2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should humans be free agents in the gambling world? on: March 31, 2019, 02:29:11 PM
The financial freedom that bitcoin itself signifies is also signified by the existence of such anonymous, unregulated gambling institutions. Nobody is forcing anyone to gamble - it's all a matter of responsible choice.
If you are talking about online crypto gambling sites, you are wrong about it. They are still regulated but not in the country you are playing it with. These gambling sites are most likely have been licensed under the jurisdiction of Curacao and the fun thing about e-games gambling licenses is for most countries they are recognized and they don't prohibit their citizens to play with it. If you are part of the countries that don't recognize it they just simply block your IP address so you cannot play in them. Do not have the wrong conception that regulation towards casinos is a bad thing we have that in order to remove abuses in the business at the same time protect us. It's really not about controlling our money its about protecting them.
2502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what guides do you use for trading signals on: March 31, 2019, 01:25:15 PM
Based on how you have written your OP it seems like you are looking for a website to depend on your trades on which is a bad thing to do for a newbie as the prediction is only a guide which sometimes is not accurate and the bad thing about it is it doesn't help you in your entry and exit plans. Also do not depend on this free predictions you will see online because more often then not the service will offer you what they call a "Premium Guaranteed Prediction" that you will need to pay, others also do prediction in order to use you in their plans to pump and dump certain altcoins which you won't gain anything.
2503  Other / Meta / Re: 50 Merits for bounty threads. on: March 31, 2019, 12:18:34 PM
Nice to see you coming out first before it gets more complicated and lead to a merit abuse accusation. I don't know if notthematrix did this deliberately or not but looking at his merit history in his BPIP record it's his first time to ever send a merit and all of that 125 merits the account has sent it was all given to Bounty threads. Let's see we might be dealing with a hack account here from a user as I don't see any reason why a member who has not sent merits in his stay would waste it to bounty threads not unless he intentionally wants to waste it all.
2504  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Looking for Crypto Lawyer in Wyoming on: March 31, 2019, 11:22:33 AM
The problem with accountant, lawyers and whatnot, is that they seem to be as lost as the government itself, everything seems very arbitrary to me with many grey areas, which is why I think hodling is the only sane thing to do still in 2019.
I don't think its that prevalent and if it does you can attribute the problem with miscommunication. As long as they got down to the basics of the concern they will get what the issue is. For lawyers knowing what's the problem is as well as what they are trying to claim will help a lot. For people seeking out help for accountants getting it down to the basics of showing your gains and losses from the trade just like what you will do in other trades such as stocks will help them start their service for you.
2505  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason of Next Financial Crisis on: March 30, 2019, 07:47:21 PM
In a collapse, don't forget to steal the investment bank's money! Wink

