1501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 08, 2020, 06:58:58 PM
~snip~
For the start package, a simple explanation is required with patience by the YouTubers. Anything related to the trading is not rocket science, just hard work will take the trader to the level that trader can use the real trading account without worrying about the melting trading balance. It is debatable how effective is to learn trading methods, strategies, money management with reading the books, real experience is indispensable.

I still firmly believe that going straight to Youtube channels to learn trading isn't the right way to go. Even if you have the patience and determination to learn you still won't understand it fully without learning the basics. Because I'm sure that if newbies will go in the Youtube rout they will only try to watch videos related to crypto trading and by doing so they'll be missing the bigger picture of technical analysis and that involves the basics of trading. That's why if you want to learn TA I would still go to TA books related to stocks as they have been revised and sold a lot of times already.
1502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 08, 2020, 04:42:39 PM
I think a couple of good youtube videos on chart reading and technical analysis would help. You  probably should search this on youtube: "how to read crypto trading charts" or "tutorials on crypto chat reading" . And you could also watch few videos on technical analysis while you learn how to read chart.
I'd also recommend practicing on a crypto demo trading site while you learn how to trade from the videos.

I have to disagree with this. Learning the charts on the video is good but I don't think you will learn the best from it if you started out in that way. At least try to learn technical analysis with books first as reading is a much better approach onto learning anaything and with you having knowledge on the subject the Youtube videos you will be viewing would be easier to understand or to see if what he is telling is accurate because a lot of Youtube channels contradicts on what they are saying.
1503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Centralization on: January 08, 2020, 03:17:47 PM
If we simply think about centralization itself you will understand that somehow or someway Bitcoin is under control in a different way and it is inevitable to happen. May it be the governments trying to regulate it or the miners trying to control the hashrate or even the whales trying to influence the market Bitcoin itself simply isn't protected from those kinds of threats since BTC as a commodity all has some kind of demand outside the market and that is the demand to control it. We simply can't avoid this things from happening but I'm sure we can limit it.
1504  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Massive list of Bitcoin-friendly VPS /VPNproviders on: January 07, 2020, 08:20:35 PM
Can anyone point out what VPN service in that list (or any VPN you knoe that accepts BTC) can bypass Netflix's IP restriction? I know that Googling it can give me some results but I would like to here it from the members here just to give me some clarity and of course a peace of min so I won't be wasting my BTC on some VPN that can't even bypass Netflix. I would also prefer a VPN that also has an app for an android device.
1505  Economy / Economics / Re: Best Stocks to buy this year? on: January 07, 2020, 07:21:40 PM

I dont think 2020 is a good year to buy any stock. Well unless a huge war start then ofcourse buy weapon company stocks. But then you will not be able to use your profits for long.

Could you please expound your reason why you think stocks are not a good buy for this season? Because I myself won't generalize the whole stock market because I know performance of each stock unlike the crypto market still depends greatly on each of their company's performance respectively. They aren't like the crypto market where Bitcoin can influence majority of the cryptocurrencies in the stock market some stock can outperform the rest since they can be good performers as a company.
1506  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ready to start my marketing campaign - Any Tips and Hints? on: January 07, 2020, 06:15:15 PM
I just did a very quick peek on your website to see what your project is all about and from I see it is airline related. Since this is about a crypto related to airlines I think before you do some marketing you must first look for a partnership on any highly reputable airline company since this partnership alone will improve your image as a project that a good airline company will be guaranteed on using/accepting it. This will also help your marketing on having a lot of known partners backing you, it will basically make your project more trusted by people.
1507  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-04] New crisis in the Middle East: Good for bitcoin, bad for the world on: January 07, 2020, 04:46:29 PM
Earlier this week we already seen fake news about BTC rising 24,000$ in Iran because of what happened but we all know we jave just got misinformed again by crypto news websites. So I got a feeling that if there are no real threats or threata that have already happened I don't see it affecting the price of Bitcoin since  there will be no demand shifts happening when there is no real war that will happen with US and Iran or the other countries involved.
1508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2020 Update: Bearish Structure Intact but Bullish Signals Emerging on: January 07, 2020, 03:11:58 PM
Quote
Resistance: $7,525 followed by $7,721-$7,861

We have broken that resistance right? as the price seems to be moving along the $7900-$8k range. But it will be interesting to see if we can get over that $8k in the next 24 hours, otherwise we might see some minor pullback in the range of $7200-$7600. So let's see how it goes.

