1661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I Should Know Before i Start Trading Cryptocurrency on: March 24, 2018, 11:24:40 AM
For me, the golden rule of trading crypto currency is the mandatory written fixing of orders and strategies. With an active game performed at any type of distance, the recording of planned, realized orders for each of the directions will help to calculate the average purchase price, the formation of its own sales strategy.
Before starting off the trade, the first thing which you need to do is that you need to gather some good amount of money which you can then use for the sake of investing into any of the crypto coin and above all, you also need to learn all the basics and the fundamentals things which are necessary for you to know to become successful in trading. Get the experience first and then invest large amount of money.
Gathering good amount of money should even come last. Personally, I always tell those who want to trade that if they are sure they are ready and they have learned as much as they can which should guide them apparently, then they should start with little and practice what they have learned.

With that, they will definitely be able to gain some experience and confidence before going in big and may be by then; they can now decide to start gathering big amount of money to trade.
1662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: March 24, 2018, 10:28:19 AM
What you mean by playing bitcoin? College education is important and a degree will give you some credibility. Can't you do both together?
I am sure maybe he wants to turn himself to those wealthy men like bill gates with idea that opted out of school to build their dreams. In this case though, he wants to opt out to live on an idea of Satoshi. If someone does not realize by now how important education is, then I wonder what they are doing in school.

Bitcoin is an instrument for payment, it cannot be played as you can only earn it, and like you said, with all the little things around, if he cannot combine schooling and earning together passively, then he will only end up a garage boy with no plans.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your criteria to assess an ICO? on: March 24, 2018, 08:39:05 AM
This question a lot of people ask on this forum. But I also offer some basic evaluation criteria as follows: First you analyze the ICO's products that have potential in the future, the project management team has in-depth knowledge, clear roadmap, and on the web site must show a clear capital mobilization. Join the group Telegram or facebook to see the opinions of other members.
Yeah, product and team will always come first for me as well. What is the point investing in an empty promise as that is what some ICOs always end up doing ?

As long as you can see a product or some code, then you should be able to access the team to see what they are capable of doing and if they are for real. If a team does not look like some that can do the job or just some school boys looking to make some quick cash, I always stay away. I am investing in a project with future not promises.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No listed on coinmarketcap on: March 24, 2018, 07:23:31 AM
Coinmarketcap lists only coins that have trading volume above certain threshould.
They have the full terms and prerequisites for listing a coin on their website.
Yeah, and as long as the coin or token does not meet up with the volume on any of the exchanges they are being traded on, then it will not be listed. However, with respect to the OP's question, this does not mean they are bad or does not also mean they are good. It all balls down on the team and the product that actually backs up the coin or the token. As long as this is a good project that would easily fly when the market is back, it would most definitely get a boost.

I noticed a lots of coin on exchange site which are not listed on coinmarketcap. Should I buy those coin/token?
As long as you know they have a good product backing, the possibility of growth in the future and an active team, then you can go ahead, if not, you better do not try it because you may just end up bag holding a shit coin for the rest of your life unless you are just lucky to see it get pumped and quickly sell out before the dump.  Coinmarketcap usually do not list low traded volume coins, and that is why you would not see some of them.
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: March 24, 2018, 04:48:53 AM
Agree, there is no reason for panic. Think positive and all coins will grow  much more than they were before Smiley
As long as you even know that what you are holding is full of potentials, there is no need to be bothered or worried because at the end, the market always recover strongly and those who are panicking now will end up getting the experience of why most of us keep telling them to hold.

It is a matter of time and patience and there is no one that holding has never paid. Panicking will not solve anything but emotional trauma, so the best is to relax and wait for the long term which most people decided as the reason to invest anyway.
1666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long or Short since Bitcoin reached 8800 again? on: March 24, 2018, 04:16:35 AM
I'm shorting until a week after the G20 meeting and all the upcoming news.

For me it's profitable for now.
The news from the G20 meeting has actually been a positive one and nothing much to cause any panic at all despite all that has been created already before now. I believe the market is trying to achieve some little level of stability and maybe usher us into an accumulation period, but I guess we will have to wait and see for now how things will end up turning out.

