1521  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to send money anonymously to anyone's bank account in Indonesia on: January 02, 2020, 07:55:27 PM
If you are getting worried that your address will be associated from you in some way I think the best thing to do is to create a new wallet and then fund it on another channel where you won't send your Bitcoin from your wallet to your new wallet. Buy Bitcoin from localbitcoins or Coinbase or a Bitcoin ATM and after funding your new wallet with Bitcoin then you can send it to someone in Indonesia with you still having a peace of mind. You should take note that Bitcoin is legal in Indonesia to trade with and not some kind of payment so if you are just sending it as some kind of remittance to a friend of family member I don't think it will be necessary for you to do the things I have said above.
1522  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ecommerce Plugin on: January 02, 2020, 07:12:40 PM
That's a good idea, thanks. Do you think people would be interested in that?

Well is will really depend on you on how you will promote/market your website since any e-commerce website where the customers have what they are looking for will be successful all it takes is you having an audience for it. So after developing a good marketplace website, all your legal papers to operate are complete, and your payment system is ok I think the last thing for you to do is to promote your website so that you can actually have some products being sold in there.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 02, 2020, 06:15:25 PM
There banks will simply be more digitalized if this happens. I know that this will be a big leap but banks right now are technically on a semi-digitalized stage where we hace atm card and debit cards acting out as cash even without withdrawing fiat so I wouldn't see any big changes at here at all. The major change I see is in fact about the transparency and security it will bring since now the Chinese people will be transacting with their phones and not their wallet.
1524  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ecommerce Plugin on: January 02, 2020, 03:18:55 PM
Help me understand more clearly here, are you trying to say that you are allowing users to pay on an e-commerce website and then make these users have the option to sell some items as well woth that plug-in? Why not just create your website on your own that works as a marketplace where users can make their products available at the same time they can also buy other user's items? Similar to what Ebay is doing. At least in this way you won't have to complicate things as you will be focusing on just your website which I think will be easier for you.
1525  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2012-12-31] Is Bitcoin Resilient Enough to Take on Cyber Threats in 2020? on: January 02, 2020, 09:18:09 AM
When we are talking about direct attacks to Bitcoin's network like a 51% attack I'm still confident enough to say that the possibility of this happening is less likely but if we are talking about much external factors affect Bitcoin such as governments having unfavorable laws and whales pulling down the price you know these threats are more likely to affect Bitcoin and its price since it directly affects the deman for Bitcoin and are more likely to happen compared to a 51% attack.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T MISS! Proof Bitcoin/Crypto Nowhere Near Bottom! on: January 01, 2020, 09:25:39 PM
Looking at the same chart you are using I already see that their is a flaw on your analysis. If you are seeing the price movement from point (4) to (5) you will see that the volume is already falling yet the prices are still increasing the price increase even started at point (3). Volume analysis for a longer time frame like this one makes it inaccurate as there are too many price movements and other indicators not being considered. Still looking at the chart we can clearly see that the overall chart is going up and there is no clear indication that a strong down trend has been formed at present.
1527  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Shitcoin Airdrop Wallet Has A Virus on: January 01, 2020, 08:28:13 PM
What it looks like that your friend got hit by a ransomware, best way to avoid this kind of shit from happening is to don't join crypto related Telegram channels you have found online that you don't personally trust. Generally in the web you don't need to click suspicious links or download suspicious materials because this is what will get you in trouble. Another way to solve this is to have your computer back up on a separate hdd or usb so that if your system got compromised you have the option to clean up your device and recover your files without paying them. Also you should take note that paying them is really out of the option here since there is no guarantee that you will really recover your device nor guarantee that your device will be hit again.
1528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}:Chrome extension caught stealing crypto-wallet private keys on: January 01, 2020, 07:14:15 PM
Yeah sure Google has the biggest cause for letting these types of extensions and apps being made available in Chrome and Playstore
People place far too much trust in Google.

