2461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: January 04, 2018, 11:33:44 AM
I almost can't believe this question has been asked so many times here, since the answer is easily found and pretty logical when you think about it.
Of course you can't beat the casino with a certain strategy, at least if we're talking about games where the house has an edge over you, which I assume you're talking about.

How would the casino make any profit if they were hosting games that allows players to beat them, just by choosing a certain strategy.

You can find strategies that will make you lose less money, but in the long run you cannot beat the house edge.

2463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 02, 2018, 07:08:28 PM
You must stop when your limit is not enough again to play, and you must setup limit to play gambling.
If you setup the limit, it can help you to lose more money, and you must control your emotional to play gambling.

It is so easy to said but it is hard to do. Setting up a limit is so easy, but fighting the urge to continue playing if you already reached your limit is sometimes a difficult thing to do, especially if we have this mindset that we are going to win if we are going to continue, believe me, it is not that easy. The loses that you have had in gambling is enough for you to stop it, if you are going to be wise.

It's easier for some people than for other people, there are players that can exercise enough self control, which makes it able for them to manage a bankroll and not go over their limits.
If it's really that hard for you to fight the urge to gamble, even when you've already gone over your limits, you're definitely addicted and need to quit gambling completely.

But like I said, not everyone has a tendency to get addicted in the first place, a lot of people will never let it come to that.
2464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where I can cash out bitcoin to fiat? on: January 02, 2018, 03:16:19 PM
Definitely register and get verified an a well known and trusted exchange like Kraken or Bitstamp for example and you should have no problems.
They both offer pretty large maximum fiat withdraws and I haven't had any problems with them in the past.

Some people have suggested Localbitcoins, but I wouldn't want to trade face to face for large amounts.

Do make sure that you report everything for taxes, the exchanges can give your tax authority all information.
2465  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find investors for generous faucet? on: January 02, 2018, 02:45:03 PM
Hi all!
I have an idea to open generous faucet - 3000 satoshi/day for active users. But it may be required to have 10 BTC for first months. I think that the best way to open investor's cabinet. But I cannot give any guarantees that investor will get back their bitcoins. What's your ideas?  Huh Thanks!
This idea wont work for sure and you would really not able to catch up the expenses you do need because advertisements cant really cope up on the amount that you putted seeing that you plan to put 10 bitcoin on first months which would really be a big amount and saying that it would be famous then it would really be possible since it would be one of the faucets which do give big amount since no faucet website gives 3000 satoshi.

freebitco.in gives ~2000-2500 satoshi/day.
Freebitcoins doesn't rely on advertising though, they have a pretty popular dice site with a huge house edge.

It's just not reasonable to ask for 10 BTC to start a faucet which relies only on ads. Plus, you don't even need 10 BTC to start a faucet like that.

How much I need, you think? Smiley

this is not going to work
you do not even have a proper business plan, cannot monetise the faucet properly-bitcoin ad networks
will not make it profitable! especially if u are planning to dish out  3.000 satoshi a pop
without Google Ads it is going to be marginally profitable only if you have a good, working anti-bot system
you wil lbe much better off starting a different business, ideas are plenty
Faucet sites do usually need 1-2 btc would be sufficient enough but I agree on what others said here.It wont really work out as I said earlier. Monetizing your faucet sites out of advertisement wont really be a guarantee and wont really even break even. I'm am very sure of this stuff for OP not to be bitter person here but its better to find another Investment on that 10 btc you do have.Good luck

Not even that, you can easily launch a faucet site, while you only have, say, 0.20 BTC.
You need to focus on avoiding cheaters and you can't give away too much coins per claim. I'm sure it is possible to run a faucet and turn over a small amount of profit.

You need to test out different forms of income though and find the ones which will bring you the most profit.
2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Kitties and EtherTanks I really hope an online trading card game is in dev on: January 02, 2018, 01:53:36 PM
Speaking of gaming and crypto! Don't forget about the novablitz card trading + crypto based game this trading game tied to the blockchain is gonna be huge.

