241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blogs and Forums. Additional Features in Online Casinos on: April 26, 2024, 11:52:39 PM
I agree with what most posters said, it's not a priority for us, although good addition, but not a must for casinos. And I think 90% of crypto based casinos have at one time have signature campaigns here or have created a Ann thread.

But forum has advantage and disadvantage though, separate from this community. Gamblers can talk freely although they could also be moderated by the casino. And if we are going to rank which features we wanted to see in a casinos, sad to say but this could be in last in our list.
242  Economy / Economics / Re: World price tag on every product. on: April 26, 2024, 11:32:32 PM
The world has gotten to that point in which every product should have a particular price is been sold for.
A product that is been sold for $5 in USA should also be sold for $5 in Canada and China, this way it will help the world leaders to remove hunger in the world, it will also help grow the economy of every country because countries can buy product from one another at a better price, this method will really help in reducing suffering in the world because hunger is one of man's major problem.
The world leaders should sit and implement this policy every product will be given a price that will be comfortable to every common man in different countries of the world.

Good argument but there are a lot of flaws in your argument. Do you know that there price tags could have been different because not everyone can produce a particular product like rice? And as much as you and I and the rest here wanted to reduce hunger, this kind of setup will not help.

And I think every government is doing everything at their disposals to curb whatever issues they have in their own country. But we all know that there is no balance in power in this world and there are problems that inherent, hard to solved specially if it involves humanity, i.e world peace (now we have wars in the Middle East), hunger.

^^ Yeah just saw it too, and it's good to see this kind of info before playing any on those slot games.

And it includes Gates of Olympic, love that game and it's really thrilling to play because of the potential to win big. Of course any Hacksaw gaming slots as well exhilarating. But I'm into Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming as my favorite casino software or provider to play right now.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple prediction: 2024 bitcoin at 200.000 dollars on: April 26, 2024, 10:46:18 PM
For the bull cycle, maybe we can get to close to $200k, as there are predictions like $150k-$180k. But there are a lot of factors to consider here, like the war in the background and some other negative news that might impact the market to reach that high.

I am fixated on speculation that Bitcoin won't break $200k this bull run until spot ETF is approved.  I now think that Bitcoin have a better chance of breaking $200k this 2025 bull run since with these institutions taking part of the Bitcoin craze, it is highly likely that more investors will be attracted to invest more money on the Bitcoin market.  We have seen how irregular the movement of Bitcoin price this pre-halving event, ATH of 2021 had been broken even before the halving event happens, so taking into consideration the recent market movement and looking forward to the bull run of 2025, I somehow think that $200k  BTC is possible, but not this 2024 like what @OP is predicting.

Anyhow, almost week after the halving, fees are back to normal or at least not that high as compare during the halving itself, pretty much the market has settled down.

Probably people realized that they are minting useless NFT and think that they will suffer a huge loss if they continue with the NFT minting and paying with high fees.

I wouldn't used the term fixated though, maybe we are all excited what this bull run will bring? Bitcoin Spot ETF has been approved already and we did feel the impact of it right away as we have new all time high before the halving.

But it's going to be long term perspective as what could have been the effect to us. And that's why like you, we speculate that now $200,000 could be within reach because of this good news to us. Not just in the US, but there are countries who follow,

So everything is falling for us and we have this year and the next to achieved that.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 26, 2024, 10:08:45 PM
Maybe, Tapales tried that strategy as well early on Inoue, but from time to time Inoue will caught him going inside.

The strategy of Tapales was very simple, it might have been effective if he has power because somehow he was able to hit Inoue with his counter punches, but due to the lack of power, Inoue earn high confidence and he continues to attack Tapales. With great strategy and power, I think Nery will be able to give that to Inoue and make give him trouble, but as you said, there's no blueprint yet as to how to defeat Inoue, so I'd say it's easier said than done.

Nery though has power, and if he hit Inoue early, we will see if it has effect on the Japanese or not. I can't remember what rounds Donaire was able to break Inoue's orbital bone, but it could be a series of blows.

