1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 01, 2015, 02:23:24 PM
Ok here is my tip for today:

Southampton v Bournemouth
Southampton @ 1.59
Both teams to score, Yes @ 1.83

I think Southampton has been doing their job well at home, at least vs bottom teams, so I think they will win this one.
Bournemouth on the other hand need points but has been losing away, so they will risk probably risk it but I don't think they will make it.
Both teams don't usually end with a clean sheet so I think both teams to score is a decent bet as well.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: October 31, 2015, 06:26:58 PM
Today picks for Spanish league:

Sociedad v Celta Vigo
Draw No Bet, Celta Vigo @ 1.99

Celta Vigo is doing decent results away, so I take my chances in this one.

Getafe v Barcelona
Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.51

Barcelona has been a disappointment away this season for now, so I can't see any value @1.29
I will risk the over 2.5
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 31, 2015, 06:14:01 PM
Wolfsburg vs Schalke I would go with both teams to score.
Safest bet with best probability.
If you wanna risk a bit more go with over 2,5 goals.

Seems to be going well for you xD
I think I will go for a live bet on this one
Wolfsburg @ 3.2 (wish me luck, one more goal for Wolfsburg and we both get happy xD)
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 31, 2015, 06:08:49 PM
We (LFC) are back. What a win today, Klopp is making us dream again. Such a great team performance, we're not the best team but it's nice to have hope again, with Rodgers there was no hope. Klopp is here & we have belief again.

Hopefully Mourinho gets sacked now, the ass hole Cheesy

He is only getting so far because he is Mourinho. Any other coach would already be sacked by now I think.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 31, 2015, 06:03:09 PM
Ok my pick for today

Inter vs Roma

I think both teams are doing well so it will be balanced match. There has been many goals lately when Roma plays, so they might want to change that and play more safe, so I will go for under 2.5, although statistics say otherwise. As to pick a winner is very hard to say, so I will go for draw no bet market and pick Roma.

Draw No Bet, Roma @1.82
Under 2.5 @1.95

O meu link: https://www.coinbase.com/join/bitcoinpt

Isso parece interessante, mas no link não fala desses valores. A promoção ainda está activa?
No site aparece que se me registar por alguém, tanto eu como a pessoa por quem me registo, recebem 10 euros (assumindo que comprei 100 euros)
1850  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: II FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- on: October 29, 2015, 12:25:32 AM
Hi. this competition is great but also i think its not FAIR ENOUGH ! Huh If you look at the leader boards table you can see participants with smaller bankrolls are at the top of standing. but why? because of a simple reason! they can take more RISKS due to their smaller bankroll! they place their bets with little money continuously and Waiting for a chance! So to have a fair competition i think must be a MINIMUM LIMIT for bankrolls. for example 100 mbtc or 50 mbtc Or any other reasonable amount. good luck  Smiley

The only reason why we don't have a minimum bankroll is to allow anyone to enter. We rewarded those who took a bigger risk with a large bankroll by giving them better prizes and freebets.
I understand what you are saying, an we will take that into consideration, but you must really understand that what you can do with a small bank you can do with a big one. So what really should be happening is that the smaller banks should be thinking, maybe I can trust my bets and use a bigger one to increase my profit next time.

Imagine if sanerin played with 1 BTC bankroll, and made exactly the same bets. His ROI% would be the same, and his profit would be really good. So in my opinion players should be able to trust their skill.
Anyway like I said, we will take your opinion into consideration.
If he use 1btc as bank roll.. i believe he will think dozen times before make that 50+ multiplier toto parlay with maximum bet. Smiley
I guess next time with minimum bank roll would be fair enough. Just saying. Wink

From my point of view I agree with you but I can't say that FrueGreads is not right. The thing is, at least in my case, I can't play with 1 BTC bankroll, so of course I would never risk it, and in my case I did 15% ROI on the last competition, and I'm on 25% ROI on this one, so I don't trust my betting skills. But I do understand that those who are doing well maybe should trust their skills. They made a large amount of bets and got those amazing ROI%, so I understand FrueGreads when he says that people should put those emotions behind and just trust their skills.

I always heard in the trading and poker world that what you can do with a big bank you can do with a small one. We normally use that so that we start with small banks to test our skills and then move up to bigger banks. So I think that is exactly what should happen here. People tested their skill with safe banks, and now should move to bigger banks.
And if what you can do with a small bank you can do with a big one, that would also mean that this competition is not unfair. The problem is in our minds really.
1851  Economy / Gambling / Re: Safest method to double your coins? on: October 29, 2015, 12:17:37 AM
Sports betting has some good chance to make nice profit by betting there if you have good knowledge about playing and wise to choose a team to place bet than it is possible.

No sports betting honestly is probably the toughest out there. Its very easy when you are watching the game in your head thinking what the store will be. But once you place money on bets, its very difficult to win.

Well I can't do it very well with sports betting, and I do it much better in poker. But I don't think sports betting is harder. It is for m, but I think many people can do it. If you check the tipsters competition of directbet, there are many bettors above the 200% ROI, sou they doubled their money.
1852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Investing on: October 29, 2015, 12:12:56 AM
if i were you i wouldnt invest in any dice websites as at any time they might turn to a scam and runaway with all your money
scam can happen anywhere any investment has risk , a bank also risk scam  Grin

That's true. A dice site investment is like any other. You have to do the research first and there are chances the site will go bankrupt, but what are we even talking about here? If bitcoin dies all those casinos will disappear along with it.

