2441  Economy / Reputation / Re: legendster Unfair Neg trust given based on a having a bad day and disliking me on: February 03, 2021, 11:46:02 PM
I just want this removed so I can be on my way. I don't want more drama or anything.  It would be the easiest way to deal with it.
The only solution is to sort with the person if you really wanted it to be removed, did you contact him regarding the issue through telegram, hope you are aware that the trust ratings are not moderated, so it is better to sort it out amicably Wink .

If you are looking for his telegram ID you can find here.

2442  Local / India / Re: Brainstorming various ideas for Reshaping the Indian Board on: February 03, 2021, 09:34:39 PM
How can we overcome this barrier of teaching bitcoin to the non-English speaking or in the sense bad English speakers we have in our country and who could sign up here in future? Is Regional Languages board enough for them to learn all by their own? Should Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu be restricted only to the Regional Languages board? Is bitcoin.org and Bitcoin Core is sufficient to be present in English?
Language is not a barrier for anyone who has basic education, some may not articulate according to the standards everyone expects but lets agree that mostly everyone understands and read basic English. I heard you are on a mission to translate the white paper to multiple languages and that is a great initiative.

It would be great if someone has the time to do a step by step guide on how to invest in BTCitcoin which includes a review about the exchanges and how to safe guard the coins and a small guide about wallets in multiple languages.

Regional Language board should be strictly for talking in multiple langues other than English rather than posting translated Alt coin topics, we have an Alt Coins (India) board and all the translated altcoin threads should be placed in that board irrespective of the regional language it is translated, most of my alt coin reports even though i ask to move to Alt Coins (India) board ends up in Regional Languages (India) which is not the reason that board is created.

Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India): All the scam accusation, reputation and investigation should go in their and not in the main board.

Bitcoin Development and also for Translating Bitcoin Whitepaper, bitcoin.org and Bitcoin Core to various Indian Languages

For this we can use Regional Languages (India) board and first we should clean all the trash in that board and hopefully the global mod will look into the reports.

Edit: Regional Languages (India) board is clean now and lets not allow alts in that section from now on. Full credits to Cyrus for helping us out Kiss.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 03, 2021, 01:16:33 PM
It is completely dominated by the batsmen. IMO, we should not reduce the limit to less than 20 overs. For me, 20 overs is the limit and if you reduce it any further it is simply not cricket. For me, T10 resembles like baseball.
You need to give them the freedom to play anything and do not enforce these to the international levels and that is my opinion, when i was playing for local clubs 15 years ago, the initial rounds we had 10 over matches and in the semi finals and in the finals the matches goes to 15 overs and in some tournaments it was 20 overs and rarely i played 20 overs and that is the case when i played for university level as well.
2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India makes ownership of Bitcoin criminal offense - How to respond? on: February 03, 2021, 11:12:40 AM
The parliament will meet again on 8th March. The second phase of the budget session will run from 8th March to 8th April, and during this time most of the bills that are on queue will be taken up and tabled before the parliament.
Lets see how things will go, there are bigger problems the government is facing right now, the farmers protest will be a priority by that time even though they downplay the gravity of the issue and till now they have not announced any recovery package for the economy.

But then you need to understand that the education level of ministers in the current Indian cabinet is not that great. Many of them have no idea about cryptocurrency and are mostly dependent on the bureaucrats for all this information. The bureaucrats are also not much better. Only when they implement the law, they are going to find out that it is such a blunder.
As if the government understands the rest of the issues in India Cheesy . Take for example the farm law or the GST on how they are implemented or the demonetization or the CAA replicating the Nazi regime, there is nothing the current government did that is helping the common population. All the above mentioned were implemented without much thought process and you cannot expect anything different from them.

