Anyone interested on letting me short your AM shares?
2442  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Eyes to the horizon: A bitcoin ASIC project will be announced in June on: May 22, 2013, 08:37:37 PM
Cool. How do I short AM? Smiley
2443  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Azioni ASIC miner, cosa ne pensate? on: May 21, 2013, 05:50:40 PM
Io rimango scettico... E che potevo comprare a 0,5... Penso che col mercato ASIC a regime am sara insignificante... Pero evidentemente ho sbagliato tempistiche.

2445  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 20, 2013, 07:07:13 PM
After 2 months of delay where their customers lost 200+btc per Avalon?

You did not lose them.  You never had them.

As ProfMac, I could insert the obligatory Robert Burns quote here.
Yes. You are right. Bravo. Lost earnings are not lost money. Going from a positive to negative return is normal, Bravo again.

Don't forget a picture of the UI
Check the wiki...

Time to learn how to speak Canadian?
Canadian? LOL. I love you Americans.
2448  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 20, 2013, 01:04:52 PM
And how does that sums with them not wanting to sell a batch 4? You don't need the smt line for selling chips.

But for your own mining farm, which I guess is the big master plan.
Correct me if Yifu revealed their plans in the speech and it should be something else...
Correct.

Now, in what world using the old smt line for your units while your customers wait for the new smt line coming god knows when is not a scam?
2449  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 20, 2013, 12:59:40 PM
Or maybe the old smt line is busy?

I don't think that there is an old SMT line.
I guess production was outsourced so far, that's common and doesn't make too much trouble.
So whats the problem with using the old outsourced smt line after 2 months of delays?

The production line being first priority, delivering second?

Come on guys... Get real. This is worse than BFL.

I'm tired of these delays... I didn't have the time to listen to the interview, but if the transcript is correct, they basically announced another "few weeks" delay... That can't seriously be correct.
Also, they managed to explain the lack of replies to the tickets? Seriously? How?
2451  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 20, 2013, 12:50:33 PM
Or maybe the old smt line is busy?

In a competitive business where timing is crucial (ask any BFL customer), this would sound like very bad planning...
Busy doing something they want that smt line to do... Something that fits perfectly with the hashrate increase...
2452  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 20, 2013, 12:42:23 PM
I would appreciate them outsourcing this step, as they already did in the past.

Building production can take time, make problems and deadlines are hardly met - even by professionals which do it all the time. And for this guys it's the first time, no offence.

I don't understand how they can't use the old setup, unless the installation of the new SMT line makes the whole area unusable.
Or maybe the old smt line is busy?

So the new smt line will be ready in a few weeks, and they plan to finish shipping batch 3 sometime next month... Something doesent add up...

Actually, the google trends is a good indicator. As of now, we are still above the searches per day we did when we first reached 100$ (1th of April), and the price is stable above 100$.
That, IMO, is a healthy indicator.

I also think so, he is trolling us... I deleted a post where I wrote it because I did not wanted to offend anyone but since that I'm not alone... Yes, that's trolling.
And an incredibly succesfull trolling attempt, I would add.
2456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 19, 2013, 12:05:59 PM
That's simply a 3D graph, why is that so hard to understand? It's as easy as drinking!
There are only 2 defects imo:
1) the bot should check the thread and not post the graph more than once per page
2) sometimes (really often, in fact), the 1 hour timeframe is simply too boring. A 6 or 12/24 hour tf could be much more interesting.
2457  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch 2 VIDEO on: May 18, 2013, 12:43:41 PM
YES, the black is fantastic.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Does someone remembers Yufi saying that late batch 2 orders would be shipped in the new case? So, if these are the late batch 2 orders (Huh) where are the early batch 2 orders?
2458  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 17, 2013, 10:15:12 PM
I think that noone here said it was a bs... If you need money fast your best option is to sell shares of the Avalon and cash out (maybe 100-125btc). If you wait until it arrives, you can sell it for 150-200, I guess.

I personally have no faith in the roi of these units, I'm not sure about anything anymore... I can only hope that when Avalon decided to delay to mine themselves they somewhat knew what would happen to the difficulty, I hope that they have some model, that they have insider info from bfl/helveticminer/100th and that somehow in that model the roi of these units is positive. This is my only hope.
2459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 17, 2013, 07:04:48 PM
He probably means they don't physically exist like paper and metal.

The CFTC regulates derivatives. You'd think he'd be comfortable with things that don't exist. LOL
Post of the day!

A 9-fucking-k btc panic buy.
Everything remembers me the patter we kept seeing since 78$. Huge bid walls, huge market buys.

Someone big is cashing it...
