I think it's quite amazing that Litecoin is still on top in terms of marketcap, still seems to be an all time favourite among traders after all these years. Even Dash and Monero have recently dropped out of the top 10, being replaced by tokens that were previously unknown to most people, like Cardano etc.
Don't forget that many people are now also using Litecoin to escape Bitcoin's high fees and slow confirmation times. The future is definitely looking bright for Litecoin.

Freebitco.in is the website you're looking for.
I also like freebitco.in it is easy and you can get free tickets as well. Also i do not think it is a scam as i was able to deposit and widthraw my bitcoin without any hassle. I also known people who won from it although ido not know anyone who won the jackpot. Yeah but the amount of bots make it impossible for regular users like you and I to ever win any jackpots.Look at the amount of tickets,do you think it's is very possible to win a lottery with 0% chances of winning with two tickets ? People use bots to buy tickets with different accounts which increases their chances from the total pool. I didn't even realize that people are using bots to play there, though it's not that surprising when I think about it. And yeah, your chances are basically 0% or 0.0001% if you have a couple of tickets. After reading some of the replies on this thread, I'll just stick to the Crypto-Games one, all others mentioned just don't have the same great chances of winning. Unless someone comes up with another good one.

There are many stories like this, I remember a guy who threw away his hard-drive that had 7500 Bitcoins on it. He tried to get permission to go to the landfill to try and find his HD, but the counsil didn't allow it. So there's a hard drive with 7500 Bitcoins on a landfill somewhere, slowly decaying. Here's a link to the story: http://www.wired.co.uk/article/bitcoin-lost-newport-landfill

Great work putting this topic together OP, you've clearly put a lot of work into this and the information presented is very useful to have in one place. To be honest I hate this trend and I think that such kind of projects cast a shadow over the whole crypto market so I just cant support any of them.
How so? I think there are some really interesting coins listed here, I'm glad that some of them actually have ties to the legal marijuana industry instead of just being a proof of concept. Or are you just against marijuana in general, legal or not?

When I'm on a pretty big losing streak, I've formed the habit of just quitting to gamble for the rest of the day, if I wouldn't do that I'd probably continue racking up the losses. I just set a limit of how much I want to gamble and I make sure that I don't go over that limit.
I know it can be pretty frustrating zhen you're on a losing streak, just because you at least want to win a couple of times, but it's important that you recognize when you've gambled enough.

What error message are you getting when you try to accelerate with ViaBTC?
If you have control over the address that you've sent the BTC to, you can also get it to confirm faster through CPFP (child pays for parent). It's really simple, you make another transaction with those unconfirmed funds and add a higher fee. The original transaction will get confirmed faster as well.
Using CPFP is more expensive though than just adding more fees to the existing transaction.

I definitely understand where you're coming from... When the average Bitcoin user tries to make a transaction and suddenly sees that he would have to pay 20 or 30 dollars worth of BTC in fees, it's understandable that they'd rather use fiat.
I don't care too much about these higher fees, I'm already using Segwit addresses, which reduces the amount of fees I have to pay, and I don't mind waiting an hour for confirmations, so I usually add a lower fee anyway. Even when using 150 satoshis/byte, my transactions get through eventually.

The main question I have about this and projects like the million dollar homepage is, how do do advertisers get any value out of advertising on your website? I really doubt that your website would even be visited by potential customers for the people who would be buying advertisements.
Aside from building a house that's plastered with advertisements, there doesn't seem to be any other functionality that makes this experience even remotely fun imo.

I have own site but because of lack of money, i was not able to run my site. Then I planned to sell my script with around 700$+ but I saw no one is interested to buy my site. Is my site is not worth to bid any amount on the script? Clink on my site xdice.io
My two cents with the opening page, there is nothing there, you do not know what type of website you are logging it to. I do not think unless you are a trusted website they would be willing right away register their email address. I know your website title has dice - bitcoin casino and a bitcoin logo but they need to see what their going in to. You should put something on the registration page. Maybe a GIF or a jpeg of what they can do. You may also try to put a sample games where they can play before registration. Yeah this is the main problem, you need to register to be able to have a look at the website. And looking at the home page, it doesn't really look like anything special to me, I would personally not pay 700 dollars for a site like this, there are better and cheaper scripts out there. He doesn't need to put 'something' on that first page, he should just make it possible to play without an account.