However, it just shows how mentally tough Inoue is, not just his physical attributes, but he has what other great champions has, his mind to continue to fight even he feels that he is injured or not. We've seen fighters quitting in their stool because of injuries, but not Inoue. So we can say that he is a complete fighter that's why it is hard to beat him at this point and hard to see what kind of scheme Nery will have to develop in order to win.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 26, 2024, 11:37:05 AM

It's not about likeable or what, he was chosen because Canelo and his camp knows that they can beat this kid. Literally, he is, very young, not much of a experience under his belt. And we can compare this fight when Canelo was relatively unknown and Mayweather gives him the chance. It was Oscar who really did that to Canelo, giving him the break to fight in the US for the first time.

Let's see how will it end up because if Canelo actually wins this one, they cannot escape their fate anymore to fight Benavidez or else they will suffer great humiliation just because he avoided him in his entire career which is not really good when he step-out of boxing. We already see the fight between Crawford and Spence, now is the time for them to show who is the best boxer between them as well. Canelo should willing to take the risk to fight Benavidez after this one unless he will struggle to beat this kid.

I was really hoping it would be David Benavidez who will be up next for Canelo but I guess they are really avoiding him. Cinco de Mayo, Jaime Munguia versus the Super Middleweight Champion.
I just wish there was not too much respect that will happen, that would lead to giving the champion his belt because they are fellow Mexicans. Munguia can box and his fists are heavy after he TKO'ed John Ryder in January. I think he can give Canelo a hard time if he takes this seriously and not just for entertainment. I am just assuming here but I saw how much respect he gave to the champion. It's a great chance to fight him but taking his belt should be the priority.
If Canelo wins here, he should face Benavidez next. If not, then it will be better to hang the gloves.

After that day, it will be Inoue vs Nery next. Rawr!

I think Munguia will go and try to win here, it's will not be for entertainment purposes for sure. He has been dreaming of fighting Canelo for years and this is his one chance to win and get the belt and become the next star, him and Ryan Garcia. That's why you can see thru the eyes of his promoter that Oscar is very glad to set up the fight.

David Benavidez is going up at 175 lbs already so Canelo it out of the picture for now. But David has a chance to become a unified champion himself. So they have separated their ways for now and only time can tell if Canelo is still interested on Benavidez or will go after Berlanga next as this is what boxing reporters are telling us.

Inoue and Nery, another great fight, but I think Inoue wins here.

248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: April 24, 2024, 11:32:53 PM
Each person should be tailoring his investment to his situation, and surely there should be less ability to aggressively invest into bitcoin if you are brand new to investing and brand new to bitcoin, and so if you don't have your shit together, including having some consideration of the 9 individual factors.

That's what we do talk about on the Forum on how newbies rush into Bitcoin just because they have a little knowledge of it and they forget that they still need to learn more about Bitcoin, no plan no strategy and they engage in it because they see others benefiting from it, they feel is easy and they too can gain more than they invest, things don't work out that way in the crypto space, seeking for mentorship and advise helps a lot.

I don't really believe there is much to know before getting started to buy bitcoin, all a newbie has to know is how to buy at first and them the next to hold, if there is any knowledge I consider compulsory is knowing how to manage his finances and know what he need to allocate to bitcoin without choking out himself and eventually selling off so early when he can't keep up any longer, and another thing is to have an emergency funds in place.

You still need to understand how it works though, being a investment platform, anyone entering the market should learn how to make money out of the market. It's not just you will buy it and then what? Although it's very easy as it's just the basic buy and hold and sell when we are on top. But others, might not have that idea in the beginning and  thinks that Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme.

Yeah I can understand that a lot of persons actually get into bitcoin thinking it's a money making machine and tend to engage into short term investment and all that, and some even tend to get frustrated when holding in the bear market and might also sell of their bitcoin due to fear or panic, but what is most important for anyone to learn how to buy bitcoin and hold it.

That's what I'm saying, their could be newbies who think it's a magic internet money, that you will make a lot effortlessly. And probably this is also the reason why some newbies quit early because it fails their expectations.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 24, 2024, 11:13:20 PM
I have seen Mike Tyson and his training now, I feel like that is actually a good situation to be in at that age. I mean he did have some period in his life when he didn't take care of his body, it looked like he gained so much weight (maybe even more than 100 pounds) and he looked just straight up fat and unhealthy, even used a cane to walk. That Mike Tyson would of course not be able to fight, the one from Hangover movies, that wasn't a possibility for him to fight.

That is just training though, the conditions is very much different in a actual fight. It's a controlled environment for Tyson to show his skills in the mitt, however, in the actual fight it could be different. Can he last that many rounds?

