Betcoin.ag by far Undecided sorry missed the voting deadline

As Dennis7777 mentioned the vote is still open and it will remain that way, so fell free to come back when you are able to vote.

I will start trying the poker rooms myself and then I will also vote.
For now I started playing at betcoin.ag because it was one of the most voted so far and it has a browser interface so I can play without installing the software.
It seems ok for now. I only played ring games so far, and there aren't to many players at the tables which will probably be a problem in the future. It has plenty of tournaments with a GTD pot which is something I like, I haven't tried them yet but I think I will like the experience, because although I like many players at the cash tables I prefer tournaments with fewer players so I don't have to play them for so long.

The only think I did not like for now was the interface, I don't like the 4 color deck, and the sort feature does not seem to work (at least in the browser version, I will have to try the software).

Keep voting and leaving your feedback, I will try the others as soon as I can.

I don't see that it's necessary to discuss it again since people discussed that a lot in the previous thread  Grin
I voted for betcoin , but as I said before non of the btc sites will totally satisfy you  Cheesy
also I think you should add PlayTodos , it's a new site but seems promising

Can't you add the room? I selected the that option when I created the poll. Users should be allowed to add new rooms to the poll.
If you can't do that please let me know, so I can start adding those rooms, so others can vote.

Same for you, can't you add that option to the poll?
And about the need for discussion, of course that there is no need to repeat what has been said on the other thread, that's why I put the link for it on this one. I only mention that for users that are only participating now, they should of course vote and say why.

As I pointed out in the last thread, other users can't edit the voting options by themselves - only you can do it, as the thread creator. Also, perhaps you confused the option "Allow user to change vote" (which allows a user to change his vote after casting it once), with the possibility of allowing a user to change the voting options? Tongue

Ups you are right. For some reason I read "add" and not "change" (guess I wanted that and my mind tricked me xD)
I will add the new rooms to the poll.

I would recommend vietbet.eu it has many players and gtd tournaments.

You can cast your vote now, I added the room you mentioned.
(also added playtodos as it was recommended by SkyGambler)

I would recommend vietbet.eu it has many players and gtd tournaments.

This discussion started in this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1127239.0

But there was no voting mechanism and after a few suggestions I decided to create this one with a poll. You can continue the suggestions and discussion here, and you can add more poker rooms to the poll.

The objective here is to vote on the poker room you would recommend and explain why, so that it's easier for someone to start trying some btc poker rooms, and with the hope that the player base might start growing in some of the best rooms. For now I believe that most btc rooms have a very small player base and there are many rooms out there, so it's hard to choose one that is reliable and trust worthy.

Went with seals although i've not tried out some of the others and heard betcoin is alright.  When i first got into bitcoin i played a bit at seals and the software was decent and traffic was not bad considering Smiley

Have you tried adding those options to the poll? (you should be allowed to do that)
If you can't let me know and I will add them so you can vote.

I already saw the poll options and I will open a new thread with a poll mechanism. I will list the options here, and I will select the option that allows users to ad more rooms to the poll. I will edit this thread with the link to the new one, so lets keep the suggestions and discussion there.

What kinda voting mechanism is this ? Add a poll in OP.

lol it was not intended to be a vote mechanism, I was just keeping track of the opinions. Did not try the poll because I did not know if you could make a pol with no option lol, and players would just add their option and their vote, and others would follow if they also wanted to vote on that one. If that is not possible, then a poll would be useless because I could not put any room to start with, because the point of this thread was for me to get some advice on the best poker rooms out there (and like I said I did not knew any, because I'm starting the "transition" to btc poker rooms).
2231  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recomended poker rooms on: July 18, 2015, 05:02:09 PM
I would recommend Betcoin.ag mostly , you can play WPN tourneys if you are a betcoin player
but honestly if you don't have a problem with verifying your account and if you are in a country where gambling online is allowed then don't play at btc sites
non of btc poker sites can make you totally happy with their services and usually there is a lack of players

I'm starting to have problems in my country. I believe that most of those sites will solve the problem, at least betfair will, or so I hope.
But although that might be a problem in the future, I still can play in some rooms, but I really wanted to have the option to play in btc poker rooms without conversions to $ etc, that's why I searching for them. Of course if I don't find an option with a good player base I will have to stay with the "normal" ones.
2232  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recomended poker rooms on: July 18, 2015, 10:02:04 AM
Are you looking for the table action or freerolls? I recommend you to try luckyflop. There are alot of freerolls there and some player for the table game. The player base there is not very high like betcoin.ag so if you want a table games go to betcoin.ag instead

