241  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: July 19, 2019, 09:38:43 PM
The diversion in currency is based on different countries and governments. In every country/government there is a certain currency, in order to have a global currency, there should be no differences and barriers between countries thus there should also be one government to avoid conflicts. In my opinion, if these happen, one government and one currency, being internet based of this one currency will still be relevant, since there are transactions made online like sending and receiving money from one location to another, online shopping and other payments made online and other related transactions.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays Slams Shitcoins! on: July 19, 2019, 09:26:39 PM
Maybe he’s right. I don’t under estimate altcoins since there are those that really have good value and been tested but let us not deny that majority are really shit-coins. He may just be seeing and predicting the possible outcome of all altcoins in the future. Well, altcoin lovers should not be affected with his opinion, he’s just given his own point of view and should not be taken to heart personally.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank to released "Stable Coin" on: July 19, 2019, 09:17:43 PM
I am not surprise about this, many banks already have their profit shrink and need new products to drive growth and it won't be a bad idea to bet on crypto, do you how many banks in the space that would love to swap position with Binance, when compared to the quarterly profit
Agree here. They must think of new ways to be able to ride on or go with the flow or else they will be left out bankrupted. If the attacks they are doing on crypto does not give them anything at all then they must think of other way. If negative won’t work try the positive one. Well, good luck to Union bank, this step will be good both for them and for bitcoin. People out there who are not aware about cryptocurrency and have not tried yet will be awaken and this news will give them enthusiasm somehow.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: July 19, 2019, 09:08:05 PM
In my opinion, hardcap an ICO becomes a benchmark if the project is successful. indeed the location of the success of a project is not only based on the ICO hardcap, but there are still other factors that determine a project will succeed.
Hardcap reached in ICOs makes only ICOs successful for reaching their target amount for raising funds but it doesn’t give any guarantee that the project behind the ICO will indeed be successful. It still depends on the reachability of their goals and plans and on how the developers work.
245  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [TOKPIE] Gawing Totoo ang iyong Pangarap 💣💣💣[Bounty Stakes Trading]💣💣💣 on: July 19, 2019, 08:52:28 PM
247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do high-paying campaigns pose a threat to the community? on: July 14, 2019, 10:32:25 PM
I would say high paying campaigns pose a threat to their participants and not exactly to the community. It endangers bounty participants since to be paid per post is becoming a bait for moderators to impose penalty on participants for spamming the forum. Who doesn’t want to be paid more? No one so everyone is trying to get as much as they can without minding what they are posting and at the end they are the ones being hooked by moderators.
248  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Meron pa bang matinong bounty? on: July 14, 2019, 10:19:52 PM

Last na nasalihan ko was Evident Proof bounty last year, eth yung payment sa bounty hunters last November pa and nag-distribute naman sila.

249  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoin Bounty Hunter on: July 14, 2019, 10:13:32 PM
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 14, 2019, 10:08:40 PM
True. Sometimes you’ve already spent half of the whole bounty term and suddenly you happen to stumble to another project that seems better than the one you are currently promoting and without thinking twice you just apply for the new one and leave what you’ve worked for quite long and to your disappointment the one you’ve exchanged to the previous one turned out to be a scam and you saw the previous project to be booming already. That is discontentment somehow.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments against privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies on: July 14, 2019, 09:48:03 PM
We can see that the future for cryptocurrency is getting dimmer. If governments try to terminate privacy coin because they will not be able to have their share of tax from it, tightly regulating public coins like bitcoin and ethereum will also be making it hard for investors. It will also be killing public coins little by little and making it difficult for investors to cope up with and for crypto exchanges to comply with those regulations, thus resulting to more and more exchanges shutting down.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 13, 2019, 12:44:04 PM
I haven’t read his tweet but I’ve read in a similar thread in different board that he said he dislikes bitcoin or cryptocurrency, well it doesn’t make big sense if one doesn’t like crypto. A lot of people do not like bitcoin but it didn’t stop bitcoin from going forward and becoming even more stronger. Just because he is a president of a powerful country doesn’t mean he can already influence people’s decision on a certain matter.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 13, 2019, 12:25:47 PM
The purpose and objective of KYC is to prevent fraud, money laundering and to imply the security measures which is necessary for both users and the gambling site. It will benefit us though it sometimes causes us hassle. It's important for the monitoring of legit transactions as well.
Yea its granted and understood that it is to prevent money laundering but in a gambling site, I thought  about additional safety measure for the owner like to prove if the player is having the right age to play the game because it involves money. This is a gambling site’s responsibility to make sure about this matter too to prevent problems and regret in the future.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 13, 2019, 12:18:46 PM
I agree on what @ellen adarna said  . positive thinking really attracts luck . that is what the elders said and that is what i also read on the qoutes online  . thats why i kept on believing on it   . there is no harm in believing anyways , so why not think positive all the time ?  And besides having a positive mindset can also make you feel happy and stress free  even if you are loosing the game  .

