Dude put me on Z-Pak for 5 days (antibiotic), Albuterol inhaler, and QVAR inhaler corticosteroid to reduce inflamation. Platelet counts are higher than normal, likely due to fighting off the infections, but seeing a hematologist some-time this week to get the official rundown - Currently taking baby asprin every morning to thin my blood out a bit in the meantime.

im sure your hematologist should be on top of this but blood thinners are very picky as to doses and such (dunno if youre on any but you mentioned thinning your blood). make sure your MD know ALL meds even OTC stuff you may not think of as drugs. im sure you know this but i have to say it anyway.

Getting old fucking sucks.

oh man. indeed it does.

Regarding my walls of text, I agree.  Sometimes it is better to just skip them or skim them.... depending on your mood and level of patience.

i just HAD to quote this for posterity.

the real surgical strikes will be when we all have implants in our bodies inserted at birth - or anytime (((they))) want really. then, just need the weapon to target that implants ID. snimple.

implants not needed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CO6M2HsoIA

yeah saw that a while back. looks kinda contrived... firing live autonomous target seeking munitions in an auditorium full of people. uuuh, ok.

unless it was meant to be a "demo" or something. just gave a quick look.

but the premise is sound. those things will be around. if they arent already..

looks like the shi'ite is hitting the proverbial mower blade ...

... i'm kind of ambivalent about nation state political/military leaders assassinating other nation state political/military leaders ... maybe with these hyper-surgical drone strikes they can just start 'terminating' each other (start with intelligence agency heads and the most war-like hawk generals first please) and then leave all the rest of us the fuck alone ... if they all chopped each others heads off then peaceful anarchy will be allowed to flourish without the psychopaths continuosly usurping authority and messing everything up for everyone else, that would be a perfect war, politicians, intel heads and generals die first, thnx.

tl;dr ...don't be afraid of the lawn mower blade, tallest poppies go first and the termites will be feasting on each other.

the real surgical strikes will be when we all have implants in our bodies inserted at birth - or anytime (((they))) want really. then, just need the weapon to target that implants ID. snimple.

2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving, who's closest with actual Nrs TAKE A CHANCE on the LIST !!! on: January 05, 2020, 01:34:44 PM
Damn 4 players that won before all gone with lower-ish prices... where are all the other previous winners ??

How quickly 6K's becomes seen as a low price Wink
Not too fast, not too soon.  You know, 7K  IS the moon had we never been in the 20K bubble. It was only a few years ago that we were buying full coins for 1K and less, in a few more years it will be the same.

EDIT: this post not directed at anyone in particular, it just reminded me of the following. mic, if its off topic,  shoot me a pm or whatnot and ill delete it.

a few years ago (well more like 5ish) i mined coins for ~$2 USD. and it didnt take long for its value to shoot up once it started its roll. just need good seat belts for the ride, unless holding on with finger and toenails is your thing.

TL;DR honey badger does whatever it wants, in whatever timeframe it wants, for no particular reason other than.... its what honey badgers do. you know, cuz its fun for them.

so, pick a number, any number. maybe the honey badger will smile on you.

    happy new year!!
    2020.... year of...?
2020-2021:

* Bob buys a ranch and a couple of luxurious rides, Rick retires
* LFC_Bicoin sells his biz and buys a mansion and lambo full of blow
* Mic and cryptoqueeen leave on endless gastrotour around the world
* JJG buys a whole human body transplant and becomes the first online bot to be transformed to a cyborg?  Grin just kiddin no offence man
* roach marries gembitz and they live happily ever after  Cool
etc etc etc

yea edited my post slightly as i was typing it (autosave sometimes bombs).

JJG bot needs upgraded systems. ive notice changes, maybe JJG should roll back a few software versions.

any changes to the date "FU JJG" day of week? i want a 100% success rate on doing the FU JJG thing this year. its my only  new years resolution.[/list]
2451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 01, 2020, 02:23:11 PM
    happy new year!!

and "see ya" to 2019.. only ~2x gainz?Huh?  <---- the year of "meh." was hoping $12k USD for the end of 2019 at least.

    2020.... year of...?

