The loss of Watkins is a good argument, but 1.26... this is literally the quote of Athletic (4th place) against Granada (19th), but in this case we have third place playing against fourth. I understand that this is a distant analogy, but it makes some sense.
City by all indication should win on Wednesday. Aston Villa are a strong opponent, but with the circumstances around the match they should win easy.

- Jay -

I'm with KTChampions here. This is a poor indication of Villa, and an overestimation of City. Of course, City I think should still win this fairly comfortably.

I haven't gotten over the final match day City-Villa under Gerrard... when Coutinho put Villa up 2 nil... and still lost 3-2. That's just how impossible it is to beat City.
242  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin becomes the first FIU-compliant global crypto exchange in India on: April 02, 2024, 01:21:51 PM
If it were up to me, I'd choose a reputable exchange with mandatory kyc any day. NO KYC exchanges are still pretty limited in terms of liquidity + market products available -- a lot are p2p and instant swaps.

That's the general view, and personally, there are some things I don't mind doing KYC for. I actually picked an exchange and did complete KYC (in advance of any future possible volume once I become a billionaire).

But curious to know why you'd pick an exchange over P2P? I don't use P2P platforms much these days, as my P2P contacts are in my own web of trust, from years ago, but I know the liquidity isn't great these days once the Localbitcoins exodus spread out. Still, the average user hardly puts the liquidity even on Bisq at jeopardy.

Edit: I completely forgot that I came in here to comment on Kucoin winning in India and losing face to CFTC and SEC just days later. That's tough.

To those facing spreadsheet problems (Google sheet, and any kind of sheet really, like the one in Livecasino sigcamp, which also gives weird issues): It can be helpful to clear your cache and cookies. For me, I even just sign in on a fresh browser if it really gives me problems. And definitely, check submissions on the sheet to confirm it went through. Takes you an extra couple of seconds but it saves you unnecessary disappointment.

Slissy, smack dar for me man. Hate my snooker answers, but I think I'll aim to draw that one.

The framing on the Liverpool - United game makes it seem as if it's Manchester United and not Sheffield United, intentional or no? Cheesy

It's Man United, weekend's game Grin
Liverpool's playing at home against Sheffield and it says United - Liverpool.

United is always Manchester United, unless specified. Just like "the Reds" are always Liverpool, think United used it but later on settled for Red Devils, sorry United. =p

Good ask though Hhampuz, I was confused a lot before I got familiar too, and a reminder to kick Cro2 in the ass to be more specific.

Should be manageable without too much pressure.
Damn, you did it quite well and I guess you are the only one from this forum who is able to get that close for the 100/100 prize.

Yeah, Trofo man, keeping the representation! I've proven to be seriously deficient in submitting all the picks needed for these challenges. Superbru's the only one I can hammer in on time, for some reason I guess it's easier to keep track of but that's also perhaps because it's a routine for 4 seasons now.

Very good reward for persistence, and I deserve what I get in the end heh. Though the $10k is still in play, of course..!

Hey everyone, was the weekend good for you? Just got back myself from St Mary's in Southampton trying to squeeze out every bit of joy from another round of Beers with Steve -- likely his last Beers edition with the Saints this season.

Nothing as exciting as with the rest of the gang in Talinn from the stories being shared (LFC_Bitcoin lends extra meaning to the word Legendary) but very good football, plenty of beers, and great to meet up crypto people anyway!

Apologies missing the photo opp with legends, somehow I forgot to take one. But enjoy prekickoff audio =D

Lost money of course; I thought they'd win, and were winning for most of the game, dominating the first half but letting in a lot of chances to their box as the game wore on. Bednarek's a better keeper I feel, the guy Bazunu standing in I think fumbled 4 or 5 times? Stadium was popping -- Saints had to postpone 2 games owing to a fire just outside the grounds so people were just impatient after 20 days without football, but they've got a crazy schedule over the next 3 weeks, a game every 2 or 3 days. Tough one to see if they'll make promotion!
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: April 01, 2024, 03:10:54 PM
Come on boys! Even though I had a chance to win a prize in the main league I joined the second chance league. Having different things to play is always nice. On top of that don't forget that there are names such as Igebotz, buwaytress who don't know how to play in this league. It shouldn't be very difficult to take their money. Cheesy

Are you guys enjoying your free money from us idiots yet? cryptofrka biggest loser, getting so many points and missing out on our league. And silly little me sitting down at the bottom. Was there ever going to be any other outcome?

Or is this the hustler move I'm not known to pull off?

My bad luck about Watkins injury, not sure who to replace him with so am going to keep him on anyway. Hate these hamstrings, you can't tell if it's short-term or not.

Nice going panjul07 and roycilik, now I know you guys are serious gamblers, I'll be harassing you more for pools next season haha. Enjoy the winnings, spend them all in one place Wink

I'm out on my Bracket Challenge, David. 63 points at this stage a far, far cry from the impressive 87 points by the current leader. That'll teach me... or it won't.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: March 31, 2024, 04:56:31 PM
Don't get your hopes up just yet, stuff like that is notoriously difficult to implement and get it right. And when we start talking odds than you actually have sportsbook and we are not trying to replace that, we are trying to offer something unique.

We are talking about new things all the times and looking what we can bring to the table that hasn't been seen yet. Should be something special up for EURO at least if don't add something new to BSFL before than Cool

We discussed it multiple times, it's really hard. All things must be taken into consideration, for example if we implement it, every round should have one.
I was also thinking about some kind of 'home advantage' a lot, but considering how the league is set up (there are 15 games) there's always someone at a disadvantage.