However, looking at him now, he is leaner, and he looks meaner as well, he is punching the hell out of anyone, and he is not like that anymore. I believe that he is nowhere near what he used to be obviously, but he is clearly the better boxer than Jake, without a doubt.

It's because he is doing trainer and will obviously be in the best shape of his life. But boxing is more than that, you need stamina as well and as his age, it might be a problem for him. Jake is young and so he has a lot of gas tank. Mike could be tired after 2-3 rounds.

251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 24, 2024, 10:31:05 PM
Wrong, they are not on the same stable, Canelo has left Golden Boy Promotions years ago, and that's why Oscar is very salty of Canelo for leaving him. And as being promoted, Oscar wanted to get back at Canelo, and he wants his new prodigy, Jaime Munguia to beat Canelo here.

I really like Jaime Munguia this kid has a future and right now those punches of Jaime Munguia are really something that kind of reminded me of how Pacquiao is still starting and while Canelo has cut ties with the Golden Boy Production there is a new favorite for Oscar in picking some apple that has fallen from the same tree for sure all eh love to see the destruction of Canelo for sure.

Yes, because Canelo and Munguia shows mutual respect. That's why it was Oscar who are promoting this fight to have that kind of storyboard for him. Munguia. Oscar even said that he will beat Canelo in his prime. And just like I said, he is reigniting their so called feud to make the fans more interested to see this fight.

For sure that hype was part of the manipulation and for a fight to be reignited like this it could be a good thing because there are now many people who want to see that fight who would not want to witness such a spectacle for sure many boxing fans would love to see that fight and for sure there will be more people that will be stocking up with Jaime Munguia side and many will certainly want that to happen.

I do agree, this kid is likeable, I mean he is not a trash talking, although if you talk bad about him, for sure he will comeback and bark at you. And this is also the reason why Canelo give him the shot as he says that this kid is respectful, maybe he is pertaining to Benavidez as well, another Mexican that almost trash talk and says something that is not nice against Canelo (but who knows, maybe this is just another excuse from him). Nevertheless, we have taken notice of this kid and we will give him a chance because we have seen the underdog in Ryan Garcia totally dominating the favorite in Devin Haney and win that fight and earn the respect of boxing fans.

Anyhow, it's about 2 weeks away from this fight, give and take. And for sure they have seen the Ryan Garcia vs Devin Haney fight. Which means they are thinking that this kind of upsets do really happen and most likely Munguia will want the winning streak of GBP with another huge win here.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 24, 2024, 10:00:47 PM
That might only be our range but what if we are addicted?
I think we wouldn't mind paying 50 dollar for the fee and still have a 50 dollar left for play.

For those gambler whose money is only 50 dollar and below, maybe they will choose lightning network for a while because you know that was still part of BTC and I saw that many casinos now started supporting lightning network.

Bitcoin price is still the same dump, so maybe that was true that the rise in its fees are caused by the halving and it can take a while for the fees to get sorted out. I know this is not the first time the BTC fees increase insanely this high and I am expecting these high fee trend may continue until bitcoin prices rises up to the level to compensate the miners for same amount of fees in satoshi.

This is where the use of stable coins come in. The liquidity of stable coin is an added advantage to their network especially when Bitcoin mempool start getting congested. So if a gambler is addicted, he might want to use stable coin or any other coin that has higher liquidity than Bitcoin at this mempool congestion period. If a gambler is addicted he'll take the chances of risking even more fee to get very small Bitcoin deposit, because when they are not patient to make good decisions they will eventually end up getting broke if they have all their asset in Bitcoin. Most of those gambling games that accepts Bitcoin are usually slot games which is a bit difficult to make huge win, and addicted gamblers will experience more losses this period of mempool congestion.

Yeah, I think this is where USDT enters, just like when we hedge our Bitcoin when the price is fluctuating, we can do it the same now when the mempool is clogged for whatever reasons. Although if you look at the fees right now, it is down more than 10x already from the highs that we have seen since the block halving. Currently, it's 45 sat/vB and we don't know if it's going to go up later or not.

But at least for us gamblers, as much as we love Bitcoin to be our main currency to gamble, it is wise to try and used other altcoins as well. Just be flexible and we will be good and then we can go back to Bitcoin if everything has settled down.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lies told to cover up gambling habit on: April 23, 2024, 10:40:54 PM
I once did, 2017 or 2018, I had my Christmas Bonus and the first thing I do is go to land base casinos and then "donated" it all. Went home at night and I can't tell to my wife straight away that I've lost my years hard work in just a couple of hours. Didn't do the walk of shame, but I was just staring and she notice me and so I admit what I have done.