I have been short for a while now since when we did a double top at the $11k region and only went a little bit long with the way things turned out a little bit with the divergence on the MACD on the 4 hour chart which brought in a little bit of rally anyway. So far, I am still just trying ti play along with the market to see how things turn out eventually, so I am just trying to be careful.
1667  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: Where are we now? on: March 23, 2018, 12:50:17 PM
none of the above, not because I don't have a prediction for bitcoin price after this point but because no matter what happens and no matter what that may look similar to, it still wouldn't be a repetition of the past.
just because some trend happened before it doesn't mean it will happen again.

the funny thing is, pretty soon none of these would matter at all. you will look back and see all these ups and downs like a dot on a bigger picture. the "boom" has not yet happened so this chart is like looking at 1 min chart and trying to predict the next year's price from it.
Always love reading your comments a lot and the thing is that a lot of people always want to judge with what has happened in the past and that keeps them away from focusing on the future. It is normal, if you live in the past, you will definitely remain in the past. This is now, this is a new record, and whatever happens should be accepted as what is meant to happen. I also agree with the fact that, we have a long way to go in the future and no one would even remember now by then because we would have been long gone from it.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: The DEATH CROSS is in. How low will we go? on: March 23, 2018, 12:14:08 PM
We can't say yet but if bitcoin backs to $7k level I think it will crash again up to $6k. I see no more bad news about cryptocurrency aside from banning the advertisements in fact a lot of good news during G20 summit but yeah, it looks like its not able to break the resistance. We can wait for more weeks and I believe it can finally break that wall and go even higher.
Yes, there is no bad news, the atmosphere is gradually changing and I do not see how this would really be the case. Before we even see the 50 and 200MA crossing, we should have seen a huge bounce already in the market with volume kicking in. I do not know, but at least I expect the bulls to be somewhere around the corner, ready to do something.

Moreover, OP kind of guys all should stop all this bullshit with the death cross, it may be looming but does not mean it would happen. We are bouncing and volume can kick in, and at least let it cross first before spreading some unnecessary panic. I know this would not be good because that would cause some panic dump in the market but, I feel we have gotten past this stage already once we show sign of recovery and strength.
1669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: March 23, 2018, 11:18:40 AM
What I mean by straight HODL is that your hold through the crashes and the rises until you inevitably cash our and by trading I mean that you hold for a few months and then sell into fiat and wait for the expected dip/recession.
What i've noticed over the past years is that if I was less greedy and just cashed out after a reasonable profit and then held until the inevitable crashed, I would have made much more money than if i just held or bought another coin.

An example of this is when I bought eth at 475 and sold at 1380.  Right after I sold I bought ltc at 230 thinking that it was gonna skyrocket after some of the money from the eth will flow back into the other coins.  The problem with that was that the entire market crashed and so if I were to just hold my fiat i would have been able to easily double my money.

Let me know what your guys's thoughts are on this.

That is the risks involve. We don't know when the market will pump or dump. For now, I suggest that you hold your coins that you currently have and if you have more capital, take this opportunity to buy more coins. The crypto market is not green right now but I truly believe that this is just a trial in which when the market overcomes, will give us a stronger and more profitable industry.
None of us can know anything but we can at least use our sense, the indicators, the movements in the candle based on price action to know what to do. It is always good that whenever taking the step of trading, one should always have the knowledge but the truth is some may not even have the time, and would rather just hold for as long as they can without bothering themselves about what the market is going through since they already understand the volatility of the market and they have other better things to do.

In simple words from my experience, holding is the thing I am doing from day one and trading has become possible for me after gaining some knowledge on it. In same way, holding is for everyone and for any time but not trading.
1670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 23, 2018, 10:39:17 AM
Previous few month we see all altcoin price is decrease. So at this time how I recover my loss.I decided one think,I want to sell my all altcoin now.And try to start trade and recovery again. It's possible? Can I do this.Tell me your opinion, can do or not?

Just sell all your altcoins as long as the price will really the same as the profit you loss. Well trading is a great thing to recover our loss but this requires strategies and a wise decision to become successful with trading. But if I loss, I want to stand up where I lossed. If I loss because of altcoins then I still wait until altcoins go up.
As long as you have not sold at loss, then you have nothing to worry about because every market at the end usually end up recovering and if you cannot wait for the moment of recovery when you will be swimming in huge profit, then you will only end up playing the wrong card trying to trade without having any knowledge about it.

