I have been wondering since I join bitcoin and ethereum trading. Is there a regulatory body for bitcoin price? If there is none, what are the factor responsible for both the bull run and the bear market.
Supply & demand, but there is a conspiracy theory not without basis that Bitfinex/iFinex/Tether is partly responsible for the rise in Bitcoin price as they can easily create stablecoins out of thin air and use them to pump the price on their exchange and elsewhere. |

No, Intel SGX provides something called "remote attestation" which you can think of Intel signing a message saying "This specific program, generated this specific value when run in a secure enclave". So if that program (which you verify matches, and doesn't log) generated a public key. You know you can now communicate with that program in a way no one else can intercept the messages.
The two immediately obvious pitfalls:
a) Intel could potentially be compelled into signing a false-attestation.
b) There's security vulnerabilities in SGX which nullify their guarantees (which has happened several times before).
Either way though, Intel has probably invested billions (?) into their secure computing so they would be extremely unhappy to see their guarantees fail in the wild. Is it possible to avoid using Intel's Attestation Service? (since that requires registering with Intel and so on as far as I understand how it works.)
Am I the only one who noticed that their website is down for 2 days now? I don't know if it's 2 days already (last time I checked the website was a couple days ago), but at least for the past several hours both their regular and the .onion site have been down for some reason. That would be ideal, yes, but if things like the travel rule become entrenched and enforced in the ecosystem, decentralized alternatives will never grow if people can't feasibly use their bitcoins, either because they can't spend them outside of DNMs or because they can't sell them, or because can't sell them for as much as they trade on most exchanges. |

Definitely, but there is still a huge demand for KYC-free services. You can tell as much by the way Binance operates: They are willing to segregate their markets rather than go fully compliant. It's also basically a given that a host of countries won't be complying with the FATF travel rule, leaving the door open to non-compliant exchanges.
And that's where things get interesting. Are the Coinbases and Geminis and Bitpays of the world going to blacklist outputs from exchanges like Binance? Bitmex? Smaller altcoin and derivatives exchanges?
If what coindesk reports is true, Binance is considering on using CipherTrace software to implement FATF's travel rule. Perhaps they'll use it for Binance.us customers and some other exchanges will follow, and we'll see emergence of two non-interacting Bitcoin currencies in circulation. |

It would be objectively useful to have real statistics on what are the most efficient devices in syncing nodes, what is debatable is if it's worth the privacy concerns of collecting metadata even if it was opt-in and the meta would be anonymous.
You can always conduct your own experiments with different combinations of hardware components. If you're on a limited budget, you can still compare IBD times on different virtual machines, with different amounts of cores and memory assigned, and with different CPU clock speeds (either by under- or overclocking the CPU, or by limiting CPU usage of a process). |

Ta, pamiętam to, ale nie wiedziałem, że poloniex ma taki zapis. Podejrzewam, że na tych, na których by chcieli, aby taki zapis najlepiej działał (ci wiszący więcej), działać nie będzie, pójdą do prawnika i powie im jakie mają szanse nie płacić jak są z innego kraju niż poloniex/circle. Zwłaszcza, że poloniex nie jest regulowany jak tradycyjne giełdy.

If I had a large amount of coinage with only one place to put it I would choose a phone over an internet capable laptop 8 days of the week.
I have genuinely never heard of a phone wallet being hacked.
It's still not sensible to have money on something you're not completely in control of but phone's are a much less bad option than anything with Windows on it.
I wouldn't be willing to put coins into phones like these, we've no idea how competent the developers are, but an established wallet on an up to date phone with the seed safely stored is a good option.
As long as you don't use that phone for anything else you should be good, but a computer should be more secure on average, phones are more likely to be lacking latest security updates. And no one says you have to run Windows on it, instead of, say, Qubes OS  |

Jestem ciekaw czy już były przypadki sądownego ściągania długów, związanych z handlem na dźwigni przez giełdę krypto. Ja o czymś takim, jeszcze nie słyszałem, a Wy?
