1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 01, 2022, 04:38:22 PM
I just watched first 2 sets of this clay classic and it was extremely good tennis from both Nadal and Djoković. Some points were borderline impossible. I expected Djoković to do better after winning that 2nd set but obviously Nadal likes his king of clay mantle and doesn't plan on relinquishing it soon.

Djokovic started the match really bad and didnt look like himself at all since the beggining of the match. Later on he played really good but those missed set points on his serve in the fourth set costed him the win and to make the match longer. Now a rough match against Zverev for Nadal
It looks like Djokovic hasn't come to the form once after the covid-19 vaccine issue that kept him away from playing few tournament. The sets were won consecutively, and the same made the match more interesting. Finally Nadal was able to make it after hard fight. This year looks to be good for Nadal.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: May 30, 2022, 11:58:38 PM
It all depends how much bitcoin  El salvador is able to hold as the bitcoin in long run, as it has economic liabilities as well. Yes I do agree that early investments  by El  Salvador will bear fruits for it in future. But to become a rich nation they need more than just crypto investments, they need to focus on becoming productive in terms of investing technology and industrializing their nation
The Center for Citizen Studies of the Francisco Gavidia University in El Salvador have made a survey. Out of 1300 respondents interviewed it is possible to see more than 50% still getting stuck with USD. It is the President Bukele who have been taking more measures to make the country progressive through bitcoin adoption. For now we don't know the situation, but in the long run surely the country is gonna benefit. In my view the country people haven't got unified, based on the survey response. The positive growth can be experienced only when the whole population believe in it.

Most Salvadorans Still Prefer US Dollar over Bitcoin
1203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC or DCA other coins? on: May 30, 2022, 11:30:08 PM
I think it's a good habit that if you want to DCA in a bear market, it's best to collect BTC instead of alts that may nose dive even further compare to BTC. Time has tell that it was always the case, there might be some alts that was still up or doesn't lose much of its value but that's a rare stuff to see, most are getting lowered. Make your portfolio having the large asset in Bitcoin, recommended.
At the moment bitcoin is experiencing a small recovery and it is trading above 31k right now, it is still a very good price to enter the market or to employ the DCA strategy and reduce the price of the coins we are holding.

But we need to be careful as the price could go down at any moment, so for anyone that is thinking on investing right now they need to take this into consideration so in the case the price begins to go down again they do not get scared and sell their coins for an even lower price.
The price could fall, and if OP have invested back on the day he started the thread now he can book his Profit and go for a buyback with the DCA. During 24th May the price have marked a low of $29k, and now it is nearing $32k. The difference marks the profit and this is good during a bearish market. As the market is much dependent on the move of bitcoin, the altcoins too have begun to turn green. Ethereum have crossed $2000 which is to bump the price of majority of the altcoins.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: May 30, 2022, 11:03:11 PM
New projects will bring big profit when the market turns bullish. By the time we don't know the real market of the new projects. Everything needs to be done based on perfect research. Very few were able to do it based on the learning whereas majority just choose new projects on the random manner.

For me new projects are good, but the risk is high that majority goes without getting listed. Very few high demand projects make big and we don't get chances to invest on such projects. Good choice is to invest on proven altcoins. For example choose few coins that have survived the bear market of 2017-2018 and reached good market progress. Now those coins will be in the low bottom and the progress will happen when market turns bullish.
1205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: May 30, 2022, 10:53:09 PM
The market moves were much associated with the demand to supply and not like the traditional market that have got different parameters. Being speculative the market at times gets manipulated. In the past Whales used to manipulate the market with negative news creating panic among the users.