No we clearly haven't broken the 7,900$ resistance. Even if we technically go way past that it takes more than just going above that level to confirm that we indeed have broken it, if you look at the movements after we got their you were clearly see that Bitcoin went down after which clearly tells ys that it was just a fals break out on that level, if it only stayed in that level with volume for a few hours then this was a clear breakout but now we got off too early so it was a false one. However the good thing about this is we went up 300$ in just one day and maybe just maybe 7,800$ is the new support level.
1509  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Blueprint gaming is a scam - With proof on: January 06, 2020, 08:26:32 PM
I have recently dealt with a similar situation if you leave me your Telegram or Email I might be able to reach out to you and help you with this case.

Mostly users here to offer help/assistance onto another way of communication for instance Telegram it will most likely be some type of scam. So maybe if you really want to help OP I think it will be safer for both of you to communicate here in the forum via pms for transparency purposes also. And for the OP be aware that a lot of impersonations are happening in the forum lately so if he introduce you to another person or himself and act like he is another member here then it is a good time to back out.
1510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Journey Start Today Bitcoin talk Forum on: January 06, 2020, 07:30:05 PM
Your journey doesn't even start today if you don't know where the rules are. It would be better if you are asking for a clarification for the rules you have seen but asking for the forum rules itself makes me see that you are one of those newbies that are “post now read later/never” type of members where in the eyes of many isn't really easy to get along with. It still early for you and if I were you before posting anything else just try and read and maybe surf this forum to learn some and see some answers before you even try to posting anything.
1511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 06, 2020, 06:19:14 PM
~snip~
Well you can't expect that huge amount of money when it comes to the player himself won't accept the contract extension in order to keep the transfer fee remain huge.

That's out of the question a lot of potential income wasted from clubs hoping for a disgruntled player to change their mind not minding that their contracts are nearing to an end, simply just asking for that much on a expiring contract is a foolish thing to do for any management. Now all they have are players waiting for their contracts to expire with really no benefit on their end. Especially when you think of it that the Spurs are underperforming this season and they really need some money to have some big changes for their team.
1512  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Law Firm Sued for Advising Fund That Cryptocurrency Assets Are Not Securities on: January 06, 2020, 02:27:38 PM
~snip~

Most cases settle long before the judge has made any significant decisions in the case. If there is a risk that a legal firm can lose and be humiliated, it will likely settle the case long before then.

Well in civil cases such as this one an agreement to settle also requires the admission of a fault since they won't be settling in the first place if they are either losing or they know for a fact that they are at fault here. So really if they opt out to settle the same result will still happen and that is their name being dragged down for giving a wrong advice and malpractice on such a professional level. In my own opinion there is really no escape from this but to win this in court for Faegre Baker Daniels.
1513  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Law Firm Sued for Advising Fund That Cryptocurrency Assets Are Not Securities on: January 05, 2020, 08:51:17 PM
If I will be judging on who's right based on the article then I think Digital Capital Management was right on blaming Faegre Baker Daniels on the charge being filed against them. This kind of misconception from their legal advice would be avoided if they know what they have said because they are operating in good faith here and they don't know any kind of obligation related to cryptocurrencies being securities. However in court cases like this I know this will all boil down to how the judges sees things and see who is really wrong. One thing to point out again is that these kinds of situation is why in the present we need courses or subjects related to the crypto industry so that the professionals will have a much better understanding when it comes to their jobs related to the industry.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2020, 07:46:23 PM
At least Spurs get some cash rather than have to let him go on free transfer at the end of his contract in July.

