2481  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: August 30, 2022, 02:20:41 PM
^I don't know in general if a gambling casino industry will give the same percentage of referral from the revenue they will get, as I have known, it was ranging 5% to 10% of the revenue they received.
I have checked different casinos' affiliate/referral system, and they obviously have different reward rates, some are fixed, some are increasing by limited time say monthly when you invite more and etc.
And yeah, looking or having a regular referred gambler/user is not easy even having at least 1 to signup your link is not easy as well, how much more to refer a big time gambler.
2482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: coin mixer service on: August 30, 2022, 11:22:03 AM
There always be a market for mixers/tumblers business in crypto world especially for this era of full of regulation.

Opening such business have cons and should be taken with risks. Check chipmixer, they have a website .com domain for information only then those who to want to use the mixer will need to use TOR network for security and privacy wise.
2483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Fake Cthulhu World project DM on Twitter, will still your crypto on: August 30, 2022, 10:59:12 AM
Downloading a software from completely random stranger online always give me a red flag, especially in socmed particularly twitter.
Blockchain projects have their own telegram group or discord server, or any socmed community where they announce such things.
Receiving a dm in twitter for such offer always be a red flag, ALWAYS. If the account seems legit, it should be confirm to the community first or project group before proceeding, else these might happen. Also, virustotal is completely free to check if the file has malware on it.

2485  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: August 29, 2022, 11:14:45 PM
If you're the king everything will look upon you, make you as their inspiration, reference, and etc. That's how the world works in any industry, cars, motorcycles, smartphones, TV's, websites almost any industry where technology can be applied. That's why you can see those tech have almost the same look may only vary their colors, sizes, etc.

There will be some filling of cases in the court due to plagiarism/copycats in the early stage when small companies try to level up and end up copying the king.

As long as the king have their unique feature or their flagship he will not be threatened and will welcome any kind of competitors.

In gambling or say casino, have almost the same kind of features and look. The king will only be threatened if some of its pawns gather and influence the people working on the king and make their own empire.
But how? Of course some gimmick and promises. This when marketing, customer service, prices, games, etc. comes to compete the reign and may take times to take over what the king has.
2486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: August 29, 2022, 02:54:13 PM
Investment wise, i'll go buying. Mining will take years before you reach your ROI.

Those user who chose mining should have enough reasons not just simply, "to have profit in the long run", "help blockchain network", "learn technicals", etc. We're talking money and investments, simply a business.
There are lots of consideration to mine bitcoin. Location, hardwares (including installations and maintenance), electricity, man power, running a business regulation/requirements, lastly a huge sum of capital. Now if you have it all and have easy access to them, then that's a good choice to go mining.
2487  Other / Meta / Re: Additional security measures to keep account secure on: August 29, 2022, 08:28:08 AM
I appreciate every suggestions in security measures but i feel this is only happens (getting hacked) because of user's carelessness. Unless there is really a loophole in the website's security that needs to fix.

Why it didn't happened to me before? Or to someone else? Your account's security is your responsibility, same like your bitcoin private keys.
2488  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recommended 2FA app for Windows on: August 28, 2022, 09:57:13 PM
I use authy both phone and desktop after get disappointed on google auth.

As OmegaStarScream said, you can't import your data from other 2fa app (mobile) to another 2fa app (desktop).
You should use 2fa that has both phone an desktop compatible and resetting your accounts 2fa is the only way to do that.
2489  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Preev is down, Im happy to announce the official launch of Pnnv.com on: August 28, 2022, 08:57:53 PM
The site really like preev.

This has been fixed!
I don't know what has been fixed as mentioned on the quoted posts but these two below is i can still experienced.
-The conversion when changing from USD to EUR.
-Also the rounding off of the decimals to at least 2 decimals.

Overall it's good as preev, nothing to add though since im not that fan of using preev. But i appreciate as others do usually use preev.
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling sites don't offer betting on bitcoin price ? on: August 28, 2022, 08:32:30 PM
...
Do some research by yourself next time before ask simple question that is everywhere online.

If you asking about bitcoin price that is trading the price of bitcoin. That is for trading sites like binance. You can move thread to trading discussion for answer you ask.
I guess you need it too before educating someone or someone's question. What op asked is existing in a kind of gambling game, you can read again what other posted above.
Although this kind of game looks like not that popular it is indeed still a form of gambling game.
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 28, 2022, 08:19:21 PM
No, this is simply a crime. What those group done is thief and its not a form of gambling, they may target these poker gaming machines knowing they knew how and where to break or they knew the process of breaking it easily.

This is not gambling addiction this is thievery, abuse and a crime. You can't call it a gambling addiction without gambling/playing in the machine or platform.
2492  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Becareful from scam site Gate.io on: August 28, 2022, 08:26:37 AM
What procedure you already did recovering your account's 2fa? If you have all have the email used, mobile number (if required) i guess that is enough for them to help you recover 2fa and your account unless they are up to something.