Of course she was furious to me, and didn't talked to me for one day. But after that, it's back to normal and I didn't do that again. Or if I'm going to gamble, she would come. However, since the advent of online casinos, we knew when each other is going to gamble. And so I didn't do that after that big mistake of mine.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] David Benavidez vs. Olexandr Gvozdyk interim WBC Championship on: April 23, 2024, 10:21:55 PM
Whoever will lose in the fight Beterbiev vs Bivol I guess Canelo will face?  Canelo vs Bivol 2 would actually be good so Canelo can regain back that loss. Beterbiev though old, that guy is still massive.

Canelo would want that, he was talking about rematch with Bivol when he loss but it seems he isn't serious with it. Now, for sure he will consider fighing the loser of this fight as that would be favorable for him, and in terms of selling the fight, it's not a problem anymore as Canelo is very popular.

He want's it at 168 lbs, which initially Bivol doesn't want to. But later Bivol said that he is willing to go down to 168 lbs, however, he had a fight already and won. And then this unification which is bigger than a Canelo fight in terms of magnitude and of course the support of HE Turki Alalshikh. Now considered the most powerful of brokers in boxing.

A Bivol vs Canelo II would be interesting to watch, and I can already see what would happen next, if Canelo will even the outcome like beating Bivol in a rematch, there could be a possible trilogy, which will create more hype in the career of Canelo, just a smart strategy in case he'll bite that.

Canelo has a lot in his table before he retires, his rematch or even a Benavidez fight. But it seems that he is not interested as of now. Because it was reported that after this fight, his next will be against another young fighter in Berlanga.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 23, 2024, 09:58:55 PM
What do you guys think about the Canelo Vs Munguia fight, which is not far away, on 4th May.
Bookies seem to be thinking it's going to be smooth sailing for Canelo. I'm not that big of a boxing fan and haven't been following Munguia's career that closely, but his record and KO rate (of almost 80%) look quite impressive.

Odds are very similar to Canelo Vs Bivol, when the Mexican was a big favorite but got outclassed by the Russian.

Are these fair or misplaced? Worth putting a few $ on Munguia?

I don't think that any oddmakers are going over or under when they list their odds in the market. This punters really know what they are doing and so I don't think they have misplaced it. Munguia is the obvious underdog and Canelo being the cash cow and the A-side will be the favorite here just like in the Bivol fight. But it's not always 100% that the favorite is going to win, obviously as we have been played by Ryan Garcia as he is also a 7:1 underdog at some point and then won in a dominating fashion against the favorite Haney.

So who knows, it could be worth to put some $$$ on Munguia here and we could have witnessed 2-0 underdog win for GBP. This fight is just a couple of weeks and maybe we could see some swings in the odds, at least some movement to close that huge gap and whales shelling out money on Munguia.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2030 Assumptions on: April 21, 2024, 08:46:01 PM
"Bitcoin mining will become unprofitable."

This one cannot happen. If mining is not profitable, then the network will not be secure, so activity and fees will need to be high enough to cover mining costs. If BTC goes fully mainstream mining will still be very profitable.

And I think mining manufactures will have to adjust, that's how they are doing it for years after the halving, they come with a better PoW machine so secure the network so it will still be as profitable as like two halving years ago. And most likely they are producing machines or design ASIC that can be cheap and cost effective and friendly.

Probably the OP is talking about the price, and again, very hard to predict but I guess Bitcoin will still continue to dominate the market, and be around 6 digits by that time and maybe more countries are going to legally adopt it like what El Salvador is doing.

257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 21, 2024, 05:28:28 AM
Another knockdown again for Ryan Garcia! This is round 10! I reckon if Ryan loses this, we will still win. The loser here is Devin Haney because this fight is opening questions on his capability. Tank Davis or Shakur Stevenson might be calling their managers heehehehee

Ryan Garcia can't be denied this time around. What an upset mate. Majority decision for Ryan Garcia.

Though no belt, i think Garcia should get the respect of the boxing community as he beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. hehe.

IMO, Haney should get the rematch and this time if either fighter can't make the scale, the fight should be canceled.

