Yes, probably.
Another point in my favour for my lawyer... But i recall another user complaining of the lack of answers a few days ago, this is why i asked here...
1622  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 16, 2013, 05:46:35 PM
Anyone got any luck having a reply from them lately?

I'm asking legitimate questions, such as
"the invoice you sent me includes a control unit (sierra), will you send it for real or do i have to buy it myself?"
"will you send USB cables and hubs along with the control unit?"

Makes me wonder...

(and btw, their telephone number doesn't work anymore).
1623  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 16, 2013, 01:54:26 PM
I highly doubt that you can run 550W through the PCI-E cable without any consequences.
Correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not really following this wire debate, but there are 2 PCI-E slots on each board, so each PCI-E cable should be able to provide around 300W.
I don't see a problem with that.
1624  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 16, 2013, 12:35:44 AM
However filling that letter will almost certainly be equivalent to deciding to proceed legally against HF, because i can't find any scenario where they will decide to refund the BTC we paid even if they failed to ship.

And yet, thinking that HF will fail to ship by the end of the year is daydreaming.

There are maybe 5 users in this forum with the level of ignores that Icebreaker has. I think that this feature should apply only to such users. It could be applied manually, if needed.

This is a decent starting point for a 4U case with 4 modules in it:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811219030

I guess that we should start engineering it (and not wait for HF to release it's pricing, i don't want to pay them a dime more than theirs production costs).

(just realised that this is not the HF thread)

Bello, a che punto sei? I pigroni della sezione internazionale hanno fatto lo scam con l'exchange in C; noi lo facciamo in Assembly, che ne dici?
1628  Local / Beni / Re: [SHARES] - Il primo CryptoExchange Italiano in condivisione on: December 15, 2013, 04:32:19 PM
Boh, quali sono le relazioni tra una banca e un exchange?
1629  Local / Beni / Re: [SHARES] - Il primo CryptoExchange in condivisione on: December 15, 2013, 04:12:14 PM
Tempo + coding-skills -> Lanciare basi per exchange decentralizzato e open source, alpha funzionante
Come gestisci i depositi/prelievi? Exchange per sole alt, dici?
1630  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 15, 2013, 11:11:43 AM
ToS says that we have to send them a letter by the 15th of Jan if we don't receive the miner, yes, so?
1631  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 15, 2013, 10:35:28 AM
You are right about customs, it could be a problem, but the packet size doesen't really make any difference for DHL, and they are able to sustain the load they have during Christmas. So i hope all the best for you, but don't be too disappointed when you receive the miner before the end of the year.

(thinking about it, DHL should handle customs directly, (your package won't be sitting in customs, there will be a custom employe on the plane and they will do their checks there)).
1632  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 15, 2013, 09:57:15 AM
TIL I learned Coindesk is a reputable source for ASIC hardware news.
I've learned it the hard way as well.

example: i leave in france , and if they dont shipped tomorow ( monday) : IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO RECEIVE THE MACHINES IN TIME :  then REFUND !!!
1633  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 14, 2013, 10:36:55 PM
Such a heroic contribution to the mining community!  Wow!  What David.  Many Terrrahash?
None for now, you know, i'm bitting myself for having chosen the BS company instead of the company that will kick-asses in this industry...

I should have know, HF's website was too well designed for them being real. CT's, instead, seemed like to be written from someone that was new to html/css but not to coding. (i really had that impression...).

1634  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Highly ignored uses should have their posts less visible, with opacity on: December 14, 2013, 10:33:16 PM
I'm quite sure that this change will be rejected, but let's see... Trying certainly doesn't hurt.
1635  Bitcoin / Hardware / Hashfast troll fest split from the cointerra thread on: December 14, 2013, 10:31:20 PM
To bad that you don't have a cointerra preorder that you can exchange with my hashfast one.
The tiny difference you miss is the 2 months delays vs few weeks that cointerra will have. CT was priced at 1/5th of the HF pricing point, and the only reason HF was able to have that pricing is their __promise__ of delivery by the end of October.

Guess what? They didn't even have a mockup (rendering) of the board at the end of October.

CT has prototypes of the board that are being tested, cases that are being perfected, and is getting everything in place to ship to it's customers as soon as they can.

HF? HF has been testing the chips for like 2 weeks, they are taking their time, they don't care about their customers losing 500$ per BJ a day.

EOT;

I won't feed you anymore and i won't lose any more time answering to your stupid posts, you are ridiculous and everyone with a minimum of intelligence reading this thread can understand why your replies (to this post) will be useless.
1636  Other / Meta / Proposal: Highly ignored uses should have their posts less visible, with opacity on: December 14, 2013, 10:26:01 PM
I kinda of hate people like Icebreaker. But i can't ignore it, since that i need to know what he is writing to understand how things are getting worse or what (yes, i'm talking about HF).

Also, and more importantly, not everyone takes the time of ignoring people. I'm talking about newbies, especially.

I think that posts of people that are highly ignored should have a degree of opacity, like this:
https://i.imgur.com/mNCRd0Q.png

They will be completely readable but it will be evident to everyone, newbies included, that those post are kinda useless.
1637  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 14, 2013, 10:16:01 PM
Using images to focus the attention of newbies is certainly one of the aspects of your trolling that you do better.
1638  Bitcoin / Hardware / Hashfast troll fest split from the cointerra thread on: December 14, 2013, 10:08:11 PM
Hmmm... I am getting déjà vu.  Is this the hashfast thread?
No, it's just the icebreaker betting on ice. HF and CT are two companies that are run in two completely different ways.

If you disagree with me, i can exchange my HF preordered units (that should arrive before the end of the year) with CT units ordered around the same time of mine (end of August) and with a similar $ value at the time. Everyone is welcome. No discrimination for trollers. MPP included. Bulk discounts.

Quale sarebbe il senso del thread nella sezione italiana se scrivi in inglese?
1640  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 14, 2013, 06:03:47 PM
It's still on their blog and linked from their homepage.
https://hashfast.com/hashfast-announces-fastest-bitcoin-mining-chip-in-the-world/

What's the sense of removing that twitter post? I can't get it.
