^ I hope people will think twice before joining if they don't want to use escrow or pay upfront. : /
But at least it's a weekly campaign so people won't lose a lot if they run away.
2502  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russell Brand Throws A Hissy Fit After Being Asked About The Price Of His Home on: December 06, 2014, 05:09:32 PM
Its good news for brand really, the argument by the sun is terrible, brand gets more hits off the back of it.  They are either stupid or want to send people his way.

Brand should let poor people visit his home, making his point even more valid. He will get exponentially more hits and make more money on the back of the naive. Win-Win for him  Wink

You're not making much sense here. : / So what if he's rich and has a great home? If he gave all that up, would that change a lot for other people? Maybe it would help a couple of people, but not much more. For real change to happen, more people need to be active and informed about problems in society, and I think that is what he is doing right.

London used to be a big and a dirty place because of heavy industries. Rich people would build amazing castles and manors away from London. The working class would try to live as close as possible to their factory.

Fast forward 90 Years. England does not produce anything anymore. Now it is fashionable to be rich and live in London. Homes owned by the descendants of that old working class are pushed to sell and move out (the value is up, taxes, cost of living in the capital, etc). That put more and more pressure to the (above poor not quite) middle class.

Before, rich people chose to stay away from the capital as much as possible, poor people had no choice. Now rich people like russell brand can have a home in the capital AND have a home away from the capital. Poor people in 2014 still have no choice. Because he is famous other rich cheerleaders may even elect to buy near where he lives, pressuring poor people around him even more.

I have NOTHING against russell brand's money, to the contrary. He is supposed to be talented and was compensated for it, a lot of people love him for obscure reasons. He did not steal his money.

But russell brand is the very definition of what gauche caviar looks like...  Smiley

So your critique of him is only that he has things in common with other rich people, while doing work to help others and expose problems in society. But you didn't answer my point, what difference would it make if he only had a house in the suburbs or whatever? Would he be able to help more people that way, if that is what he wants to do?

2504  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you sell your account for $$$? on: December 05, 2014, 12:39:31 PM
I see no point of selling it, what do you get in return? (name recognition?) what else

Many people buy accounts with higher rank to participate in the signature campaigns and get more bitcoins. I think that is the most common reason for selling accounts.
Some others buy them to use in scams later. : /

@meowball something can still get past : / it's safer to have an antivirus than not.
2507  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a Small job! on: November 30, 2014, 08:54:35 PM
I'm looking for a small job that would get me anything above 0.001BTC.. I can offer exceptional C++ skills, and writing articles, I've got an English minor
and English is my native language! I'd be happy to join any company or anything as long as I can start somewhere..

Thanks everyone!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Services Offered:

Intermediate C++ Programming: 0.01 - 0.05BTC
Writing Articles [500 Words+]: 0.03 - 0.05BTC
Writing Articles [500 Words-]: 0.01 - 0.02BTC

TRANSLATION
English - Spanish (and vice versa): 0.03 - 0.06BTC

Maybe it's a good idea to limit how many words you will translate for that price. If not you might be given entire books to translate for 0.06 btc. xD
2508  Other / Off-topic / Re: Use picture to describe your current mood! on: November 30, 2014, 01:51:21 PM

My current mood is well described in this image! xD
2509  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon millions of men will be having sex with female robots on: November 30, 2014, 12:58:46 PM
A lot of men cannot even get an erection for their wives anymore, thanks to porn.  No man will get an erection for his fat 5/10 wife if he has a 9/10 hot robot to bang at any time he wants.   Cheesy

For now the robot is like a moving 9/10 hot inflatable doll! xD
So I think a fat 5/10 wife will still be appealing to some lol. At least she will be real.
2510  Other / Off-topic / Re: What has Facebook done to society? on: November 30, 2014, 12:51:27 PM
A related question: when Facebook will end?

( Because I'm quite sure sooner or later people will become bored using it...  Grin )

When some other site takes over by doing what Facebook is doing, but better I think.
It's true that it is still useful sometimes, so there is no reason for people to get tired of using it.
2511  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get into heaven for free - no cost, 100% free on: November 30, 2014, 09:13:17 AM
I talk to him outside the forums.  He says he was permanently banned.

Does not make sense.

