I was not saying it was a bug. I was used to have that in the other rooms, and I knew that it was possible to ask to see the hand on a showdown even when a player mucks his hand. Did not know that it was only supposed to be used when a player suspects collision, and that if someone abused of this request could be asked to leave the table.

Well no problem then, It was more a convenience than an issue.

Hello, I've noticed that when I play poker and there is a showdown, that I won't be able to see that cards when a player looses and mucks his hand.
Normally when there is a showdown the players in the hand can request to see the cards even when a player mucks.

To make this possible, normally the software mucks the hand on the interface, but keeps it visible on the history, but I've noticed that your software does not do this.

Hope you can solve this in future updates, since this is an important part of the game. Sometimes I like to pay on the river just to get some info on my opponents and I can't do that like this. If I win the hand I won't know what he was holding, and sometimes that is exactly what I'm paying for.
2164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Soccer Games on: August 11, 2015, 11:07:39 AM
You will be the one choosing the games? I though anyone could choose a game and place a bet, and then just wait for someone to bet against him.

I think you could make it even more "exotic", and allow payers to "become" a bookie themselves.
Something like this:

I say that in the game Team A vs Team B
Team A will have the first corner and the first ball on the bar and I will bet 'x' btc on it at 'y' odds.
And that will be on your website waiting for someone to match it.

You can make it simple and limit the options of course, just saying that it would be fun, because like this people could make any kind of fun bets that they are just not allowed to do on a regular sportsbook.
2165  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kind of soccer bets? on: August 11, 2015, 10:52:17 AM
I don't think that you should take other opinions in these things , just do what you think you are best at

I think he is probing the market. There is nothing wrong about that. If he just tried to do something without trying to know if there would be interest for others, he would risk doing work for "nothing" (creating sites etc).

Anyway I think it could work, most sports bet houses offer the same thing, and don't have more "exotic" options like first corner etc. Sometimes I bet on those for fun on betfair, and I can't do it in btc.

I think in first goal you would have the same problem. The odds are not 50/50 there, only in a very balanced game.
If you want something close to 50/50 the corner would be the best option, and of course that even there the favorite team would have the advantage, but a corner can easily happen for any team so it could be ok to gamble with that.

(Also maybe you should explain your idea with more detail, or leave the link of the other thread here. I know what the poll is about, but if I came here first I would have no idea.)
2169  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Soccer Games on: August 10, 2015, 10:48:58 AM
I'm not sure people will be attracted by this because odds most of the time are not even, so someone will be winning less than he should if he made a normal bet on a sportsbook. Why did you choose that market and not something else, like first team getting a corner or something like that, that is close to 50/50.
2170  Economy / Gambling / Re: EarnBtcFaucet's Soccertips[also post your own prediction] on: August 09, 2015, 10:16:55 AM
I will post my own tip for today.
Don't know if you are familiar with Portuguese football, but today S. L. Benfica and Sporting are playing for the Portuguese Super Cup.
I would go for Sporting. Although Benfica is the champion in title for the last championship, Sporting was reinforced much better than Benfica and have their former coach, which is obvious a good advantage. In the pre-season Benfica was playing poorly and Sporting seems pretty ok.

They are both top teams from Portugal, and Benfica is normally favorite compared to Sporting, but not on this season.

So Portugese Super Cup: Benfica vs Sporting - @Sporting to win

BETCOIN POKER! BEST SOFTWARE AROUND!

BETCOIN.AG
https://www.betcoin.ag/?a=2890

I like to play poker om bitspoker and pokershines.
Very good websites. On pokershibes you can buy with rakeback dogecoins.

I'm sorry but I think you are a bit off topic. Please cast your vote and leave your comments about poker rooms in this thread.
This one was just to see what the community thought about applying a similar model to the Ipoker network on BTC poker rooms.

Thank you.

Hello! Is there any ref link that I can give to friends, so they can be associated with my account and I can get some kind of bonus?
Or there is no such promotion in betcoing.ag?

I searched my account and the site and found nothing, but that is normally something common in poker rooms etc so maybe I'm looking wrong.
Thank you!

bah... I guess you all know what to do now. I give one tip and you do the opposite and you will win :/
2175  Economy / Gambling / Re: AJAX VS RAPID WIEN on: August 05, 2015, 06:00:14 PM
Both teams lost important players and are rebuilding their teams. Shaktar is the favorite but lost players like Douglas Costa and Luiz Adriano, and although Fernerbache lost Emenike, Emre, etc, got some very good ones and like Nani and Souza, Van Persie, so I think they they might be ok.

One thing is sure both teams have a very good offense and since the first hand ended 0-0, they will have to risk more, and after a goal I think their offensive football will take control.
So in conclusion I think there will be some goals in this match and I will go for Fernerbache even if they are not the favorite team, but I think the market was good for them and they will probably win.
2176  Economy / Gambling / Re: AJAX VS RAPID WIEN on: August 04, 2015, 08:49:37 PM
Ajax are out of the Champions League then, in the qualifiers, I can't believe they've been knocked out before they even got into the group stage. Shocking stuff, to Rapied Wien aswell, they're an average side.

I thought Ajax were supposed to be a competent side, I lost money on this one damn it.

