261  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: October 09, 2015, 06:31:50 AM
I will probably sell 2 or 3 when it hits 1 million dollars per coin  Grin Tongue

If it gets to $1 mill per coin, then that in itself means that the dollar would probably have little to no value at all.  Why would you want to sell out? There would be no point...

I would never sell out all my Bitcoins , even at $1 million per coin, just a few so I can call myself a millionaire  Grin Tongue Grin

You will not be a bitcoin millionaire.

This coin has never been hyped.

CZ is still paid for developing BBR. Is he actually developing?
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: October 06, 2015, 07:58:39 PM
i must thanks to bitcoin cuz it make porn subscribing as a simple payment for meh  Smiley

Besides using it for porn, bitcoin can be used for donation to numerous charity organisations. Try it and trust me that the experience will be more enjoyable.

+1, unfortunately most of the people still think btc as an easy way to "break the law" scam others and steal and so on...

When bitcoin is used more, the proportion of scam will be smaller.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: October 06, 2015, 12:45:04 PM
More or less during past few months it's stable, no big ups or downs. I think the situation will be the same in the near future

Maybe a little up after the launch of Gemini but I don't except a serious pump directly.

It depends on the size of Gemini.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sgminer 5.1.1 Quark problems on: October 06, 2015, 09:31:45 AM
but why would u mine quark with AMD rig ?
Well, ETH is not that hot anymore.
Too many mining it and price is going down.

Right now i make more daily profit on quark with my AMD/Nvidia rigs combined.

When mining ETH i have around 170Mhs and it gives me around 10 ETH daily. Thats like 0.028BTC.
When mining Quark i have 134Mhs and it gives me around 0.045BTC daily mining at Nicehash.

Longterm ETH is probably the winner but right now i need some daily profits to keep my mining going.

What is the combination of your cards?

I have 8 GPUs (underclocked 4X7990), doing 150Mh on ETH, and 80Mh on Quark.

268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: October 06, 2015, 07:27:20 AM
Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon?

Simple answer:  No.

They are different coins for different purposes.
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: October 06, 2015, 07:05:11 AM
Bit coin price is hard to predict as in the past it has fallen from that high 1000$ price to near 200$. I am storing bit coin everyday as I have heard that in July 2016 the reward per block mined will be halved which I believe will make price atleast double the present value.

Halving does not necessary lead to price double, as the newly issued coins are already small relative to existing coins. wide adoption will increase the value of bitcoin.
270  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: October 06, 2015, 07:02:28 AM
I would sell all my (future) Bitcoins if the bitcoin price goes up to $1 Million

You might not live long enough to sell at that price. Grin
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: October 02, 2015, 09:10:06 PM

Yes next halving is within a year. So, waiting for price down is meaningless. We must buy now itself. Because we can buy bitcoin again if prices again go down. So do not miss the chance to buy at current levels.

Halving does not necessarily lead to price going up. Litecoin is an example.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: October 02, 2015, 09:07:33 PM
never use bitcoin, since litecoin arrived.

However, litecoin is less used in general.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 22, 2015, 09:09:38 AM
I think the most convincing example of fungability necessity for me was when some bitcoin exchange did not accept bitcoins from someone, because allegedly those bitcoins was connected to some dark market activity.

It's not like money should be fungible for criminal operations, but its a good example when some bitcoins != usual bitcoins. This is impossible with monero.

But those coins can go to mixer and come out a different ones.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto PLEASE resolve this debate? 1MB blockstream vs 8MB Gavin Blocks on: September 22, 2015, 09:07:10 AM
Bitcoin is a community software. It's not possible that a single person take decisions.

That's right.
275  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 22, 2015, 08:51:28 AM

While bitcoin and porn seems like a good mix, free porn is so plentiful that I think that I have never met a person that actually paid for porn (with fiat or bitcoin)

The quality of free porn is not good. Cool

276  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: September 22, 2015, 08:49:31 AM
those people who said bitcoin is dead are the same peoples who hate bitcoin and its success, they missed the bitcoin era and now spreading fud like this, but they know that its not correct bitcoin is not dead but it gonaa shine more and more in future

Even now, we are early adopters of bitcoin.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: September 20, 2015, 07:54:41 AM
May be because BTC is something new and not all people have enough knowledge to understand global BTC market  Wink

Or maybe price is not rising all  the time.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent Creator Weighs in on Bitcoin-XT on: September 13, 2015, 07:24:40 AM
If the miners want it, it will happen regardless of who else weighs in.

Yes. Miner determines the fate of the coin.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto PLEASE resolve this debate? 1MB blockstream vs 8MB Gavin Blocks on: September 12, 2015, 09:28:12 AM
We don't need satoshi to come back as the great leader of Bitcoin because otherwise this would start looking like a cult. I think both solutions suck but if I have to choose I prefer the Core approach rather than the Gavincoin one since it would centralize the nodes, while the blockstream approach doesn't.

We do not need a great leader. We have to increase the block size to facillitate transactions.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: X11 X13 X15 with 50% more hashrate 7Mh/s on 280x or 10 Mh/s on 290x on: September 12, 2015, 09:23:22 AM