People are always emotional when it comes to money. In recent days influencers were able to make movements in the market. Slowly this has been changing and people have understood the real market. Nowadays the market isn't that reactive to panic waves as well as influencers like Elon Musk.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what countries have the best / most privacy fiendly bitcoin laws? on: May 30, 2022, 10:22:48 PM
No country allows you to have privacy free buying of bitcoin. Because, with most of the P2P buying we make the transaction with a card or through any of the payment medium which is connected to the bank account. It is the users self ability to make privacy free purchase of bitcoin. In my view it is possible to buy bitcoin through our forum in exchange for other altcoins, exchange for gift cards and so on. This can be found on our currency exchange section and there are people who are making use of it with the help of an escrow.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 30, 2022, 10:14:55 PM
BCCI had done something good after the IPL for the curators and groundsmen across 6 IPL venues. A sum of 1.25 crore as prize money have been announced for the unsung heroes of IPL. Without them it is impossible to have the grounds prepared before every match. This time Cadbury made a sponsor and this time BCCI announced the good prize money which gets the unsung heros small bonus.

1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 29, 2022, 06:27:51 PM
Rajasthan Royals missed the winning moment. Winning the toss itself a big chance for them, already in the qualifier match Rajasthan Royals have played against Gujarat Titans batting first. In that match Rajasthan Royals wasn't able to restrict Gujarat Titans within 188 runs, so this time Rajasthan Royals should have decided to bowl first. Anyhow the big league for the year 2022 have come to an end. In the very first season of IPL, a new franchise Gujarat Titans have won the trophy and had made history.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 29, 2022, 02:43:45 PM
^ Yeah, very interesting that L. Fernandez has gone in the 4th round already while a lot of ranked ladies are falling.

Nadal vs FAA, and Alcaraz vs Khachanov. Just put a parlay on this game, +7.5 on FAA and KK +8.5 for a good 3.17 odds. I'm thinking that this could be a 3 set victory for either Nadal or Alcaraz, but maybe it will be close that the final score can be somewhat covered by FAA and KK.
I think nadal will have no problem getting past aliassime but i expect the canadian to put a good resistance and maybe win a set against nadal but for khachanov i dont think he will be able to resist alcaraz on clay.
Auger Aliassime is giving hard fight against Nadal. There is consecutive scoring for the first three points of the set. Right now Aliassime leads the first set scoring the fourth point and the set turns 3-1, but the odds for Nadal is low stating he has the increased winning probability. Aliassime have won the last two matches in direct sets, and in this match the experience might gain importance.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the right time to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: May 29, 2022, 01:28:38 PM
Over the last few weeks entire market have collapsed reaching the bottom around $28000. Based on several predictions, the price could fall even lower. Altcoin investments were high risk involved against the investment over bitcoin. Altcoins on the top order is quite good to invest, however when we make an investment on the bear market we should have the patience to get rewarded with profit.

Right now the market is in the bottom and very few altcoins are in good shape whereas majority have reached the down bottom value. For users who have the ability to risk can invest on low cap altcoins, because in future if the price reaches the previous ath it'll bring big profit.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 29, 2022, 12:43:22 PM
There is a big difference between favouritism and quota. A quota basically means a fixed seats for individuals belonging to a particular race or ethnicity. I am not sure about other south Asian countries but in India we do not have such kind of quota in cricket. Favouritism is present in India but it doesn't mean the whole team is selected based on it. Another important aspect of Indian cricket is that nepotism also doesn't work here.

Agreed. Favoritism and nepotism are there in cricket (although not as much as it used to be there in the old times), but these are individual-based preferences and doesn't favor any particular religion or ethnic group. As we have seen, nepotism alone can't guarantee the survival of players. Kohli tried to stuff the national team with RCB players such as Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj. But in the end, these players couldn't cement their positions in the national side and Kohli himself lost the captaincy.

Yes, that is true. The difference between the quota system and nepotism/favoritism is that the quota system is actually directly affecting the selection of a cricket team for a long time. Like the players are going to be there even though there are other players who are the best fit for the job.

But in Favoritism, a player might get chances of playing but if they don't play well they will eventually be dropped.