It makes perfect sense. He's made it perfectly clear he has no intention of paying back his debt on here, he's just wrote it off. Why should he be allowed to just stroll around the forum like nothings happened? What example does that set for others?

I couldn't have written it better.  He wants to use this community but he doesn't respect the community.  Good riddance.

But he can just create another account and continue to use the forum anyway. At least everyone knew what to expect from that account. : /
And what about all the others who are around and aren't paying their debts?
2512  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Believe The Bible To Be Historically Accurate? on: November 30, 2014, 08:33:13 AM
Yes! Many educated people assume that science and modern scholarship have thoroughly discredited the Bible and relegated this ancient text to the dustbin of history.
 See more at: http://www.tomorrowsworld.org/magazines/2006/march-april/can-you-believe-bible

Lol so much nonsense in that site! xD

But which books of the bible are we talking about here? Many were written many decades after the events, and some obviously aren't accurate like genesis and others.
2513  Other / Off-topic / Re: What has Facebook done to society? on: November 30, 2014, 07:45:08 AM
I dont like Facebook for a basic reason, it makes people unsocial. They cant be bothered to go out and meet up but would rather spend time chatting on it.

If people are chatting on it they aren't really being unsocial lol. More like lazy I think! xD
But the main problem is that everything you do is recorded and the government and companies can use that information as they want. : /
2514  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who remembers his complete Bitcoin address? on: November 29, 2014, 11:31:51 PM
I have a few (4 to 5)  addresses from which I remember the last 3 characters. That's enough for me.

Most of my addresses are used only once, so there is no need to remember them.

I also use most of my addresses only once and create more when I need to for something else. Isn't this safer than always using the same one?  : /
I don't know if there is a lot of risk in not doing this lol but it's not a lot of work either.
2515  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 29, 2014, 05:34:41 PM
Another one!!

ActionCrypto.com (Thread)
Payment period: Weekly
Minimum posts: Min 20 posts, max 100 posts
Payments: N: 0.000045 BTC/post; J: 0.000065 BTC/post; M:0.00015 BTC/post; F/ S/ H/ L: 0.0002 BTC/post.
Escrow: Redsn0w (to be confirmed)
Miscellaneous: Personal Message to be added as well. Premium rate for posts in non english sub forums.
these rates are very low and will primarily attract lower level participants IMO

But the more competition the better. xD
And they give you the option of just using your private message while using other signatures, and increase pay for posts in non English sub forums, so that's just extra pay lol.
2516  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get into heaven for free - no cost, 100% free on: November 29, 2014, 05:22:04 PM
Why was dank banned after posting this thread?

He was? I think there is no way to tell if someone is banned, right? : /
Unless he created another thread complaining about it. xD

And the title of this thread should be how to live well for free lol if you then go to heaven, even better.
2517  Economy / Services / Re: ➫ ➬ Lucky Bit Signature Campaign ★ Earn up to 0.1BTC every month ★ Open Now! on: November 29, 2014, 04:24:15 PM
@Samix that was because you posted in several 14 day periods and your post count is less than the maximum activity you can have.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.0

@stingleword then you should at least tell the admins about it, if activity isn't working right. : /

luckyb.it signature open spot for you guys
grab it fast lol
check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671689.0
good luck then
i was apply but damn bad for me ,, Sad my history post looks bad for they
They have 8 open spots. Their campaign manager has very strict/random rules and routinely does not pay and routinely kicks people out. They appear to be the most common campaign that has open spots. IMO there is a reason for this.

I haven't joined their campaign, only following the thread, but they seem to pay if people follow the rules. They do have far more rules than the other campaigns however. xD
But most people seem to trust them and spots always get taken very quickly.
2519  Economy / Services / Re: Selling My Signature Space ( Full Member ) on: November 28, 2014, 11:32:51 PM
I have to say hero or legendary took some time and work, they are the most well know. And will most likely get the offers for their signatures. I always wondered about their posts and their activity how many times can you post for it to count as a level up Smiley does it also depend on your title of how many you can post day/week/month.   I see posts of 600 and activity 400. What's calculated?

Activity doesn't depend only on posts. You have to post at least once every 14 day period for your activity to raise 14 points. And each rank is given based on activity.
You can see how it is calculated in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.0

You have to see the second post in this thread to know if there are open spots. And you have to make a bet in the site first. xD
