2581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinMoney - Second Chance to Mine Bitcoin on: August 12, 2019, 10:29:12 PM

It means BitcoinMoney was created from the open source software Bitcoin (which all alts are derived from anyways), like litecoin, ethereum, etc.  BitcoinMoney is an alt coin.

Before, coins created via walletbuilders are known to be crappy one. I don't know if the reputation has changed already. If you use walletbuilders, people will gonna speculate that your coin will be another pumpndump coin or just another crap. Let us see how this coin will prove otherwise...
2582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE TOP 20 UID OF BITCOINTALK on: August 11, 2019, 11:22:49 PM
To sum it all up, only #12 - nanaimogold is the only active account up until today. I wonder how much bitcoin he is holding right now.  Tongue
2583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 11, 2019, 10:53:24 PM
Sooner or later some agencies will try to shut down chipmixer. I hope they have a backup plan for that.

The moment agencies figure out that there is a new mixer in town, they are trying their best to get it to shut down. In other words, agencies of all sorts have been after ChipMixer and other mixers for a long time now. The weakest ones have been taken out unfortunately, where the strongest ones will gain more dominance and thus have more financial resources to not fall victim to governmental raids.

The long term problem I see is that with more advanced tools to their disposal, agencies will be getting better at what they do. They are catching up real fast, while most people here believe governments are still ignorant and don't understand Bitcoin. They just play stupid. They know what's going on.

Very astute deduction. Which is why I don’t send any coins into any mixers.

What will happen is mixers will be considered tainted coins by many different governments.

So it would be very wise to not send a coin into their accounts.
That and you're getting flagged for audit if any of them do keep logs and algorithms that get seized as part of a plea deal with the government that takes them down. Seriously even for non malicious reasons I wouldn't use a mixer, you are probably getting tainted coins and exchanges has proven to seize them before on behalf of governments.

Chipmixer might be in the hot seat right now but I guess they are doing some contingencies before their dreaded situation happens. They should know that sooner or later, they will face such situation like this and they should be prepared for it. Now, that they are in the limelight, they should do a swift action on this matter.
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NEW] [IEO] iCoin International - Investing in real diamond mining on: August 11, 2019, 10:37:28 PM
Right so at a school reunion you could say that you are a diamond company iCoin co-owner LOL

That's actually a good idea there!  Grin But it would only happen if this project pushes thru no matter what. Because from my observations, blockchain projects claiming to be backed by precious metals like this ended up crap or not successful. Even if they say they are legit company, most of them are not successful in doing their business via crypto. Just my thoughts here...
2585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if Bitcoin Dominance increases by more than 80%? on: August 11, 2019, 10:20:06 PM
It's not far from reality, we are almost at 70% BTC dominance now. But as to what will be the effect on altcoin market? Obviously, it will continue to bleed and altcoins investors are going to suffer more. Unless they quickly decided to move out and just put their money on BTC.

But as for altcoin's smart investors, I'm pretty sure that they already shift their funds when the price of BTC touches $6000 this year. Remember that after hitting a all-time-low (ATL) of $3200, BTC suddenly went on a mini-bull run. So for those altcoins investors who get out early, it's a bold move but it is very rewarding. Not saying that the rest of altcoin investors to jump on the BTC bandwagon today, but it you can't make money out of the altcoin market right now, you need to think of other options, IMHO.

Bitcoin dominance is already high and achieving 80% would not be too far from happening. The adoption is increasing day by day because of the merchants, shops and big companies which are starting to include btc as their payment method. So I would not be surprised if btc will increase its price in the coming months. However, altcoins should establish their use case or applications in the market to stay relevant in this game. Many will disappear as most of them were created for the sake of devs' profits and the likes.
2586  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: August 11, 2019, 09:45:00 PM
Animation literally means nothing, I don't understand why would anyone care about it. After all the animation is there to create some sort of excitement factor but the result doesn't change at all, it is literally just a text result normally and what you get animation is just making it maybe a second longer for you to see the result. It is individual thing of course, if you don't like it than you can disable it but it doesn't matter to me enough to actually go out of my way to disable it since its not really that much of an important thing for me.

However, what bothers me test sound not being actually sound enough, I don't know if we can increase the volume but I would love it if it really makes a sound big enough to get attention, I have been saying that for a long time now, a HUGE sound would be awesome, at least as an option.

Animation thing is also not a big deal for me. I guess the freebitco team just added that feature so it would not be so boring playing on their site. Every individual has really their own preferences.

