261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 14, 2020, 04:12:14 PM
No one knows what will happen to altcoins this year, maybe some of them will leave crypto world. The only hope of altcoins is a bull run, a bull run that will give new hope to those hopeless and profit to those hodlers. If bitcoin touches 20k again no need to worry cause altcoin season will start immediately.
The market is improving a lot as of today and the entire alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin and it is a good time for all the alt coin investors but that does not mean that the bull run started, it will take a much longer time than this to see a real bull run in the market, we are months away from bitcoin halving and only after that we will see a huge rally.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran/US tension's effect on crypto and economy ? on: January 13, 2020, 05:25:17 PM
More people are running away from fiat to cryptocurrencies, one they there will no one left in fiat world, just politicians and banks, together with some governments

Well, as much as I would love that to be true myself, it is still mostly wishful thinking
I do agree with the point as it is hard to image people jumping on to invest in bitcoin think that their currency is going to crash.

People desperately need fiat to pay for their daily expenses, and taking into account that the vast majority of the world population live paycheck to paycheck (and many of them on credit at that), they are not interested in cryptocurrencies. This is simply the way things are, whether you, me, or whoever else likes it or not
People who are investing in banks can shift their savings in bitcoin if they are smart enough to do so because some countries are worse when it comes to inflation and investing in bitcoin could save their funds in the long term.

We don't even know how much of the recent spike in Bitcoin's price is actually due to the showdown between Iran and America because cryptocurrencies as whole play a very small role in the global affairs, and thus are pretty insignificant in the larger picture to reach any definitive conclusion on the matter
The market could have increased even if there was no tension between Iran and America as the market is close to the halving and it is time that we see some recover.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: January 13, 2020, 03:26:57 PM
The unification fight between Loma and Lopes is sure to take place, they are just finalizing the date and the venue.
Loma will once again be tested with this young and taller Lopez.
What ever venue it will be or any opponent i am always going with Vasyl Lomachenko to win the fight as he is out of this world and i do not see any fighter even catching him with a power punch, he is way too advanced than the rest of the fighters and his movements are just crazy high level. The two fighters who are coached by their dad are the best fighters in the world right now, Vasyl Lomachenko is trained by his dad and Khabib Nurmagomedov who is fighting in MMA are probably the toughest and the best fighters of this generation.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 12, 2020, 05:59:09 PM
Ball possession 56% for Bournemouth and Watford 44%. Watford for a while take a lead, It could be interesting since Bournemouth were home. Sportsbet helped introduce bitcoin to the world of football through the idea of sponsoring Watford  Cheesy
Watford is on another league in the past few weeks and they are now able to score goals and win the match, i did not expect a 3 goals to nil dominance but i was expecting Watford to win the match and was rooting for them simply because they are having a bitcoin symbol in their jersey and now they are able to win, it is awesome and personally feel really happy and thanks to sportsbet for making it happen.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 12, 2020, 05:39:45 PM
The entire discussion revolves around Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone
The reason is because Conor McGregor is still a super star and he is able to sell tickets and makes things interesting for the fans  Tongue
Holly Holm is at her end of her career and if she looses this fight then i think she will retire and then comes to Anthony Pettis which is coming back to Lightweight and it is a big question how he is going to perform and the entire card revolves around McGregor and even though Donald Cerrone is coming into this fight after a two fight loosing streak everyone wants to see him return because of the entertainment factor.
266  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: January 12, 2020, 05:16:44 PM
Why not ? Don't be disappointed if you are winning less in a month or so. Golden ticket for a Lambo is a life time opportunity and everyone should try their luck. You never know when you become lucky and won a Lambo which can change your life. I can only suggest that do not miss this life changing chance.
To be optimistic is really great, but what happens if you win the grand prize and if you are living in a different country, the import tax will be huge that you are not able to collect the prize and the amount of money you need to maintain the car is off the charts for a common man Wink. I am also waiting to see who is going to win the grand prize.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: January 12, 2020, 03:40:22 PM
Great time for Watford to score. I have a shitload of money on them today. I have played Watford x2 @1,6 for high stakes, Watford 2 @2,9 for medium stakes, Watford to win both halves @9,5 for beer money, Watford to win halftime/full time @4,5 for low stakes. And add to that that I have Sarr & Foster in my Fantasy team and you get probably the biggest Watford supporter in Croatia at the moment Smiley
I am truly really happy to see the turnaround in the season after having going through many changes and finally we are seeing a winning combination after drawing many matches, i was expecting Watford to win but i went under 3.5 goals rather than taking a risk like you but i like the confidence in putting money on winning halftime/full time and winning both halves and only a few minutes left and i hope Bournemouth will not score in this match.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of LTC peak again in 2020? on: January 11, 2020, 05:58:50 PM
Not only the Litecoin is facing the problem of sluggishness but all other cryptos are in the same way. If the whole market grow again particularly the Bitcoin surge is important then the other coins will move forward again.
The entire altcoin market is suffering for a long time and it will recover when we see a huge rally in bitcoin and if you dream about a rally like we saw in 2017 then the alt coin market usually rises after the bitcoin rally and i am also expecting the same this time around and i am holding some coins and i am waiting to sell everything and focus on one coin for the next four years  Wink.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin on: January 11, 2020, 05:37:19 PM
Since you are talking about here are my interpretation about the things you said