Like you have mentioned in your last statement, it is always better to wait for the market to move up and then you can decide anything you want by then. Otherwise, managing to be profitable in trading is nearly impossible for all types of traders.
1671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: March 23, 2018, 10:03:17 AM
All successful businessmen and entrepreneurs are all facing the high risk in order to gain high in return in which their very secret of success therefore if some of us were afraid of the risk which is normal in business particularly in trading and investments then they should not joining and should keep their money in the bank then make it sleep. For this for sure they will be at ease and worry free.
They always say the only way high successful businessmen are that successful is because they always get greedy and want to make more money. The truth is that it is normal to get greedy if you are doing so for the right reasons and you are being smart about it. There are some risk that some would take that does not make any sense and some that one would take and is going to be worth it, so at the end, it is always good to take some pretty good risks for the future.

These days, if you are not even ready to take some SMART risks, one will just remain in one position for life. Some took a smart risk back in 2010/2011 and now they have been able to do well for themselves. The thing is to get the opportunity, study well about it and see how you can be a part of it and being smart about it at the same time. Sometimes, we may lose, sometimes we may win, but when smart about it, it should still be better than not taking the risk at all.
1672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on? on: March 23, 2018, 09:15:39 AM
Im also worried about the continuous price drop of bitcoin. Ive been holding my bitcoin for quite a while now. But you see being paranoid won't help me, I wanted to stay optimistic and believe that bitcoin will recover from all if this crashes.

I understand that many people try to launch FUD to create FOMO, so keep up the psychology in this market otherwise you will be led by the nose.
You cannot launch FUD to create FOMO, you either create FUD to drop the price, or create a huge spike to spring in some FOMOs in the market. Whichever way, it is always the style used for whales to make some huge money in the market and that is what I see going on. The market now is a really volatile one and we just have to live with it, but having this now, does not mean the market will not recover and get better in the long run.
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: March 22, 2018, 09:01:21 AM
Regardless of how actively the crypto currency is introduced into our life, banks will always exist, since any government decisions that concern finances are implemented through centralized banks. It was always and so it will be in the future. Crypto currency in this regard can not completely replace conventional money and is not capable of leading to theft of the banking system.
Banks should not even consider cryptocurrency as a threat. We are just busy deceiving ourselves to think the banks will just get eradicated with a decentralized ecosystem. Way too much thinking and something that obviously will not come to reality. Banks serve so many functions apart from savings, and even if time comes that cryptocurrency becomes regulated, banks can always find a way to fit in, so at the end, they will always have a huge advantage in the picture.

I even feel we over hype the whole thing sometimes since we usually do not consider the fact that not everyone is a fan of the internet and would rather prefer the traditional way, so that makes bank still relevant obviously. Also, we have to understand that not everyone have access to the internet, most especially in some third world countries, so we need not to forget them in our discussion.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 22, 2018, 08:17:52 AM
I agree with you, when we start any investment or trading then we should be-careful and search about it mustily, Otherwise a big loss is waiting for us, if we start trading without search. Once a time, i started investment in a site without any search and later on this site was scam me. So that was a bad experience for me, and till now i search firstly and secondly i do start, and as you explain these are basic and necessary rules, every new trader should follow these.
Yeah, being careful is the only thing that can really help us to take advantage of the good ones. As risky as the ICO space sounds, we are the ones who either make it risky for ourselves by not doing what is important.

I cannot get scared away from ICO because a bunch of them are scams, but the best is to find ways to filter out by yourselves the good ones from the bad ones, which a lot of people usually do not. I even get to take the team member first before going through any whitepaper so as to clear my doubts in that direction.
1675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is removing a lot of coins on: March 22, 2018, 07:35:20 AM
It is a fair move. It can be expensive to run the right infrastructure per coin and you would start to incur losses with low volume and especially on coins with broken blockchains.
Yes, most especially with broken blockchain that is a whole lot for the exchange to handle. The cryptocurrency space is filled up with a lot of scam coins which is one of the reasons why a lot of investors should be careful in whatever they are putting their funds, so they do not end up bag holding shit coins. It is a good move from bittrex, to at least clean the altcoin space on its platform.

