Ireland Women vs West Indies Women team playing the league match. Ireland Women have won the toss and decided to bat. Ireland Women lost its first wicket in the very first over. Further Prendergast and Lewis have developed good partnership and Ireland Women at 97 runs after 13 overs. Probably this match could go closer and I find this to be winning match for Ireland Women team, if the target is above 160 runs.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 17, 2023, 11:56:27 AM
Scotland vs Nepal

Big disappointment for Scotland. 274 runs is quite good in ODI and Nepal have reached the target in 47 overs with 18 balls remaining. Nepal have won the toss and decided to bowl, Michael Leask scored 107* runs and the rest contributed in two digits making it a better score.

Nepal started to chase the target. Continued wicket fall and at some point Nepal's score was 77/5, further the bottom order performed well and won the match. It was Dipendra Singh Airee's 85* runs and Kushal Malla's 81(67 balls) that made Nepal win against Scotland.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 17, 2023, 11:47:24 AM
Regularly going with 5-6 runs per over clearly shows that now Poms have no interest in a traditional way of playing test cricket, where batters used to grind all day. One can argue that under previous leadership they lost so many matches that they don't trust their defense anymore and adopted an ODI approach in test cricket. At the same time no one can deny that it's very exciting to watch and under Baz-Ben's leadership, this method turned out to be very successful. Aussies will have a tough time in the upcoming Ashes.
Isn't it better to score quickly by losing some wickets rather than scoring slowly by losing quick wickets? England has batted in the aggressive style against New Zealand in the first innings. England has whitewashed New Zealand in 2022 test series by playing in the aggressive mode. I think we are going to see the repetition of that series again. New Zealand is in under pressure now by losing the 3 wickets quickly.

you are right England's batsmen played well in the 2022 Test series and managed to win every match in the series. And in this series too, we are seeing the same kind of gameplay from the England team. The pitch is not batting-friendly. So England's batting was quite good. Since the pitch is not batting-friendly, now teams should aim to score runs by any means.

New Zealand batsmen are not able to play well. Although Devon Conway played well, no other batsmen could support him. Devon Conway remains unbeaten with 66 runs. And at the moment, New Zealand's collection is 127 runs with the loss of 5 wickets.
As long as the English team succeeds in this, these things will proceed. The idea of doing experiments is also a good one since many people around the world are no longer interested in test cricket. By playing ODIs style, they have changed this format. So far, England has done a fantastic job. They took six wickets of New Zealand because of their approach. Devon Conway remained strong until reach 77 runs as Stokes' got his wickets. New Zealand batters should perhaps change their batting approaches like England, as there is still a long way to go.
A nice test match to watch. England completed its first innings in a day scoring 325 runs, and by the second day New Zealand have ended it's innings scoring 306 runs. The match is really interesting as the result can be in favour of any of the teams. England have begun it's second innings and have scored 79 runs losing 2 wickets. Both England and New Zealand are playing in the similar way.
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting ready for $25K, How? on: February 17, 2023, 12:00:13 AM
Alright.

After we saw bitcoin gets $25,100. Then it's starting to have some correction again and was out of $24k too quick.

Price as of typing is $23,729 and this is not surprising because we always get this at most times. Whenever bitcoin pushes for some higher price, it will be followed by a bit of correction.

And then the cycle goes on afterwards but what's important is we saw that it has broken $25k.
The price move had taken the price above $25k and fallen back below $24k. As mentioned it have crossed a price barrier and the same assure of growth above $25k at the shortest. We haven't got any incident that connects the market bounce as well as the drop. The price correction will keep the market around $23k for some time period.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap food: can you beat this price in your country? on: February 16, 2023, 11:57:10 PM
When it comes to food, it is upto the end user who makes it. There are families that live the entire month with the same $35. Between different countries this changes and restaurants offering such low price meals is really impressive and when the competence is high, to stay on the top it is a must to compromise on the price. Over time the price will be increased, which is the base of business. Lets see whether the price is being increased over time.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: February 16, 2023, 11:52:33 PM
It won't affect me much, because I don't have big holding of bitcoin. I'm hard believer of bitcoin, but I was not in a situation to invest. What I earn gets used for regular needs. I've been trying for a long to hold something for long term and I wasn't able to do it. Hope by 2024 I'll make something and when you have the ability to hold, there is nothing to worry on Bitcoin crash.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of global recession is real or just a speculation? on: February 16, 2023, 11:41:21 PM
Global recession is real. We can experience it in our daily life. Another thing is the billionaires suggestions. Jeff Bezos who is business man and the revenue is out of his consumers. He itself had suggested not to buy products if there is no need for it. Buy only the things that are highly essential and he had made it in connection with the global economic situation. Based on several such incidents global recession is true.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin Dumping ? on: February 13, 2023, 11:37:30 PM
Any body holding from when Bitcoin was $100 would laugh at your question.  Bitcoin will fluctuate.  It always has.  Now you either panic and pretend to be a crystal ball or you be smart and play the market.

