Understand basics like the following:

1. Learn to back up your wallet balance
2. Learn to save your private keys and do not share them
3. Learn bitcoin balance typo errors can be made eg: 0.1 when you meant 0.01
4. Learn bitcoin is a non reversible payment
5. Learn to use reputable escrow with +1 or higher
6. Know in the bitcoin world of business anything can be gone within in instant.

Is backing your btc wallet really necessary?

I suppose, it is unnecessary if I just buy/sell. is it right?

Yes if you want to keep your bitcoins online without having a wallet on your computer, but I don't know if that is very safe.
If the site goes down or is hacked, you could lose control of the bitcoins. : /
2562  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MEMBERS SIGTATURES on: October 30, 2014, 10:55:15 PM
I hear long time members talk about selling there signature, just wondering what that is??? sorry if I am becoming a pain for all the questions.

There are campaigns that pay you to use their signature while you post on the forum. xD The older your account, the more they pay you.

2563  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 30, 2014, 10:43:13 PM
^ Yes, it would be cheaper just to use an escrow lol.
Maybe they are expecting to pay members with what they gain from the sales or something. This may not end well. : /
2564  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Minefield help! on: October 30, 2014, 10:05:08 PM
^ They show you the address you have to use to send the bitcoins when you click deposit/withdraw.
But I don't know if there is a minimum you have to send. : /
2565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask for help: How to get start in bitcoin world on: October 30, 2014, 09:54:57 PM
^ I think you can just save your private keys somewhere (one for each address on the wallet) and then import them later if you need.
But it's easier to backup just the wallet file, which contains them all.
2566  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pope Francis declares evolution and Big Bang theory are real. on: October 30, 2014, 03:24:50 AM

But he still says that it requires a creator at the beginning to start everything going of course. If he didn't, that would be a major change. xD
Does anyone think this will help keep intelligent design off school curriculum in America?
2567  Economy / Services / Re: 3D Artist accepting bitcoin for private or commercial projects. on: October 30, 2014, 12:12:01 AM
^ I think the barbarian needs to have more visible muscles in the arms lol. But the rest looks good! xD
What program are you using to do it? Zbrush?
2568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ebola will come if airlines will not stop to fly to Africa on: October 29, 2014, 11:48:51 PM
^ But then he wouldn't have anything to post! xD
Maybe they could get away with some of those killings, but someone would notice it happening sooner or later. And there would be no support for not allowing the troops to return. Of course they could get infected as well, but even then. : /
2569  Other / Off-topic / Re: Being part of a tekkie Commune anyone? on: October 29, 2014, 11:19:05 AM
Very interesting. Have you guys considered starting a garden to grow your own food to become really self-sufficient? What kind of rules does this commune have? i.e. what happens when someone gets out of line?

I've always been interested in projects like these. I'm currently seriously considering living out the open sea on a boat a few years down the road when work/time allows.

I think they have an area to grow food. I think I read that in the pdf he added above lol. It also has a little about rules and such.
But living on a boat would also be very cool! xD
2570  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 29, 2014, 11:09:47 AM
^ 14 bitcoins is still a lot. They should escrow at least a part of that, or pay some members upfront.
I know they ran a campaign before but it didn't last long I think. Are they really trustworthy? : /
2571  Other / Off-topic / Re: "You throw like a girl" on: October 28, 2014, 11:18:34 PM
So there are no physiological differences between males and females?

There are, but in the Mythbusters episode, they saw that it wasn't that much of a difference. Men threw a little further and women had more accuracy.
2572  Other / Off-topic / Re: Being part of a tekkie Commune anyone? on: October 28, 2014, 08:11:22 PM
There is NO rent rent is FREE. The price is for food, electric, water, internet etc.......shared fuel in the cars, etc as in if somone makes 200 eur a month then thats ALL they should need to live, period.

As for the girls, I would say so!

