No. One should never invest what they can't lose let alone gamble with it

It's a normal loan. Like I said if the person has proven he had skill, and showed a good ROI% over a long period off time, it is perfectly normal to make an investment to win even more.
You have plenty of poker learning sites investing in players and promoting a good bankroll management and they get some good profit by some of those players that become sharks in poker. So it's the same here. I have a friend that is very good in sports betting, and he did just that, he shoed his results and asked for an investment. It looked profitable so he got the loan, and he is a professional sports betting trader now and drives a ferrari lol

I don't know if that is the original question but it brings a good point.  If the person is a proven pro, it wouldn't hurt to loan money.  That being said those are few and far between.  More than likely, you are loaning someone with a gambling problem and that can be a problem.

Yes of course, like I said I think it's important to know the difference. In most cases yes, it should be someone with a gambling problem, and in that case I don't think the loan would be correct, but there are some exception like the one I mentioned.

By the way, do you guys know any btc sports betting sites with sign up bonus, that becomes available for betting right away?
Like sports betting fiat sites.

I know that this might not be very common in the btc world because most sight don't require account verification, but maybe there are some exceptions.

The premium pick streak is now really good, also the matches look good as well Smiley
and the stats have pumped up during the last 2 weeks Smiley also even more people are intrested in my picks as well Smiley

what is the premium pick streak? I went to the site but I did not found it. The stats are pretty good though as usual, but I can't find the streak.

I haven't received payment yet. Is only me or any one also not received?

No response to my personal message as well. Appreciate very much for some one to update on this issue.

I've received my payment, it's probably just you. If Victor doesn't reply at first, wait then send him another PM. He's a rather busy person, and isn't always online.

Hoping that at least today he will respond my personal messages. I have sent him 3 messages but so for no response yet.

My experience is that he comes to the forum 1 or 2 times a week, so you might wait a while, anyway even with some delays he always pays, so I would not worry.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CarlesPuyol Sports picks Thread - Hot Picks every day [64Wins V 25Loses] on: October 19, 2015, 04:03:34 PM
New day, New bets, New luck.
Double:
Djurgardens v IFK Goteborg - Draw or Away @ 1.38
Elfsborg v Norrkoping  -  Draw or Away @ 1.64

Total @ 2.25

Norrkoping and Goteborg, 1st and 3nd place in Swidish league, with 60 and 58 points after 27 games.
Both teams are fighting on the championship, and they will do everything to get the 3 points.
The double chance is in case of draw.
High recommended double.

I'm not familiar with Swidhish league, but your explanation makes perfect sense and after seeing their stats I think I will go on that one to.

mrs.van.braam is leading this competition with an ROI of 252.11 % - insane Cheesy

Can anybody catch him/her - there's not that long to go now.

This time I think it's impossible to catch him. It's not just because of the diference between first place and second place, I mean that existed as well in the last competition and many things happened, but he keeps increasing in a consistent manner and keeping the diference so it will be very unlikely that someone will get there. A crazy parlay might do the trick, but I would not put my money on it xD
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: October 19, 2015, 03:53:44 PM
I will go for the:

Sporting Gijon v Granada
Draw no bet, Sporting Gijon @ 1.42

Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.26

Although Gijon is not conceding may goals at home, and Granada is not scoring many goals away in the last games, I think Granada really needs those points so will probably take chances if they get behind, and after that I think there is a chance that the game will end over 2.5. Also I think Gijon won't lose this game, so I like the draw no bet odds.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 19, 2015, 03:45:26 PM
Newcastle Utd haven't won a game in 6 fixtures. Maybe today it's bound to happen finally on home soil  Cool

Well I guess you were right about that xD
I did bet on both teams to score which was good, and I knew the Norwich draw no bet, was a risky bet, but I did not expect such a win by Newcastle lol.

Anyway here are my tips for the

Swansea v Stoke, Both teams to Score? @ 1.88

I think this game is very hard to predict. Swansea is not playing very well but I don't thin they will lose, but the draw no bet odds are very bad, so I will go for the both teams to score market. I would like to take a chance on the over 2.5, but I'm not so sure about that either.