Market is volatile all around and that is the reality of bitcoin. We're into the important week as more things are to be announced and the same can have positive as well as negative impact over the market of Bitcoin. Tomorrow CPI announcement which could make some changes. Following day is for US retail sales announcement, followed is the Unemployment claims. So, every information could make some noise in the market.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: February 13, 2023, 11:31:46 PM
Trading done by someone and trading done by us have got difference. Whenever you prefer to do trading it is good to make your own strategy. The strategy followed by someone doesn't workout for us and the same could lead to loss. So, whenever you're into trading it is good to follow traders, whether it is one who is hot in the market or a traditional trader. Then rather than following them wild taking their suggestions as reference will help to make better trade choices.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2023, 10:42:32 PM
Just because those coins that aren't transacted for a long time being considered lost doesn't mean they can't be used forever. It is like what we have with traditional long term investment. When one holds the access to the wallet, there is nothing to worry how long the wallet is being kept idle without any transaction. The bitcoin in the wallet will be considered and the same helps with different calculation in the market.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone making 4 or 5 digits (USD) monthly from Crypto Sports betting? on: February 13, 2023, 10:31:10 PM
Sportybet.com is the common betting site i often used, it's secure, transparent and reliable. No withdrawal issues and no stress during kyc processing.
And secondly, stake.com, duelbits.com i have known these gambling site to be a trusted and reliable site without any bad records, btw i don't think people do use sport betting to earn a living rather could be taken for an alternatives means of income which is not guaranteed nor certain.

So far there is no individual who will race their hands claiming they earn 4-5 digitals monthly in sports betting. There could be but are not bragging about it. High rollers are very private as well.

If a person is a sports fan and has been following the sport and the athletes, I don't see any reason why he can't cast a prediction of which team will win. We are always bias in watching games.
None risks big to make big earning. Through sports betting it is possible, and in recent days we've seen a good number of unexpected results with sports events. Similar things happen much when we go for bets. When we haven't placed a bet and predicted a team to win, it happens. The same won't happen when we had placed some bets. Consistency in making 4-5 digit earning out of sports betting isn't possible all the time, because luck won't be in favour of us all the time.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling safer than before ? on: February 13, 2023, 10:22:33 PM
In the past robbers pretending to be gamblers can be seen around the Casinos waiting for the win to happen for any person. Once winning amounts were handled to the winner these robbers steal them away. Now, everything is under hard security and crimes were almost zero. Incidents like the one mentioned used to happen in localities where people play within themselves placing bets.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 13, 2023, 10:17:00 PM
South Africa women vs New Zealand women
The match was started and South Africa women on the toss and select to batting first. It's been 8.3 over has been finished they score 55 with losing for wickets and their run rate is 6.47.
The run rate has been good so far but after the fall of the last wicket, they seem to be under a bit of pressure. Still, they still have a lot of balls to spare and six wickets to spare.  But New Zealand women are not bad players either but today I am going to take South Africa.
What a shameful performance from the Kiwi's as they lost their second match in a row and lost badly after having amazing performance in bowling they crushed by South African bowlers and not able to have decent score while they were chasing 133 all out on 67 runs which is poor from them after having 76 against Australia in their first match of this event.

With this performance they are out of the event's race for the last four and host having good opportunity even most chances we will have final decision through run rate because Australia could be at the top and then Sri Lanka and South Africa will be having fight for the second spot but here if Sri Lankan's beats New Zealand we can expect their entry into last four as well.
This isn't expected from the New Zealand Women team. The team that did good bowling and restricted South Africa at 132 runs and unable to win is really poor performance. The team hadn't won the match, atleast they could've crossed 100 runs. I'm expecting some unexpected outcomes to happen in the ICC Women World Cup T20.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 13, 2023, 10:11:23 PM
Rotterdam has started today, ATP500 so there are lits of big names at it. I'm watching Wawrinka
v Bublik ATM and have a bet in Wawrinka @ 1.74, which is nice, He is up one set now.

Earlier Gasquet beat the no.7 seed Carreno Busta.

Tomorrow is a big name packed day, Zverev, Tsitsipas, FAA, Medvedev, Rune and Hurkacz,
ML odds are not great though.