So, eventually in my opinion the quota system causes a lot more harm instead of nepotism/favoritism. But I believe both are detrimental to the future of cricket.
Cricket is a game of talent and skills when you implement quota you destroy the basic requirement of the game. I do not think quota should be imposed in sports as such. If you want to provide quota then give financial and coaching assistance to those new talents that are economically backward. You can implement quota at that level but not for selection.
Quota will never workout with cricket, because this will also lead to improper judgement. Will the right person from the specific quota will be selected, no there corruption will play a role. Even now somehow things are getting on track amidst corruption and different forms of favouritism, nepotism, selection process. To keep things perfect everything needs to be transparent, but the same isn't possible.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 29, 2022, 11:29:56 AM
Rashid Khan's overs in the final may cause much damage to the Rajasthan Royals. As a player, Rashid played very effectively at each game, and he is capable of creating buzz among the players. Rashid Khan will cause Rajasthan a headache tonight, or will they be able to overcome him? Taking early wickets will allow Rashid Khan to surround them with problems. Despite new arrival, Titans are a compact team this season. Therefore, I think they also have a chance of lifting up the trophy.
There are a few things that could work in favor of Gujarat Titans. First of all, they have the home advantage. And secondly, they have a better team balance when compared to the Rajasthan Royals. RR is overdependent on a few players such as Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson, however that is not the case with Gujarat. Most of their batsmen, including Miller, Tewatia, Saha, Gill, Wade and Pandya have performed well this season. Even Rashid has scored crucial runs for the Gujarat Titans. And as far as bowling is concerned, the combination of Lockie Ferguson and Mohammed Shami worked well for them so far.

Considering the performance of these two teams, the Gujarat team seems to be the favorite. Because their performance is quite stable. Rajasthan's bowling lineup is a bit weak. However, the bowlers' performance against Bangalore was good. But Rajasthan has some experienced batsmen. Butler, Samson, Padikkal, Jaiswal and Hetmyre are all very experienced in the T20 format. But they can't perform well on a regular basis. If the top order of Rajasthan can perform well, then it is hard for Gujrat to win this match.
Both teams take lead in some parameters, and in today's match the toss will play a big role. Unlike the previous matches the playoff matches were scheduled to start little late. This is in connection to the dew factor, which means there shouldn't be any supportive pitch situation based on the dew factor. Rajasthan Royals have reached the final after its first win of 2008 season. This has created big expectation over Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans on the other side is very positive to make its first trophy in its very first season.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: May 29, 2022, 10:44:11 AM
History of the previous transactions weren't required when you're involved with P2P transaction. There is very minimal chance of such issues. If you're an unlucky person to face such a problem you've got the perfect data in your hands. Show the transaction involved, so that it'll redirect to the person from whom you've made the purchase. If you're that feared, then find a mixing service once after buying.

If the transaction is connected with any of the exchange hacked fund, then there is chances for freezing of funds.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: May 28, 2022, 11:59:31 PM
New projects brings lot of profit, but to get into the investment opportunities is very narrow. I've tried more number of new projects entering the market. During the pre-sale there used to be queue and the lucky one gets in, because millions participate and a few thousand gets the opportunity. Within a few days of listing most of the good projects gives you atleast 2x return. One of the project that I tried gave 100x return on the first day of listing, further dropped down.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: May 28, 2022, 11:58:26 PM
Everywhere there is risk and to the risk we take there is chances of profit as well as loss. This is common, and in recent days the emergence of lots of altcoins have made it a hard task for people to choose the right altcoin for investment. Among the altcoins we've got trusted ones same as that we've got bitcoin. For risk free altcoin investment, it is good to go upon those altcoins than preferring high risk altcoins for increased profit.
1216  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 27, 2022, 11:58:06 PM
Seems they decided to give out the remaining amount they didn't send out because the stream ended early. Ran out of steam after awhile.
Check to see how much you got cause it depends on your rank from the looks of the comments shown so far:
https://twitter.com/Stake/status/1530018700517965824

From $8mln to start with ran it up to a bit over $19mln in less than 25 minutes in was pretty good.
But like he said: "This was nothing to me to lose!" "Stake won this time but will get them next time!" Cheesy

Platinum III received 0.00276btc from what I seen of the above giveaway.
Not to shabby for watching a 2 hour stream.

