1981  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you consensually pay your taxes or only pay under threat of jail time? on: March 22, 2018, 07:11:07 PM
paying taxes to support my government it was a great pride as my part, because taxes are the main revenues of the government it just like a father has to work and get pay to support the family and community services as well, aside from that it also help to build from growing community and to maintain the standardization services of the country, that's why i pay taxes,,,  Grin

How much extra do you pay? Or do you not have enough pride to go beyond the suggested amount?
1982  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you consensually pay your taxes or only pay under threat of jail time? on: March 22, 2018, 07:09:54 PM
This question can be asked for every rule we have.
Would you kill people or rob banks if there was no judicial system?
In this stage of our evolution, we need hard rules because without them we would be like apes with nukes. Paying taxes is one of those rules.
I don't see how society would function without taxes, at least in this moment.

Have you ever heard of Bitcoin?

Do you understand there are alternative ways of paying for things?  Don't you think the ancient method of using force could possibly be replaced by a voluntary system?

No...not likely. Most people can't think beyond what they are told.
1983  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you consensually pay your taxes or only pay under threat of jail time? on: March 22, 2018, 07:07:43 PM
If you use a countries infrastructure then you must contribute to maintain and improve it.

Taxes are necessary it's just a shame so much gets wasted through bureaucracy.

How much extra do you pay each year?
1984  Other / Politics & Society / Do you consensually pay your taxes or only pay under threat of jail time? on: March 22, 2018, 05:52:50 AM
If you pay your taxes voluntarily (not just to stay out of jail)...why don't you pay more than the suggested amount?

If you pay without consent, have you ever looked up the definition of extortion?

extortion
/ɪkˈstɔːʃən/
noun
1.
the act of securing money, favours, etc by intimidation or violence
1985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 22, 2018, 05:17:01 AM
What sort of stupid question is this? If someone is forcing a woman to have sex, then irrespective of any other circumstance it is considered as rape. Orgasm is a biological phenomenon which can't be always controlled by the human body. You can't justify rape by saying that the woman had orgasm.

You would be surprised by the amount of people who believe that it is only the outcome that matters...

not the act itself

A whole thread of people for example:

Is taxation theft?
1986  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 22, 2018, 05:05:43 AM
Even better:

If you rape a woman, who then gives birth to a child that grows up and cures cancer...was it still rape?

It is not rape because there was a benefit from the act.

The outcome is what matters in defining rape, not the act.

It depends upon how much force is used for the sex to determine if it was rape. If it was not a lot of force used then it was not rape.

If the person who raped you is bad/corrupt, then it can be considered rape.

If the government rapes you legally, it cannot be considered illegal. Rape is only the illegal act of forcing someone to have sex. It is the price we pay to live in a civilized society.

Let's start with the title:
Say you are in prison, and you get raped and end up having an orgasm, would you think it was rape?

What about if getting rape, makes you change the kind of person you are? You decide to counsel people who are rape victims and promote an enlightened movement, that brings for political stability, world peace and global economic growth, does that mean you being violate in prison really didn't happen as rate?

You know best. You might want to tell the people in this thread that the outcome does not matter...it is the act itself.

Is taxation theft?
1987  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: March 22, 2018, 05:01:24 AM
I do not think that taxation is a theft. Because I know that our government used it for some livelihood programs in order to support and help the poor people to learn some things that may help them to earn money. I can also see the Infrastructure improvement in our area which are from the taxes of the people. People money goes back to people.

So...the outcome is what determines if the act is theft or not.

Got it.

Could you please go tell the people in this thread that it is the outcome of the act and not the act itself that matters? They are a bit confused.

Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm?
1988  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 22, 2018, 04:58:11 AM
Every intercourse without consent is rape. If the government is having yours, it's not a rape because they have law which states that not knowing the law is illegal.
So, it's illegal to not know the laws and the governments acts within those laws so they have your full consent.
If you disagree, you have options either to leave the country or cease to exist.

Well, the law is the law. If they make you do it then it's not rape.
1989  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 22, 2018, 01:31:20 AM
Very easy answer: If they say no or try to resist then they are being raped. Don't matter at all what happens in the outcome. No means no.

Hmm, there is a whole thread of people who have concluded that it absolutely does matter what happens in the outcome. The outcome determines the label of the act as rape or not.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732082.0
You cannot say no. The results are far too important for you to say no!

Do you want people to never have orgasms? No more sex? That would mean no more children and the end of humanity as we know it! Absolute anarchy!
1990  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: March 22, 2018, 01:25:53 AM
No, because it’s in the law. The taxes you paid is for the government to use for the projects that the people of the country will benefit. They will use it for the rehabilitation of roads, constructions of different way of transportation, health benefits, school benefits for children who want to study that don’t have mean to. It’s all for good of the country. You may feel that taxation is theft when the government is doing nothing and keep it in their own pocket. (Corruption) that’s when you feel the taxation is a theft.