Damn, I really did not expect this as well. Everything went against my prediction lol. Rapid scored way too soon and the game was completely different. I guess they did not prepare the game well for that early goal.
Oh well better luck next time.
2177  Economy / Gambling / Re: AJAX VS RAPID WIEN on: August 04, 2015, 05:52:41 PM
Well Ajax is the favorite, and since they got a draw in the first game for 2-2 they don't have to risk a lot. So I don't think it's a game for to many goals (at least in the first half). Of course if it's still 0-0 or something like that, late in the second half rapid will have to risk and anything can happen, so I wold not go for the under/over market.

Ajax is a better team and has the advantage do I would just go for a win for Ajax, they can control the game and have a good offensive team so they will probably score first and win.
2178  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of BTC Poker on: August 03, 2015, 03:19:10 PM
Most likely they do not want to deal with bitcoin or a skin would have been made already. Must be protecting what they have from all being taken out in a sweep the rug movement.

Things keep going this rate poker online will die a slow death.

I'm sorry what are you saying?
I was not suggesting that Ipoker would "adopt" btc poker rooms. I don't even think that works that way. I was saying that betcoing.ag, swc, luckyflop, etc etc, and all those small btc poker rooms could create a common poker network like Ipoker, so all the few players they have would then become a "decent" number of players, and we would all win with that.

I suspect most of the players playing on betcoin.ag, swc, luckyflop etc.....etc.......are all the same group of players.

In other words, if you see 200 players on betcoin, 200 on swc, and 200 on luckyflop........dont be mistaken thinking there are 600 unique people playing btc poker.  More likely its the same core group of 200 playing with an account on each site.

It's not entirely like that. For now I only have an account on betcoin.ag and swcpoker, and there is a big difference in both houses. I login on both and I can multitable from time to time on betcoin.ag, although in different blinds which is not the same thing (because of bankroll management and variance, like things can be good on all 3 micro stakes, and some bad luck on the mid stake table would ruin the session), and the max I can do if I'm lucky is to be in 4 tables at once, but I can't do that in swcpoker, it has much less players at the table.

I would play on both of them at the same time if I could since I can't get the desirable amount of tables in just one house but even like that I can't quite play the way I like, so I don't think that all the base players are the same.
2179  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of BTC Poker on: August 03, 2015, 10:21:20 AM
@nikona Maybe they received another letter from visa or mastercard saying they weren't making enough money out of it. Or it was all just a marketing move for them to get more attention. The change is only effective 10 September though.

Yes the code would have to be rewritten, or a new service would have to be created (one that would offer the new network and the "skins"). If they afford to have one client and be in one network I see not problem to change that client and network for the new client (skin) and be on the new network (the shared one).

As for trust I can't answer it. I'm not providing a service, and if someone would offer something like this I could not speak for them either. Maybe it should be "easier" since now you could point out one company that was providing the network and the client, but trust can always be broken and scams can always happen anywhere, so I can't answer that.

That's true. But what I'm saying is all that hits small sites the worst. Why risk those changes and paying more for new clients and network when gains would probably be modest at best? Larger sites may have more reason to take those chances. But try talking directly to them. Think they all have threads in the forum. See what they have to say about it.

I'm having trouble understanding your definition of small sites and larger sites. Would you consider betcoin.ag, swcPoker, nitrogensports, and lucky flop, small or large sites? Like I said I'm new in btc poker that's why I created a thread to get the opinion from the users in the forum, so I could know what were the best sites of btc poker.
You can see the thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1128785.0

Those were some of the most voted ones, so I started there. So my question to you is, are this large site or small sites?
2180  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of BTC Poker on: August 02, 2015, 08:09:52 PM
If/when Pokerstars accepts BTC deposits with low/zero fees it will be great for BTC.

Everytime you deposit there now you pay ~3% in fees.

That is not really the problem. Neteller already accepts btc, so you can deposit anywhere with btc. And there are already many poker rooms that accept btc deposits, some of them in the Ipoker network. They don't have tables, or let you have a balance in btc, but I don't think they will do it (actually if they do that would be for btc, but it would be the end for these small rooms lol). They would do it if they thought they were losing some clients to btc poker rooms, but they wont lose clients because you cant play poker for real in btc poker rooms because of the number of players.

So yes we can talk to people and try to make them experience btc poker rooms, but we can't get them to stay without the number of players they need to play the way they like. And that can only be achieved if the btc rooms unite in the same network (that was the main reason why Ipoker was created, because that was the only way to get players from pokerstars etc. It's really just a matter of copying a success story lol).

AFAIK Neteller is about to change the BTC deposit fee to 5%, if you deposit through Neteller on Pokerstars you lose another 3%, 8% for depositing? Hell no.

Also the daily limit is like $375 at this moment, some high stakes players need to deposit/withdraw thousands to hundreds of thousands.

About a year ago I read on twoplustwo that Pokerstars was testing stuff to add BTC deposits etc. Maybe with them being sold to a gambling corporation is the reason why they still not accept it.

Pokerstars is the biggest poker site with the biggest volume, biggest tournaments etc. Them accepting BTC would be huge.

Yes it would I don't argue with that, and I hope they do it eventually. Actually if that ever happens it will probably be "the end" of all the small btc poker rooms. They do let us play in btc, but I don't think that would be enough.