Maybe, if the sound for you is not enough. Use an external speaker for your computer. And then from that, you can increase the volume of the sound.  Wink
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: August 10, 2019, 11:23:17 PM
there is no point if we can only regret it, it's better to think back to find a solution so that our investment does not always lose.

Don't blame yourself regarding your past decisions if some of them went wrong. Maybe at that point, that's the best decision that you can think of. So if later on, you realized that it's not the best one, just moved on. Else, you will be crazy thinking of what should have been done and should haven't. At least you learn a lesson or two for your next battle.
2588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Did you trade with this exchanges before? on: August 10, 2019, 10:37:52 PM
I have a account in exmarkets.com exchange and I used only one time, everything is normal not smooth. I have no idea about vindax.com exchange.

I created an account in exmarkets because I received tokens from bounty campaign before that is listed in this exchange. But after I sold my tokens, I have never traded in that exchange again. Vindax - I have never heard and never used.
2589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is happening now? on: August 10, 2019, 10:27:15 PM
The trend cannot continue as it has always been. Yes, we had a better growth trend for all coins in 2017. Everything seem to EB following suit, until they began to plunge in 2018.
We actual need a system where we will be able to distinguish clearly between god and bad project, which is why we see few coins grow at this time that even bitcoin is growing.
With the new trend, scam projects and coins are easily evicted and they do not last long.

You can easily pinpoint potential scam projects as they are giving hints on becoming one. Promising overwhelming targets or if you observe pump and dump scenarios in exchanges. Later on, they will get exhausted of what they are doing, and they will just let their project dies down.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: August 09, 2019, 11:47:32 PM
that is something new for me. I just found out that publishOx is like steemit. Even supports BAT. Maybe I should try it. For others, such as working in crypto, it is currently difficult to find work in crypto, because there are too many rivals.

Or even if you earn crypto coins, you have no assurance if they have good value in the market once you received it. Look for projects that pay altcoins which are already in the market, so it would not be too difficult to sell them if you need it. If you are good in writing, this kind of work might be of aid to you in generating additional income.
2591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: August 09, 2019, 11:06:34 PM
People could say that they are on bad days when they lose in trading or even losing the value of their portfolio. Mainly they don't understand the market behavior and just because they only want more upclimbing price which it is impossible to happen.
We need to be patient all the way because the market will always be volatile and prices won't stay at high all the time.

It is true that a lot of people complain when the price goes down, but that's a normal scenario in the market. You should know how to take advantage of the situation. The decline of price is a good opportunity to buy and store more btc. Because more than likely, in the next few weeks or months, the price is going up again. You can also do short-term trading if you can't wait that long. The 24-hour period can already give you profits if you know what you are doing.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are big leaders now opposing cryptocurrencies suddenly? on: August 09, 2019, 10:42:06 PM
Do we need permission from them before investing in cryptocurrency? ts surprising that the big leaders are now opposing cryptocurrencies because they know what cryptocurrency can do. Sometimes its really ridiculous. They just want us to panic.

For newbies in crypto, they might panic hearing their thoughts about crypto. But for old timers here, our lives go on. We don't need them to invest in crypto. I'd say later on, I believe their staunch on crypto will change. Maybe, they need to be intensively educated with cryptocurrencies and blockchain, so they will learn the benefits that a specific institution can derive from it.
2593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks $12,000 Before Plunging, Crypto Markets Turn Downward on: August 08, 2019, 11:42:10 PM

The Bitcoin price is currently down 0.67% on the day, trading at $11,673, according to Coin360. Looking at its weekly chart, the coin is up by about 17.27%.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-breaks-12-000-before-plunging-crypto-markets-turn-downward

It's just another day of bitcoin.

I think this should be on Speculation section but reading the article content, it's way better for me at Trading Discussion since it can be considered as the reference for day traders.

Yes, the article might be of help to traders to gain more insights regarding btc trading. But anyhow, this is just another day for bitcoin. Nothing special about this movement. But it is good to follow the btc trends especially if you are a holder of this coin.
2594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 07, 2019, 11:51:29 PM
I check it everyday, watching btc price movement. I don't care about altcoin, my only goal is to look at the price of bitcoin, because he really has a big effect. It can be said like this, bitcoin is soaring, then altcoin will soon follow it.

Same here as well. Actually many times of the day, after I wake up and before I go to bed. This is like really your life already if you are into cryptocurrencies. Never passed a day without checking the btc price even if you are not trading that day. I don't think it is addiction though, just a normal life of a crypto user.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, ETH, and XRP To Become Mainstream By 2024? on: August 06, 2019, 06:44:58 PM
I think that this will inevitably happen before 2025. The popularization that began in 2017 continues to develop in big steps. Every person in the world already knows about cryptocurrencies.

