1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Eying NFT!!! on: February 13, 2022, 05:50:09 PM
Any popular game that is already established will have a huge fan following and if they enter the NFT space selling merchandise, collectibles or even playable, it will sell out faster and it will be one of a kind rare collection die hard gamers. The only aspect i am waiting right now is that when a major gaming company starts experimenting with P2E games.

Ahh definitely another win for Aussies as Sri Lanka are now 89/4 in 14 overs. 69 runs needed on 34 balls. Opener Pathum Nissanka is still on the crease with 43 runs along with Dasun Shanaka on 25 runs. This is last recognised batting partnership and they can take Sri Lanka to victory if they bat till end. Odds defiantly favouring Aussies at the moment.
Even i thought it was an easy win for Australia and i placed a bet on Australia but i would say Sri Lanka played really well in the end because they needed 46 runs to win the match in 3 overs and yet they were able to tie the match even with 19 runs required to win the match in the last over and the tail enders played their best to end up in a tie but luckily i won the bet because Australia won the 1 over eliminator.

Tuivasa didn't take his first fights in the UFC seriously.

After his 3rd straight loss to Sergey Spivak, Tuivasa realized he needed to make a change and trained at American Kickboxing Academy in california. Apparently making that change and seeing many talented fighters in the gym everyday was what he needed to get motivated.
Tai Tuivasa just blew my mind with his performance. He was a fun loving guy but after seeing him loose three fights in a row, i thought he will not reach a title shot but he was improving after that he took his career seriously and i know he was knocking out his opponents but Derrick Lewis is a step up in competition.

Derrick Lewis surprised with his take downs which i never thought he would try and in the second round they stood and banged as promised and Tai Tuivasa knocked out Derrick Lewis Shocked.

Derek Brunson and Jared Cannonier was a crazy fight. Derek Brunson dominated the first round with his takedowns but in the second round Jared Cannonier knocked the sense out of him and that elbow strikes on the ground were nasty even the corner threw the towel.

Now time for the main event. I am expecting another great fight.

Unfortunately, the policies made by Russia or China bring some impacts on crypto market. Russia ban issue and China ban on mining, have triggered crypto market to experience a big downtrend phase in the last few months.
It is a speculative market and what do you expect. If you are trading in cryptocurrency you need to understand that you are in a highly volatile market and any news can change the market in either direction, all you need to do if you are investing, is to enter at a good price and then sit on top of it and book your profit. Consider the price last year and then you can very well say that it is a upward trend  Wink.

I never thought the last tour of Pakistan was 24 years ago, that is a really long time and i do think that Australia will move ahead with the tour.
Wow 24 years since the last tour of Pakistan  Shocked. I still remember the innings played by Mark Taylor who was struggling for a very long time and looked like he will be retiring soon and he went on to score 334 runs when Australia toured Pakistan back in 1998. I still remember vividly that innings of his as he was unbeaten in that innings and that innings extended his playing days till the next ashes.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 12, 2022, 11:00:17 PM
~
fiat is recognized by governments which allows it to be used in countries, everything you buy uses fiat, people receive a salary using fiat, but there are maximum values for walking on the street with fiat, something that does not happen with bitcoin where the person can be their own bank
There is advantages and disadvantages in both BTCitcoin and fiat currency, we need to balance them out and use accordingly and it a fact that there is no point in comparison. If mainstream payment mechanism does not work in certain aspects BTCitcoin is the only way you can conduct transactions and do business and there is nothing better than BTCitcoin to make online purchase when you are purchasing from a global marketplace.
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impact on BTC price in case of a potential Russia-Ukraine war on: February 12, 2022, 10:20:33 PM
Although it’s too early to say that BTC isn’t affected by the recent tensions of Russia and Ukraine, but we are not sure about it’s movements when the invasion happens. BTC and altcoin prices are unpredictable, and it can go up or down without warning. However, I do believe that the prices are heavily influenced on the media where still most of the people around the world are misinformed and uninformed who are listening more on the media.
I really think that the Russia Ukraine situation is blown out of proportion by the media because the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky even said in the media that things are not like the US is portraying. Considering the price, anything can happen, people might move their assets to cryptocurrency as a safe heaven if there is war.

