Based on the efficiency improvement work of Adam Back and Andy Toshi - http://www.texpaste.com/n/xaypn9ni

yay i will test !!! thx beloved devs   Smiley

can i have testnet coins ?

You don't have to make a BIP32 testnet address (I see it in your signature). Just make a new Normal one or Stealth one and you're good to go!

I ended up adding a new flag to the CLAM client: -staketo=ADDR which you can use to tell it to move coins to the new address as they stake.

Wow. That is an awesome feature.

Very cool feature!
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DigitalNote [XDN] - private money and info transfers, blockchain deposits on: July 17, 2015, 03:04:26 PM
Hi guys. Over the past several weeks the XDN Foundation, among other things, has been actively working with multiple exchanges so that they would add the DigitalNote to their trading options. Some were cooperative and other more reluctant, but we keep working with everyone we can reach. Today, I'm proud to present you the first result of these negotiations: the XDN can now be traded on Bittrex.com!

This is only a first step on a long road, but now we are entirely sure that there is indeed a demand for XDN trading among exchanges and that we are sure to be successful in bringing the DigitalNote to the masses. Now feel free to go there and get the trade flowing!

Wasn't XDN always on Bittrex? I was trading it earlier in the year there I believe.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - such Community coin | no premine | very fast | much profit on: July 17, 2015, 03:03:14 PM

I don't trade on either but we'd get more volume on Cryptsy. Both would be wins for gaining more Asian traders.

$1500 to de-anon (crack) shadowsend. whilst i appreciate the modest means of the devs im not sure if this rings confidence, esp pre-Zeuner. otherwise a good initiative.

$100 more to crack SHA-256

Are you trying to s-off? If you're running Android 5 update it may take a bit to get it. Sunshine is the best choice for $25 but they only got it figured out to vs. 4.4 or earlier. http://theroot.ninja/
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin better than litecoin? on: July 11, 2015, 12:21:05 PM
People are actually taking the time to stress test bitcoin, unlike litecoin. I think the first btc stress test was supposed to cost $5000. I'm curious how much it would cost to stress test litecoin in a similar way.

Litecoin was stress tested very early in it's life. A fix was developed that makes it very expensive to stress the ledger now. This fix was also passed on to the bitcoin core developers and they dismissed it.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash Speculation. on: July 04, 2015, 02:15:46 PM
I bet we break 60k again and hold until another update. It's promising seeing a rise to start Q3 even though Shadow Market wasn't able to be fully out by end of Q2.

Slow steady progress, cutting edge tech development & desperate cries for a decentralized platform are all driving people to this project.

Very nice!
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] Shadow | Anon POSV2 | ShadowSend | ShadowChat | ShadowGo | ShadowMarket* on: July 04, 2015, 02:33:00 AM
Ok.. Cool update but, the ShadowMarket will be delayed if I'm understanding correctly? First the ETA was end of Q2, what's the new ETA?

Never was an ETA. Never will be an ETA. This is not a funded project.

Here is the dev address for anyone who wants to donate some Shadowcash  SdcdevXEaZaE9nDKjh6aH7kd3NcLX5rwAY

It would be nice if we could set this as our staking address in our wallet.  I would donate all my stakings and I am sure others would do the same.

I would do this too. That'd be a great way to donate.
Might talk with @presstab with Hyperstake about using his code to do this in the Shadow wallet.
256  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Mad Crypto - A new anonymous forum... NO database, NO registration, NO clutt on: July 03, 2015, 03:46:45 AM

257  Economy / Service Announcements / Mad Crypto - A new anonymous forum... NO database, NO registration, NO clutter on: July 01, 2015, 06:49:18 PM
Mad Crypto is built on the open source project: NoNonsense Forum © Copyright (CC-BY) Kroc Camen

“A simple forum that focuses on discussion and simplicity that favours removing barriers to conversation rather than massaging egos.”

How Mad Crypto differs from other forums:

:: No database
Threads are just RSS feeds. When a reply is added, a new item is added to the feed.

:: No hoops to jump through
No registration, no e-mail confirmation, no CAPTCHA. Just type your message, give a name and password you want to use and your post is made. Use the same name / password pair in the future to keep the same name, it’s that simple.

:: No clutter
No user profiles. No "status updates". No signatures. No user ranks. Just pure discussion with none of the cruft.

Bitcointalk is a huge content generator, home to hours of entertainment. Boasting plenty of bickering, it falls short on substantial content.
Reddit is "the frontpage of the internet". A massive content aggregator, its best attribute is collecting the best stories happening around the world in one place.
While both have more positives than negatives and aren't going away, they combine to be sub-par destinations for having serious, drawn-out discussions.
Mad Crypto gets away from massaging egos (profiles) and incentivising short, whitty posts (points) in favour of discourse and simplicity.

I've been searching a long time for a forum where people can stop in without going through the hoops of registering, verifying, making a signature, adding an avatar, etc.... Even a place I could post a comment without needing to login would be huge! I finally stumbled upon Kroc's sideproject and said, "This is it!"

  • Anyone can make new topics, anyone can comment.
  • You only need to remember your password if you want to keep the name you're posting with.
  • All the discourse topics are RSS feeds so you can "subscribe" to them using Feedly or other and each new post will update the feed.
  • It's a clean interface without all the puffery of every other forum out there, making it a great place to get into deeper conversations.

Anyways, I'd appreciate some field testing of the forum if you're so inclined. Cheers ahead of time.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: July 01, 2015, 05:41:17 PM
Bump for BBR. Smiley

Boolberry is a good cryptonote coin, with or without Supernet. It had a fair launch and implements some original ideas not used in other cryptonote coins (its not just a clone).

Monero clearly has more developers working on their project and more supporting services. However with a market cap less than 1/40th of XMR an official GUI and some original features (related to database size and mixin levels), I like the risk/reward ratio for BBR.

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/boolberry/
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/

Good choice, makes sense for anyone holding XMR to invest in a bucket load of BBR (given it's clearly under-valued & is the most innovative Cryptonote coin).

And vice versa, anyone invested in BBR should hedge with a few XMR also.  Wink

What? No love for DuckNote DarkNote DigitalNote ? Wink
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: July 01, 2015, 05:39:28 PM
i am confused  Huh

exactly how you guys making profit from a coin with less than 1 btc volume

monkeys playing peanuts?

it's obvious they are posting random pumps here and take the merit for that. But everyone know they are making money by charging the noobs for joining this "pump" group.

Indeed

I am loving where this is going.

Just an idea, let's start a signature campaign. If you make an address, I will kick in 2 million