Hoping that the voting changes from EVM to the old ballot papers so that they do not tamper with the elections. If not how could they be in power even with all the blunders which includes selling of almost all PSU and we will see more sales by the government in the second phase of the budget.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 02, 2021, 09:23:41 PM
Fans will get what they deserve soon, and hopefully Pacquiao  will win so it will not be another boring fight.
The fight of Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather being cancelled was a good thing as it opens a new opportunity for this fight to happen.
When i saw the thread i thought another speculation thread about a fight that will never happen but when i saw that Floyd Mayweather called for a rematch against Manny Pacquiao i am convinced that the fight would happen because Floyd Mayweather was the one hiding away from the rematch and finally he came out and expressed interest for the first time and it will be the biggest show down once again.
2446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks hope to issue their own "bitcoins" to fight BTC on: January 31, 2021, 07:30:33 PM
Banks will issue CBDC, and banks & govs will profit from CBDC.
CBDC's goal is not to compete with Bitcoin. CBDC is a way for even tighter population and tax control. Just check China, the Chinese Digital Yuan and their Social Score.
The success rate of these central bank digital currency depends upon the adoption rate, all the central banks are planning to come up with their version of the coin and we might see many central banks with their digital currency by next year, the success rate depends upon how it is adopted by the people and if people stay away from it then it will fail to gain momentum. It is true that these CBDC will give more control over the government and this is exactly the reason people should avoid them.
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 31, 2021, 02:38:51 PM
I think Tamil Nadu dropped  Murli Vijay for good and Vijay Shankar is already there in the squad.
There is a history between Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay and they will not play in the same team as long as Dinesh Karthik is the captain, Murali Vijay was having an illegal relation with Dinesh karthik's wife behind his back and so is the reason he divorced her and now the ex wife of Dinesh Karthik is the wife of Murali Vijay  Cheesy.

Tamil Nadu is dominated the match and they could win the match, the pitch is helping the spinners.
2448  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bears did that just kill? on: January 31, 2021, 01:45:52 PM
99% of everyone who was going to sell or short was obliterated in, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2021, and just then.
I disagree about 2011 and 2013, no one sold the coins at a loss at that period and no one was obliterated, but if you compare the price now you will regret selling the coins during the initial stages but you cannot call them losses. But 2017 was an entirely different time where many new investors burned their hands when they short the coins or purchased the coins with credit cards.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: January 31, 2021, 01:00:03 PM
Banning cryptocurrency does not make any sense, this will give rise to more illegal activity and more loss of revenue for the government.
Tell me one law that the present Godi government came up that made any sense. Banning of currency with a narrative that they will catch everyone holding black money and you know what happened. Selling all the PSU to his favorite billionaires including airports railways and what else is there is sell right now, farmers are protesting in the cold climate and they are not fighting because they came up with a great law and that is the case here, i do not expect anything positive.

I hope the government of India does not implement this law as this is the only sector that has seen a considerable growth in the pandemic year. It is better to regulate and earn revenue from this booming sector.
You were confident that the government will not ban but comes out with regulation, now what happened Wink Grin .
2450  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 31, 2021, 10:29:37 AM
Anyone having issues with bets disappearing from the sportsbook, i know i placed a bet on some matches but  i could not find them and then i was confused whether i placed in stake or somewhere else and was searching everywhere but could not find them Undecided.
There is nothing to worry, i had the same issue and i was refreshing to see what is happening with my account as i clearly know that i placed a bet with the weekly bonus and when i contacted the support they said there is a technical problem. If you want to view the bet you placed you can contact support and they will give you the screen shot of your bet.
2451  Economy / Exchanges / Re: May i get in a trouble in the future? on: January 31, 2021, 07:06:41 AM
After i got an email it says that this is a gift from that betting site.
The question is may i get in trouble in future because of this? Because i really don't trust betting sites at all.
It is really odd that a gambling site would send a large gift without even you withdrawing from the site  Roll Eyes. Even if it is a promo most of the site would credit that in the site and would have certain wagging stipulations for withdrawing the coin and you got that directly in your wallet which is strange.
Not sure whether you are promoting the site, you will not get into trouble from coinbase for getting a gift from a gambling site.
2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for XRP on: January 30, 2021, 10:19:43 PM
What is the positive news in this, they have asked the SEC and tried to counter them, another interesting aspect which is seen is that the Ripple labs have filed a freedom of information act request to understand about the SEC take on BTCitcoin and Ether and it is going to be interesting to know how the SEC view ETH and whether they will be facing the same issues as ETH raised money in the form of ICO.

