Always knew we were going to say goodbye to a lot of players and seeds well before QFs (sorry for making a pointless point) but I did not think to see Tsitsipas still alive this late. One of the guys I used to bank on a lot, to great disappointment, and finally having given him up, if he goes on to take AO I will crack lips smiling.

P.S. He's only still in second set after taking the first but on the way Sinner's not able to convert enough breaks, I think this is over.

@buwaytress really amazing stuff from your side about these 3 team's parlay I was feeling positive but sadly Watford kill this all with conceding one goal early and unable to go anything in reply.

Right now Just Watford is the concern about acca which is having small amount, but reward is big all others are doing perfectly even I was feeling Stoke will be not able to perform perfectly they are also leading by 1 - 0 at the end of first half hopefully things could be positive in second half for these all teams.

Luton and Stoke both are leading and Watford are trailing with most chances, they will be to fight back in style.

Yeah killed me anyway because Liverpool was on my ticket, so it looks like another sad day for me, to compound several sad weeks in a row. I actually do decent because of upsets over the long run, but I'm wiping out my profits by putting Liverpool on almost every acca I have.

PNE did themselves another favour once more keeping in tune with my feeling that this league is for martingaling on a team with odds above 2/1. Stick with Blades HT win for a bit, it's good value, but don't take my word for it.

^^^Thank icopress and Betnomi, I'm just helping along Wink

Honestly, at this low point in Liverpool's season, I'm really looking forward to UCL. We get to meet Real, hopefully who maintain their freakish form, and we reset the season from there. We're over 10 points behind UCL spots, I'm sure we'll still get 4th, we know how, but it would be amazing to just win this trophy to make up for this deep disappointment.

Slightly out of topic but did anyone notice Betnomi has 2026 World Cup outright odds out? First thing that greets me on their Sports page haha.

Someone remind me never to put money on Freiburg again this season, please. At least not after Bayern drop points. 4 point gap became 5, throw away the game in hand, won't you?

Well, it's not for nothing, but I think that Bayern is the only and safe candidate to win in the Budesliga, ~

I'm still going to bet against them every time odds are 10/1 and above (yesterday only 3/1 so that was dumb). They'll win, no doubt. Just only because every other pretender to the throne is incapable of capitalising on Bayern's inconsistency.

Man, what a match day. First goal in all the games finally on 28th minute, and it comes of course not from Chelsea, not from Liverpool, not from a star but from Mitoma, assist from Mac Allister -- both who had great World Cup games and taking their form into the league.

Already sitting on multiple losses thanks to Liverpool not finding the net, so all hopes now on Arsenal tomorrow. Oh and maybe a Saints win today too? Playing the counter against Emery doesn't usually work but they only need 1 goal...

will be interesting to see that, what will happen - Juventus to keep clean sheet, or Atalanta to play their offensive
not looking too much on Serie A, I am still stuck with Trofo's Juventus is playing as in 1:0 series, and Napoli is a glitch, so I am voting for clean sheet

is there a particular reason for Lazio to play on Tuesday?

I've backed Atalanta, just surprised they're not having better odds given the form of both teams. Juve will probably still take a 1:0 win though, but I'm happy to gamble on the result. No idea about Lazio, not following news...

Did you hear guys, still not confirmed, but I am hearing Juve is getting 15 points deduction due to financial shenanigans. Can't be too sorry for them, hopefully this will be more than enough for Napoli to win Serie A.

Milan clubs do not look like they have it what it takes to go the distance.

Hah! I knew something was coming out of the World Cup season investigations. Not sorry to hear too -- not like they were fighting for the title neither for the way they're playing nor their tactical mastery. Seems like the people in charge over there don't like learning their lessons.

My captain is Salah this week, vice is Haaland. We need to win this game in a big way to give ourselves a boost... sentimental much?

You'd need a lot of VAR help to have a chance in this one; we're both shit at the moment, but you're not taking a point away from Chelsea today if the officiating isn't tempered as usual. You have only won 3/17 games against us at Anfield. Hahah. Grin

Back to your captaincy choice, it's a good idea because Salah is always looking for a way to score against us, so I wouldn't be surprised if he does, but Elliot is the only dangerous player on your team right now (dude is terrifying)

A VAR penalty call and Salah to convert you mean? Why not?