Maybe a lot know crypto at that time, but I don't think all of them will use crypto in their daily lives. Those who are residing in rural or remote areas will still prefer to use their fiat money, I guess. There is a large percentage living on this Earth that are not yet tap by electricity, so I doubt they will be part of this blockchain revolution.
2596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is slow in price? on: August 06, 2019, 05:42:20 PM
if BTC does not fall again there is a chance that ETH can continue to rise. During this time the growth of altcoin is disrupted because of the dominance of bitcoin, and when bitcoin falls it makes all assets also go down. it clearly inhibits the growth of altcoin.
bitcoin now has a big influence on the movements of all the altcoins below, so it is indeed the rise and fall of altcoin prices today as it follows the movements of bitcoin prices but for a trader with a price drop like this isn't this a good opportunity to buy eth at cheap prices?

Actually, this is good opportunity to buy if you have money to invest in crypto. Because the likelihood of increasing the price in the coming months is very high. As bitcoin grows and increases its price, a lot of cryptocurrencies will follow and eth is one of them.
2597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Found an Exchange With Free Coin Listings? on: August 05, 2019, 10:33:58 PM
Ahh good thanks for the info. Should be somewhat skeptical looking at the Registar:

New or not, without trading fees, no exchanges can operate in the long run.

They should at least need some funds to cover all exchanges operations and cost.

Where do you saw that exchange? I don't want to think that you promoting it here even you are just asking a question.

Encountered this thread so I checked this exchange. The volume is relatively low, so if you are in a hurry to trade your coins, I believe this exchange is not for you. The coin listing is free so I won't be surprised if later on, they have a lot of crap coins listed.
2598  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐁🐁MiceRace.com -The worlds first mouse racing gambling platform !🐁🐁 on: August 04, 2019, 10:54:10 PM
I have to admit, this is such a great idea. I tried, it is a bit quick but is fun + I had some profit. I am glad to see that mice are healthy and you guys are taking care of them gently. I hope this will be a big platform one day. Cheers!

They really need to work on getting their players on board. Right now, I am only seeing 13 people online, but maybe it will increase when the race starts. This site attracted attention at the very start of launching this site in this forum, but I wonder why there are not so many players in here? Any plans from the dev team to attract more bettors?
2599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 17,800,000 BTC already mined on: August 04, 2019, 10:45:41 PM
We still have a long years to go before all bitcoin will be fully mined. This is just year 2019, we do still have about 121 years to go. Most of us wouldn't be around then when the finally block will be mined. This means miners are going to stay enjoying the benefit of mining bitcoin.

Do not worry. We will not see these times. However, the price of Bitcoin will be going up each year, especially if we are talking about 15-20 years period. I believe that not so many people are ready to wait for this time. Thus, the idea of daily trading seems to be much more attractive. It is a risk, but if you become a very skillful trader, you will get profits always.

This is really a good opportunity for traders, short-term trading will give you profits at a very short period of time. And since the adoption is growing everyday, the value of bitcoin will continue to increase in the coming years, which is also good for long-term holders. But I am wondering how many bitcoins are considered lost from those 17.8M coins?
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake trade volumes on: August 04, 2019, 10:28:30 PM
I've some concerns and queries, i observed that many altcoins even some major coins create fake volume, if a project is new and initially listed on a small exchange and create fake volume it's obvious understood that they're trying to get listed on coinmarketcap, but A coin which is existed in everywhere, even big exchanges but still they create fake volume on small exchanges, what this means? Why they do that? Is everything just done by exchanges or project itself, and also that makes a clear difference in prices as compared to official price of market that makes frustrated.

This is a purpose of small exchange, when they manipulate volume it will make a trade history in their exchange. If they make fake volume in new coin or small coin it won't attract many users, but if they make fake volume with popular coin it will attract many user to use their exchange and and trade thoose coin. Let say you want to use thoose exchange and want to start to trade popular coin, i guest you won't get any profit.

I saw some small exchange doing this, but when i start trade i got no profit and i realize that that's fake volume / fake order. When you meet exchange with this condition, withdraw your coin soon as possible and dont use it again

Yes, you will surely know if an exchange is doing the wash trading or faking the volume of a particular coin. If you are an experienced trader, you can easily spot those trends. And once you saw such performance, better get out and trade with more reputable exchanges. Better lose a lil bit of money rather than lose all your investments.