Telegram Group : https://t.me/Novablitz

Or their official website at : https://novablitz.com

Have you even read this thread? People have been talking about that game and it was even mentioned in the OP.

The game itself looks really nice, I hope it can get as popular as crypto-kitties.
It's definitely very good that it can't slow down the Ethereum network because the game itself isn't played on chain (as mentioned here).
2467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a trader on: January 02, 2018, 01:02:12 PM
I have no idea about trading .But want to learn trade how become trader please help and give me some information and share some site.
You do not have to go too far to find information, in this bitcointalk site has been much explained about trading. You can search various threads that discuss trading. In essence you should be able to analyze and make decisions. For various coin options in Trading should be tailored to the exchange you use, one of my recommendations is bittrex. You can trade on one of the best exchanges available today.

I completely disagree with that, while there might be a few good trading tutorials here, I doubt you'll be able to find all the information you need here.
You'll most likely also pick up some bad information, there are far better resources out there.

You number one free resource for trading tutorials is this website: https://www.investopedia.com

You'll find all the basic trading tutorials on there.
2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do all Vietnamese people play Dice/Gambling? on: January 02, 2018, 12:06:39 PM
I met alots of people from VietNam while gambling. They online most of the time ,but they only talk on chatbox for example: Primedice,Stake and many sites i've visited .

Are they addicted  gambling/ making money or they want a  place to comunicate each other?

Or there was no Real Casino on their country?
Im really happy if i can meet Vietnam people here Smiley

The main question is "are they really gambling on that site? or are they just chatting around while waiting for free money from then rainbot (if any) or tips from other players?" No offenses for them though, but I'm saying in general. As what I know, real gamblers are not spending their time too much on chatbox while gambling.

The same question which not all people who do talk on chatboxes are really playing on the site.Maybe there are some people who do play and chatting but most cases some are just standbys  and waiting for some drops or tips from other people or on the site itself. Some are just trolling out  and as being said if you are really gambler you do really talk seldom on those chatboxes and thats for sure.

It's also a minority of gamblers who participate on the chat box, maybe it's just that Vietnamese people have more of a tendency to chat while gambling?
Or they are just more vocal because they know there are a lot of other Vietnamese people playing on the website.

Looking at this thread it does seem as though asians like gambling a bit more than hyour average western guy/girl, I honestly had no idea.

May the year 2018 bring you good luck, fortune, success and lots of love.
Happy New Year from CryptoGames Staff!

Happy New Year to all mods, admins and players! I hope 2018 brings everyone lots of profit and fun times!
At least we've already got some of the highest lottery jackpots we've ever seen on Crypto-Games, don't forget to buy a few tickets, you never know...!
2470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Magazine calls Bitcoin a "Great Scam" on: December 29, 2017, 10:59:06 AM
That was hard to read, why do they have to put an article onto 4 different pages for Gods' sake?

I also find it very short sighted of the author that he immediately states that Bitcoin has absolutely no intrinsic value and then goes ahead to compare it to a paper $1 note.
Come on, is it so difficult to even entertain the thought that Bitcoin derives at least some value out of being used as a method of exchange?

He then goes on a tangent about the numbers of Bitcoin hold absolutely no value, I can't even begin to understand how you could focus on something like this, while missing what's so revolutionary about Bitcoin in the first place.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best crypto lotteries? on: December 28, 2017, 04:25:30 PM
True flip as I know, nice site they advertise like worlds largest lottery platform, they even have their alt TFL if that means anything.
I like crypto games, they have been here for years but freebitco.in lottery is probably the longest scam ever, I never won anything there on dices, and I never was in first 10 lottery winners. I don't remember I saw anyone bragging here about it.
I hope you will like true flip, check it out and maybe you will like it, if you are a token owner you can even participate in some special draws, check more about it.

I don't think freecitco.in is actually a scam, I've seen some people post that they've won something there, they just sell enormous amounts of tickets.
I'll check out true flip, seems like it's something different than a normal lottery.
2472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you recommend this method to earn? on: December 28, 2017, 03:45:49 PM
Yeah, this is basic trading 101, but you don't have to put it back in fiat, you can use any altcoin you like.
That's not to say you'll make any money doing this, it can be quite hard to accurately predict whether the price will go up or down.