I'm just going to comment on the article, since your blog is obviously not finished.
The article is actually quite good and informative, I mean it's what I'd expect from an article explaining Bitcoin. I'm just worried that the content isn't actually original enough, I think there must be thousands of similar articles with exactly the same title.
You can obviously write, but try to find some subjects to write about that are a bit less 'general'. If you have some really unique stories or tutorials, you will get a lot more visitors.
I hope my input helps a little bit.

A lot of these problems are currently caused because Bitcoin got a lot more popular in these last couple of months. I think that a solution would be for exchanges to temporarily close registrations until they can handle the influx of new users.
Another thing I'm a bit worried about is that some coinbase do not get their deposits credited, even after waiting months for it and contacting support several times.

Yeah, I don't see this happening any time soon and your title is pretty misleading, as other have mentioned. Bitcoin is still far too volatile for a central bank to invest 1% into it, won't happen any time soon.
He wasn't even talking about the Ghanese central bank in particular, but mentioned 'African banks'.

If you could share you wallet address, we could have a look. It might be possible to use a lower fee and wait a little bit longer to get your transaction confirmed, but you'd have to know what the transaction size would be and see how much fees you can add to get it confirmed in the next 20 blocks or so.

Good day for roulette players last 24 hours >> almost 13 BTC profit
I wish I was among the lucky ones, have been playing roulette a lot lately, but in my case, I keep losing ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) It's also getting a bit expensive to play roulette with BTC, especially if you like to bet on many numbers.

I'd go for a casino that supports multiple coins and an in-built exchange system, so you don't have to transfer BTC only (can be very expensive with current fee), if you decide to deposit and gamble.
But if you're looking for faucets only, you can try any casino with faucets, because faucets are about the same when you're a new player. Most sites have leveling systems where you can work yourself up and increase your faucets.
For the first part of my post, I'd go for Crypto-Games.net. There are multiple coins and an in-built exchange system, so you can deposit supported coins and use the exchange to convert to BTC if you prefer to gamble with BTC. Many ways to avoid the huge bitcoin fees.
Yeah I'd recommend them too, their faucets are probably the highest of all Bitcoin casino's and it's not impossible to even reach a payout with them. Have done so many times myself. It's also very easy to level up your faucets, even without having to wager anything, you can just level it up by being active or talking in chat (not spamming).

Are there any precedents for this kind of case? I would definitely like to know if this has happened before and what the court ruled in those cases. It does seem like Giga Watt is completely in the wrong here, I mean they haven't even issued tokens after a whole year? The plaintiffs claim to have contributed around $20 million in cryptocurrency to the Giga Watt ICO last summer. That cryptocurrency is now worth five times as much, but investors have nothing to show for it: no crypto, no Giga Watt tokens, and none of the mining equipment that was meant to be supplied. On the other hand, these people should have known what they were getting into. It's kinda useless to complain now just because 'cryptocurrencies' have increased in value, sounds pretty pathetic tbh.

The only exchanges in that list that I have experience with are Binance and Yobit, I have not even heard about most of the other exchanges you've listed. I think both Binance and Yobit are trustworthy, but I personally don't like their interface too much.
I'm currently mostly using Kraken, Bittrex and Poloniex.

Fantastic. Now I have the option to automatically pay 10% more of the products' value in mining fees in yet another store. While on paper it's good news for Bitcoin, I don't think anyone is going to buy from them or anyone else using it at this point.
I have to agree that they chose a pretty weird time to start accepting Bitcoin, people have been asking them to accept it since 2014, if I remember correctly. Still, I think there will be enough people who'd still buy a laptop there using Bitcoin, you can also use a segwit address and pay significantly less fees. Also when buying a laptop, you can just pay a bit less fees and have your transaction confirm a bit later, a few extra hours doesn't matter too much imo.

It is good news but it looks like System76 is a small local company or am I wrong ?
They're serving a niche market, I mean I can't imagine that there's a lot of demand for Linux laptops in general. They do ship worldwide and among Linux enthusiast they're pretty well known for their quality products. They still have 21 employees, so it's not a tiny company, not big either.
