2481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Original Satoshi Vision on: April 23, 2019, 08:43:14 PM
the more people download the entire blockchain , the better it is for decentralization. However, such wallet is not safe, it is not cold, so in any case it will be installed by a minority

here is an instruction on how to work with the safest cold wallet, you do not need to download the entire blockchain http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/coldstorage.html

The more diverse and bigger entities with real interest in using Bitcoin download and mine Bitcoin the more secure it will be. That's no longer some raspi reconciliation job as a slow Blockchain client / slave function.

Industrial scaling will do the proper task and the poor masses can fully use Bitcoin not paying extra costs for stupid slow recon nodes.  That was yesterday...

Hello hv_ Yes seems very interesting but I don't have another machine to use in air-gapped, which wallet program can be secured if this is the case? Electrum has recently been worried, so I don't know how to stop on a secure wallet or maybe cold? where there is a paper wallet generator for BSV? Do you know if there are tutorials for using BSV functions? Many questions would be happy to be able to exchange my little shitcoins BTC Core and ETH for BSV.

ElectrumSV, Centbee, Cashpay, Handcash.

One of should do

2483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: April 22, 2019, 01:42:48 PM
The markets have decided what is bitcoin and what is not.

No. The markets have decided which chain it is that is currently preferred by the preponderance of participants. It has nothing to do with the question of 'what is bitcoin'.

Trolls have a very static mind. Its too hard for them to see that our world is very dynamic and things are changing, especially in the electronic world, when things cannot scale for world wide adoption.
2484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Original Satoshi Vision on: April 22, 2019, 12:41:17 PM
Hello BSV community, which secure cold wallet allows to store BSV on a device? My Ledger Nano does not support BSV is embarrassing Cry

How about a paper or plain usb stick wallet? Air gapped pc is also fine.

any invention is evil because it creates a need for invention, good and money is also evil for this reason. BSV is the most honest coin, she has the evil is depicted in the avatar Smiley

all other coins are scams, spreading evil under the guise of good Smiley

Try to invent anything inside the smtp consensus protocol and learn what will happen.

The protocol must be the thinnest and most neutral one, stable and scalable to allow any kind of invention u might speak above.

So what is the best plan for Bitcoin protocol then?

In this excellent video, apparently @ChicoCrypto succinctly summarizes the false volume and wash trading reports of Bitwise Asset Management and Blockchain Transparency Institute, while detailing it seems that Binance's use of robots for wash trading:

https://youtu.be/xsWSaQqK1dE?t=320

At least there is no wash manipulation with BSV.

Yeah, it's pretty heavy proof.
To request the opening of the investigation from CFTC try this road: https://forms.cftc.gov/Forms/TipsAndComplaints.aspx

Binance was one of the handful of exchanges deemed not to be engaging in price manipulation by Bitwise, who are launching their own bitcoin etf based on the findings of their report, so sure, feel free to report a Chinese exchange to an American agency and see how much they care.

More alternative facts from Nutildah. Binance has been on the run since day 1.

Binance currently has no official headquarters and tries to keep locations secret for security reasons. However, we do know they maintain offices and servers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. With legal uncertainty in the Asia Pacific, Binance will move from Hong Kong island to the island of Malta.

While an exchange may be registered in one country, it’s made up of millions of users, many of which are likely to be American. If you think team America world police is going to let Binance run their casino and continue to cater to Americans without penalty, you are grossly misinformed.

just a bump on this quote.

... a reasoned preference for the principles that Satoshi instilled in Bitcoin from the outset. Especially seeing as the parties that fuckitated the original protocol are by and large economic ignoramuses who made public pronouncements in Bitcoin's early days that it 'just plain couldn't work'.

One need not idolize CSW in order to have a reasoned preference for the principles that Satoshi instilled in Bitcoin from the outset.

Bitcoin is allowed to evolve without your permission and only a concrete headed shlub would insist that Bitcoin Craig is a truer version of bitcoin than bitcoin.

You can keep being wrong all you like, and the markets will continue proving that you are wrong.

more alternative facts from nutildah today.

There is NO LEGAL definition in ANY COUNTRY as to what constitutes bitcoin, therefore there is no right or wrong.

Telling someone they are wrong based on their personal definition of bitcoin is a dictatorship.

This troll is really desperate. Trolling over in bsv or here in bch, doesn't matter.  Spending time with nonsense posts and untrue content.

Ignore is a good option here..

Why are these seeking Malta or even decentralized exch?

Too many issues with casino exchanges. This is all bad for proper crypto adoption, the global path.

Stay clean and head for regulations and scaling, the rest will come top down. Or never
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Original Satoshi Vision on: April 19, 2019, 08:37:38 PM

BSV was always the attack against the multi blockchain world, all that non scaling coins, that's a bold attack against casino exchanges as well.  No wonder they try to keep that away. But the fear action tells a lot.