To be honest, I don’t want Russia to start a war like this as they have already increased the number of troops near the border in many sides (including Belarus and Crimea). Hopefully everything would become peaceful. We don’t like to see a World War III, but man this is definitely concerning not only for Ukranians, but to the rest of the world.
Russia has increased their troops but they very well know that a war would create collateral damage and i do not think they will do anything that would force them to fight a war now.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the market to buy the safest NFT? on: February 12, 2022, 09:58:01 PM
I've only transacted on Opensea, and it's safe so far, but many say that not all NFT on Opensea are safe to use, verified is one of the things to pay attention to in buying nft on opensea. therefore, try to buy the popular or verified NFT for security.
In Opensea there are many fake NFT as well, they tried to restrict some of them but still there are plenty of them. The only NFT projects i purchased are from Ethernity and Terra Virtua as they have some of the coolest launches and products and in Terra Virtua you will get some low valued NFT and i do purchase from their marketplace. So basically it is safe as i never faced any issues.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans for the 2022 crypto market? on: February 12, 2022, 09:01:08 PM
My strategy for 2022 is nothing more than keep HODLing and wait for a really lucky strike. It is years since I started with crypto and, although I can't complaint at all, I am still waiting for some good move that grants me a more carefree living Smiley
If the coin is not rallying then holding is the only option that is left Cheesy. I was expecting a major correction and hence i booked my major profits during this rally and now i really do not care whether we rally or go through a major correction. If it goes higher i will sell the rest of the coins i am holding and if we see a major correction, i see them as an opportunity to accumulate once again for the next rally. Wink

What development? The Bitcoin community has always welcomed white supremacists, alt-rightists, neo-Nazis, self-identified-"libertarians"-who-are-actually-just-conservatives-who-want-to-smoke-pot, and other such scum. This isn't news. The mainstream media's just a little slow on the uptake (that's not news either).
It is true, even back in June 2011 when PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and all the major payment intermediaries blocked Wikileaks from accepting funds, they started accepting BTCitcoin and from that time, we are a target for any government and the media who is supporting anyone that are blocked by the mainstream systems. It is nothing new and some are hearing about these for the first time and whenever BTCitcoin is used to overcome the restrictions, you hear the same narrative repeated again and again  Cheesy.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: February 11, 2022, 11:44:25 PM
I think bitcoin and ethereum will always be at the top of the CMC rankings, because these two coins have very strong fundamentals, and BTC and ETH are the coins most adopted by crypto users, so it is very difficult for other coins to be able to beat the popularity of these two coins. I believe that BTC and ETH will always outperform other coins in the long run.
There is no doubt about BTCitcoin leading the charts for the unseen future but that cannot be said about ETH simply because of the scaling issues they are facing for over a year and projects and users are tired of paying huge transaction fees and now majority of the projects already migrated to multiple chains and when that happens the use case of ETH reduces and who knows whether they will be able to sort their scaling issues.

I was not looking for comparison of PSL and IPL since I already knew that IPL is way ahead of all leagues since they pay heavily to everyone involved in the league. What I inferred is that BBL is at no second followed by PSL and BPL. BBl is not even played by Aussies players, you can easily see the popularity of this league in Australia.
Are you saying Big Bash League is the second biggest league cricket, if so that is a fact. You cannot compare IPL to any other league but when it comes to revenue and viewership Big Bash League is second and then Caribbean Premier League, T20 Blast League is also catching up and then comes PSL, but i tried to check all of their revenue streams but could not find any authentic ones.

if there are businesses like coffee shop or restaurant that accepts bitcoin in your country? then why not try to have a dinner date or something related?
or some gadget shops that accepts bitcoin? then why not buy for them? or if you are out of budget / then why not give them bitcoin instead? or satoshi i mean.
You can take your loved ones for a good dinner but does not mean you need to hunt down a restaurant that accepts BTCitcoin, because it is rare to find even today. What i would do is give her a hardware wallet with couple of hundred dollars worth of BTCitcoin and ask to do anything with it according to her choice or store it for the long term as the valentine gift.

The only thing West Indies can be proud of after this series is their bowling line-up. They were able to bowl India all out in 2 out 3 games. This indicates that they bowling attack is still pretty good and that also on Indian pitches which are always more helpful for the batsmen and 300+ scores are easily manageable here. West Indies stopped India at around 250s in both matches. But obviously batting front they were miserable. It's not that their complete batting line-up is very bad. There are a few players who have made their names in leagues around the world but still they have failed miserably in India. I think t20 might be a better and favourable platform for WI, I am not expecting t20s to be a cakewalk for Indian team.
In T20 West Indies will be a different team and will be competitive. It is true that i was surprised with the way in which West Indies bowled throughout the series, Indian batting looks really weak but then the tail end players always take the team to respectable target which is a good sign but the top order was struggling and in all the matches they kept rotating players which i do not understand.