We are constantly discussing stuff but we need to be really careful not to introduce something that is broken or unfair.

100%. I already trialled internally one or two new systems and the amount of complications at both side (managing and coding for automation is actually simple, but trying to predict the 100 different ways users can fill it in wrong, or misunderstand the rules, or even consider it fair -- that's the real challenge. And difficult to implement/insert into an existing format.

Don't worry, no expectations. I know how difficult it already is for Cro2. Mafia or no mafia.

Good win for my guys. You lost the chance of win some Argentinian Pesos Tongue

Anyways im doing good this round here, but in the pools was a bloodbath for me.

Bastardo, enjoy your Sunday.

Napoli, Chelsea, Bayerm, Porto, Manutd all dropping drop points- a good week for buwaytress I guess.

Usually, yes. but BVB odds weren't even 4/1, neither Atalanta... and since I don't bet on draws, I actually lose Chelsea and United haha. Story of my life this season. I really need to consider just putting a brake on it all until next season.
252  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 31, 2024, 04:22:21 PM
It started perfectly for me with Isak, Wood and Solanke delivering. At that moment I hoped I will be in the run for 10k price but than happened Watkins blank/injury and later Hojlund even put a stop to hope for nice free bet.

I will take any points Salah and Haaland get since each one counts towards that 100 and 1k.

And duly fulfilled. Salah's now 25+ goals+assists for a seventh consecutive season. And that's actually with always a quarter of every season either away or injured. It's actually quite criminal how even I'm taking that for granted now. And how we'll miss him when he leaves. Yeah, when, not if.

How far are you now from 100? No need to ask me, I'm not even 50.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 31, 2024, 03:04:36 PM
Palmer for me but no way he wins. They ought to do an MVP... hate the Americanism but you need an award for guy who carries his team the most. Maybe the most objective is points won for team in a season though Palmer may not actually even be in contention for that.

Maybe Nunez? Ha ha ha.

Missed the entire game but don't care. Now for a perfect City Arsenal draw!

Man, it hurts doesn't it? To see a 7-goal thriller, and get nothing out of it, particularly when Bowen and Isak were part of my usual picks for MajSev. Madness on the others, if anyone picked Mateta and Tahith Chong (is that now 6 prem league goals already?!) they deserve a medal. Can't be helped, if you can't choose both, of course, but now I'm starting to doubt my other picks. Just have to let it ride, and see Sunday through.

Salah's the only true shoo-in, but dare I jinx him?
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: March 30, 2024, 05:23:34 PM
Georgian Maradona got too high after beating Greece, not sure if he played, but I just saw Atalanta crushed Napoli. Congratulations darxiaomi, you deserve all 3 points and I deserve nothing. What a dire season this is turning out to be for me, hm.

I like Trofo's idea of adding "weight" based on odds. More incentive for players to take risk, means more exciting outcomes. Have a feeling it will mean even heavier defeats for me though heh.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 30, 2024, 02:53:18 PM
Hammers were likely the team I thought were the best-positioned for an upset, and for most of the game looked the part. Usually it's Toons who let go like this but they showed a different side and smashed in all 3 points at the end.

City have to win this one but I wondered if Saka-less (a possibility) Gunners could smash and grab. My money's all gone already, though, unsurprisingly so I'm sitting out the rest of the weekend...

After remembering several weeks in a row, I needed this reminder to ensure I don't miss my freebet chance so thanks cygan! Yes, that's right, I said freebet only because I know it's pointless to hope for miracles and get into prize spots this late in the season.

Leverkusen, it's a done deal, isn't it? Only point of contention is whether or not they do it flawlessly. Would love BVB to help them on their way.

Hello sweet people. Or bastardos. Don't forget Cadiz tonight. My buway tip of the day. Cadiz win to nil. Afraid to win? Then simple Cadiz ML takes 2.10 with a sweet, sweet Sportsbet boost.

You're welcome.

And also, to be honest, I think EUR 10,000 is a fair limit per transaction to impose some sort of KYC.

I actually agree. I think anyone moving around that much money must be subject to greater good reasoning. Yes, privacy, I know, but my liberal side doth argue that the benefit of accountability for the wealthy outweigh their need for privacy -- besides they can afford much more privacy than the little guy who can only access some tools. I mean, if I were lucky enough to be transacting 10k often, I'd be happy for them to KYC me on each (here, have my ID you already have anyway, f you very much).

Thank god for Bitcoin.

Happy Easter weekend, everyone!

I don’t know if I’m the only interested in catching Zverev vs Marozsan tennis match live, I’ve spoken about the young lad a couple of times, he’s an interesting player and I think he should be able to stuck around for a while especially if he’s able to rack up a couple of ATP points that would have not to needing to go through series of qualifiers to play even in an ATP 500 event.

Interested in the result as I needed that kid to win to beat darxiaomi. Too bad he lost -- he from your country or you just follow tennis closely? I now need Napoli to do their job Saturday afternoon, otherwise game over before Sunday.

I still hold the record for the fastest round against buwaytress - our round lasted only 24hrs I remember.

Was it against you? I think the record win/lose was even quicker. It was only several hours after the deadline. I'm not even sure now if it was our round, but yeah ours was over before we even really got started. Premature um finish.