If we do enter a serious market fall, like 2008, remember that is time to start looking at stocks to buy. Those holding cash when the market bottoms out are in a position to buy up stocks and ride the growth when the economy recovers. This of course assumes the economy will experience future growth.
This could be a tricky thing to do on a financial crisis and can only be handled by people who have some extra cash lying around for investment. Remember when a financial crises strikes all the basic goods are also affected by price increase and that is why spending will also increase. People know that there is an opportunity to buy cheap assets but only a few can even afford it as most people won't even have the ability to afford it. Not unless people are smart enough to save some money for the event we cannot say everybody can grab that opportunity.
2506  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Netflix for fruits and veggies on: March 30, 2019, 05:25:39 PM
You should at least have introduced Bitcoin payments or a blockchain tech in your service before you even posted your thread here. It made it look like you are just advertising a ordinary service with no relations to cryptocurrency  in a Bitcoin forum. So do not wonder why you are getting a lot of hate and skepticism in your thread, it's natural as you can't even answer their questions straight. There isn't even a hint of a referral system going on in your website so it really looks like you just posted your service here to be promoted.
2507  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NANOCOIN.TECH - FAKE CEO - SCAM on: March 30, 2019, 04:22:34 PM
This dude ain't even the "Tim Cook" every Apple fans know. Are scammers getting really sloppy now? By the looks of it, it seems like they aren't even trying to make their shit believable anymore. Whatever it is I'm glad that they aren't one of those smart enough to get some hard to find pictures while at the same time give their fake CEO a good fake name as it won't make your background check any easier. Let us just monitor if they attempt to create a ANN thread here in the forum.
2508  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-30] Bithumb, leading Korean exchange, hacked again?! on: March 30, 2019, 03:14:18 PM
3.1 Million EOS?Huh That's around 13.2 Million US dollars and I think that number is outrageous specially if those funds are from their clients. With that kind of number I don't think that the South Korean government will be silent on this one and I think big sanctions will be slap on Bithumb especially if they won't do anything to compensate their clients. Another thing that I see the South Korean government is doing is they would seriously change their regulations towards crypto exchanges when it comes to their security, which obviously hasn't improve.
2509  Economy / Reputation / Re: Igor Karavaev - ICOBench Expert - is a Scammer on: March 28, 2019, 08:12:16 PM
But the problem here is we don't even have any proof that is Igor Karavaev's fb account. Chances are he is just talking to a impersonator trying to scam him. And point being is the accoun is recently created and has used Karavaev's exiting photos online. I know that Karavaev has a bad reputation already but I don't think that he will be extorting anyone in this way. So the OP might just be talking to a scammer who is trying to impersonate a scammer.
2510  Economy / Speculation / Re: On whales and their impact on: March 28, 2019, 07:26:15 PM
The price movements we have now couldn't be only attributed to one source, I think its a mix from both the exchanges jacking up the volume at the same time whales dropping the bomb. There is no single force that could make this price changes and its really the chain of events that leads to it. If exchanges manipulate data then yes sure it's an easier way to manipulate the market but the only thing that can change the price is of course real time buying and selling which would really influence the market.
2511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Comparisation with BTC and Other Payments Methods. on: March 28, 2019, 06:27:55 PM
If we still have a lot of content creators, news makers, and people who are voicing out their own opinion we will always see them comparing Bitcoin to other modes of payments. Its just the world works and the only thing we can do is of course keep an open mind with their opinion and not let our emotions take control of the situation.  The only time we can shut the conversation down and walk away is when we know that they themselves don't have an open mind towards BTC, which lately is happening right now with Apple card as a lot of loyalist are comparing it to BTC which is really a far comparison for it.
2512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Video tutorial, Educational Application, Videos Classes, Crypto! on: March 28, 2019, 05:31:59 PM
You should have told us from the start that the app isn't even in English which makes it really not for everyone. Even the video you have created is I think is in Portuguese based on what you are trying to say in the video so you aren't really talking to the general audience here. And even basing to what I watched so far in the video I really don't understand what the purpose of the app is, even the app description for it is in Portuguese. I think you should move this on the proper local board until you have made an English version of the app.
2513  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: March 28, 2019, 04:27:21 PM
You might have replaced the word “hodler” with the word true believers which isn't a phrase that is really being used enough in the crypto industry. The word hodler is enough to express what you are saying. Just like what BrewMaster said you made it sound bad for a crypto hodler to hear. The Bitcoin community is no way even near to what a cult does. We don't worship BTC or in anyway idolize it somehow as we just only support it as our investment by buying and selling it, some even really use it as a mode of payment to show their support towards it.
2514  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁V3 LAUNCHED🎁$100,000 GUARANTEED MONTHLY IN WAGER CONTESTS🎁 on: March 28, 2019, 03:20:50 AM
Just as an update, I've received another deposit making the total almost 0.25 worth in bitcoin atm.

Admins are aware of this as well and told me that the problem isn't from their side.

No one has tried to claim this or had any problems with deposits not showing up either.