I have also done some search about this Imran Tahir and have few very interesting facts that while his very early days in cricket he meet with Intikhab Alam a legendary spinner and coach for Pakistan and after having few sessions he gives him tip that he must leave this game cricket because he has never been a good bowler but his addiction and love for this game was not allowing him for this, and he plays few years in domestic level in Pakistan and then shift to England where he has not good response then he shifts to South Africa and has chance which was late, but he still achieved the best bowler rank in ODI and T20 which is really great achievement from this guy but sadly in test matches his start was really nightmare as he played against Australia and conceded nearly 260+ otherwise his career was good but best thing with his hard work and addiction he achieved really great milestones in his life.
I was not aware of his struggles to get to South Africa and play for them. I thought he migrated as a kid and playing for them. If he went through with his passion and made it to the International level and be at the top of the rankings, then it is a huge deal and he is bowling in wickets that are not helpful to the spinners. A new found respect for Imran Tahir for chasing his dreams  Kiss.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get money women to be involved in Crypto on: February 09, 2022, 11:54:49 PM
Just recently, I saw a project trying to get more women to be involved in cryptocurrency by organizing a pageantry, and then asked for application.
My question is, is this really the best way to involve women in cryptocurrency? Is there no better way to get them involved? Because, frankly speaking, cryptocurrency is more of a masculine affair than a feminine thing. So how do we balance this imbalance in the Crypto space?
Why do you need to balance them, what is your motivation. Let everyone choose what they prefer rather than forcing them to taking up something they are least interested  Roll Eyes.  You really cannot say that there is no woman in the entire space, i know several woman in the cryptocurrency space who are involved in multiple projects working in different positions and it is all about interest in a subject and not about what they have in between  Tongue.

Right now, they are facing West Indies which is currently worst team in all formats and in future they are going to face some big challenges which require better contribution from all players and very strong leadership.
India is also going through a shift in phase, Virat Kohli is not the captain anymore and they need to find a good balance in the team. West Indies is not having a great time for Test and ODI, but for T20 you cannot neglect their batting power as they can defeat any team when they are in form especially their T20 specialist bowlers.

India struggled with the bat and i expected they would score a huge total but it was a disappointing performance but West Indies did not have the players to pose any challenge.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is deflationary? on: February 06, 2022, 08:49:54 PM
~
Oh is that so? But I have heard the term deflationary applied to Bitcoin because of its coin cap of 21 million. I was thinking since a similar thing is happening with Ethereum where there are fewer coins entering the market than before, it might also be deflationary.
You cannot really compare the deflationary value of BTCitcoin who is 21 million coins total and close to 19 million coins in circulation while ETH does have over 120 million coins in circulation as we speak and we are talking about deflationary coin is a joke because we are changing the parameters on the go and both are not the same Smiley.

~
I think that ETH will be less inflationary compared to BTC in the long run, though. This is just a function of its emission curve which is a lot flatter than even BTC due to the burned tx fees. It will be an interesting dynamic for sure, perhaps ETH prices will benefit as a result.
You create billion of coins in circulation and you burn out a few and call it an interesting dynamic, first lets see whether they can settle the scaling issue they are facing for over an year then we can talk about the financial aspects, because without a functioning technology there is no valuation. Cheesy

Really it's funny from both sides like Pakistan and China because I have feeling they could be not good in this game as it's not good for their nature they are very fast and love to do things in very short period, so first they need to have leagues like 100League, Ten/10League and Twenty/20 if they catch this all then surely they can enjoy this all otherwise it's going to be fail because few decades ago they already try in this way but failed.
China does have a cricket team but they are the worst in terms of performance. If Pakistan could help them in improving their Cricket and finding young talents in the worlds most populated country, then it would be great.

Surely it's going to take decades because it's not easy for any country to adopt this all in very quick way we have few examples already in this cricket community and losing few countries due to their bad tactics and fail planning so if they have done with some better way then surely they can do this all and have better future in this game and can defeat India in their fan base advantage.
The Chinese government is not giving any focus to Cricket and hence you will not see them prosper, once they include cricket in major tournaments like the Olympics, then countries like China will look closer and spend time in improving the game.
1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with whales? on: February 06, 2022, 07:35:24 PM
~
There is still something to be done when Whales act in the market.  Follow it and don't be swayed by it, as long as the Whales make various patterns to raise and lower the market just to take retail money like us, we just need to be vigilant.  As long as there are still many whales who don't sell all their crypto, it means the market is fine.  And even though the price is bearish, it's just another Whales momentum buying at a discount.
That is a fairly good point, the fair market will be when the coins are distributed fairly and having more whales is a healthy one rather than a problem. I hate having someone having major control in the platform like some of the few institutional investing firm are having a control in the market. and that is the sole reason i am not able to predict how the market will perform this year.