That's great. xD In other circumstances I would consider joining you, but I can't leave my work or family.
But I hope you manage to do this. Good luck!
2573  Economy / Services / Re: Signature campaign of tradefocus.net has been launched ! on: October 28, 2014, 07:48:56 PM
Where is my $2.40??!!?!?!  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry
are you invest in there??? you should be not invest because you money cant be withdraw again

I think that if he had invested he would be asking about more than $2.4 xD
He has the tradefocus signature so he is probably talking about that lol.
2574  Other / Off-topic / Re: "You throw like a girl" on: October 28, 2014, 06:52:08 PM
Next time give them dishes, glasses, ashtray's or vases...

From experience I know they can throw further and more accurate then   Grin

But then they also need a good incentive lol like being really angry at you. xD

Mythbusters tested this in one of their episodes and found out that it's not true. Boys are usually better because they are trained from a young age and girls aren't, but when using their left hands, both were equally good.
2575  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you going as for Halloween? on: October 28, 2014, 09:44:55 AM
Any crypto related costumes? Maybe I should dress up as Mark Karpeles, but then again I might get shot.

How about going as Vod or Dank xD
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=822298

We don't really celebrate Halloween here, just some private parties in some places. : /
2576  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk: artificial intelligence is our biggest existential threat on: October 28, 2014, 09:31:09 AM
^ turning off the power didn't go well in the Matrix! xD
The problem is it would be more intelligent than us, so it's hard to know what it would do. But I don't think it would be a threat to humans. Maybe just use us to reach its goals at most.
2577  Other / Off-topic / Re: Being part of a tekkie Commune anyone? on: October 27, 2014, 09:22:29 PM
id recommend just digging a fiber cable into the ground, satellite and signal based connections all add to slower speeds and higher ping both of which add to a bad experience for internet based companies or gamers.

list would go something like

1.Internet
2.Price
3.shops and stuff
4.Weather

OK well.....

1. Internet- its possible to have it without an issue. I checked it out today.
2. Price- well I estimate living costs to be around 200 euros/head/month is that cheap?
3. Shops. Major supermarket 10km away. There is a major town on the czech side 20km away with a few 100 thousand in it and loads of major shops.. But I buy everything online anyway.....so do most people in the know, except food.
4. Weather- warm summer, snowy winter. Typical central European climate.

The price seems good, but does it include house rent, electricity, water and internet? Around here students can rent a room for that price but it usually includes only the rent. : /
And another important question is, are the girls around there cute? xD
2578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: October 27, 2014, 08:33:11 PM
Of course I do.. Smiley I am not one of those hoarders.

What's wrong with being a hoarder? Hoarding can push the price up due to supply and demand, and if you can see the potential in bitcoin it may be wise to save your coins for the near future.

It can help in the long run if more people and merchants see bitcoins being used, because more people will want to buy them too.
But I'm also hoarding them for now lol waiting for the price to go up. xD
2579  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ebola will come if airlines will not stop to fly to Africa on: October 27, 2014, 05:38:48 PM
I believe that those flying to the USA and EU from the most affected countries should be quarantined.
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/10/25/health/us-ebola/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
Hundreds of millions people in the USA and EU have the right NOT to be infected with Ebola, or to quote Spock:
"the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few"

Every country can say that, and it would just isolate the affected countries. But it wouldn't stop people from those countries to cross land borders anyway, and make the spread of the disease harder to track. And then the people that would leave first are those you need to stay there to keep the economy working and the country running. It would just make the situation worse. : /
2580  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you can get a wife from another country - which country wife you choose ? on: October 27, 2014, 05:26:35 PM
If you are looking for mail order bride, try the Philipines.

They don't mind marrying old men.
They will do any kind of shit work for a few bucks. They are very hard workers.

The cons are:

They will send money back home. All they can.
They will bring over all the family members they can to move in with you.
They get very bossy after they settle in. The subservience does not last.

That's a lot of detail lol. I imagine you are now being bossed around by an imported hard working Filipino wife and her family? xD

And I don't think this thread is creepy. Everyone has their preferences.