I checked the address in the blockchain explorer and I can see that there is around 0.5 bitcoin still incoming to my address

This has never happened to me on any other site before so I just thought it would be a fun thing to share because it really is a unique situation
Have the Bitsler's admin notified everyone in the website including in the forum? The disadvantage of notifying it to everyone is a lot of people will claim that the BTC is theirs and they will try to claim it back. So I think the best thing to do is to wait it out and maybe one way or another a person will try to communicate with Bitsler's support about the lost deposit. Chances are the sender is unaware of the situation that is why you still are receiving BTC at the moment.
2515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at a Non Profit? on: March 27, 2019, 06:37:55 PM
By the looks of it it seems like you just padded the question so that people can answer your question without any suspicion. India has been known to be hard on their crypto users that even their banks are not allowed to touch crypto related transactions with exchanges so their citizens only way to liquidate it is through localbitcoins which I think won't be fit to you as most of their mode of payment is through bank deposits. I don't even know how you will get through North Korea as being a dictator led country it seems like cryptocurrency transactions will be highly moderated.
2516  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-27] Weiss Ratings: Bitcoin Best Positioned to Become a Popular Store o on: March 27, 2019, 06:03:07 PM
Just by reading the news its like Weiss only made their report based on what they see in the internet. The way I see it is China's CCID had way more credible looking report which isn't even believable for me. If I were them I'll only stick up on what I would usually do which ranks up stocks and mutual funds to buy and sell, they just need to admit that they aren't knowledgeable enough to even touch the crypto market and stay away from it until they have crypto professionals of their own.
2517  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Looking for Crypto Lawyer in Wyoming on: March 27, 2019, 05:08:08 PM
Hello, I am trying to find an accredited lawyer in Wyoming who understands crypto and business law. Please send me a message if you or someone you know is able to fulfill these credentials. Thank you
I do think that finding a lawyer who specialized in business/corporate law would be enough for what you need. Since back then (or until now) there are no courses being offered specifically for cryptocurrency laws which we barely have until now. If you do have state laws for cryptocurrency I know that lawyers are obligated to learn the new law in order to be competent for their clients. Just go to a local firm you have one instead of trying to find someone online as most likely you will only have offers from scammers.
2518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Africa buy and sell of Crypto on the increase? on: March 27, 2019, 06:47:11 AM
Same reason as what people usually do in the crypto maket, they are here because they also want to make money just like what Koreams and Japanese people are doing they see that the risk to reward ratio is good and unlike other markets the assets in the crypto market are more affordable. Its really not about a matter of race as one way or another all countries will discover the crypto market.
2519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reward XP - Play/Earn/Shop/Community (bitcoin rewards) on: March 26, 2019, 07:44:05 PM
Hoping you made the site accessible without even the need of signing up first. I really got curious what your community is in store but after visiting your website it only looks like a log-in page with out any information on how people will earn or rewarded. Can you also explain how gamers will be rewarded in your website here? By the looks of it your idea is pretty good and I want to know more about the mechanics.
2520  Other / Meta / Re: [RUIN THE FUN] Possible April Fools Ideas Of Theymos on: March 26, 2019, 05:45:20 PM
An actual demerit button would be nice but the deductions would only be applicable for a certain period enough to fool a lot of people that theymos is serious with the joke. If theymos want to push it to another level adding some demerit sources might be another level that anti-merit users would really hate. And of course this would be fun for users as they can demerit the shit out of spammers and shitposters in the forum.

How about an "antimattermerit" button: you can destroy another user's merits but only if you have more merits than them. And you lose all your merits too.
That's even a better idea, I know I'll have a good laugh if known members will be back to Newbie ranks even just for a day. But the trouble here is if this is applied even for a day chances are there would be some cases where some members won't get their previous rank back due to some errors or glitches and it might actually cause a lot of problems for both the admins and the members affected. If we have a prank we need to have something simple that can easily be removed once the prank is done.