Elliot's what I call resolute, but no way near as terrifying as Nunez, Diaz, even on their off days =p And hey you watch out for Robbo (on my fantasy) and Thiago man, them two get crazy when they angry.

Why Greenwood? If you have just a bit more money in the bank take Ferguson. Ferguson has been putting some impressive performances for Brighton and while I expect him to loose his first team place now that Welbeck is back he will still play more than Greenwood. Welbeck is also one of those unfortunate players that will always have injury problems and if/when that happens Ferguson will be great option.

Took your advice then Wink Still had 0.6 in the bank and Ferguson only cost 0.4 more, wildcard still active so did that. Greenwood was really just thinking of Leeds' resurgence with Bamford and his play usually benefits Greenwood. But Ferguson probably wiser on the bench.

^ Damn I didn't see that Liverpool special, would definitely have put a bit on it, now am headed out and too late to make a deposit plus bet on the move. Had cleared my entire account out on bets on accas and then just finished off on the Arsenal special.

Liverpool to win isn't guaranteed by any means, but Salah scoring is probably something more likely, he loves a big game.

Why the hate? We seem happy enough when a Tweet seems to bring Bitcoin up. Shouldn't we pay our dues when the opposite happens?

Bitcoin's intention isn't to shame, if anyone feels embarrassed or even humiliated it is by their own doing -- much like I sometimes feel the bile rising just reading my old posts heh.

P.S. What does it take to become a social media expert anyway?

@LFC_Bitcoin @slaman29

Yeah I'm pretty big on Liverpool too, for all our troubles this season, we're still somehow able to maintain some kind of spirit at home, and if there is good news, we've actually played our best football against tougher sides (is Chelski even a tough side anymore now though?).

Anyway. 22/10 is great odds at Anfield, we still have Salah!

Put it this way, I'm not confident enough to put any sort of money on it, but it would be typical Arsenal. Plus, United have sort of slide into that bogey team for everyone despite the form they are in. I mean, we had a ton of trouble with them, despite them not evening reaching their best performances of the season yet. That has a lot to do with how Liverpool set up, and the injuries obviously.

That it would be. I was the first to say they're just going to crumble, but happy to have been proven wrong (so far). Arsenal have been anything but the Arsenal I've known for the past decade though.

I won't be too upset by any outcome though... worst-case scenario for me personally is United actually going on to win the title but they are in no shape for that with 17 games to fight left.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | FPL Football Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: January 21, 2023, 08:53:54 AM
Made wholesale changes to my team now using my wildcard to save 36 penalty points heh... So Salah back in, Greenwood to offset costs, and Robbo keeps his place but I'm just going to try gain points today and won't mind taking penalties to clean out the team again.

My captain is Salah this week, vice is Haaland. We need to win this game in a big way to give ourselves a boost... sentimental much?
2572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 20, 2023, 09:51:44 PM
I thought Man City were the dumb team, but it turns out that Tottenham are actually much more dumber than City themselves, at least City and Pep were able to escape this humiliation, It sure would have put additional dent on their supposed title chase, but I guess the fixture against Arsenal in few weeks will probably settle that issue. It was a complete turnaround, so It's deserving at the end of the day, right ?

And me dumb enough to believe at half time. City's record going down 2 goals is impressive. We used to be like that, now we can't even keep 2 goal leads to weaker teams.

Anyone read Pep's comments after the game? Can't remember him being that livid/nonsensical.

Hopefully Arsenal's 5-point lead is intact when they take on City though...

I actually think Man Utd could derail Arsenal this weekend, despite what I've said previously about Arsenal running away with it. United just seem to be the thorn in everyone's back this season, and they could pull an upset here. Arsenal also have a history of falling off the wagon a little after the Christmas period. I don't think that's going to happen, but I do think there will be unexpected results, and this game is on top of my list.

I'd still be somewhat confident in the prediction of Arsenal winning the league though.

I feel the same, though am slightly less sure after they dropped points late against Palace. They aren't quite ready yet, and rely completely on a couple of players to keep their form.

The Sportsbet special on Arsenal win plus 8 corners is a great take if you still want to put money on the Gunners.

Please message me with your Betnomi usernames (icopress should have reached out as well) so you can get your yellow cap freebet rewards!

