Another thing you might mention is that you can't submit two lines in a report. One of my bad reports was a double post resulting from my submitting a partial report, because I wanted to include a qualifiction on a second line. Bitstamp will not be shut down. Don't listen to wildwest conspiracy theories. It's obvious that the people here exchanging walls of text have a motive to continuously hammer on Bitstamp.
Most of the people I know use Bitstamp since 2013/2014 and they haven't faced a single problem depositing/withdrawing fiat. The thing you can blame Bitstamp for is that they recently have started asking all sorts of silly questions, which is likely coming from one of their banking partners to make sure their bank accounts aren't being used while at the same time breaking existing laws the bank itself is subject to.
Recently? They have been asking these sort of questions for almost six years now, if there's no full paper trail or clear blockchain evidence where your funds come from Bitstamp may hold your money hostage. A lot of people don't really use their coins much or use them mostly for speculation so they might not be facing these kind of problems. |

Some people obviously just want to link the unit to dollar value. To them I'd ask, are we just going to keep adjusting units every time Bitcoin increases (or decreases) in value? Is that really a logical approach?
For many people seeing prices start to have more zeroes to the right of the decimal point every year or every other year, is confusing, but it all comes down to personal preference, that's why we get people using different units. I personally don't mind the mBTC unit, or just plain BTC if there aren't too many zeroes, but I'm not really a fan of using satoshis (except for fees per B), and bits even less so. I don't see a reason to use satoshis or mbtc all of a sudden. Is paying 0.1 so much different than 0.01 for the same thing?
I can see what some people see in this because it will get crazy once bitcoin is used for payments and becomes worth 30 thousand dollars or more and you will have to pay 0.0001 for a cup of tea but we aren't there yet. If people in some countries like Venezuela had to pay thousands for the same cup you can pay 0.0001. It's all the same.
I don't think many are buying single cups of coffee with Bitcoin, but if they are then 0.0001 BTC sounds like a right price for coffee in a cheaper cafe. 0.0001 BTC or 0.1 mBTC is about a dollar, and in line what one will pay for a coffee in some student pubs/bars here. |

Powiem szczerze, że zawsze dziwiły mnie prace nad tym nowym forum, bo przecież Bitcointalk zupełnie nic nie brakuje i od tylu lat służy milionom ludzi, to po co naprawiać lub zmieniać coś co dobrze chodzi? Plany nad tworzeniem nowego forum zaczęły się jeszcze pod koniec 2011 roku (wtedy theymos wprowadził rangi Donator i VIP za odpowiednio 10 i 50 BTC, tak, nawet za jedyne $100 można było mieć VIPa  ), ze względu na starość i ubogą funkcjonalność obecnego forum. Z różnych powodów znalezienie firmy chcącej się podjąć napisania forum od zera zajęło trochę czasu, ale w końcu zdecydowano, że zajmie się tym Slickage Studios. Jako że cena BTC dużo urosła i przy okazji forum zaczęło zarabiać dużo na reklamach pieniądze nie były problemem. Ponieważ bezpieczeństwo jest bardzo ważne, a kilka razy już były włamy na forum (2011 przez m.in. SQLi, 2013 przez backdoory umieszczone w 2011 i nie wykryte  , 2015 m.in przez atak SE na firmę hostingową), theymos jest bardzo ostrożny. Dużo osób przez forum prowadzi rózne biznesy i potencjalne straty np. przez podszywanie się pod inne osoby, albo przeglądanie wiadomości mogą być duże. Obecne forum miało dużo zmian wprowadzanych, a nowe forum zostało od zera zbudowane z myślą o bezpieczeństwie. Wersja beta forum pojawiła się ponad 3 lata temu i ktoś tam chyba jeszcze pracuje nad tym, więc mam nadzieję, że może chociaż w tym roku doczekamy się nowego forum. |

I think Bcash might actually have enough believers for an OTC market to exist; /r/btc has a quarter of /r/bitcoin subscribers (even if many are regular bitcoiners subscribing out of curiosity, their overall views are probably more or less accurately reflected with upvotes/downvotes), and local.bitcoin.com is moderately popular for a new local-/P2P-based exchange. |

Forum jest od dawna gotowe: http://epochtalk.org/Ktoś już nawet wykorzystał do postawienia własnego forum w dziale New Forum Software jest link. Większość pieniędzy jakie forum uzbierało jest z przychodu z reklam, przychód z członkostw VIP i Donator to była mała część i została już dawno wydana na rozwój epochtalk. Dlaczego zajmuje to tyle czasu jest tutaj wytłumaczone: The software is substantially complete. The main period of development was a while ago; the current work is mainly just maintenance & relatively minor improvements. Try running it yourself and you'll find that it's working, fast, and nearly feature-complete.
The things blocking a transition from the current software to the new software are:
- There hasn't been enough testing. I think that immediately after transition, a variety of small missed features, bugs, and performance issues would crop up. As a result, if the transition happened now (which is technically possible!), I'd expect the post-transition user experience to be poor for months while these things are fixed, which I don't want.
- I am the only bitcointalk.org sysadmin and on-demand programmer, and I'm used to the current software. Furthermore, I need to frequently make changes to the current software, but each change I make might require alterations to Epochtalk, which is problematic.
- The current PHP software, while ugly and sub-optimal in many ways, performs well, especially since I have extensively modified the backend to add features and improve performance. So I don't feel much urgency.
- The data-transition procedure still has a few known minor bugs.
We continue to work on these issues. I think that ultimately I may need to hire one or more full-time people, since a big problem is that the full transition is likely to create a ton of work which I won't be able to effectively handle alone.
The software is not vaporware (it's long existed in a runnable state, and is currently basically feature-complete), and is not abandoned (look at the git commit log). If anyone is unhappy with the progress, I invite them to take the Epochtalk code and create a competing forum with it; since they won't have to worry about the transition issues, they'd have a much easier time, and their testing will also end up helping us.
In short: If you want the software quicker, go run your own forum with it, and work to get any problems or missing features you find resolved via bug reports, etc. This would increase public interest, provide much-needed testing, and I might even hire you to work on bitcointalk.org when we're ready to do the final transition here.

That is the case, unfortunately. It was a matter of time they would change their stance. If they deal with fiat (especially USD), it doesn't take long for banks to start asking questions "what?", "where?", "why?" and "how?". If the merchants want to exchange the coins through an exchange, they'll have to go through KYC, too. They can exchange in F2F transactions but that's not as convenient for someone who doesn't have the contacts or hasn't done it yet (and LBC also asks for KYC nowadays).

Jak obawiasz się, że mają i planują wykorzystywać jakieś 0daye bluestacks, to nigdy nie zaszkodzi odpalić go na maszynie wirtualnej.
