Sure! And i have seen a flying horse right out of my house talking about football with a cat. Burst crashes on C-Cex.  Well. If you're not a newbie: -3 millions+ coin mined every day -2 billions coins total -No investor -Only miner -Millions of burst on c-cex deposit. You always go with the flow, do you? As they say, misery loves company. Negative people will try to bring down positive people. The problem is people listen to people like IE, Bobsurplus, etc....Strange the few can motivate the many to do things that are illogical and rash actions. People forget to trust their own wisdom and become followers to the wrong people/cause. As far as the price is going down, we can only blame us for pushing it down like that, no excuses. You know how the crypto world goes, there can be 100 billion coins and people can hype a coins price without any real reason/ideal. So, this BS of people making a big deal about the minting of the coin per day, then why is DOGE and REDD still around. Both are doing ok still with their larger amount of coins. My advise, if your here to dump, then dump and leave this thread with your negative comments/ideals. I really don't understand why you people like to stroke your ego when you so call predict a coins lower prices/downfall, your not Nostradamus. So, stop with thinking your some professional economist/stock broker, because that wouldn't fly in the Stock Market with rumors/FUD. agreed. |

Burst crashes on C-Cex. Market cap is just stagnating is all. Now is the time to look to features. The worst thing to do is panic. Just relax, make a TA of the charts, and plan out your next trade. but, but... This makes me want to PANIC!!!!! xD |

Attempting to install miner on osx through terminal, after running sh run_dump_address.sh I get the following error:
MacBook-Pro:pocminer_v1 K$ sh run_dump_address.sh
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: pocminer/POCMiner : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
Could you explain what I need to do to get around this?
Just a guess here, but try updating your java, install the JRE. just search JRE download in google, first result. |

Hey guys. I have received 45k BURST so far for the multipool.
For those wondering how I lost my coin.... Well... I was using my touchscreen phone and the screen misclicked sell on an order at 300 sats. Since CCEX has no damn second confirmation... It dumped them between 450-500 sats, even after holding them from 160 to 1200 and all the way back down.
I'm very upset about it. But I will remain active in the community, at least until I can get your multipool up. I would like to buy back in, but it will be hard to get over a mil at 480ish sats...
So anyway, I would like to get the remaining 15k before letting the multipool guy go to town. I offered 5k of my own coin which I will have to buy on the exchange for now =\
Like I said, I will send you 5k to help you get started again, and you can use it how you please, what address should I send it to? Thanks a lot man I appreciate it. Would people be interested in a service where you can buy pre-plotted external hard drives with a one-click miner?
why not cloud mining, just rent couple TB, for any period of time Already providing that (0.045BTC/TB for setup + one month, then 0.0225BTC/TB a month after), but some people would probably prefer to outright own the hardware if they're looking for long-term BURST mining. cool, i have a nice idea to mix PoC with PoW first we do read plot as PoC, then we are idle right? then during that idle time, we are generating more plots on the fly using GPU, just like on GPU PoW mining thats like adding extra GB over your plot without need any disk space at all but i am not sure how much GB, GPU can generate per seconds I believe someone did a preliminary test and got the equivalent of 35GB per 4-minute period, so effectively 35GB per block on a high-end GPU, which drew somewhere around 200+ W at the wall. so it basically wouldn't be worth it. Not for the extra power usage. |

I will build a burst multipool. I have already registered the domain name. However, I am travelling for the day to BC (driving about 10 hours) but from the hotel tonight I will get at least a beta version of it up and running.
I need a couple things from the community though.
a) I'd like a commitment to give me at least 72 hours to get the pool up and running. Like I said, I am travelling with work and I don't want to have to be in some stupid competition to get a half-done pool operational before some other lame pool operator. I have a proven track record of producing working pools for other coins. We can set my deadline as being saturday evening PST.
b) I need logos and images and stuff related to burst, as well as an official color scheme (if one exists) - if there are any graphics designers who have done any work with this coin, please pm me with what you have.

would someone listen to me... i will tell you my story, how i Lost 50K burst while developing http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io, do you know that javascript implementation of integer is 56-bit !? really... its 56-bit ! so what't the problem with 56-bit ? did you know that burst account number is encoded in 64-bit integer, then if you do parseInt(accountId), you lost last Byte of account ID, and when payment was made, it was sent to stupid address ! stupid address with zero byte on the last accountId bytes... sigh 50 K is 5 block i solo-mined dude ! that blockchain explorer is a piece of art. what are your other development plans? i posted it .... here it is so here is our next plan

Right now we are working on all-in-one downloader, plotter, miner, wallet GUI controller. It's a controller for current stuff released, GUI. I will post screenshots probably tomorrow, as the dev friend I am working with on this is out sick today. I also need to inform him of the windows plotter that's faster, so we can include that. |

I know from experience that a shoddy multipool will cause more problems than it is worth. Go with this guy. bump if someone can ask the coin dev if he's cool with this, pm me please leaving to drive to BC now I will make sure the dev sees this, as I'm sure a few others will as well. i've set up pools for XC, BTCD, Cinnicoin, CAIx in the past - all of them usually languish with like less than 15 miners after only a few days.
the pool would be a custom one similar to hashrate.org
I am pretty sure the pool will be used, I for one will put my ants, my GPUs, and my other miners on it. |