Removing coins from listing is what I want to call bittrex cleaning the whole atmosphere and trying to get rid of coins that cannot really be considered as some legitimate ones. It is a good thing they are trying to do though and I am very certain this is as a result of being in the US and with the number of policies and regulations going on, I am not at all surprised at their actions. Obviously all the aforementioned coins are all shit coins, and anyone holding them should sure be bag holding right now.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: March 21, 2018, 01:01:00 PM
most coin ico falls below price. it is true..   but some coins make x3 x5.. so it is necessary to investigate well. you also see the situation of the market, all the coins are falling.
ICO generally is like gambling for me most of the times. Sometimes, you get to see the token hit the exchange and before you know it, the price ends up going down and then you start wondering why you did not even wait for that period before buying in the first place but we cannot know the future can we ?

I have seen some hit a huge one once launched on an exchange and most times during a high trend, so I am not surprised and sometimes, some investors may just want to make some quick bucks, so it ends up being first come first serve basis.
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS team dumping ETH on: March 21, 2018, 05:48:13 AM
Make sense that they will start liquidating ETH towards their mainnet launch.
They will need to fund things, marketing, scaling things up, and etc.
Well, all we are just basically doing here is to speculate without any single proof of EOS team dumping ETH for real and even if they have decided to dump ETH for EOS, it is their market and they can decide to do whatever they like to get the coin supported, and I believe ETH is strong enough to keep itself going. However, I do not see how all these actually sum up with what is going on in the market presently, and I may be wrong, but it does not seem like real news.

What makes OP thinks that the EOS team is dumping ETH. At least even if he is trying to share something he must have read somewhere which to me is more of fake news, probably next time, he should share the source. The whole market is in correction, it is not the first time, and it would not be the last, so looking for reasons for that is absurd.
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will (LTC) Litecoin be more valuable than (BCH) Bitcoin Cash in 2018? on: March 21, 2018, 04:28:01 AM
TechSpecs is really an interesting  project in the year, with great concept and solid team, i believe this project is going to the moon
LTC obviously have a lot of prospect than BCH will ever have. I ended up losing the little tiny faith I had in BCH which was totally close to nothing anyway, since the day bros Roger decided to take it on himself to start manipulating the BCH market.

This is not a war, and if he feels there is a need to get the coin out there for high demand, then he should work on making it useful and pump will never help with that, but I guess he is a scammer himself who just like pumping and dumping on new traders who are looking for quick money.
1679  Economy / Speculation / Re: When? on: March 20, 2018, 08:03:41 AM
I love crypto world and I`m supporter of bitcoin, so I want bitcoin to be more stable than before, based on my personal experience bitcoin price is multify in every year so, may I ask to anyone here who knows that bitcoin price will reach the higher price again.

I think many bitcoin user choose to hold their bitcoin instead of use it to their personal needs so bitcoin price is decreasing.
Did anyone tell you last year they already knew from the onset that before the end of last year, bitcoin will attain an ATH of 19,800? No one can bro! Whatever you listen to as to what the price of bitcoin would be by the end of the year are just pure speculations and nothing else.

Additionally everyone in the market serves a purpose and what you said about those who are holding affecting the market negatively is wrong. Moreover, if things get better and bitcoin can be used easily as a currency, things should change and that is what we are all looking out for.
1680  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if trading in Bitcoin was your source of income? on: March 20, 2018, 07:14:12 AM
I think there are many people in crypto who like to think they're great traders but it's mostly because they're operating in a very favourable market. When prices are moving like they have been the last weeks only the best are the ones making good profits. I've had very good (by my own standards) success since entering crypto but the last weeks have been a blood bath for me because I am not experienced or brave enough yet to profit in such a market.
First and foremost, what do you consider a favorable market ? Every market is favorable for you if you have a great idea of what you are doing and you are not just trading blindly. Traders make money in buying as well as selling and as long as this is a trend that will always happen in every market even in every short period of time, traders will keep making money even in a dip. They are all trends and they are not for decoration.

What are the effects of these days dips for you as a trader?
None! Making money just like I would have made in an uptrend as a trader. Trader is not looking for a particular trend before trading; the only difference is that they may just try as much as possible to trade safely considering the level of FUD in the market. Still, the market keeps fluctuating and as long as that is intact, the market is still very good to trade and nothing stops a good trader from making money.