But then again, he was over the weight limit and 3 lbs is huge.

Anyhow, we will see, I cant' remember if there is a rematch clause, but they should fight at 140 lbs, simply as that. And I think Derick James needed this win as well and for Golden Boy, 1-0 now. Let's see if Oscar can make it 2-0 with another huge upset win with Jaime Mungia.

Props to Ryan Garcia, dude has power, knows how to sell the fight, it's just that he didn't make the weight, he could be the belt holder now.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next for Bitcoin Enthusiast on: April 21, 2024, 03:01:20 AM
Over the past year or so, we've been discussing and anticipating the Bitcoin Halving. We heard that after the Bitcoin halving comes the bull run. We've learned different strategies to accumulate Bitcoin in preparation for this event. As humans, we easily get bored if there is no goal in sight or task ahead of us. The Bitcoin halving was the goal in sight that motivated many Bitcoiners to accumulate Bitcoin. Now that the event has technically come and gone, what is the next big thing that we should look forward to? What are the next collective goals or tasks ahead of us to stay motivated?

I guess one of the motivation is to make money in the market, admit it or not. So how can we do it? We buy as much as we can, even after the halving and accumulate and then wait what will be the new all time high, the peak price in this bull run cycle, time it, and sell for a ROI.

And with that halving done already then still continue what we are doing, DCA. If it ain't broken, then don't fix it mantra.

You can't just sit and watch your wallet grows, we are still have the opportunity so stack sats.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tropicana, 3rd oldest casino in Vegas, shutting down after 67 years on: April 21, 2024, 02:19:39 AM
reading through the article it seems that the casino is tied to a lot of notable history that has happened in Las Vegas. quite a shame that it is closing now.

It is, that's why you can see some emotions on the employees and those patrons as well.

And in movies, for sure majority of us have seen Godfather I and in one scene when Pacino travelled to Las Vegas to take to Mo Greene, it was reported that this scene was in Tropicana.

Also another movie, James Bond's "Diamonds are Forever", old movie too, and 007 stays at Tropicana.

They should have kept it for historic reasons, tourism and  when its got that much history its like a movie set surely.  Alot of the history they cant state clearly because it would be mafia or some crime related surely and they dont want that ongoing implication so its all lost now.

As much as we love too see this happened and preserved the casinos as historic place, the owners will have to make money out of their business. So no wonder they have to sell and maybe it was really established by the mob and since their influence has waned down in the last 20 years, they can't exert any pressures to the owner not to sell. In short, 'they don't have the muscle anymore'.

260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: April 21, 2024, 01:30:44 AM
Not gonna lie but even if Frank is a tough opponent, I guess I would go with Tank on this match up; experience, better knockout artist, absolute power puncher, and agility of course. Anything could still happen indeed but we're talking about subjective opinion and mine this time would be Tank, as I said. Tank grew so fast on his career and what made me think of such way was his fight with Ryan. He's an intelligent boxer and all of his opponents will be having a hard time against him especially at this point that he continues his heavy training on his team. Would be for sure exciting to watch. For me, Martin is still too young to go toe to toe with Tank. He needs to grow more and to polish his skills before he get to Tank's level.

We don't know what's the outcome of this fight but we can predict what will happen in the fight once we gonna make a good research on both sides. Actually they have the same things they are both undefeated and good fighter inside the ring. And also we are all know that they got a title which is they are recognize in some countries. But for me in this fight maybe tank David can do a good shot that can win against his opponent not in knockout but maybe by unanimous decision. But I think frank martin won't let that happen so this is a good fight to watch.
I believe this would be ending with a K.O. Both are aggressive in the first place once they get their phasing. Both of their undefeated records are on the line which adds thrill watching and choosing the right fighter to bet in.

If two aggressive boxers face off in the ring, sooner or later someone will going to kiss the canvass. And as you have said, Frank is tough, no doubt about it, looks technically sound and very confident against Tank Davis.

But Tank has all the tools and advantage, the power is crazy and scary and it seems that this is the best weight class for him as his body can still squeeze that 135 lbs of pure muscle. Unlike what we have seen in Ryan not making the wight at 140 lbs. Anyhow, Benavidez vs Gvozdyk will be the main card in this fight and probably this tickets are going to sell and I wouldn't be surprised if it's sold out and PPV numbers is very high.
