Any info about some good cpu coin?

Would really appreciate help, thanks
If you have used a mining pool, then it is better to ask this question in the community of miners of this pool. If you are mining solo, then it is better to ask this in discord. With mining on pools, everything is stable now. But you should give more information about how you mined the coin.

I am using app.qubic.li for pool like every tutorial said.
Can anybody with legendary status confirm that poolsolutions.io is legit.
Thanks guys
Why do you need someone else's confirmation?
If there are instructions for Hive OS, then what are you afraid of?
Chat with miners in discord, request payment data. I have not encountered cases of non-payment of coins to miners on a pool, but sometimes I have encountered underestimated payments, so it is worth trying several pools.
243  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Huge Russian mining center in Ethiopia on: March 21, 2024, 02:41:23 PM
That's too much work for little to no gain, anyone who runs a mining farm should be able to afford a PC or laptop of some kind, if the farm has many gears then tracking them on a mobile app is going to be a nightmare, if it has a few then monitoring apps are not really needed to begin with.

Not trying to discourage OP, but the best question to ask yourself before attempting to sell a new piece of software is "why would people use it", since 99% of the users won't be to able to safely check if the software is "honest", chances are -- most of them won't run it anywhere near their mining farms, all you need to have a miserable couple of months ahead is a nightswitcher or antbleed virus infecting a dozen miners on your farm.
I don't understand what you want to say about the laptop. Do you think that a large miner will not have enough budget for several computers?
The main control is usually on the computer, but the chief and duty engineers usually have an additional application on their phone that notifies about problems and failures during mining so that the staff can respond faster.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Processing the Ryzen 9 7950X with a file on: March 21, 2024, 02:32:04 PM
In this video, the procedure is done very carefully, but in Russia some miners do this using a regular metal file
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmQ7IU8Nj2c&ab_channel=JayzTwoCents

This kind of manipulation really helps. From 92 degrees the temperature dropped to 85-88 degrees. True, we also had to solve the problem with uneven pressure on the cooler. Replacing thermal paste with a more effective one allowed us to gain a few more degrees.

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining DOGE with Antminer A3 on: March 21, 2024, 02:21:26 PM

Any modern and expensive processor and video card will lose to ASICs in mining. You compare your processor with an old ASIC, and if you compare it with a new ASIC 9.5Gh, then it will be clear that mining on the processor will not give a profit.

Of course.
I wanted to compare ASIC with CPU before buying ASIC Miner. If a CPU with a hash rate of 4 kh/s gives 1.4 doge in 24 hours, that means even the old Antminer A3 with 500 Mh/s will give (500 * 1000 * 1.4)/4 =  175,000 doge in 24 hours. This is very profitable even after the electric bill.

I was discussing whether this scaling is possible or not.
With my tariff of 5 cents and consumption of 800 watts, I have a very noisy box with a profit of 36 cents per day.
I don’t know your electricity tariffs and your consumption limits, but scaling is not always possible, and if possible, it is very expensive, so you will have to buy modern ASICs. If you have free electricity, then this is a different situation.

I already own the BITMAIN KS5 Pro, but i was also wondering about buying the K9
Were you the first buyer?
How long ago was this ASIC delivered to you?
I don’t know your purchase prices, but why buy an ASIC with the same energy consumption but 2 times less hashrate, if you can buy more modern equipment?

Trading for the coin is very weak, but Proof-of-Stake (PoS) gives more rewards than mining
https://www.livecoinwatch.com/price/NiRmataNetwork-NIR

On POS I mined 48 NIR coins in a day, today the rate is $0.46, in just a day it came out to 22 usdt - this is from 5000 coins.
Now to activate POS you need 1597 coins, but in 7 days there will be a soft fork and after it, for POS you will already need 2584 NIR coins and in another two months 4181 NIR, I hope this will affect the rate.