I think all gamblers want to win and they think according to what they want. One cannot think he will lose and still continue on playing because he will be contradicting his own desire so if all gamblers think positively how come that not all wins? If all the players apply the law of attraction in lets say one round, will it make all of them win? I don’t believe in this. No one holds the key in his own hands or mind in winning, its all plain luck or chances.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: July 13, 2019, 10:33:57 AM
I’m so sorry for your situation and for what your brother did. Well, it is not yet the end of the world, as long as there is tomorrow there is still hope. I believe that your brother didn’t do it for the purpose of hurting your family specially your sister and mom but probably he somehow wanted to end the sufferings of the whole family for good so he tried to put the family’s money into risk and he did lost it. He just made a wrong approach that made him lose the money which is intended for your sister’s treatment. Don’t give up folk, tomorrow maybe a better day for you and your family.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 11, 2019, 09:03:29 PM
In one area he is quite credible if he himself trusts the project and does invests but if he is just paid to promote the project then he has nothing to do with it. Usually members that post announcement threads are just in lower ranks except bounty managers of course that are in higher ranks already but it doesn’t guarantee anything you should find yourself if the project is legit or not.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking decisions on: July 11, 2019, 08:38:37 PM
Well, you are right. Better make own decision so when you fail you will not be blaming others. Only weak people rely on other people’s decision and when they fail they almost eat the person for the said decision. If you decide on your own whether you fail or succeed you are developing yourself. You are learning and you are getting wisdom but it is also a pride not to consider successful people’s advice. Successful people are more credible in giving advice than just hearers.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Changing the rules in the End of the Bounty Campaign is a form of Abuse on: July 11, 2019, 08:24:28 PM
It is indeed disgusting. I happened to be a victim once by this kind of unfairness. What happened was the first bounty manager was fired and they gave it to someone else who was so inexperienced and had no knowledge about handling bounties. He jumbled percentage of payment to all areas according to his own decision and everyone who complains will be kicked out from the channel and not be paid. This one is something else but to just change the rules for no reason but to favor the pocket of the bounty manager, that is an absolute cheating.
259  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-11] Bitcoin’s Rise Reflects Growing Opportunity for Crypto Exchanges on: July 11, 2019, 08:16:52 PM

All this trading activity leaves us with one question, why were fiat investors initially reluctant to get on board with cryptocurrency?[/i]
My opinion, probably ignorance to some about cryptocurrency and another is they don’t trust it because it is not backed by banks and governments. Because there are no solid regulations imposed on cryptocurrencies in some countries so they’re afraid of losing their money and be scammed. There could be some other reasons but these are just what I thought about.
260  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: trading and selling crypto is illegal. bank wants to know source of income on: July 11, 2019, 07:48:19 PM
bank questions for the source of income
i told them it from selling crypto and masternodes
they say it is illegal
so how to trick them into believing that the source of income is legitimate?
they asked for screenshots

they are about to close the account

.........
bank does not approve of transactions related to cryptocurrency, as they carry the risk of generating income through illegal operations.

Please send us documentation which confirm what source of funds was invested to cryptocurrency and the statement from the platform where we can see that your funds were invested and then the cryptocurrency was sold out.
Actually bank requires proof of source of the money you are depositing or transferring if it exceeds certain amount even in fiat and not just in cryptocurrency. When I deposited $1000 in my account they immediately ask for any document that will prove where did I get the money. It’s sad with cryptocurrency and we know they are going to be more and more tight when making transactions with it. Banks suck, i wish there could be ways where bank will not be needed at all.