2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Original Satoshi Vision on: April 19, 2019, 11:50:01 AM

Personally, I don't know which ones a best entry point for Bitcoin SV.
Can you help me, please.
I think that now is good moment, the price is very attractive now.

Prices continue to decline every month so they will get losses if they invest for the long term, too risky

Lol. Speculation and future prediction is such lost brain time.

Building a scalable base protocol and use on top is not.  Thats my prediction

Top up and use,  this is the future.

The masses should not even notice that bsv is securing their transactions

Exchanges with fake volume and no regulations are cancer for decent adoption anyway

Just who do you suppose is my 'idol dev'?

Faketoshi, of course. You wish you were best friends, admit it.

Is that a hard call? Can I throw it in your face in three years?

It might still have a functioning blockchain in 3 years, but it will be out of the top 20 coins by market cap. Guaranteed. Yes you can find this post and throw it in my face in 3 years if I'm wrong.

Lindy says ten years and counting. And up 18% on the day. Not too shabby so far.

Don't know who that is, don't care. And we both know BCH is getting pumped by fork fanbois bailing on SV. Its still quite a ways below the 10% of BTC price mark that lends it the slightest shred of respectability.

Much like SV, BCH is based on a lie. The lie being that it is bitcoin. That's why neither coin will succeed.

There is no legal definition as to what constitutes bitcoin. Any third party exchange or coinmarketcap can call crypto’s whatever the fuck they want and idiots like yourself will believe the source of news. Find me any court ruling in any country who has declared the btc chain as bitcoin and I will shut up. Until then your post is fake news.

BTC is bitcoin ===> everyone knows this :-D

bTcSegwit has lost all the relevant features of Bitcoin, everyone noticed this. :]
2495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of Offchain Solutions for Crypto Coins on: April 18, 2019, 01:29:10 PM
Bitcoin and ist usability was never about ppl - so better discuss tech and economics only -
thats  where is the way where u can be separate to trolls - who only can do that name calling crap.    not my fields

you usually spot the people who dont do technical research/code reading. and just wanna name names. they intensify their efforts when certain events like roundtables, consensus conferences and code-a-thons occur because they want to get people talking about faketoshi and not actual bitcoin technicals.

windfury has moved into the troll group that loves the namecalling finger pointing buzzwording foolishness that whenever something technical is mentioned the main reply is just 'wrong because X said it'

as for windfury with his endless pastes of 'no iou' no 'pegged coins'
if he just done research on the difference between bitcoins CLTV tx  vs LN's HTLC tx he will see the IOU
if he just done research on the difference between bitcoins satoshis  vs LN's msats he will see the pegged tokens

but its been pages of discussion and weeks-months of opportunity for windfury to do some independant bitcoin research.. and yet he declines

It is very hard - as all Bitcoiners should know - to find a decent consensus - not only for code, but also about to talk about

If things get too techy - too many are lost

if things get too economics  -- same

We are human and started talking about ppl and their soap opera - there most  can be found / locked in talking about - trolling.

-In the end, it is about us to properly educate and WORK on shifting up the level of consens / discussion that many can get it.

PoW

Newbies, I encourage you to listen to Khaos77. Cool

Learn.

FTFY,

You know I provide links, so anyone reading my posts should also read the links.
This will help them form their own opinion, which for those with an IQ>70 will come to the same conclusion I did.
(Also they can use google to confirm, it is called research, if they so choose.)
Those like windfury with an IQ<70 , won't understand anything, don't research anything, and will continue to rail against logical thought.
Sad , but as the old saying goes , you can't fix stupid.

No you can't, and I know I'm the most stupid in the forum, and you're the smartest. But nothing in the links you provide, with all its techno-babble, proves that there are "IOU pegged promises to pay tokens" in Lightning.

No , not  the smartest, Most likely in the Top 30 however.  Cheesy
You don't have to be Einstein to see the truth.

IOU are Promises/contracts to Pay,
All LN does is make promises/contracts to pay, and at the end , hopefully allow those promises to be redeem onchain.

If that one simple thing is over your head , then so be it.

But for you to continue to rail against what is completely apparent, shows a psychosis that is borderline requiring an institution.
Where they give you a coat that ties in the back.  Cheesy

So finally Bitcoin is not sth easy to get. It touches so many fields - mostly now as a financial instrument / commodity

This is true. There's some people in the community that are so lost that they readily believe some Australian guy is Satoshi Nakamoto because he said he is, after credible people in the community were saying that he's not. Cool

Bitcoin and ist usability was never about ppl - so better discuss tech and economics only -

I dont get it.
Craig is not Satoshi..
Unless he signs a message using a known address owned by Satoshi… He is not him.

There is no proof of Craig being Satoshi.

And the line I saw above "There is no proof Craig isn't Satoshi" is the dummest thing I have ever read.

Try and act like adults and not children.