Well on the general consumer's stand point being one of the top companies and being reputable is already enough to let their guard down when it comes to safety and security they become careless that if extensions are available for Chrome are available in their store it is already deemed safe and secure the same thing can be said on their Playstore. Even if their users are complaining Google has no reply and I don't see any kind of damage control aside from removing that extension or app they don't add an extra step to prevent it from happening in the future.
1529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}:Chrome extension caught stealing crypto-wallet private keys on: January 01, 2020, 05:50:03 PM
If someone emailed you a bunch of code and said "Run this on your system", would you do it? Of course not (at least, I sincerely hope not). If someone approached you in the street and said "Let me borrow your laptop/phone so I can install some programs on it", would you hand it over?

That's the problem if they emailed this in the millions at least a few thousands will follow or be fooled by this type of emails and there is really no one to blame but them. Yeah sure Google has the biggest cause for letting these types of extensions and apps being made available in Chrome and Playstore but as a user itself you must practice precaution when it comes to things you are seeing in the web. Because you are really literally the last line of defense for your system for it to be infiltrated or not.
1530  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money service business licence needed on: January 01, 2020, 04:50:14 PM
@OP I wouldn't entertain people here trying to help you and yes that includes members who are already pming you giving their assistance. Obtaining a MSB license will be different by country and departments will vary from each country for instance some MSB countries are handled by SEC some are from their Central bank so I guess searching for your country and where their MSB license is obtained will be the way for you to find out. Aside from having problems obtaining a license you must make sure that you are already a legalized for business because obtaining a license is one of the last things you need to do for you to operate, it is really not the first ones you need to handle in creating a business.
1531  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoskill - Realtime multiplayer Rock Paper Scissors on: January 01, 2020, 03:45:04 PM
This game is 100% multiplayer. Which means you can't play if there are no players online, you need to wait for other players to appear (which will be very difficult on this new years day Cheesy ).

This will be one of your biggest weakness especially during your first official launch for the website. It would be difficult for players to have another match since we don't even know yet how many people here are interested on joining/playing your game. So I don't think the possibility of having a Player vs. Bot is a bad decision so that players won't have to wait for another player or at least give them an option to match against a bot. So I think the right thing here is for you to have some kind of provaboy fair system where you Bit's action are already predetermined by seed just like how normal crypto casino's works.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 31, 2019, 11:16:02 PM
They are not the first people to actually use the "Point Center" thing in basketball but Jokic is great with passing so people just focus on that.

If you are age allows it when the "triangle" was a success in Lakers Shaq-Kobe era, Shaq had insane vision, he was able to pass to people better than some of the point guards at the time, I know he didn't had the stats that Jokic had when it comes to assists and never broke over 4 assists a game on average but he was super powerful inside and could score at will if not was fouled most of the time so he didn't had to pass most of the time or even had the chance, but when he did dude was a prolific passer as well, remember Lakers convinced Shaq to join by saying they would allow him to playmake with the triangle system as well.

Being a point center in the NBA is more than just passing the ball the thing about Nikola Jokic being a point center is because unlike Shaq he is literally the one bringing the ball down the box as well as luring in the defense while he tries to drive in the basket. You won't see that on Shaq as he lacks the dribbling skill needed to avoid steals and turnovers from happening on each position, Jokic on the other hand might not look like a pro while doing it but it gets the job done. He really looks like a second point guard for the Nuggets which makes the game a little bit more fun.
1533  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Feature idea: give DT1 the ability to remove specific feedbacks from DT on: December 31, 2019, 09:50:35 PM
The problem I see here is that the trust system will somehow have a inbalance when it comes to the DT's point of view. We all know that every DT member here has a personal opinion on each matter they are giving feedbacks with and if a DT1 member has the power to remove/downvoite their feedback it seems like their opinion is somehow less valuable compared to the DT1 who is disagreeing with him. So maybe I think the current system where DT members are countering it with a positive feedback is still a good option since it is like giving a second opinion on the same matter at least in this way we still see the transparency on all sides.
1534  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should be tagged this user? He wanted to create Doubler site and now promoting. on: December 31, 2019, 08:55:57 PM
In my opinion just asking about opening a doubler website won't be enough to get a red tag from me but it seems now the question he have posted is just a ploy as he have posted the official website of his doubler which makes him eligible to get a negative tag from any DT member because the scam is already committed. So maybe if someone asked I think its better than just to warn them that scams like he wants to do are strongly against DT members here in the forum.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Debate Ensues After 68% of BCH Hashrate Mined by Stealth Miners on: December 31, 2019, 07:46:17 PM
On the side of the miners who control 68% of the hashrate I think it would really be a foolish move for them to disrupt the mining operations. Hodlers are already aware of the 51% attack and this will be clear for them that some hodlers might now be offloading their BCH just because of that information and this would be bad for them for something they control. I know what they want is BCH to have big prices and they don't havr the option to short because once BCH's price goes down it would be hard to recover for somthing they are the cause in the first place.
It's still entirely possible that the people who control the large slice of unknown hashrate have some kind of agenda to do and they might be willing to let the price of BCH drop a bit in order to accomplish their goals. Most people want the price of the coin(s) they own and hold to rise, but sometimes there's more involved with it, though I do agree that doing something major would probably not be good for the long run either.

