On the bitconnect front, I play around on the Thai exchanges and one of their lower volume exchanges quickly went from 450k THB to 225k THB (about $7,500). I'm not sure if it was bitconnect related but I know a lot of Thais were targeted for that scamcoin.

Sold it all at $9940. Bitcoin is a fraud and if anyone working for me buys any they are fired.

Looks like a lot of n00bs came into the crypto world to give their money to the rest of us and leave.

Hello, Plan to move to Thai for 6 month, I will receive salary as bitcoin, do you guys know will I be able to withdraw money from local Thai exchanges?
Sure! Check out Bx.in.th, you can send bitcoin to your bitcoin address in this platform and wire money back to your bank account. This works for me! Can I register there if I am not citizen of Thai? Do not register at bx.in.th. If you have any significant funds at all they will freeze your account. They will spend weeks going back and forth with you trying to get you to prove the source of your funds, no matter what proof you give they will constantly say "need more proof" while they keep your money. Not had any trouble with BX, but they are under the watchful eye of the Americans so don't do your money laundering there. They have a limit on their baht deposit each day on their business account. So if you take up too much of it they get touchy and ban you, even with more proof than you would ever need in the US. I even offered to meet them in person and give my full life story if needed.

when in panic, look at this: That shows the percent gains going down every year. What am I supposed to do when there is only 100% gain in one year? Edit: It also had the price predicted at $10,741 at the beginning of 2018...the low today was $10,779 so obviously the chart is way off.

Sold it all at $10779, obviously Bitcoin is dead and will trade for less than $10 a share by the first half of 2018.

After watching bitcoin's price climb throughout the years thousands of percent I must say that this time the <whatever the FUD is for the price going down this week> should spell its doom and the smart money will get out now because there's no way it will ever break another all time high. Bitcoin hardly ever surpasses previous ATHs, it is a rare site indeed.

In any event, we understand that the Roach turd is currently butt hurt in regards to bitcoin and spreading a shit-load of disinformation, misinformation and distraction in order to pump PMs and apparently talk folks out of their more prudent bitcoin holdings.
If the dude is looking to pump PMs, he's really doing it in the wrong place. Sure has a lot of time on his hands. Ironically I was more pro-PMs before reading Roach's posts.

Governments gave up backing currency against precious metals log ago.
The precious metals that back their fiat come out of a gun Someone needs to create a new alt...Warcoin. Decentralized war. No more centralization of war...more wars, more efficient, more deaths...more coins with Warcoin.

What is the location for WEX.nz? Is there a person or place I can fly to and verify in person that I am myself?
What would be the next level for me to take to get funds out of my account?

I finally got a Trezor mainly because it seemed like the easiest way to put my money in a Segwit wallet. Plus I opened my blockchain.info wallet on my phone one day and it had over $1m on it (forgot that I synched it a while back).

Random Anecdote - 1%'er Edition: Recently wired $500k from an exchange from the sale I did @ $14.5k to one of my financial institutions, and ran into a bit of a snag.
I was looking to wire that $500k to another financial institution that is setting up my retirement package/plan.
Turns out financial institution that I wired the funds to initially, only allows $100k wire transfers out, per day.
"Sheeit."
So I type up a nice pleasant message to customer service, and CC my account manager, and am all like "Howdy folks. I'm preparing for retirement, and going to be moving a lot of money around ahead of that. Can I have my transfer limits increased to $1M per day ?"
Few hours later, I get back a really freaking super chill and nice response back from customer service essentially saying "Hey Bob. First off thanks for being such a great customer for such a long time and trusting us with your fiatcoin. We looked over your account, and yeah bro, $100k is the limit for online stuff. You can walk into any branch and have them do the full wire transfer for you in one go. We just can't do that shit online for security, and stuff, yo."
Duh.
I'll visit the branch on Tuesday and have 'em just wire out the full amount to my other institution.
Banking is such a silly thing.
Biggest problem with Bitcoin is always its interaction with fiatcoin.

In between all this short term bearish posts and sentiments, I will make a Bitcoin market cap prediction. Something I don't do often but I feel Bitcoin currently trades at an attractive discount:
Bitcoin today has a market cap <250 billion. Q3 2019 I expect the market cap to be >500 billion.
Please quote me for future reference.
Done and done.

How was it with a paper wallet? If I have 10 Bitcoins on a paper wallet, I have to sent them all at once to the exchange? Otherwise the rest will get lost?
There is a step between having a paper wallet and sending it to the exchange. You have to import your private key into a hot wallet before sending it to the exchange. When you send less than 10 bitcoins to the exchange, depending upon your hot wallet software, you will either get the remaining coins in a different address or it will go back to your original address (blockchain.info). Either way, once you import your private key to a hot wallet...it's no longer secure. You need to go through the process to put it on a paper wallet again.

Just crazy story one off the noob friends i have Got into btc like 1,5 years back .... Just told me he converted all his btc into bch thinking he Made a good move like wtf i’m Speechless what do i say to Him Which is more crazy? Bitmain only accepting BCH as payment, or what your friend did? "1. Only BCH(Bitcoin Cash) payment method is accepted in this batch, please use the exact amount mentioned in your order and complete the payment within one hour. After one hour, the order will expire and your payment may not be detected by the system automatically. Payment must be in BCH. We cannot accept payment in BTC. If you send BTC to the BCH wallet the coins may be lost. If the payment is submitted but the receipt is delayed, we will make your payment "Valid" manually." https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020180102101937612alpWm337068AUmm...if they have the private key for the BCH address you sent it to...they now have BTC...worth a whole lot more. Perhaps this is their plan. Plus, the whole "use exact amount" thing is like 2011 way of tracking payments.

How long is verification supposed to take?
I started the verification process in September...in October they responded saying they wanted a scan of my passport (I had sent a picture).
So I re-applied in October with the passport scan and have been waiting ever since.
I had purchased 21k NMC in 2014 on btc-e. Didn't really care to log in for a year or so because the price had slowly gone down over time so I wasn't too worried about it.
Are they purposefully not allowing me to log in because of how much I have on there?
Is there no way to get my coins?
(yes, I know...don't leave your coins on the exchange...but at the time it was just a worthless alt)
hi there @Elwar , I used to have an account w. btc-e.com , which became wex.nz . So now my account and coins were transfered/ on my wex.nz account. So do I have to get verified too, or am I already verified by default? sorry, new here. new to wex. thanks! ~taskmaster06 I have no idea. All I know is "You applied for verification. Wait for approval." (message I have been getting since October 2017).