Another thing, everyone should PM me with their Betnomi usernames too for future reference. I know at least 2 of those names are even inactive on forum so we'll just have to keep note.

Guess who's back in my MajSev? Michail Antonio! I mean, man, he has to come in and score this week, no? Bamford had a lot of fun in FA Cup too, so he's also back in my selection. Solanke is injured so I am dead there as I put him in too early (can't change!), Ollie (injury doubt but Unai promises he's fine) also get my approval to put their names back on the goal board.

Salah also in, even if I feel Gakpo might break his duck, but if you like Chelsea then you gotta have Havertz.

But most of them need to cut their teeth for a long time before managing a big team (I say big in the sense Leicester City's actually won the Premiership).
I, too, love it when a great player takes up managerial positions (I being more of a la Liga fan, I am mostly relating to Zidane and now Xavi, although he's still trying to achieve something with Barcelona)  Wink

Yeah, it's not just nostalgia or sentiment, it's nice to know there is life after hanging up the boots -- Zidane and Xavi, now that you mentioned, I not only was lucky enough to watch in their prime, lucky enough to see them manage. So many to admire, even if some like Pirlo or Gattusso had a tough time behind the dugout.
2575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2022/2023 on: January 20, 2023, 01:25:34 PM
You and me both backing Blades. As usual, only on my acca, though, and this time only using that single game from EFL -- too many big games elsewhere to ignore!

Apart from Sheffield, Stoke and Watford  (and I believe because only of home advantage), every other game in this round is finely balanced according to bookies, no favourites!

If I were betting more money though, I'd go also for HT wins for all those 3 to get 10/1.
2576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: January 20, 2023, 12:13:53 PM
They have the Sportsbet Special available for the Arsenal vs Manchester city match well in advanced. Over 7.5 corners with an Arsenal win @2.70x if your into those markets.

It should be at least 5/1 if it's Arsenal Citeh, but it's actually United, who came down from a disappointing draw with Palace (I had a simple 10/1 acca on Palace and Arsenal so that was a bummer).

Still, an extremely good offer, I was going to go all ML on Arsenal anyway, and 8 corners for that boost, yeah I went "big" on this one too.

Hate how I'm chasing so many losses from first leg lost on accas, meh.
2577  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: January 20, 2023, 11:11:19 AM
So Messi vs Ronaldo played out to the expected win. Took the PSG win and 8 corner specials, so it was a pretty great 25/10 bet to win, Ronaldo even almost got the hattrick special won, celebrations over the top (as usual).

City had such a comeback win so Arsenal need to continue the momentum. Won't be easy against United but I'm reupping on them again. Almost 2/1 with a boost, no brainer right?
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 19, 2023, 09:37:31 PM
^

That's literally Tottenham being 2 goals up just within less than 4 minutes, I could have said I saw this coming and now I guess I couldn't have been more right about my prediction of both teams to score and Tottenham not to lose the game, now that's even Guardiola can come up with a plan to get at least one goal as well.

Aaaand it's all gone in 15 minutes or so. Kulusevski's proving Spurs need him in the team, first half actually powered and steamed over City like paper, but now they've flipped their tune and played a crap second half. Turning off now after City lead... thought I had a really nice 9/1 bet on Spurs booked but it's all gone to water now heh.

Who knows, 2 more goals before the game ends? I'll wake up tomorrow and find out.

Tell you what, Napoli might also be facing a tricky game next because Salernitana (the team I still can not simply understand at all but hey it's Serie A) might be getting the "new coach" effect.

So they fired him after the 8-2 humiliation to Atalanta, and 2 days later, rehired him. Both president and Nicola were speaking in loving tones to each other after that... promising they will never lose a game like that again.

Don't you love Italy...

Speaking of Atalanta, they've been getting back their goals lately huh?

Hooray!

Yet with caution, hate to be the wet blanket, but holding these licences won't mean much if regulators don't like what you're doing, and if the lessons of NEXO, Genesis and Gemini over the past year are anything to learn from, it's that these FI licences allow for very specific activities. What got all those three in trouble (litigation ongoing) is that they also provided interest-bearing accounts.

Binance does the same (Savings) and actually a lot, lot more... those licences won't save them if someone anti-crypto sits up and takes notice.