Indeed. Interesting games can probably be seen there. The odds are really not great. But that can still change.
I will certainly watch Zverev. It is important for him to regain his fitness and confidence. I am also curious about FAA. He has to slowly bring more consistency into his game and also win a game without losing a set.
When the match goes live the odds will change and it is good to go select an odd once the first set gets over. The young players weren't the topic on the Sports page for a long. This means there is no big performance have come out of them. Possible upcoming matches need to be very interesting and good play needs to come out of them. I'm on the wait to watch the doubles event of Tsitsipas
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 13, 2023, 12:07:26 AM
I only know Eddie who is owner of Stake from this category, he usually don't wager much but he gambles on stream at Saturday. Afaik, the owners don't play that much for obvious reasons, it is his loss or win so it doesn't sound as cool as other gamblers play, IMO. Investing in the financial markets is best option, so they don't take gambling seriously. Imagine hitting max win and slot pays max win payout from your own budget.

We can't take this as an example because that is done through a live stream and more of a regular marketing park of the Stake.

I'm sure these owners don't really take gambling as their main activity because handling a company is really time-consuming.

Regardless, I do think that it's not a big deal if these owners gamble as long as they are taking properly of their business.
What the higher authorities of a gambling does is real marketing. We can't make a connect with real gambling. This doesn't gonna give any kind of feel or experience, because whether it is a win/loss this doesn't affect them in any means.

Owners focus will be much into diversifying the revenue generated out of any particular business. According to me, casino owners will be having more businesses. So, what's been earned will be invested on something else. We can't be sure to make the same revenue through gambling business all time.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2023, 05:24:16 PM
There is nothing wrong in Pakistan women batting today. They gave a decent target of 149 runs and the main reason for this decent target was 81 runs partnership between Bismah and Maroof. Pakistan bowling was not good enough to defend 149 runs, the bowlers keep giving runs and were not able to pick wickets. If you see India batting card then all 5 batsmen scored runs.
Big improvement from the Pakistan Women's team. Majority could've thought this to be an one sided match. Here both the teams performed equally and it was India to win the match. If Pakistan struggled with wicket loss, Maroof and Naseem gave good comeback and made the target score good. There is no big difference and we can't blame the bowlers, as Pakistan lost 4 wickets to score 149 runs and India lost 3 wickets to reach the target. If Pakistan continues to perform likewise upcoming matches will be very interesting.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 12, 2023, 04:58:59 PM
I think this is very correct, although I have not come across many bitcoiners except from close pals which I know very closely. They are always friendly and we usually share ideas with each concerning the crypto space.
So, I don't know how many bitcoiners you have the privilege to meet, I doubt what you have said is the case.
Most of the people limit within their circle. There are people who have fear in mind, as more scams are run in the name of bitcoin. People around might think bad of him when they don't have the proper understanding and knowledge about bitcoin. I personally never mind and once making P2P trade came to know the trader was from my locality and we had a meet-up to discuss. So, when we introduce ourselves with a person who have known well about bitcoin it is good.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency industry challenges and impact on Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2023, 04:46:52 PM
OP have raised the question and he have come up with the answer. He had identified few of the challenges, and these gets solved when one of the challenge is succeeded. When talking about environmental impact it is better to have comparison with other industries, because what is being mentioned as pollution from cryptocurrency mining is very minimal compared to that of the pollution from other industries. Once countries start regulating the usage automatically everything gets on track. It can be security, scalability, usage, etc.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible ? on: February 12, 2023, 11:37:24 AM
That's good idea to have bitcoin acceptance into the business. In the past people had little fear on accepting bitcoin into business for various reasons. Now things have changed with the existence of more support platforms that receive bitcoin and settle the business owner in terms of stable coins. The thread containing detailed list of transaction processor is shared. Maybe I'm wrong, I've seen most of the services using bitpay than other available services.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Act local and think global on: February 11, 2023, 10:26:59 PM
The adoption of a concept and system that has disrupted the accepted standard of currency was going to be a slow and arduous process. I think all things considered, we are ahead of where I expected to be when it came to awareness and adoption in 2023.
And people that are thinking that it's quite slow in progress should even be happy with it because, they're still early on adopting in.

The talks of adoption progress is actually fast but if it's quite slow in their eyes then so be it. But to look at what's happening in every side of the world, the adoption is continuous, whether it goes fast or slow.
In recent years the adoption of bitcoin have taken faster phase. Prior to that we had been experiencing slower adoption as the user count is low and had big opposition from the governments. Now things have changed alot and the same lets people use bitcoin and have more stores and services accepting bitcoin.
