241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees and how we accept its volatility on: January 04, 2024, 10:42:24 PM
I have no idea if I'll feel happy about it or not because with such fees like this low now, we're already happy and celebrating about it. Where in fact that it should be lesser than that but I guess this is what we should be grateful for the new year that has come.

But we are becoming used to it and that's why it's a matter of how low it can go now compared to the past months that we've seen terribly high transaction fees and cost for us to make it.

Very nice, so what happened to make the fees go down?
Likely that the brcs are not having that much this time ,eh?
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 04, 2024, 09:29:10 PM
I've read some statements from Steph that he's like one of the walls of the team and he shouldn't be traded because most of the decisions for each game, he's there to help.

Well, that's from the star players opinion and he might be one of the influence for whatever the management's decision.

But if it's about the actual business and what management think is best for the team, they may or may not consider any words from him.
At the end of the day, business is still a business. They will soon trade even Klay if he will not step up his game. I won't be surprised if the management will trade Draymond Green. They want someone who can help Steph, not someone who will cause problems for them.
I couldn't agree more with that.

NBA is a huge business and each team has their own interest to have the stronger line up and if they think that Dray and Wiggins are no longer effective on their end, they'll have them trade regardless of how many championships they've given to them.

We've seen stars even moving here and there and it doesn't matter to them anymore because that's how they understand how the entire business in the NBA works.

If it's going to be helpful to them and with Steph, they'll probably take another younger calibers.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2024, 11:51:45 PM
Speaking of Draymond, there are reports that his future with the Warriors is bleak. Rumors has it that with his suspension, he might not get back with the team and be traded. Of course this is just a rumor for now and there are a lot of things going on behind the Warriors, like also the news of Andrew Wiggins potential trade.

244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 03, 2024, 10:47:58 PM
Even why the price has dropped to this level some people won't still buy, they will be waiting to see if the price will fall more than this.
Some people are expert in making some bad news so that there will be panic in the market and people will start selling off, why they will be buying. Only newbies won't understand this tricks. But as an old investor who understands the game that's being played here, it's to buy while others are selling. Moreover Bitcoin will be here and will keep performing with or without the SEC giving it a go. The most important thing is to benefit from this dip by accumulating more.
True but what they will see is that it is not going to be lower than that. It dropped quickly to $40k and I've seen and then recovered back rapidly to $42k. These drops comes once in a while and there's a purpose of it, some big boats have sink for a while but then floated again.

I agree to all that you've said, it's basically what's happening to the market and will happen again when we're approaching the bull run. It's necessary to have some of these dips and those that have been watching the market should take their moment and be decisive before it full recovers and lands to another price that we've met since 3 years ago.

Newbies can get shaken fairly easily, so part of the volatility is likely caused by folks who are purposefully wanting to shake some newbies.

The other thing is that anyone who is either new to bitcoin or maybe in their first cycle are likely to be in a BTC accumulation phase, so they should love to be able to get bitcoin for lower prices. .and of course, it is not necessarily easy to keep buying as the income comes in, but there could be some positive thoughts, and of course, you jossiel are likely getting on two cycles, and sure it is possible that you are still accumulating bitcoin or that you made several mistakes along the way, and so it can take a while to get out of accumulation phase, even for someone who has been into bitcoin for a couple of cycles..... and I had given those kinds of examples in the past of someone who had been accumulating more aggressively compared  to someone who had not and even compared with someone who made some mistakes along the way and started accumulating more aggressively at later dates...
I've made a lot of mistakes but I'm still accumulating and I think that I'll keep doing it as long as I live. But this time, when I see these quick crashes, it's no longer painful to my heart honestly. But way back years ago, believe me that it's like that someone's crushing my heart whenever I see it.

Those mistakes and experiences really have helped me to get over these scenarios and I am sure that everybody does that have been here for quite a while.

so even someone who has been around for a while, they might have spent their first few years in bitcoin without a very good or focused plan.
That's true and those moments have taught us a lot, it was a great experience and I am sure that there will be greater up to the greatest moments of our lives as we stay.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 03, 2024, 09:20:45 PM
I agree with you but there is nothing to do when the market suddenly crashes after you invest. Today suddenly the market has crashed so much that after investing I suddenly entered the market and saw a big fall in this case I did not get enough opportunity to do market analysis. Those who want to invest right now can definitely invest in this DIP market and wait for the next Bullrun.

Market now temporarily Crashed, Do Your Own Research (DYOR)
Yup, with these crashes all of a sudden. The market is still giving them opportunity to buy and hold. Because when the price is quite high, all they do is complain that they can't buy it anymore as it is already expensive. But they can still buy even with that price but the quantity of Bitcoin they'll able to get is lesser.

So, with the market crash. Everyone is saying that it is about the latest ugly news about someone's speculation that ETF won't do shit on this market and SEC won't give a go.