I like freerols so I can try the rooms, but I will probably deposit and I want the room to be stable, so it is important that there is good action at ring games, and available sit n go's and multi table tournaments. (I'm pretty sure there is no "poker stars" in the btc world yet, but I'm am looking for something stable that may present as a decent alternative to the big "normal" poker rooms)
2233  Economy / Gambling / Recomended poker rooms on: July 18, 2015, 09:33:26 AM
Hello, I decided to give btc poker rooms a try, and I'm looking for decent poker rooms to play.
I've already searched to forum and saw room that have problem with their player base, and it's hard to find players to play aggainst, I already saw problems with rooms opening and then just closing etc

So I hope you could help and give some feedback on the rooms you trust and that have a decent player base, so I can give it a try.

Thank you!
(no video poker, or casino poker based games, I wanted normal poker rooms)

I will keep a list here, so this thread might be useful and easy to read for everyone.

2234  Economy / Gambling / Re: Signup Bonuses on: July 17, 2015, 01:42:01 PM
I love signup bonuses, I made a lot of money using them. Usually in sports betting and using betfair as well (I would bet in both houses, the one with the signup bonus and then betfair. That way I would cover all the possible results, and since I was using a signup bonus I would only lose a small percent of it because of the difference in the odds, but I would still get a good profit). It was good for me and the houses, since it was a normal bet for them.

Is it easy to get signup bonuses in btc sports betting? I just started but I did not found any yet.
2235  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Do You Play Poker By Yourself? on: July 17, 2015, 01:30:52 PM
What do you think os using this thread (or creating a new one), with the purpose of listing the btc poker sites that trusted and have the biggest player base. I think that could help to "unite" the players and getting a bigger player base to the sites that deserve it.

I'm new to this, I play in "normal" poker rooms, but they are starting to have the problems with license etc (even betfair has stopped to operate in Portugal, although I think they will definitly fix this, since they are a very big site, so I'm sure they will invest and keep the site open). Still I would like to start trying the btc poker sites, but without a good player base and a trusted site it will be hard to make the change.

OP I'm not trying to hijack your thread, I think it is related, but if you want I will open a new one.
2236  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Soccer Picks on: July 16, 2015, 02:06:28 PM
I will keep an eye on your picks. I enjoy seeing a concern with bankroll management, but I have a question. You say 5% per bet which I think it's fine, but how many "multiple" bets do you make per day? With this I mean that if you make a lot of bets without waiting for the others to be settled you will end up risking a lot more then 5%, so what is your limit?
Good luck!
2237  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there any PVP based on skill games out there? on: July 16, 2015, 01:58:00 PM
I'm also looking for pvp games where you can play for btc. I see people here recommending chess, which is a game that I really like, but won't chess have the problem of players just using a software to play for them?

I will definitely try the other sites you are talking about though, but I just don't know if chess is a fair option.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 16, 2015, 01:51:18 PM
I really depends. If it's pure gamble, like casino dice roulette etc, if I hit x3 or x5 I enjoy the luck I had and get out of there xD
But if it poker or sportsbet I would use more money to start with, I would stay there until I double then I withdraw the investment and stay with my profit. I will just keep playing and withdraw in a regular (every x2 would be more than enough) manner trying to increase my skill. If I go to 0 with my profit I will just deposit more when I have the chance, and keep playing until I get the hang of it.
2239  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coining A Dice | Happy Hour, Jackpot, Faucet and more on: July 16, 2015, 01:44:25 PM
Really like the site interface good job. I can definitely stay there for a while without getting tired. Very simple and "calm" design.
I also like the happy hour thing, I will give it a try!
2240  Economy / Gambling / Re: Good and relatively safe dice strategy? on: July 15, 2015, 09:59:37 PM
I'm not an expert, but there can't be a strategy to gamble against a casino. They have the house edge, so they will always win.
If you want to try to make profit by gambling I suggest you invest in poker or sports bet. You can use skill on those games, but you can't use skill on a casino. The only thing you can do in a casino is to accept that if everything goes normal you will lose lol.
If you are ok with that then go for it, have fun, and sometimes you will be lucky and enjoy it even further xD
