Maybe Searing means that it has risen in value against the dollar? Then again, what coin hasn't? Seems that FIAT's days are numbered.
Things are not looking good if you look at the unchanged inflation calculation.  Bitcoin has a 10% built in price rise year over year vs the dollar. |

Ah...I take your point......then again I expected it to be $12 today..which is why I'm still a 'wage slave' ..  I want to cash out but the risk of whatever wallet software somehow getting my private keys is holding me back. Right now I know my private keys are safe. I do not want to compromise that...even though the reward for me is a lot. |

I guess because many Bitcointalk users are teenagers from non-English speaking countries? Well, actually you don't even have to be that young to sound like a teenager if English isn't your native tongue. Bitcointalk is pretty diverse after all.
Also it probably doesn't help that some of the boards are riddled with account farmers and would-be scammers asking for handouts.
I suspect this is most of it. When merely posting is a paid commodity where quantity is valued and quality has no value then the overwhelming trend will be toward less quality and more quantity. |

Some people just aren't that into SegWit, it seems. 19.75% rise! Sheesh.......well, I guess a floor of this stuff at $200 bucks is possible now...who'd a thunk it? So again, I'm richer on paper it seems....(now that I uttered the words...that will change the wrong way ..rapidly...oops)  getting more and more befuddled about all this stuff.....tulips....dreaming of tulips....(the horror) Bcash price was 10% bitcoin, now it's 7%. His reaction: I've just started reading a lot of bitcointalk to expand my knowledge but I swear, most users in there sound like teenagers from non-English speaking countries. Not that I have anything against that, but is that accurate or is there some kind of inside joke language used on the site? What are your thoughts on why there is such a reaction? #: I am self-moderating this thread because most threads end up getting spammed by people that sound like teenagers from non-English speaking countries that add nothing of value. |

Without taxes the state can not exist. Taxes should not be exorbitant and the tax should not be imposed on everything around, but all the same it should be.
It's all about the tax rates. For example, in Russia they are having a flat tax rate of around 13%. Now compare this to the tax rates in Germany (where it is close to 45%). Also, the VAT and the other indirect taxes are also extremely high in Germany. For example, a litre of gasoline in Germany costs twice as much as that in Russia. The rate has nothing to do with whether or not taxation is theft or not. If someone holds a gun to your head and says give me 10% of the money in your wallet, you get to keep the rest...is that still theft? If someone says you must pay 10% of your income to rent something is that still theft? Tax is the rent u pay for society to function, there are alternatives if you don't want to pay it, just not in the country you are in. It depends, do I have a choice whether or not I rent? Is it voluntary? If a woman is raped, would you tell her she should just go to a country with no men if she doesn't want to be raped? Rape is a crime, taxation is not. And yes you have the choice to pay it or go to another country just as u have the choice to rent a different house. The only difference between rape and sex is consent. The only difference between theft and making a purchase is consent. So...in the days where the king required each bride to have sex with him first on the honeymoon, you would not consider that rape? Because it was legal? |