Whoever made that news sees that people are still too emotional when some unexpected news like that comes out.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 02, 2024, 11:35:33 PM
Los Angeles Lakers, once a legendary team, are now in decline.
To be honest, most of the teams there in the NBA are legendary but every season there's a decline for each of theirs. I like what OKC is doing right now, they've got Chet and helped the team improved in the rankings.

And for some individual achievement, Jordan Clarkson got a triple double for the first time and again for the Utah Jazz since 2008 with Carlos Boozer.

Even though Draymond Green was a core foundation for the Golden State Warriors he could be a potential trade in this upcoming trade window, but think about it do you think there are teams that needed the service of Draymond Green in his 33 years of age for sure Draymond Green was only useful in the Warrior Core and the Warriors is a different beast when Draymond is around, but because of the new young players of the Warriors with Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski the Warriors had a new line of both offense and defense although Green Defense is essential for sure but if he is acting like that then I think the Warriors need to take a hard decision,
While I think that if he's traded, there will be some teams that are interested to take him since he's from a champ team. I guess that's what will be remembered on him and not himself alone.

And from being a core which only GSW sees him like that, he might just go back to being a support player if traded.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Ditching US dollar on: January 02, 2024, 10:16:22 PM
It always has a big impact against the US economy and that's why they are doing all things to revert back the countries that are ditching their dollar.

I've read it from someone that in China, it's a total obvious. Most citizens have only a few choice to pay their things.

Cash, alipay, wechatpay and the other Chinese payment processing apps if I've missed one.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 01, 2024, 10:52:22 PM
My family will definitely know that if I do not come to see them then they will come to see me. Whether I am dead or sick, they will notice because I usually come to see them.

It is also easier today, with technology like messaging apps. I can struggle to get that phone and message them and will do any means so that I will be able to contact them.

Unless I am already dead and won't be able to see and contact them.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 31, 2023, 09:24:57 PM

If you have ever followed the run of OKC, they're consistent. As you can see on the standings, they're currently ranked two on the West while Nuggets is 3rd.

They've got their key players and not just that they're key players but they're as well as the contributors of the team. SGA is getting the spotlight now and no contest that he's good.
Yeah of course, I know their ranking, but Nuggets are Nuggets, I mean they are the defending champion and they lose that big, and worst is it's on their home court where they are very dominant. I'm impresed with OKC, I think I should respect them and won't be betting against team, even at home or on the road. SGA the man, he should be the MVP of the month?
That's your choice to respect them and it can be applied with any other team but if that type of respect is not to bet against them, that sounds cool.

This version of OKC is like a rebrand and re-roster since this is the first time or season that they've been with Chet as well so, it's a strong contender again.

Quote
On the other hand with Pistons, how long is the contract of Cunningham on them since he's their pick on the draft? 2 - 3 years?

He will stay for a while with the team as he is only RFA in 2025, so there's still 2 years (more or less).
I see, a rebuild is going to happen here for sure. Although they are not doing well this season and recently, they've won against the Raptors. That's like a champ feeling already on them, LOL.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 30, 2023, 02:22:14 PM
The defending champion Denver Nuggets loss to the Oklahoma Thunder once again, it wasn't even a close game as OKC had dominated them in a 26 points victory. What happened here? I know    Aaron Gordon was out, but Murray and Jokic played, I don't understand what happened to the Nuggets, or just the OKC is so good right now?

BTW, SGA scored 40 points from a an efficient shooting (14-20), the consistency level of this guy is very impressive.

Should be at the top 3 of the MVP conversation now.

251  Economy / Services / Re: Free Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator (Service) on: December 30, 2023, 11:51:18 AM
I guess OP is just trying really to help everyone that have stuck transaction but he didn't know that rebroadcasting the transaction won't even give a guarantee of confirmation and will just prolong the delay of someone's transaction especially if the fee is too low than what's asked by the network.

But the odd thing really is adding his telegram account. While it is written in Russian language I think, he's got some members already on that channel. So basically, if someone is luckily got helped and believed that it was him who accelerated the transaction, he'll gain a user on that channel he owns.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 29, 2023, 11:21:28 PM
The planned third title defense will be against Johnreil Casimero, a 3-division world champion. Inoue and Casimero were scheduled already to unify their belts when the pandemic of COVID-19 happened. It was canceled but it seems like they are destined to really face each other.
There's so much hype on this third potential match of Inoue on 2024. If this is already on the books, then we will have to wait because I think that he's going to beat Casimero as well.

But as long as it's not yet official and confirmed because it's still far and too many things can still happen within the period of time.

Honestly, three matches for a year, that's a lot IMO. Are there any other professional boxers that have fought three times a year or more than that?