- Use Bitcoin in a matter of seconds instead fiat transactional delays for example.
Have you heard about Netbanking .

- Store safe goods since the banks could go bankrupt and you lose your money.
Nationalized baking where your currency will be insured if you are living in a good country

- You dont need to take your fiat bills with you since it's all virtually portable.
It is possible with fiat and i highly doubt whether there is a solution that all the bills can be payed with bitcoin, which bills are you paying with bitcoin and kindly share me that knowledge about a site that is making it possible.

Despite telling all this the biggest advantage of crypto is to have full control over your asset and not to depend on a third party and that  is the biggest benefit.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much should i trust crypto Youtuber? on: January 11, 2020, 04:05:39 PM
I sometimes listen to famous crypto youtubers.
But for the most of time, they were not accurate.
Even you can create your own channel and be famous but that does not mean that the people behind those prediction are doing this because they really know how the market will move, actually no one does.

Btw, how many of you guys participating in airdrop event?
Most of airdrop cryptos that i earned kinda become worthless.
You said the fact about the situation of airdrops, it is worthless shit and you can be the bag holder of those failed projects and many are using the information you are providing while signing up for the airdrop to sell those information, so be careful when you are sending sensitive information.

Then, I guess it is better to earn exchange token, which at least can be used. Right?
You really do not need a thousand tokens and coins in the market, earn it is your choice but never spend money on all the shitty projects.

You have many concern. I think it is better if you to have a one topic on every post to have more clear answer.
Why to create new threads for the doubts he is having, it is better to sort everything in one go rather than polluting the forum.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GOLD Storage, the best bounty stablecoin until now on: January 11, 2020, 03:47:53 PM
GOLD is a project where Each GOLD token is 100% backed by physical gold stored in secure vault.
Gold is an ERC20 token based on the ethereum platform.
1 GOLD token = 1 gram of gold 99.99 purity.
I am seeing the advertisement for sometime in this forum, but your heading is a bit confusing, are you saying that it is the best bounty right now or is it the best project because it is backed by gold, i have no idea about the legitimacy of the project or where they are storing these gold or gold bonds and i wonder how many gold they will be holding right now considering the price of gold is moving higher. Is it going to be a stable currency, would like to hear your take on the project.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iran again want to make some dirty things on: January 11, 2020, 02:59:41 PM
today I read the news that Iran has warned about "more serious revenge" against the United States. such statements are not some kind of joke and what exactly they can do?  Huh I believe that 2020 began very poorly if you look at it from a political point of view.
If the disagreements between the US and Iran will continue, this could end badly. How will this news affect the market? can they start to sharply raise bitcoin at the price? if bitcoin will grow fast, then altcoins will be even worse  Angry
The situation was escalated simply because it is election year in the US and the president might have thought of having a popular opinion to get reelected and that back fired because they just escalated the situation and they thought the global media and countries will support them and since they did not get that kind of back up they stepped back and deescalated the situation.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 10, 2020, 05:57:23 PM
When a natural disaster strikes (such as an earthquake or a hurricane) you'll need to protect your most valuable assets. While most people preserve physical cash for events like these, crypto proves to be a better solution (as it's intangible). The most common form of securing one's crypto funds is a paper wallet. However, this method is not resistant against dust, water, or even fire. Even hardware wallets are susceptible to harsh environmental conditions over time.

