2581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc crash now = TOP buying opportunity ? on: July 03, 2017, 08:12:55 PM
Yes I can't consider this a crash as well. I don't know much but it looks like normal BTC price variation. Right now I still think it will continue to rise, since $ keep entering on exchanges, so the price will continue to go up I think.

This is part of bitcoin's fluctuation, it is really normal to have this kind of movement but for sure this time there were people who truly in panic selling because it still going down, but for sure tomorrow it will go back to normal since there will be investors who will grab the opportunity while the price gets low.
The bitcoin is still the top priority for the investors to invest their money in it. They know that the bitcoin will once again reach to height of its price peak soon.

Even in the current situation we see that the bitcoin is trying to fortify its price and it is pretty successive in it because it is not letting the price go down below $2400. Seeing all this, being an investor it makes me get attracted towards it.
2582  Economy / Speculation / Re: ...was that the dip ... now the bubble on: July 03, 2017, 05:29:19 PM
Dip and bubble will not happen next to next. A continuous rising may be termed as bubble but it should be confirmed by an immediate drastic fall. I can say bitcoin has not into bubble zone even at $3000 levels as there are enough backing investors for those prices.
But here and everywhere the term bubble is being used just to denote up surging prices.
I understand you mean to say bubble will be followed by crash whereas non-bubble rises will be followed by corrections, right ?

In a highly volatile market there is no big differences between crash and corrections. Bitcoins faced a $1000 down fall yet bounced back so quickly, honestly do not know whether that was just a correction or crash. Similarly bubble and supply based price rises are interchangeably compatible for bitcoin market. High volatility might be a reason.
2583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big dump, buy the dip on: July 03, 2017, 07:55:56 AM
You clearly realised that , we are experiencing a dump. I think it will continue , I would like you though on the lowest bitcoin price in order to buy it.
No I am not seeing any big dump is happening. Right now bitcoin prices are just range bound it is trading between $2400 to $2600 price levels. It is usual when there will be no significant news and event are not happening all markets will react like this only. But breaking any of these upper and lower bounds may open door to another wave of rally/dump in more quick time.

But many countries are coming with supporting news for bitcoins like Japan removed consumption taxes, these kind of things may lead prices to break upper ranges toward $3000 levels in coming days.
2584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to buy bitcoin?? on: July 02, 2017, 09:05:42 PM
It's a good time to buy. You could make a small income regularly if you make a buying of a whole bitcoin or more. Because regularly price fluctuations were happening with which a minimum profit can be earned and can be used for further investments.
It is depending on your strategy and position. If you are interested in long term investment then no doubt that the present time is the best time to buy bitcoin, because bitcoin has still too much potential and its price will good more and more high, the currently stability is because of the confusion about the 1st August otherwise bitcoin will have now already crossed $4000. So long term investment in current position will be more secure and profitable investment in long term.
2585  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 01, 2017, 08:35:37 PM
Lot of bitcoin means lots of money so even if I spend some of them then it won't make any difference to me so if I have lots of bitcoins then I will spend them whenever I need and rest I will save for the future and spend when price goes higher.
Yes and a lot of money means a lot of things to do and I will do the same will cover a lot of activities with it. I will spend some of it by buying a luxury car and wrists watch for me. My dream car is Lamborghini and favorite watch is Rolex. I will surely buy them and will invest some of it so that I can fuel my car and leave the remaining as my saving.
2586  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC a chance to change the deadlock of 1% rich peple holding FIAT capital on: July 01, 2017, 07:34:28 PM
There is no way to prevent uneven bitcoin distribution.

In the end when Bitcoin will turn out to be a legit, true and successful asset then rich FIAT holders simply liquidate their fiat positions in favour of BTC.
Nothing will really change, rich will be richer and poor wouldn't still be able to afford to buy enough BTC to change their life

As to me, this is an unlikely scenario

With Bitcoin we likely have a wave of new money coming in (the so-called nouveaux riches). Obviously, fiat deep pockets (those will represent old money) will be in a subdued position if we assume that they would ever want to switch to Bitcoin one day (they will be running after ever evading prices like a kitten trying to catch its tail). This is certainly not what they will like because they simply can't accept this state of affairs. So they will likely try to fight Bitcoin whenever it starts to threaten their financial hegemony
Yes this is what currently is happening and will be happening, many of the rich community having fiat are more influential on their government because they pay high taxes to the government and hence can make the government agree with what they want.
The reason for why the governments are not legalizing bitcoin consists of this factor that the stock exchange doesn’t want them to accept bitcoin. This fight between the hard stuff believers and the soft technological believers will go on.

hah, i was surprised about the big post reductions (because of the changed theymos recently made) but it seems like yahoo62278 was on top of it like always.
thanks man. you rock.
I second that. It is a blessing to work under a manager who understands practical hurdles.
Thank you very much Yahoo !
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: June 29, 2017, 05:47:07 PM
I once won in dice game and got so happy so I withdraw it right away and bought stuffs for my online game. Sadly after that I never won so I stopped gambling.
Stopped your gambling ? It is too hard to believe. Because after enjoying your profit amounts, if you were able to stop gambling then you might be having very strong heart. You can make a comeback into gambling again with free giveaways rather than risking your hard earned bitcoins.