If there will be new newbies that will come here and will ask questions that we know. We can always help them in the best that we can. Just as you, everyone has to start somewhere and you have to enjoy it all along.

Now I'm more confident to do my own research and share new information here. Big thanks to everyone.
Good luck and I hope that joy won't fade away as you stay here.
254  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 28, 2023, 10:05:46 PM
Our initial cut-off date for refund requests was 30 days.

However, based on community feedback, we have decided to extend it for a few more days until January 1st.
After this date, we will no longer process or respond to emails related to the refund request.
This has been a challenging process, but fortunately, we worked it out successfully.
That's nice to hear even if it's just going to be one day away from the actual deadline you've set. Because everyone has cared for those users that are eligible for the refund.

This is already enough that there will be no more extensions if it's already been decided.

Payments were scheduled to be made in batches, but to avoid confusion and other related issues, we have decided to process everything in one go.

Thank you for your cooperation.
Alright, this is a guarantee that everyone who probably have been waiting for their turn will have to wait a little bit to be taken care for one just single go.
255  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: December 28, 2023, 08:05:01 PM
Actually a small miracle just happened.....I tried everything from emails to messages on TG to their chat moderators....and just now half an hour ago they finally responded on TG and they processed my pending withdrawal.....is it coincidence or did they read this thread? I guess we will never know but I'm glad they do pay at least. However if any future withdrawals take many days or more then I will ofcourse report about it here again.
For now I will also update my Casino Guru complaint to resolved.
That's good news honestly and you are probably right that they might have seen this thread and they're able to process your withdrawal or it's just that they have got a long queue and it's just truly a coincidence that you've posted about them and then they're able to get on your queue.

Keep us updated on what has happened next or if they're able to process the withdrawal successfully since it's already pending for now.

It's kinda childish from them to lock their own thread, but we can use this one to keep discussing them.
If they are able to unlock their thread, that's the time that you should close this one.
256  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: December 27, 2023, 11:09:25 PM
The fact that they locked their own thread on here does not mean we cannot talk about them in here.
Anybody still playing here and what are the experiences?
I don't play there but I didn't noticed that they've locked the thread until you have posted this thread. Well, in a community especially on this board where gamblers are all around.

Making the thread, an official thread they made should be kept open to let the others speak what they want to speak or complain if they ever have some.

It's not actually a good impression when they have locked the topic and they've got issues that they need to solve.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange is best for crypto-to-crypto trades with no KYC and low fees? on: December 27, 2023, 09:30:16 PM
If you're asking about centralized exchanges that won't ask you with KYC, only a few of them are left to be like that. But even if you stay on them for so long, it's not going to be long that they'll change their terms and soon might ask for their customers a mandatory KYC.

We've seen this with Binance and Kucoin where these two are like the non-kyc centralized exchanges that have been liked by most crypto traders. And then, it has come to an end.

And as you've mentioned DEX, you might just to go with there but sometimes liquidity isn't that much and they're likely prone to attacks.

I would say, it is better to take the route of submitting kyc rather than using a non reputable trading platform
For sure, you will regret using these nonkyc platforms once your funds got frozen or screwed by them.
I won't trust my funds on this type of platform, I'd rather use the services of binance and other reputable platforms.
As the services in DEX are limited, you will find out that you still need to utilize the services of a CEX service.
We have our choices on this one.

If we feel that our funds are safer with the KYCed exchanges like Binance or any other. You can use them but the point here is OP is looking for the exchange that has no KYC.

I guess with the KYCed exchanges, one thing that he'll like is about the low fees compared with the DEXes that could surprise him with the fees that he'll get.

259  Economy / Gambling / Re: PvP Games in Casinos | What's your thoughts? on: December 26, 2023, 08:16:27 PM
I like these PvP games when they're applied to the classic gambling games that we knew and have been existing for a long time.

there've been many of those PvP games, you however can't easily find someone to play with on those games. hard to find someone who will bet against your choice and eventually it's still the house that you end up playing against.

high roller vs high roller in pvp game would be a nice game to watch but i'm not sure if this will happen in a pvp game though. if they could talk or mke a thread first in the forum before playing, it would give us a chance to watch them.
However, I agree on what he said about these PvP games. There should be someone on the other end that's going to be your opponent. If there's none, the boat won't be moving and you can't play because that's how PvP's are made.

That's why it's easier to just go with the typical and classical PvE games that you don't have to wait any longer to gamble.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Accomplished What Brought You to Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2023, 06:49:32 PM
I think that I've accomplished a lot in life because of Bitcoin. I don't have that much happiness in life as I am a simple guy and just wanting to see happily as I go with my family.

But as time goes by, I am still a human and I want to achieve more with Bitcoin and that's why I am holding and waiting for the right time to sell as well.

I can relate to OPs story and we're on the same page about opportunities and Bitcoin has made it easier for people like us.