So recently the Wind Miner K9 was released, and it seems quite nice, do you guys have any experiences with the product? I consider buying it, since it is like the second best option for mining Kaspa Coin (Bitcoin 2.0 haha).
When was this recently? With the KHeavyHash algorithm, the mining situation changes very quickly. In March, more modern akiks Bitmain Antminer KS5 Pro (21th) should be sold, which have the same power consumption, but 2 times higher hashrate.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: UK mining with current electric prices on: March 20, 2024, 01:04:11 PM
What is your electricity price?
If the sources from the Internet are correct and the price is above 15 cents per kilowatt, then I only offer recreational mining on a mobile phone. While mining can be profitable, there are also times when even at 10 cents per kilowatt it will be easier for you to turn on your equipment.

It's currently at 19per KW I'm on octopus tracker so it changes daily but hasn't dropped below 16p for a while . My current cards for mining are 5700xt - 24mhs  and 1 580 4g - 12mhs looking at mining neoxa on the kapow algo. Looks like I can get 36mhs at 324W at the wall.
I looked at mining calculators and at a price of 19 cents per kilowatt, the 580 4g video card generates losses, and the 5700xt video card mines to pay for electricity and the profit is 0.We are currently in a bull market, but if coin prices fall, you will only have bigger losses.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Loan + Mining farm on: March 20, 2024, 12:57:15 PM
As now there are 2 options. You can set what you want recive BTC or ETH.
If you set ETH then it will mine on dwarfpool (dagger hashimito) and send you eth.
If you set BTC then it will mine on nicehash (dagger hashimito) but send you btc. <- this option has like 10% less profit due to low profitability on nicehash but its for people who dont know what ethereum is and they want btc instead.

I think that custom pool will be possible soon but first i have to make other more important stuff like:
- short youtube video and some screenshots from installation and how it works
- auto mail notifications (like rig has been booted and some info about it - how many GPUs found etc)
- separate line OS version with 15.12 AMD driver (for 3xx/2xx/7000 cards and overclocking, powertuning stuff)
- basic Dashboard on website where you can login and see status and for now basic info about your rigs

If you have any ideas, problems or you badly need some option, let me know.
dwarfpool Smiley The pool was good, but it has been closed for a long time.
I read your post and took me back to the most wonderful times for mining 9 years ago Smiley I hope you weren't in a coma for a long time because ETH is now using the POS algorithm.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining DOGE with Antminer A3 on: March 20, 2024, 12:51:45 PM
Thanks for the reply.

As a test, I mined doge (on the mining pool) on my laptop (Intel i7, no GPU). The hash rate was about 4 kh/s and gave 1.4 dogecoin in 24 hours. On that scale, 500 Mh/s is very profitable, isn't it?

Any modern and expensive processor and video card will lose to ASICs in mining. You compare your processor with an old ASIC, and if you compare it with a new ASIC 9.5Gh, then it will be clear that mining on the processor will not give a profit.

This is also where the miner for qubic came from. Miners They say that this is from the Qubic li pool. I did not find any confirmation of information about this on Qubic li pool

https://github.com/qubic-li/hiveos/releases/download/v1.8.9/qubminer-1.8.9.tar.gz
(replace in the installation url field, custom miner)
It mines just like Worm. He has the same problems as Worm. Mining is good, but only on videocards.
https://t.me/NewsSoleniy/8922

The miner is new, but according to the miners’ dialogues it is already being used and there are no problems. BUT check the links yourself.

Hi,

This is my first post in this forum. I am thinking of starting mining cryptos, starting with dogecoin using Antminer a3 (planning to buy a used one). I wonder if any of you have experience in mining dogecoin with Antminer a3 (with 500 Mh/s, 800 W)? How many doge coins can be mined in 24 hours (solo/pool mining)? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Bitmain Antminer A3 (815Gh)

This is not for DOGE mining

But if you are talking about this ASIC, then two people came up with the same idea Grin

Electricity costs from mining several video cards will be insignificant, but still, as a miner, I will be pleased when I pay for my mining equipment, and not wait several years for the price of the mined coins to rise.
But you may not wait for this moment, as it happened to me several times, and the price of these shitcoins may be a couple of dollars.
And so that I don’t feel offended, I sell some of the coins to pay for the video cards.