2590  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 28, 2017, 07:24:15 PM
if this is the case then what "wallet" do you hold your btc?
I tried holding my btc tho but there's no assurance that this will double your money
I suggest try investing this and you will gain more profit.  Smiley
I guess no simple methods are available for doubling our money. But we can easily make our money double and triple using bitcoins. Bitcoin has big fluctuations, so we can buy bitcoin in low price and when the price up we should sell it to make money easily on the other side we can save bitcoin for a long time and make a lot of money and as far I know bitcoin is going very high always, no stopping will be possible in near future.
2591  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC sudden price fall? on: June 28, 2017, 03:16:56 PM
ppl need to cashout, that's ok.

Yep that is why we have corrections, no currency or asset can go up exponentially forever without having a substancial number of people cashing out causing the market to correct itself down a bit from time to time. The alternative would just signal a massive bubble forming.

Correct. This is one of those signal that will indicate massive bubble. Prediction is that after activation in August we will see major bubble, still some think we will see falling in price but this small amount of speculators. This will only rally more investors with this correction and think that this isnt last one. Expect to see at least 2-3 more before activation.
Two to three more number of similar corrections ? I do not think so, if this time bitcoin prices will be testing $3000 levels then we can expect prices to jump to new high like $3200 or $3500 ranges. So, another similar corrections up to $2200 may not be possible before segwit activation.

When segwit will be activated, we can expect prices to roar near $5000 levels in no time hence profit booking may happen there but there will be more number new investors who will be taking care prices not to correct much.
2592  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will be back in $1,000 ? on: June 28, 2017, 02:14:01 PM
Yeah, not $1000 but $1200 lol. Because after scaling there likely to be a complete mess with at least two blockchains each devalued at least 50% immediately. But I believe we gonna dip $2000 even before the scaling.
I don't think there will be sliptting of blockchain after activating segwit as I am believing each and every miner will be accepting it because being united must be the power of bitcoin and for this community. So after some point of time, we can expect all miners will be accepting segwit2x, if this case will be happening in a reality we could never see even $2000 levels again.

Even some miners will not be adopting segwit, I don't think they will last like howw eth classic is doing. I mean to say they also will adopt segwit after realizing being united in quick time itself.
2593  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10K at the end of 2017? on: June 28, 2017, 11:55:45 AM
Hope the year end price for 2017 seems to be $5000, not exceeding that because the increase is happening in a smaller scale compared to the one that took place when the price was moving from $1500 - $2500. Also the price has been trailing downwards and today this has begun to increase today. So based on the sustained growth I believe $5000.
You cannot expect same rate of growth for year long. Slow down usually occur just before another big leap. I guess $10k prices could be easily achievable before end of this year as bitcoin already triggered media coverage which is working as a promoting tool among merchants hence media and merchants combination working hard on enabling people to adopt bitcoins in greater numbers. Userbase must be enough reason for bitcoin to hit $10k.
2594  Economy / Speculation / Re: Global Crypto Bear Market on: June 28, 2017, 08:18:58 AM
What bear market?

The one in the imagination of wishful thinkers dreaming of cheap coins.

Nothing in Bitcoin is cheap anymore. If the price falls by 50% overnight the price would still be around $1000. That is far from "cheap".
But $1000 is obvious cheaper compared to current prices. This was what he must be referring.

@OP
There are people still waiting for buying bitcoins around $800 and spreading FUDs just to make their dreams come true. Crypto world is so small hence there would be no sensible in calling "global crypto market" as there is no local market nor country specific market. Investors come and investors go, it happens across all crypto, if you are referring that then that must be right but late night recovery proved there is no power to bear yet.
2595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 28, 2017, 07:53:31 AM
Right now its hard to make Bitcoin as your primary source of income. The Fact that its not yet fully well know by mass majority of people is a major factor. It has great possibilities but right now i think not yet. Unless you invest a great sum of money.

It's hard because of the difficulty has increased and the price is increasing. But if you are able to make 0.005 BTC or higher that's already good for a single day. You just need to full blast your talent and make sure that you will be working the best that you can. Another opportunity always is with trading.
Making that amount of money daily is only good if you have no way to earn more than that and if you are living in a third world country where the wages can be very low, however earning that daily and not touching it will earn you 1.825BTC in a year which is not that bad taking into consideration that the price of bitcoin goes up when we take into account a long period of time.