It might be a good idea to start following some traders on Tradingview, I've seen a couple of people there make accurate predictions on a regular basis.
2473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold 300k Verge in the last couple of days and quit my job on: December 28, 2017, 02:00:51 PM
Damn you're lucky that you'd invested before it blew up because of McAffee! I do think it's smart of you to have sold your coins during the sudden price spike.
I don't think this growth is sustainable and we'll see it dropping again soon.

Not to say that Verge is a bad coin or anything, I think it has its place as another competitor to Monero, Zcash, etc.
2474  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Requirements To Be A Bounty Manager. on: December 28, 2017, 12:57:38 PM
Having a good work ethic and being very punctual are some of the most important skills you must have to become a bounty manager.
It's not entirely impossible to become one, even if you don't have much trust yet on the forum.

You probably won't be allowed to handle funds if that's the case, but you can work yourself up, I've seen relatively new members do this.

It's important that you put yourself out there and offer possible customers a great deal at first.
2475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to trade in and out and back in again for profit with bitcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 12:39:00 PM
This is just basic functionality of any exchange like Bittrex, Poloniex or Bitstamp really.
You can just sell your Bitcoin for any altcoin while the price is dropping and rebuy when the price is going up again.

And yeah you can also use a trade bot for that, as the member above me pointed out.
2476  Economy / Gambling discussion / The best crypto lotteries? on: December 28, 2017, 12:09:38 PM
I was wondering if there are a lot of Bitcoin/altcoin lotteries around, I have not seen too many sites offering this game.

Crypto-Games lottery is pretty popular and it's the one I like the most. Tickets are pretty cheap at 0.0001 BTC and the prizes range from 0.01 BTC to 0.5 BTC usually.
They also have a Litecoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin lottery.

The only other lottery I know of is the one at freebitco.in, but the chances of winning there are just too low for my taste. It's easy to get free tickets though.

Does anyone know some more websites that have a lottery? Please share if you do.

2477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has ANYONE got their parents on board the Bitcoin train? on: December 28, 2017, 11:33:42 AM
I've talked about Bitcoin to my dad, but I don't really think that he's planning to make an investment with it any time soon.
If he decided he wanted to buy some, I would definitely help him set up a safe paper wallet so he can just let it increase in value over time without having to worry about it.

With all the recent news, I have noticed that he's asked me about Bitcoin several times now.
2478  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do we need to pay tax in UK for converting bitcoin to fiat on: December 28, 2017, 10:25:09 AM
IS the tax 20% capital tax charegable on bitcoin profit and any amount exempted .
Seems like you'd only have to pay capital gains tax on it when you convert it back to fiat.
I've found another source which explains this more in dept, though you should really talk to an accountant if you want to be completely sure.

Quote
If the bitcoins have been purchased HMRC will regard any increase in value as being liable to capital gains tax. Tax will only crystallise when the bitcoins are converted into another currency, be it sterling or dollars or even another cryptocurrency. Capital gains tax is currently charges at ten per cent or 20 per cent (or a mixture ) depending on the level of the taxpayer’s other income.

2479  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do we need to pay tax in UK for converting bitcoin to fiat on: December 28, 2017, 10:06:31 AM
I would assume that you'd have to pay capital gains tax in the UK on the profit you make with Bitcoin, yes.
Have found a few resources that would indicate so, I'll share them below.

These articles mention that a new law is in the making, so I'm not completely sure how it's taxed now, but I would assume through capital gains tax.

You really need to put in a bit more work into your website if you want it to succeed.

I'm not a big fan of the theme you're using, it's way too dark for my personal taste. Your website in general looks unfinished, there's nothing except a few small articles with generic information.
You also don't have any categories or sections, there's no menu or any form of navigation.

As I said, the articles themselves aren't very good, they're too short and have outdated and incomplete information.
You'll never get any visitors from Google or other search engines if you keep writing like that.