You will not believe the amount of people in this thread that disagree with you:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3114570.0

One person even says:
Countries that recognise theft outside of the pre-defined parameters of statutory theft will probably focus on the issue of consent/agreement. Hence, in many countries it will not be possible for government agents to tax a person and it not be considered theft.

SHA-2 (Secure Hash Algorithm 2) is a set of cryptographic hash functions.

SHA-256 is used in several different parts of the Bitcoin network:

Mining uses SHA-256 as the Proof of work algorithm.
SHA-256 is used in the creation of bitcoin addresses to improve security and privacy.
1992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 22, 2018, 12:14:01 AM
Probably should ask in Dev but you folks are hip to the latest things...

Is there a way to automatically forward from an address you control to another address? Like some perpetual address locking mechanism?

I'm looking at Rootstock.

The way it works (as far as I can tell right now) is that you send from your wallet to a designated Rootstock controlled Bitcoin address.

At that point the bitcoins are locked and the same amount of Smartcoins are released on the Rootstock network back to the address of the wallet you sent from (again, I have no idea if this is reality). So now you have control of your Rootstock smartcoins because you know the private key of the originating address.

You can do all of your smartcoin stuff, then when you want them back in bitcoins you send to a designated Rootstock exit address and coins are released to an address you sent from on Rootstock (maybe that's how it works?).

I was wondering if there would be a way to send from one address to another on the Bitcoin network but have it go through Rootstock, do some filtering or whatever and come back without needing to run wallet software to move it along.

Edit

Ouch...that's big ass dildo sort of rape right there.
1994  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 21, 2018, 11:42:04 PM
Also...I can't just give up my citizenship without being severely raped for doing so.
1995  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 21, 2018, 11:34:55 PM
Elwar, you can give up your US citizenship and move to some tax paradise.

Nobody is forcing you to get raped by government taxes.

You alone choose to live in a place where you are taxed by law which is agreed upon by the society in that location.

Working on it!

https://www.blue-frontiers.com/en/tokensale

Just like women can choose to live in a place with only women if they don't want men raping them. They alone choose to live in a place they get raped which men in that society agree is ok (depending upon the outcome).
1996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 21, 2018, 11:18:23 PM
according to this "If you rape a woman, who then gives birth to a child that grows up and cures cancer...was it still rape?"

If you rape a woman, who then gives birth to a child that grows up as bad as HItler - will it be considered as a heavy rape or double rape?

This person would contend that it is considered rape only in that instance based on this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732082.msg32155175#msg32155175

because...it is the outcome that determines what the act was.
1997  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 21, 2018, 10:59:18 PM
Someone just brought up a great point here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732082.msg32865002#msg32865002

Another way to look at rape is like when you have consensual sex. Nobody would say it's rape if they had consensual sex, but for some reason people seem to think differently when it is non consensual.
1998  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: March 21, 2018, 10:54:14 PM
Taxation is not theft, I know many people here would love a world without government but the reality is despite some of the things you dislike about government, it allows society to function. Another way to look at taxation is to consider it as a rent for living in the society you live in, no one would say its theft to pay rent on a car/house but for some reason people seem to think differently when its the government doing it.

I know right!? The end justifies the means.

Please go and explain to all of these losers in this thread that it's not really rape if the woman has an orgasm afterwards.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3114570.0

They're under the misguided illusion that for some reason a non-consensual act is a bad thing....but like you said...just think of the outcome first to determine if the act is bad.

Another way to look at rape is like when you have consensual sex. Nobody would say it's rape if they had consensual sex, but for some reason people seem to think differently when it is non consensual.

So wise!

Is this worrying to any of you veterans?

http://fortune.com/2018/03/20/bitcoin-price-blockchain-child-porn-ban-crime/

I'm usually able to shrug off MSM bitcoin FUD but this makes me nervous.

I don't think that government regulations will pose a real threat anytime soon. They know for years already, that bitcoin is mostly used for illegal activities like drugs and child porn, but they aren't doing anything about it. They're possible the same people, who profit most from all this money laundering and the creation of a make-believe industry, that adds value to their fiat money. If they really wanted to stop this, then all of this would be worthless in a month.

And how would they accomplish making "all of this" worthless in a month?   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Total and PURE FUD!

Is the equivalent of saying that because someone painted pornography on on a wall they should demolish the house.

Fuck you FUDSTERS!

And then cleanse the town with fire...

All of us veterans have known about that link to child porn for half a decade.

We also figured out back then that having a link to something does not mean you have something.

That was back when threads on this forum were relevant and we discussed things. Instead of being just tools to get peoples' signature campaigns post counts.

I know an investment adviser with 500 clients.  I am the only person he knows that holds crypto.

I asked my investment advisor in 2011 if I should invest in Bitcoin. He just laughed (after I explained what it was). He was like...."you Ron Paul guys...".