It's not that bad per year if you have other source of income but if you will make yourself fully dedicated to bitcoin this is an accepted amount. And if you are living in a country that the cost of living isn't that high then this is going to suffice your daily needs. Also the thing is the price increases so it can be still high in exchange.
If someone have other source of income then they should continue bitcoin in part timing because I have seen such people in my area who have their business like its own private school and if they  giving more time to bitcoin they there are more chances that they their local business will effect, so they need to give proper time to both their local business and to bitcoin, because it’s not difficult to manage both bitcoin and their private business in same time.
2596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 28, 2017, 07:24:27 AM
These include direct payment from blockchain to end user, which is exactly similar to cash or credit cards.

Please, be closer to real World problems.

Someone have €200.000. in EU and need to transfer them to Guangzhou (China Mainland)/Marocco/Nigeria/ or Russia.

[im g]http://www.varesenews.it/photogallery_new/images/2016/07/caricamento-temporaneo-per-contributo-bvkek0ke77-550797.610x431.jpg[/img]

The "end User" need Cash.

What is the solution?
That's true bitcoin is the only currency that can be used easily in any country ,
It's what we call as the real global currency right?
The best currency to help people make a cross country transaction so easy ,
When you use cash you will have a lot of problem doing this  .
and only solution is that all the commercial markets store seller and purchaser should use bitcoin and specially the businessmen should do their business through bitcoin like paying salaries, purchases of raw material sale of finished goods and the end user should have option to use bitcoin for paying their utilities bills etc. may be in some place people have such facilities but in my area we still do not have such facilities to use, but can hope to have these facilities in future.
2597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: June 28, 2017, 06:51:15 AM
I wish I was s clever as this kid but I am not so am no where in millionaire's row at present BUT this is a very inspiring story and you never know, if you keep trying, something good can happen to you also and you can become lucky too. This gives us motivation to never give up looking for a good opportunity to invest in. This was one very wise and lucky kid!
I think this kid was as much luckier as much as Bill gates was. Its not necessary that every person will like be of such kid. In my opinion milliner is in luck not by struggle or mind. If it was on struggle the labor persons would be the richest people and if it was on mind then in stein would be the richest person on earth of all time. So the story of this kid is not more than the matter of luck.
2598  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 27, 2017, 08:30:11 PM
Definitely, the price of bitcoin matters.More people would come to invest in it when its price rises.Similarly, when its price falls down, more people would quit. Most of the people invest in bitcoins only to earn profits.Only some people would be bitcoin enthusiasts who would continue to celebrate bitcoin even if its price is low.
The price of Bitcoin does not really matter to me. I like the progression of the technological inputs for Bitcoin rather than looking at the price of  Bitcoin so much since an electronic currency is going to be known in the world eventually.

The question is, how many people would use Bitcoin if it went back to having no value?

You are right about that, it seems like many are just interested about bitcoin because they know that they can have money through it. It seems like the money is what does matter at all. They know that bitcoin can be something good in the future but they are more interested with what they are going to earn and how much they are going to earn.

Yes and no. Money and price is important and for investors in prime thing how much will they gain if they invest some amount, will price fall or go up. For miners they look to have more coin and less fees which is normal. But for traders they look BTC/alt ratio and how much BTC will they accumulate in trading.

So bottom line in most price matter, especially now with upcoming segwit activation.
This is truth that plenty of people have invested their money in the bitcoin and the price definitely matters to all. If the price was not a matter then we would have not working in the signature campaigns of the bitcoin and the people may have not invested in it because it would be a waste of time. I guess everyone here is expecting a high price of the Bitcoin for a high profit.
2599  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: June 27, 2017, 08:12:25 PM
I don't think that there is any secret of earning money and if someone has the secret no one will prefer to disclose it and the only way to earn that amount regularly is by working hard and if you manage to do that then you can earn even higher amount then that.
Yes I agree, why someone will bother to tell the secret to anyone if someone do so then it will not remain a secret anymore.
In my opinion hard work with the art of proper decision making is the key to success. If someone work hard but don’t have the courage to take a right decision at a required time they will never be successful in earning money.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 27, 2017, 03:10:00 PM
I think, experience can be a little bit helpful in the purpose of gambling, basically gambling is a luck based activity but experience matters all the way, if you have knowledge about the gambling then it would be easier to make decision for this purpose. Whatever the case is experience is the vital factor to make a good outcome...
Indeed nothing useless , even something like supertition still helpful.
I cannot agree with you that experience is one of the vital factor in gambling.
The most important factor is luck , and it is not easy to get it.
This is something related to the game that what sort of game are you playing even it is not the luck that helps you win all the time you have to use your brain for the next step so helps you win, while in some you don’t need skills and experience. Like in lottery you have nothing to do with your skills and stuff. It is only your luck which will decide your win or your loss.