    * the CSW clownshow goes on.. with predicable results (zero).. popcorn sales are through the roof

    * glembiz post "weeeee" 700 more times

    * favorite trolls settle in for a long year and buy better bots

    * Bob designs and build a 25,000 pound hydraulic press; his latest contribution to testicular conditioning. unsure of its production status. or its survival rate.

    * JJG petitions websters unabridged dictionary to include thousands of new words, as JJG seems to be running low on words (comparatively)

    * and the honey badger continues to does whatever the fuck it wants. and thats the only sure thing in 2020

    EDIT: added some items

Happy Preemptive New Years WOers !

A small competition to celebrate the ending of 2019 (and the bear season with it) and a welcome to 2020.

As always, name this landmark.  It is a major global landmark.  Usual rules apply: 10 merits to first person to name location.  V8 is only allowed two guesses per day. More pixels added at random intervals.  The full picture is identifiable as the landmark.

abbey road?
2454  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: December 21, 2019, 12:36:21 PM

No. We need to put an end to this right now. Babies are dying because of this ongoing nonsense drama FFS!!!

Maybe you don't care but *I* do... I can't look the other way anymore, so let's just do it:

Options:

[1] Earth is flat
[2] Earth is NON-flat
[3] Notbatman is retarded, but earth is indeed flat
[4] All of the above.
[5] $9K (Vegeta time!!)
[6] weee weeeeeeeeeeeee
[7] I am notbatman
[8] I am notbatman

(*) From now on, all 6 7 first options also include the statement that "Notbatman is retarded". Please vote accordingly.

i take option zero.

wait number 0 seems to be missing.. label it "earth exists (and notbatman is retarded)" and im good.

as long as youre in the area be sure to visit the local weed dispensaries; no formal classes on the various ways to enjoy the kind bud but very instructive conversations pop up all the time in them nonetheless.

bah

There are two kinds of weed; the kind that induces heart racing paranoia and the kind that locks you to the couch unable to move.

Both will make you forget where you put your keys.

??

you left out the countless other attainable states.

and the keys.. the driver keeps track of those.

EDIT: oh duh coin keys you mean? that storage solution should of already been bulletproof to begin with and take into account what your states of mind may be at any point.

Requesting to add
#coloscophobia

I had coloscopy once, without any meds or narcotics. I certainly didn't enjoy it, but it also wasn't a very bad experience at all. A couple of kinda numb feeling pinch-like shoots of light to medium pain sensations, nothing that gets you worried. The "hose" is 10mm thin, so even thinner than an index finger.
Get over your fears and get it done. Don't worry you might enjoy it, because you won't.
Taking pills before coloscopy is something for the ladies  Grin
(sorry ladies, no offense)

one word: proponfol. youll never know it happened.

if it was good enough to kill michael jackson, its good enough for me.
2459  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thailand files complaint against Bitcoin Seasteader on: December 14, 2019, 03:15:40 PM
ok this badecker vs franky1 bit about grammar etc.. can we stop now?

i ignore punctuation and such too. its my style in forums. ignore me if it bothers anyone.

now as for Elwar and the seastead.. sure mistakes were made. if mistakes we NOT made then they were not trying hard enough. But he is doing what many others would not, which is not giving up the dream when setbacks occurred. learn, try again. thats how we win.

and i see Elwar out there pushing boundaries in a technology that could solve many of our problems while we are stuck on this rock. not many here can say that (not including coin devs etc of course).

yes there are still many problems with seasteads, and they wont get solved by ignoring them. but at least someone is trying.. not just Elwar of course but he seems most visable because of the "Thailand invasion."

Elwar, best of luck with your dreams. already youve accomplished more than most of us can even dream of.

What's wrong with raising my concerns and asking for the opinions of fellow WO contributors? I have never ever attempted to spread FUD and never will. Those who know me can attest to that. Only a few days ago I came across this information (that came from inside the WO thread), and politely posted my concerns to the thread, because I trust your opinions. I got some answers, I accepted them, and I'm happy that all of you guys dismiss this information as FUD, which was also my initial reaction to it. I never offended anyone, as you are doing with your reply above.

no problems with concerns.. there is a lot of info/fud out there, mostly conflicting of course. basically, just keep researching and form your own opinion.

fwiw i too keep the bulk of my coin in legacy addys, and have no real interest in segwit at the moment. of course, this is probably more from laziness than any other single factor.