I know there's something called "CryptoSteel" which is a seed wallet that's fireproof, waterproof, and even shockproof. The only downside is the price which is quite expensive. Which is why, I'm looking for the best way to protect my crypto against a natural disaster that won't break the bank.
Have you considered saving everything in hardware wallet and then depositing in safe deposit boxes in multiple location if you are living in a fragile area which is susceptible to natural disasters around the year and it is the cheapest way than trying for other methods.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 10, 2020, 05:18:30 PM
Not sure about all altcoins but I'm not sticking my eyes on Low cap altcoins like RYO and others because they are undervalued and not have don't any ATH. So, the chances of price rise are better on small-cap coins.
It is not a bad idea to stick to low cap coins and if it is a good coin and if you are able to invest in a good coin then you can make a huge profit but the problem is that is there any coin that can give you a good profit, it is better to invest in doge coin than any other coin the market rather than risking in any experimental project.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: January 10, 2020, 03:26:28 PM
The alts I'm holding are going quiet well these past few days. Some prices has started to rise up to 25% and I'm hoping value will continue to recover slowly. I've been holding some alts for over a year now and I'm hoping I can sell then at reasonable prices.
Since you had the patience to hold the coin for this long i really hope that you will be able to wait for a couple of years so that the expected alt coins rally will come and everyone will have the opportunity to sell off their coins at a profit and everyone who is in the market for the past few years will be holding a decent amount of coins in their wallet and i hope it will happen in the top coins in the wallet.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of LTC peak again in 2020? on: January 10, 2020, 02:37:28 PM
I do not think that the event OP stated is enough to make LTC peak again in 2020.  Many investors lost their trust on that coin after the developer himself dump almost all his LTC holdings when crypto market is on its peak.  The founder may have his reason but a dump is a dump that crashes LTC price.
This is a true statement that the developer himself dump all of his coins and then publicly stated about it which is not a great way to instill trust to the investors and if you look carefully that is the case with all of the coins in the market, the developers dump the coins in the market when ever the price rallies, apart from bitcoin the rest of the developers are here in this market to make money and that is a fact and even ETH developers dumped millions of dollars worth in the market.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 10, 2020, 01:59:06 PM
~
they lost and I got a little bit of a loss in this game, so far I can't believe they lost the game of very pathetic way. Honestly in this game barcelona played very poorly, the defense was very bad and missed many goals.
Considering they played in a neutral ground i was skeptical whether we will see the same sort of result as previously when they faced we never used to see many goals and this game changed everything and it was a goal fest and they both played poorly.

278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 09, 2020, 05:32:09 PM
I'm not so sure about this. Better bet in my opinion is Under 2.5 goals. There has been two draws between this two teams in last 5 games, but all 5 were under 2.5 goals.
Odd is similar for Barca to win and U2.5.
This is the bet i am going for as i am not expecting many goals in the match considering the past few matches against them and the difference in this match is that none of the team is having home team advantage which is crucial considering the way you bet as the match is taking place in Saudi Arabia.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 09, 2020, 04:58:24 PM
A cowboy will strangle a lepricon. He won 17 out of 36 fights by submission, and Conor is very bad on the ground
You cannot underestimate Conor just like that with a defeat against Khabib as no one expected him to win if he is not able to stuff the take down but the rest of the opponents were not able to take him down or wisely he avoided most of the wrestling based fighters and he had a dream run until he came against Nate Diaz and even in that fight Nate did not take him down, Conor tried to take him down because he was exhausted and in the next fight he made sure the fight did not goes to the ground and after a long gap he was fighting Khabib and Cerrone is not known to take down fighters down either unless they takes the initiative and i am sure Conor will be aware of the ground threat when he fights.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 09, 2020, 03:25:17 PM
Indeed mate, there are now many gambling apps but the problem is the pop up advertisement, it is annoying and I cannot focus. I gambling in my smartphone but the thing is I do not use anymore gambling apps. I often use web surfaces in order for me to gamble, it is better to just visit the gambling site than to down a gambling app. The interface is more good so I prefer to just visit the website than to download an application.
I am not sure what apps you are talking about, you might be risking your money with fakes apps, the legit sites that gives out the option to wage a bet using their app does not show any third party advertisement, even sportsbet have an app right now and i am not a total fan of using app to wage a bet but i still use if i am traveling and so does legit sites like bet365 and you cannot see a third party advertisement which is irritating in those apps.