Mourinho looks like failed to convince eriksen to stay , clearly he want a trophy. Even Mourinho who promised to make Spurs a champion can't hold eriksen anymore, this move is a fair one.
Inter milan under antonio conte and eriksen at midfielder, can't see any better option for inter milan to become the strongest serie a title contender.

They got Eriksen for 11 million pounds last 2013 and I wouldn't consider a 20,000 million pounds move something lucrative on their part. That guy is worth at least 90 million and the management set a price tag of him for 130 million euros last season. 20 Million pounds is a pretty big difference compared to 130 million it's not even a quarter of their original price. But yes you are right it is better this way compared to them losing him on a free transfer. You cannot really blame anyone but the team and the management itself on why they cannot keep their players on the team.
1515  Other / Meta / Re: Please don't reply to topics that are made for advertising purposes. on: January 05, 2020, 05:56:45 PM
24. Advertisements (including signatures within the post area) in posts aren't allowed unless the post is in a thread you started and is really substantial and useful.

As far as the rules are concerned links/advertisements done by the member's own thread is still ok but on CoinTrendy's case it can be counted as shilling as he ain't really interested in the topic but is more interested in advertising his product or services. My other opinion for this matter is I also don't see anything harmful on article/content relared websites having advertisements on the forum as long as it is in their own thread and is also interested in a real conversation.
1516  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fortunejack Withdrawal Problem on: January 05, 2020, 04:17:33 PM
I've seen previous cases on this with FortuneJack and when they do fraud assessment I see that the user itself are at fault. One user who was playing in the US (which isn't allowed in their site) ask a friend he has in the Philippines to withdraw his earnings for her and his friend also proxied for the KYC requirement. Even though the user has tried to fool FortuneJack they still manage to give his withdrawal so I wouldn't say FJ is fraudalent even if its a delay in withdrawal.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just Got 2000 Coins For Free with Staking on: January 05, 2020, 02:26:11 PM
Your stake will always depend on what other participants' stakes are the bigger your stake compared to others the bigger share you will receive from the allocated coints for the campaign you have joined. Also you might get blinded with that number but most coins I have seen from bounties especially that high of a quantity are typically valueless once they stayed in a few days on exchanges. So if you are a newbier here in the forum do not get carried away with that number as you might be disappointed in the future.
1518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 04, 2020, 08:44:41 PM
If it is something out of control like what the article is speaking of about how it manipulates prices aside from making their users profit then I think the authorities have no choice but to intervene with such trading bots and make some kind of regulation or maybe worst like a total ban of trading bots to remove the danger of it affecting the market. Hopefully it doesn't reach to that point that trading bots will be affected but if they have a considerable increase of users in the future I think it will be inevitable for them to somehow affect the market because of the capital they have overall.
1519  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful verification? on: January 04, 2020, 07:49:58 PM
Fair enough.

I could have sworn I've exceeded that limit already, but oh well, it doesn't hurt to remain being able to trade Undecided

Also, any information on what kind of suspension could be placed on your account if you were to be limited? Would you be able to withdraw your funds from your account freely (similar to a localbitcoins trading ban) but not be able to trade any further until verifying your account, or would you not be able to withdraw either?

Well I got a feeling that they are ignoring your activity as long as it doesn't hit the 10,000$ threshold multiple times which is one of the thresholds being used by AML procedures to flag an account I think you are still good to go. Also Paxful isn't known to be highly complacent when it comes to KYC and they are one of the exchanges that are still under the radar from the authorities which I think will be good news on your side. But @OP can you be honest and tell me if having KYC isn't really an option for you right now?
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex Barclays exec starts fiat/Bitcoin bank. on: January 02, 2020, 08:38:39 PM
Is it a good approach that a financial bank will pattern it's design more like a website of an ICO project rather than a traditional design for any bank's website? I mean the rendered images of their bank's app alone is pretty similar to a regular crypto wallet like what Coinbase have. I guessed that they are only doing this in order to make themselves know that they are indeed a bank for the crypto industry and I hope that it will work for them. UK here is a pretty big market and I know a lot of their citizens are already aware about cryptocurrencies and I think this will be a really good start for them to test out if a crypto bank like them will help make a difference in the industry.