Thanks for sharing the twitter link managed to claim $50 luckily I'm not too late  Smiley when I share it with my friends it's already been claimed
I just found out that there was a bonus that was sent to twitter but not included in telegram usually almost all bonuses must be via telegram
a few hours earlier there was a $10 bonus on telegram but this is a different bonus.
Yes, there was a $10 bonus claim before the stream and number of claims were very limited. Just 2000 claims were allowed. I missed it by few minutes, because I was eligible that I've wagered $2000 in the last week. Maybe the coming weekend bonus gets added with a small bonus as we didn't had much of bonus drops on the telegram. Just a single bonus drop for the Drake Stream.
1217  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is doing well in Thailand...or is it? on: May 27, 2022, 11:29:17 PM

The government's goal is to promote cryptocurrency trade on authorized exchanges (approved and regulated by SEC).

This is very good. I think this is about providing security to the people and not to stop them. The youth will have more benefit in this because they have more years to stay around and can invest to hodl more cryptocurrency investment. They scare of scam exchanges will be reduced because the government making sure to secure exchanges in their country.
Governments allowing specific exchanges to perform the trading of cryptocurrencies limit the usage. The reason for which the government have taken the decision is really appreciable and a forward thinking compared to the countries that make a direct ban of cryptocurrencies. Slowly the country needs to provide way to spending, through which the real usage of crypto can be understood. What Thailand government have done, given the access similar to digital gold.
1218  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your fill the bag Bitcoin price? on: May 27, 2022, 10:33:44 PM
People will keep on thinking about the market dip and will never get into the market even if the price reaches the targeted bottom. This is the mentality of the people when the market is bearish. In these kind of situation Whales take role and accumulate more. Common users never go for big risks and they prefer buying when the market is on the bullish move. This means users look for the profit immediately rather than holding for some time period when market is bearish.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 27, 2022, 09:42:23 PM

Laszlo Hanyecz very much made into the Bitcoin history book as one of the first to prove that BTC can be used like an ordinary money. Now, had I been in his place i would not just buy pizza but also some coffee and maybe eve donuts with my BTC mined. We have many things to thank this man for taking the risks and for finding that pizza patrol for the transaction. And that is why we have an annual Bitcoin Pizza Day to honor the event, honor the man and honor Bitcoin. I am wondering what kind of pizzas were bought back then...
In the history of bitcoin we don't know the identity of Satoshi. Atleast we've seen the person who have given value to the marvelous innovation. He mentioned it was two large pizzas. I would like to remind people not to donate anyone requesting in the name of Laszlo Hanyecz. Came across a Twitter account requesting donation.
We aren't that dumb to fall for this begging scam attempt which is clearly that he's not Laszlo even though he had make use of that 10k coins but for sure he was proud off considering that this was a historical event that happened into this crypto space which it had been recognized by this community and for sure that is something that he would be proud of but it can't really be denied in speaking into those coins if ever he do able to hold it up until now which hey made out himself to be financially free.
The guy himself is proud of spending the big number of buying pizza. That itself a big message and he had made history. Rather than financially free, he might've turned it to more other millions through investment on different firms. Anyhow what he have done will surely repay him in some means. For now he have got fame and he doesn't look like financially good. Possibly something will make him financial free.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 27, 2022, 09:34:41 PM
I look forward to watching today's match between Rajasthan and Bangalore. In the first match against Rajasthan this season, Bangalore easily won by batting for 170 runs. But in the second match, Bangalore lost all their wickets for just 115 runs after batting for only 145 runs given by Rajasthan.
However, Bangalore is now a very stable team. The players are consistently playing well. Bangalore also played very well against Gujarat in the last match. So my favorite in today's match is Bangalore
RCB set a low target today and lost the match. Kohli has failed again today with his batting performance. Rajasthan has easily won the match by 7 wickets. Jos Buttler got his 4th hundred today in this IPL season. He also got 4 fifties in this IPL season. Rajasthan will play the final match against Gujarat Titans. Gujarat has a very strong squad, but I'm expecting to see Rajasthan as a winner of this round. They have pretty well balanced team.
Along with its bad luck it was the low score that ended up losing against Rajasthan Royals. The team that was able to score 200+ runs against LSG wasn't able to score the required run. Losing the toss, the performance of Jos Butler throughout the ongoing season and the lack of bowling from RCB. Rajasthan won the first season of IPL and probably will collect the trophy this time.
