![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Did someone type in the price incorrectly? I suppose it was that, since it's only BitStamp that's this high. BTC-E is at $481.
BTC-E is always 10-11$ cheaper. I don't know why. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Often, yes, but not always.

Yes, Bitcoin Discussion also doesn't load (tried different computers and different Internet connections). No idea what's going on, but I'm sure theymos will fix it as soon as he sees it.

Any way to report them if you didn't receive the PM?
PM one of the mods.

Since I trashed your redirection thread, I will re-post CaeZaR's post here: Base58EncodeThe Mod...NestWhileList...Quotient portion of the code breaks the string down into base-58, then the StringTake finds the appropriate symbol to encode it with from the dictionary. Base58Encode[x_Integer] := StringJoin[ StringTake[ "123456789ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz", Partition[ Mod[Reverse[NestWhileList[Quotient[#, 58, 1] &, x + 1, # > 58 &]], 58, 1], 1]]] Base58DecodeThe StringPosition...Characters portion is the dictionary conversion from characters to numbers, then the fold takes care of putting the numbers into the powers of 58. Base58Decode[x_String] := Fold[58 #1 + #2 &, 0, First[First[ StringPosition[ "123456789ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz", \ #]]] & /@ Characters[x]] - 1 Please send the 0.075BTC bounty to 19t2j4ZHfaNf1hX7YEDLZpdURcwvGywBhc I'll do the other shortly if I get this bounty. Thanks.

Addresses with <.001, or even .00000001 make up the most important part of the blockchain for those who invision BTC micro payments as the solution to problems like spam email There is a similar case to be made for the history of every coin ever transacted. This is the kind of stuff that would make blockchain heavier... I'll bet on the smart guys here finding a solution that does not involve every casual user downloading the entire blockchain onto their little mom&pop chromebook. They can already use an SPV or other lightweight wallet, and have a few to choose from. There is enough value being created by BTC to solve all these problems. There will be more fees and I'll bet they will total close to 2% of every transaction with 5yrs. small price to pay for all the other benefits. You won't need the whole blockchain, or confirmations, or 51 character private keys. That will be managed by whatever replaces Visa & Mastercard (unless they are more flexible then I predict). I know nada about how the network works Then you will need to place as much trust in those "managers" of your BTC, as you currently often have to do with fiat. What's the point of having BTC if you are going to be using it in a way that will let others easily deprive you of it? There is plenty of space for UX to improve (and it has already vastly improved), but you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Theymos isn't the only person they are trying to impersonate, and I ban such accounts almost every day, if you see them, or if they PM you, report them ("Report to moderator" or "Report To Admin" if it's a PM).
|
|
|
You can create a separate account to start a new thread, and share the login & password with those people (assuming you can trust them not to change the account email and password, and not to get hacked).

I had with people that agreed to help me based on the "unsolicited PMs."
And you had people who did not like your unsolicited PMs. If there weren't any, I wouldn't even know about your PMs, because the only PMs we (Global Mods; Admins have access to the db so they can see all PMs) can see, are those that are reported to us by clicking "Report To Admin". I have sent you a message to stop sending unsolicited PMs, and because your account wasn't new, I decided to give you a chance, but it seems someone wasn't as patient as me Reported posts are sent to Global Mods and Admins, so maybe one of them remembered you committing other infractions.

It was slightly changed: Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like: - Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters. - Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters. - Member: Unlimited length. - Full: Color allowed. - Sr. Member: Size allowed - Hero: Background color allowed
This is done, except that Newbies can use 50 characters and Jr. Members can use 150 characters. The style limitations are applied immediately, but the size limitations only apply when a signature is updated. Tell me if there are problems.

Global mods can act on all reports, moderators of specific sections can only act on reports of topics within their sections, there are also a few non-Global moderators that can moderate Newbies' posts throughout the whole forum.

Unless you know them or you're sure they won't mind, don't send them unsolicited offers. Start a thread, or better yet, reuse one of your previous threads about 100bit.co.in ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558065.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526706.0), and you could try paying people to put your link in their signatures to get more exposure (just don't forget to remind them their accounts can get banned if they spam too much, so I wouldn't advise paying people per each post). Thank you so much for the quick response. Just want to clarify one thing. Unless I reach out the Mods/Bitcoin Experts/Bitcoin-Qt core developers, how do I know if they are interested or not ? I can assure a second PM wont go to anyone if I dont get a response. But, if I PM them, even u, for the first time, will it lead to ban ? I won't ban you, but I may change my mind if I (or any of the other Global Mods or admins) start getting reports from non-Global Moderator Staff members that they're receiving unsolicited messages from you. Nice to see that you're asking, though ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

If you search for "mod" you will get a list of Global Moderators, if you search for "admin", you will get a list of Administrators, but if you search for "Staff", you will get a list of most non-Global Moderator Staff members. Staff members with a Donator position will not be on the list (HorseRider, Meni Rosenfeld), as well as Andreas Schildbach and Mike Hearn, who are only moderating their small sections.

I do give warnings from time to time, and sometimes they work. Sometimes they don't. Spammers wielding ads in their sigs are generally a group for whom warnings, at least in my limited experience, rarely work. They tend to get very defensive if I tell them they should work on improving the quality of their posts.

Theymos is the only person who can help with the recovery of your account, so you need to wait.
(no need to report this topic, because none of us mods can help you)

Those prices are pretty cheap considering what you can earn with them and what others are selling for. I'd be weary about buying any accounts on here. Even using escrow doesn't guarantee much as accounts can easily be recovered by several ways,.
Concerned. Can you mention some of the ways account can be recovered? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0