Newcastle v Norwich
Both teams to Score?, Yes @ 1.7

This is the best bet for the match. Both team needs points and will go all out but I think betting ML for newcastle is also a good choice because they are playing at their own stadium

Both teams to score is looking safe and attractive for this match, Newcastle has more good chance to win this match but both teams to score is more safe option for betting on this match.

Yep that's my favourite one, of my two picks.
Why do you think Newcastle is favourite to win this match? Because of the home advantage?
They have been playing so bad, and conceding so many goals that I'm not sure about that. I think there is more value on betting in favour of Norwich, even if they are not the favourite team.

Norwich is playing really bad as well. They need points that is why they will go all out and I think they could win this time. Im gonna take a risk betting draw no bet for them . The risk could bear a great reward

Yes totally agree with you, that's why those were my two picks for that match. I think the draw no bet on Norwich brings a bigger reward, than betting on Newcastle.
1891  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree people barrow money for gambling? on: October 18, 2015, 02:36:43 PM
I will never approve borrowing money to gamble. Gambling for me is a thing to do just for fun, and sometimes win some money, so it is very bad to borrow money to gamble. If anybody is doing this, i would say he has a serious gambling problem, and should seek for help. Gambling is very fun, but it can be very dangerous when you lose money, so if you are gambling or you want to start, set an amount you are willing to spend and stick to it. A real friend would not borrow you money for you to gamble, he would help you to stop gambling.

I think you are exaggerating or not seeing all the scenarios at least. Yes that could be the case, people could be borrowing because they have a problem, and in that case a real friend would try to help him with his problem. But it could also be, that someone has proved his skills (poker or betting skills in my opinion), and could just be trying to increase his bankroll fast to win even more. In that case I would have no problem investing money on that person.
1892  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: October 18, 2015, 02:29:18 PM
Hello I use Multibit Classic and I got a problem with the wallet recently.

I received some strange transactions that were never verified. They somehow got to the circle state, so they were seen by 4 or more peers, but they are not even in the blockchain.info list of transactions.

I wanted to convert my BTC to dollars, but I was afraid that the transaction got rejected and could give me some problems, so I first created another wallet, and tried to send the BTC to that new wallet. I sent a little more than I should be able to spend (since I included some of the strange transactions BTC), so that I could "force" those transactions to be fixed but it just created another transaction that was probably going to stay like that forever.

I then saw the option to reinicialize the transactions on the multibit wallet. It worked in a way, since the "bad" transactions disappeared, but so did all my BTC (at least my balance is 0 now).

How can I solve this?

Thank you.

This is an instance of transaction malleability. Someone is duplicating transactions and altering the signature (in a currently valid way).
Only one of the two transactions confirms. Some nodes are not relaying them.

The 'Tools | Reset blockchain and transactions' is the right way to go as it will reset your wallet to what is on the blockchain. I think the extra transaction you sent may still be on the network though, hence your low confirmed balance. This is most likely technically accurate as, until that transaction confirms MultiBit will not let you spend the change.(As it came in from the network it is not trusted as much - it could be a spoof transaction)

One approach you can try is to create a blockchain.info wallet that contains your wallet's private keys.
There is a how-to here:
https://multibit.org/en/help/v0.5/help_movingAWallet.html

I am not sure 100% blockchain.info will let you spend the change so that you can empty your wallet but as it has the whole blockstore there is a good chance it will.

Thank you, I did that and it worked. I was also able to spend my coins on the blockchain right after I imported the private keys.
After a few days the funds on multibit got updated as well. So it's all good now in both wallets, multibit and blockchain.

Well here are my tips for today:

16:00 Newcastle v Norwich Barclays Premier League
I think they are both playing very bad and need results. It can go either way, although I think Norwich might do better than Newcaste.
Anyway since it's hard to predict I think I will go for the Both teams to score Market, since like I said they will both try to get results, and are conceding a few goals so:

Newcastle v Norwich
Both teams to Score?, Yes @ 1.7

I think I will also try my luck on Norwich, so:
Draw No Bet, Norwich @ 2.1
