then start the huntercoin-qt but it will not accept Blockchain it always starts download the Blockchain from the network 108 weeks
any other ideas to help me out
Try to unzip with something besides the the built in windows unzipper thing. Use 7zip for instance. The built in windows unzipper has some issues with really big zips.

Me three, sent a test TX of ~15k and never showed up at cryptopia. Glad I didn't send more.

More likely than not, any other coin gets a better return for GPU mining at this point, unless you're hodling.
...
Decred has been really profitable lately. I've been mining and selling about half, and I think just with the btc I get from selling half it's still more profitable than like anything else. Seems unsustainable, but hey, nice while it lasts.

I'm running a node for the IRC/reddit bot. I'll see about adding an electrum server to it when I get some time, hopefully this weekend.

... I wouldn't trust a project that relies on me to succeed.
Lol, now that's the sort of can-do attitude that will "Make America Great Again". Ask not what Monero can do for you, ask if you possess the mental faculties to construct coherent sentences. or maybe... Ask not what Monero can do for you, ask if you can get fries with that.

Was Horizon removed? If so, why? Thanks.
I'm guessing because OP is only interested in shilling Blackcoin and/or Unobtainium. This thread is a joke, and if you want to dictate the conversation, OP, you need to start a self-moderated thread.

UIS is #1 on Cryptopia voting now and only 14h to go!
Let's watch that space and get UIS listed!
We did it! UIS has won the voting on Cryptopia, thanks to everybody who voted! Soon UIS again will have an exchange where to trade. Just saw. Not my favorite exchange by far, but probably not the most worstest either. I'll try to send a little BTC and some UIS to put up some buy and sell orders when they get the market up.

... What evidence? That Keccak was sponsored by NSA? So was SHA256. That the original devs are unknown? So is Bitcoin's dev(s). Do you have any actual evidence, or just tinfoil hat speculation?
There was a very scholarly site by some Russians, Cryptobang I think it was called, that laid out a compelling case. The site is gone but you can find copies of it I think. I understand that there are two sides to surveillance issues, and I understand both sides are sincere. I am in coins to make money, at this point, and with my very limited, i.e., near zero, knowledge of cryptography, and the takeaway from the cryptobang article, defending cryptonote is a high bar. Those were basically the only two points from the cryptobang article. It's mirrored here: https://criticl.me/post/what-nsa-created-cryptonote-2292It's not scholarly at all. There's no references, and they make no legitimate arguments (unless I'm missing them and you would like to point them out). Monero is one of the only alt coins to be praised and/or used by Bitcoin core developers: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/46gfgv/list_of_prominent_bitcoin_people_that_spoke/Are you saying that Greg Maxwell, Wladimir J. van der Laan, Peter Todd, Andrew Poelstra, Nicolas Courtois, and Theymos are all under the influence of alphabet soup organizations?
|
|
|
... Some people believe there is compelling evidence that cryptonote was developed by some alphabet soup agency. The evidence convinces me that it is likely.
I drop the discussion unless it's supporters want to push.

In my opinion there is enough question about cryptonote's origin to disqualify it as an 'ethical' coin. People should do their own research, as you say.
Are there more or less questions about Bitcoin's origin? What a load of shit. Also, putting Blackcoin on there, a clone coin that had a 1 week PoW phase so dev could instamine the shit out of it then switch over to PoS - sounds really "ethical".

jl777 has finally decided to get a divorce from NXT. This might be a great opportunity for Qora. Can the dev team reach out to jl777 and work with him on his asset passport idea? ...
This guy is the king of vaporware and bullshit assets associated with such. I hope he stays far away from Qora. And may I ask what projects you have coded/released.........I'm reluctant to be critical of those who do what I cannot. Cheers Jon He hasn't actually released anything afaik except a shitty GUI for the NXT dex. I've actually made several shitty GUIs myself: https://github.com/jwinterm/lightWallethttps://github.com/jwinterm/kivy-cpuminerhttps://github.com/jwinterm/LightWallet2His main thing is making clone coins and NXT assets, promising some revolutionary tech to hype it, then never delivering. Don't sell yourself short, you can be a scam artist too

Monero.
Because? ... Lisk ...
Why does Lisk not have a CoinMarketCap page? Monero because it is the best privacy oriented coin with the fairest launch that still has a lot of features in the works, such as i2p integration, pruning, confidential ring signature txs, and more. Lisk is a fork of Crypti that is about to launch an ICO. It's pretty scammy IMO, Crypti had an ICO, now same devs are forking it and running another ICO, wtf?

What was the hashfast fiasco about anyway?
Preorder asics that were never delivered. Cypherdoc has been accused of receiving 3000 btc to shill for them on btctalk to get people to make orders. iCEBREAKER has also been accused of being paid to shill or being in some way affiliated with the company, but I haven't seen as direct and specific accusation as has been levied against cypherdoc.
|
|
|
...
This community is so "polluted" ... iCEBRAKER was a former CEO of Hashfast, criminal ASIC scammer with a lawsuit in progress. No wonder he's all-in in Monero, he had to 'wash' his stolen bitcoins... It's kind of interesting that iCEBREAKER was apparently mixed up in this scam ( http://www.deanslyons.com/PDFs/2014-03-25-Plaintiff-s-First-Amended-Petition.pdf ; interesting aside - who'd have thought you'd see bitcointalk screenshots in court proceedings) with cypherdoc, and subsequently they each ended up on opposite sides of the big block/small block bitcoin debate. Since they were both allegedly paid shills for hashfast, maybe blockstream is now paying iCEBREAKER for shilling and coinbase is paying cypherdoc to shill blocksize arguments. Who knows, maybe fluffypony is paying iCEBREAKER for shilling Monero