2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 30, 2021, 09:29:24 PM
Since Pakistan team is unpredictable we never know how will they perform in the next matches. I am looking that Pakistan may win the series as its been long time since pakistan have won any major series at home or aboard.
This is the biggest hurdle when you are placing a bet on Pakistan as you never know what kind of performance they will showcase, one day they will perform like they could defeat any team in the world but on certain days they perform like minnows. Since they are playing in Pakistan they should have the advantage, they need to find quality fast bowlers which they had in the past but now a days it is disappointing.
2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this correction lead to a bear market for Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2021, 05:24:43 PM
What can you say about those buyers who used margin trading or bought bitcoin with borrowed funds? If their share is large, then your reasoning will not work because in a falling market (if this process is long) they will have to sell their bitcoins to cover their debts. Therefore, the price of 20k is theoretically quite probable, there is no fundamental reason not to consider such a development of events.
During the last rally there were new investors who were trying to ride the market and investing using their credit cards and some of the banks started blocking the purchase of BTCitcoin with credit cards and it was evident that many burned their money when the correction started. People should learn the lesson about riding the market using borrowed funds as it might not end well.
2455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees on: January 30, 2021, 01:30:42 PM
I'm a fan of crypto in all forms, but I'm not a HOLD fan. Instead of merely holding, I'm trying to increase my coins every possible way and put my coins to work daily for me.
The concept the OP is talking about is to invest during the initial stages to reap the maximum profit, could you explain how you are putting your coins to earn a daily profit rather than holding for the long term. If you are trading on a daily basis you can make the profit but the risk is you might miss out sometimes when you book the profit when the rally begins. So holding the coins is the best option and trade according to market trends rather than looking for profit on a daily basis.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 29, 2021, 11:19:15 PM
~
That's an interesting fact, for sure Fury is very honored knowing that his dad's idol is now adoring him, the inspiration to become the
greatest fighter of all time will push Fury to achieved.
Another fun fact is that Tyson Fury was born premature and was just weighing around a pound when he was born and the doctors said it is hard for him to survive but he overcame and he became the world champion and then went down with depression and suicidal thoughts and he even attempted to slam his car and end his life during his darkest days but to come back and then perform in a world stage and defeat another champion and become the champion once again is incredible, his life story is like a movie.

With the price of Doge rallied today, the minimum withdrawal amount is $106 in dollar equivalent which is 2000 dogecoin, but earlier you reduced the minimum withdraw to 500 dogecoin but now when i checked you once again changed that, why what happened and the minimum withdrawal of $106 is a bit too high even though the rally in doge was crazy and unexpected  Grin.
2458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you meet Crypto Currencies? on: January 29, 2021, 08:25:16 PM
I think the majority of users here met crypto because they want to earn easy money online at home. This is just my opinion and to be honest this I myself is included to the swaps of people who wants to earn online by just staying at home sitting in front of the computer and do nothing. I want to know your stories.
When i started there were no monetary gains and i started to support the network and to have a wallet to test the innovation of having a decentralized currency and understand what it is all about. I did make a profit down the line with the coins i mined which i never expected when i started and burned a couple of expensive graphic cards.
2459  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is up $4500 in 30 munites? on: January 29, 2021, 07:15:11 PM
Pumped by billionaire Elon Musk? For sure it is looked at the bio of his twitter account that bitcoin logo is a sign that he is buying bitcoin and the effect of that bio in his twitter is really surprising an almost 15% increase in an hour that may possibly bring the btc price into new target and it is the $50k incoming .
Elon Musk is known to troll the cryptocurrency market for a very long time and this tweet is in the same category and he is not doing this to invest and make money, he is not after money from what i understand from his speeches and he sold all of his properties including his millions of dollars worth of mansions even though he is a billionaire he is staying in rented property.
The price rallied in a short span after his tweets, but how long this will last can be seen in a couple of days.
2460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk adds #Bitcoin to his Twitter bio on: January 29, 2021, 10:07:21 AM
Do you know how long it takes someone to sign up on an exchange, go through their KYC process to verify their account, make money transfer from their bank account to that bitcoin exchange, wait a long time until it reaches the exchange and is credited in their account and then eventually after jumping through all the hoops they can buy bitcoin?
There must be investors who registered during the last rally and some of the exchanges accepts UPI transaction and those are instant deposits, Elon Musk is known to create buzz when ever he scribble something in his social media platforms and he has done that in the past when he posted about Doge coin and recently when he advocated Signal, the application saw millions of new users and even the stock of Signal Advance rallied over 5000% because of that, so he does have the influence to manipulate the market  Wink.