That is true if BTC dies so does all those gambling sites. But on the other hand I think one thing that will keep BTC alive if the gambling industry as well. They have a very good synergy in my opinion.
1853  Economy / Gambling / Re: Safest method to double your coins? on: October 28, 2015, 06:25:01 PM
Let's see whats your safest method to double! Wink

My was Betting at Directbet on odds of 2+ but now it's Bitvest, not safest but still a safe play on red bar!
POST yours Cheesy

I would prefer to bet at directbet as well. If you know what your doing and see value in a 2+ odd, then it should be worth the risk.
1854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Investing on: October 28, 2015, 06:23:43 PM
Where do you think is the best place to invest in dice website? Into new and unknown website with small bankroll or in trusted but with huge bankroll website?

Well there is always the risk of a scam so I think the trusted website would be the better approach. But I do see the appealing in using a small bank in a new website, since they will probably try to increase their player base with very good and aggressive promotions that could be very rewarding.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 28, 2015, 06:21:26 PM
Earning depends on factors like game, time, budget. You can make a decent profit in short term but in long term it all depends on knowledge and luck of course.

In the short term it depends on luck and time factors but as far as the long term experience is concerned it completely depends on your knowledge and practical exposure ofcourse luck is a strong factor but practice makes it perfect .Even the best gamblers had to lose all their chips at times regardless of the luck or exposure .Fact is its gambling, its a short cut!

Why do you say even the best gamblers had to lose all their chips at times? You mean losing their entire bankroll? I never heard most professional gamblers to say anything like that. Most of them in poker and sports betting say that they started low, and just kept going and now can make a steady income with that. They win and lose of course, but never went bankrupt.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Daily Bet Predictions on: October 28, 2015, 06:19:02 PM
Always nice to see tipsters threads, specially in games different from football. I'm always trying to explore new markets but I'm not familiar with those sports so I need some advice.
By the way, do you think you can put some stats to mark your progress?
1857  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: II FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- on: October 28, 2015, 06:14:21 PM
wow Sanerin 1043.99 ROI% ?? For real xD
Hope to see you in the next competition, I'm pretty sure you will have many followers on the next one!
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: October 27, 2015, 03:02:41 PM

16m people is not a small number considering all the European countries. There are countries with just 8-9m people that have pretty decent teams. I guess it just depends on the quality of the youth academies and stuff  Cool

Yes I said that. There are so many academies in Holland and they can learn how football can play. Maybe it depends on generations to have talented players but they can have good players who can be in team base playings.

Right. Turkey has 80 million people but government don't care young talents. If you don't have "uncle" in the government you are nothing to them.

This concept also applies to other countries, like mine, unfortunatly.
This apply to many developing countries where talent never works only uncles or approach work and its worst thing for wast of talented peoples

Well that might be true for low level clubs, but in some point, at least in sport that just wont do it. Skill will always prevail in sport, since if you lack talent everyone will notice and criticize, and eventually you have to go (I will not talk about dopping though, that is of course one way to get through sport without talent).

i dont totally believe this , some countrys really take care about the talents , but most of the sports authority of that countrys selection committee dont see the talent only they also want some income so they also see under the table spirit...

Most of the developed countries are more conscious about their youth and talents to make them achieve in international levels. In Asia some developing countries also encouraging young talents to get forward in international sports arena.

To be honest, and as a future professional in the area, since I'm studying sports science and I picked the high performance coaching area, the problem in youth sport is that most coaches just see their work with youth as a ramp for success and a way to reach seniors and bigger leagues. They don't really try to develop talent, they just want to win and get "promoted". That's why many talented players get left behind, because they were at some point in a lower level of biological maturation and just got turned away, because they were not giving immediate results to the coach.
1859  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin price bet ? on: October 27, 2015, 02:53:59 PM
Today it's possible to bet on anything, from weather to the next US president. But would it be possible to bet on Bitcoin price or on any other major crypto-currency price, like Dash, Doge, Ethereum or Litecoin ? With big price movements of Bicoin these past days it could be interesting Smiley.

Why do you want to bet? You could just trade the btc market. I think btc-e.com is probably the biggest trading platform for crypto currencies , but I'm not sure about this.

Because betting gives us more freedom for the payments are odds as compared to trading platforms .Betting is completely based on luck/knowledge at times but trading is totally based on the market behavior that is sensex/economy/inflation the factors that affect the price of the coins .Also at btc-e they have other policies along with them which in long term will make you broke anyway .

Did not know about that. I know betfair has that system, they let you bet on the movement of prices of either currencies or even stocks if I remember right (never used it though). If only they would accept btc.
1860  Economy / Gambling / Re: Triple's Free Sports Picks ~ All Sports ~ Everyday on: October 27, 2015, 02:47:57 PM
5-2

I'm back with a pretty confident play.

Ravens vs. Cardinals
Ravens +10 is the pick!

Question for you, are you saying the Cardinals were favored by 10 points and you are picking Ravens to cover that?  If so I am going the opposite, I don't think they cover it I just wanted to make sure I am understanding your logic correctly.

Yes that's correct. Arizona Cardinals are favored by 10 points. I think the Ravens can cover that.

Damn it wen't almost the exact opposite way :/ (unless I got the bet wrong)
Oh well better luck next time.

I think you got the bet wrong.  He was stating that the Baltimore Ravens would cover the 10 point spread, or in other words.  Lose the game by less than 10 points or win.  The Ravens lost by 8, so he won the bet.

Crap I thought ravens would have to win by 10 or more.
Like I said I don't understand anything about american football, and since I did not found that "point bet", I just put ravens to win and they loss.
Oh well, the pick was good so my bad, I will be more careful next time.