Like I said if they do that this drop might not be recoverable especially when the previous hodlers know that the miners are the ones who are in control of the market. Whales from the market influences the prices but its entirely different when we are talking about miners willing to risk BCH's transactions just to move/influence the prices, this kind of tactic might even scare a lot of hodlers to buy more in the future. They might even jump out of the train as soon as they smell blood dripping.

1537  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Pressured by Apple, Coinbase to Remove iOS dApp Support on: December 31, 2019, 12:13:13 PM
They really don't have any choice but to comply or else their app in the Apple App store will be removed due to from non-compliance. Unlike Android devices where they can still download apk files outside from the play store iPhones and maybe iPads and Ipods don't have that kind of choice not unless they jailbreak their device which will also void their warranty for the product. With this at risk they know they will lose millions of users using Apple products if they don't follow what they have.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You should burst this MYTH on: December 31, 2019, 10:42:33 AM
I don't know where you are getting your news at but I'm not on your side with regards to China not being crypto-friendly but just Blockchain supporters because they are really both. China recently had already made it clear that there will be no more crackdown against Chinese crypto farm operations and they are also encouraging the digitization of payments which includes cryptocurrencies. Aside from that they also have one of the biggest exchanges by volume and they also have crypto mining hardware manufacturers found in their country which only means they fully support crypto not only Bitcoin. Blockchain is something more being utilized or exploited by independent companies in China but I still barely see news about it.
1539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there something simple like Stripe but for crypto payments? on: December 30, 2019, 02:30:11 PM
The most popular BTC payment processors I know are either Bitpay or Coinbase commerce both of which are just a copy/paste away for you to apply their payment processor in your website. But a lot of members here are not recommending both mainly because of the high fees involve which would be very unappealing for your customers aside from high fees there is also an issue about their reliability.
1540  Economy / Economics / Re: UNICEF Will Give Out Bitcoin Grants via Henrietta Fore's Cryptocurrency Fund on: December 30, 2019, 12:28:54 PM
UNICEF helping out the tech industry for a cause? I guessed that this is their only aim since this non-profit organization is really about helping oppressed children around the world and I would expect that UNICEF is just doing this so that if these tech companies become successful they will receive some financial help in return. The only problem I see here is that the donations they receive from crypto will not help the kids instantly but instead be a long-term plan where they seek companies like this payback in the future.
Helping tech industry? More like integrating with them. I don't know how you got that message from the topic but UNICEF only stated that they would now (was already up by around Sept-Oct) accept donations through Cryptocurrency. As for companies donating, well, we can take that as a donation in of itself, and I doubt any strings could be located there. The long-term plan you say should be primarily invested in the open-source technology projects they would invest in though, as to what the article has said so anyway.

I just re-read the article for you hoping that I misread some parts of it but you are wrong. UNICEF is not talking about crypto donations being accepted to their organization because they have done this a long time ago. They are talking about cryptocurrency grants which they will use the crypto donations they have receive in order to help these crypto-startups which I really would expect they are doing this because they want something in return in the future may it be some form of financial assistance or some kind of integration you are talking about.