Also, what's their response for you to say that "they still don't give  you access back"?
2493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how bitcointalk forum operates on: August 27, 2022, 11:25:21 PM
I can't explain to myself how in this digital age we live in, we have so many threads on this forum where people want to have everything handed to them on a platter instead of searching for themselves.
Besides, almost all important threads were stickied/pinned on every board especially here and this thread[1].

Lol... I Hope all that you know both in and outside of this forum were all self-taught. Sorry, i already got the information i needed.
Then closing/locking the thread ("lock topic" in the lower part of this thread) is a huge help to mods from deleting redundant/spam answers.

2494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Narlybit a scam? on: August 27, 2022, 09:16:42 AM
Giving away bitcoin in twitter? That's a huge red flag.

Huge chance of scam giveaway where "you need to send first before you get the giveaway thing" or something worst that needs to deposit or what. Better to stay away and avoid them. No one will give you free bitcoin in this era. Most of them are scam especially from random stranger in socmed.
2495  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: August 26, 2022, 07:25:36 PM
A game with a large payout also has a high traffic of gamblers.
This is always a marketing strategy.
In local sweepstakes or lottery, TVs, radios, news paper will always cover for this in entertainment section, telling that "no one still get the jackpot price, it always grow day by day" that's  why many people will try their luck due to low risks with much price but witlh lower chance of winning.

On the digital world, a casino that has lots of promotions, lower house edge, lots of games always be the one who have lots of users while the risks will still the same, just depends on the games house edge and etc.
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 07:05:51 PM
Is this unavoidable in crypto based casinos? Or are crypto gamblers also required to do KYC? If so, crypto can't be as anonymous as it used to be because we realize that today's governments have gone too far in controlling a person's identity and what they use the internet for.
This due to having a casino license as a business that make them require KYC to comply for the authority.

If casino will avoid having a license, KYC might not be required. But this will have lots of cons to the business. Example, when a new unlicensed casino/gambling website opens an ANN here, people will comment always here "why you don't have a license?" If you're serious to your business you should have a license blablabla" that means people here loves submitting KYC and ofc, centralized casino. People always argue that having license is equal to a safe casino. Which also means, providing KYC is equal to a safe casino. Yet later on they will also the one commenting "why casinos most are KYC-required?" See?.

Although this might not always be the case, unlicensed casino might still ask KYC for a reason like making excuses to withdraw user's withdrawal requests and etc. which is an indicator that this casino is a shitty one.
2497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need Escrow on: August 25, 2022, 07:21:07 PM
Check Hhampuz[1], i see no other active escrow here aside him.

Plus, avoid messages from lower rank accounts claiming they are escrow to avoid scams.
Mostly these escrows don't message first for security purposes, so you will send pm to them first.

So why not sell your service and just brute force seed wallets if you really can do that
I doubt he can do that, he say he can brute force a wallet using his mind. Or i just need a help from couple of people to explain what he is trying to say. Well, this is literally out of his mind.
2499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels on: August 25, 2022, 02:38:07 AM
Furthermore, I'm actually very good friends with Eddie (owner of Stake). He is very selfless and gave us some pointers when it came down to developing some of these games a while back and overall website functionality.
Now, now. I'm become more interested after hearing/reading that you are both good friends. Would be glad if someone can confirm it the relationship of these both ceo/founder/casino owner/whatever you called it.

Anyway, i didn't say it yet, so welcome aboard and good luck.
2500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels on: August 24, 2022, 02:55:33 PM
First impression: Looks like Punt.com is combination of Duelbits and Stake.
After observation: Punt.com is copy of Stake.com.

The UI is same.
The deposit and withdrawal page, VIP tab, VIP rank requirements, menu bar, settings page, everything is copy paste of Stake (similar layout and written rules).
Terms and Conditions, AML & KYC rules are completely same. I know that online casinos have some common rules in the terms. But when it comes to Punt.com, you will see that they have copy pasted the Stake.com rules. There is no difference except the name of the casino (at where it is written).

Anyway, welcome to bitcointalk forum. Where is the uniqueness of your website?
I have already informed about it to Stake live support. The support agent said that they will do further investigation on this.
This is a huge claim. You should at least include images (screenshots) of those pages to support your claim.

I'm in mobile mode. The initial look (home page) is really almost the same on the menu bar, header, the dropdowns. This is due to how UX works and how it is beneficial. I see lots of casino has almost the same UX and UI. Duelbits, owl.games, rollbit, fortunejack too.

Deposit, withdraw, vip, even the settings page are too different from each other. What only is almost the same position where icons, buttons but as i said this because of how UX works casino has almost the same look. Again im talking in their mobile mode look.

Now about the terms, aml/kyc on the phrase, text used, punctuations and even almost the numbering are indeed almost the same. Well, it's better to wait punt.com to explain things.
