it's really sad, Imagine the people rushing to get supplies after, starving for days if not weeks, and then ending up in such accident, but to be honest this is an accident, and people should be punished for their mistake so we don't see this scenario repeated

"Sorry but we can't comment on a on going investigation..."

Wow I did really miss that part in my first quick read, No investigation render this ridiculous

this is not the work of isolated radicals as the left would have us to  believe. This is an army! This is Islam in action, and they are the new Nazis, only worse. Like the Nazis, they mean to dominate the world, and also like the Nazis, they mean to kill every Jew on Earth, But unlike the Nazis, they also mean to either convert all other religions to Nazism or kill them.

There is going to be a World War Three, and we may be witnessing the beginning.

If Muslim wanted to kill Jews they would have done so centuries before when they were the strongest, but in fact they did the opposite, Jews were well threated in Muslim countries, heck when Islam was tossed out of what's we know now as Spain, Jews followed muslims to north African countries because they feared for them selfs.

There are around 2 Billions Muslims in the world if Islam was as you describe Nazism, things would have went bad a long while ago,  so no not only you are wrong but comparing Muslims with Nazis is quite ridiculous, ISIS members are murderous, psychopaths and need to be stoped and punished for the crimes, but from there to generalize like that it is a thread of ignorance, As if you say Christian Nazi, PKK, or some Israeli Jew did massacres, we should treat Christianity and Judaism (and here) Islam as Nazism

This is all just another example of how Religion ruins everything.
A bunch of people in the desert fighting over who can hear the magic voice in their ear clearer than the next guy.

So ridiculous, on so many levels.
Can you explain how is this a religion fault? you have some psychopaths using religion to justify their crimes as any other criminal did does in history, finding an excuse for their crimes.

Moderate Muslims have to stand up to ISIS or ISIS may even destroy the Kaaba. Does Maliki use Twitter? Maybe The Regime can start a new hashtag and that will get him to step down .I bet that will work. You could get a job in the admin for that one.

Due geopolitical reasons outside intervention from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrein, Kuweit ect is not possible or at least directly due to previous conflicts with Iraq, and more importantly due Iran influence in current Iraq. Also the US will not let such a thing happen, the only way for other countries to intervene and they asked for it in current case of Libya which is turning to be a second Iraq is trough UN and UN keeping force

ISIS is terrible. They have a habit of beheading people and literally crucifying Christians.Good thing we are spending millions of dollars to bomb millions in tanks and apcs that we paid for.
The senior staff in all the companies of the defense industry must be walking around with giant raging erections. Its the ideal scenario for them.

Not yet, they are probably busy on the phone pushing and lobbying for a larger military operation so they can sell more arms, not only that but sell more to Iraqi goverment and all the proximity countries
266  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama's 'junior varsity' ISIS is beheading children on: August 11, 2014, 03:55:21 PM
I don't think people understand the situation.. These are not wild animals they are people...  Dispite what the media tells you "terrorits" are human beings.  The "terrorits" keep growing every time we attack them.. why does this happen?  Well when someone comes and bombs you're house killing everyone but you and your 12... guess what you just decided to join..
Fighting a "war on terror" will only bring more death to everyone.  Humans are humans annihilate their family and expect them to be in a serious rage.

There is nothing human about this. Humans are being SOLD and children are being murdered by these animals. There is no justification for that.

I think you've missed his point, what he is saying is trying to kill them all wouldn't solve the problem and in fact will create more fanatics and psychopath like these, as you are bound to hurt innocents aswell and those innocent people becomes an easy prey and recruit, the thing is, there need to be a real strategy to deal with this problem, the short strategy is limited intervention to stop the massacre and push ISIS back, in medium term you need to strengthens the local authorities, but problems will always remain when you have a government that is prosecuting a part of the population, this need to be fixed , and in the long term is to be to built solid institutions and have a strong educational plan, including programs for religion tolerances.
267  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Become Muslims by noon today... or we kill all of you' on: August 11, 2014, 03:46:40 PM
Yes we all know ISIS is a cancer, even for muslims. This situation is no less true for those people though.

Indeed, but my is that almost no one was paying attention to ISIS when they were slaughtering Muslims in the thousands (and other minorities), but once Christians came in the line it became a head line article, and I believe human lifes should be threated equally and this just show how our western media and politics are biased....

Just what we needed, an Iraqi Taliban. Saddam was a horrible person that did horrific things but he was better than this group.

This is worst than Taliban as this group are way more brutal, When Al Qaeda them selfs says these guys are crazy then you know something is wrong.
For me the question would is how to fix things, and air strikes definitely not the solution in the long terms and can possibly have the opposite effect.

Air strikes are necessary as a short term solution to stop the massacre made by ISIS, but a long term plan should involve Iraqis authorities (and neighboring countries) that should be strengthened and current authorities are bad as they prosecute a part of the population which one reason reason why ISIS is expanding.

Education and promoting tolerant Islam in Mosques for example, and doing the same for other religions and minorities as tolerance is the key here, but this one will be hard, as Iranians and Saudi Arabia among others Geopolitical reasons collides

Helping Iraq rebuilding it institutions once their political system is balanced.

Just signed up.  Please double check I have correct sig as there is some confusion in posts.

Also I did the enroll through the form.  I entered all information and then the second page was for claim payment, which I just left blank and hit submit.  I assume that was correct but please tell me if it wasn't.

I just switched over from lunamine which has stiffed us for the last sig payment.  Enrolling here with 668 posts and hoping to get at least 50 before the 17th.  Thanks.

I think you'll need to wait for the updated list for the confirmation, as there are many people that enroll and doing individual confirmation would be hard, but so far the system is working properly which means if you have filled the form properly you should be enrolled and you'll be added in the list once it's updated, check out it out later

hmm wrong section? This deserve to be on the off topic section, but the point is clear even if the way it's presented is quite satiric, as for bitcoin being an NSA plot, it is unlikely but not impossible
I agree this should be in the off topic section. However with that being said it is very comical for people to actually believe that BTC was created by any government agency. They would have absolutely no use for it.
Under the supposition it is an NSA plot (and as i say before it's unlikely to be the case) I think there are several reasons for the NSA to implement such a things, such as social experiment, testing the protocol and using a version that would allow cracking AES codes ...ect ect but as long as there are no proof or links to NSA so far, I tend to agree with everyone and OP that it is just a baseless theory and a conspiracy one at that

what simply happened to Obama is just what happens to the any naïfs politician that thinks that he has the power of decision, well reality is the US is rulled by strong lobbies, being it economical ones, such as the energy sector and among them Oil of course, or defense and weapon cartels that wants to sell more weapon, and political foreign lobbies, such AIPAC which by far has the US helf by the balls, or Saudi Arabia for example

as a wise man pointed out to me recently however... its Obama's second term.. he cant run for president again.. so he should just man up and play hard ball where it counts.
the world wont remember the little president that could... the world is only going to remember the great president that did stand up for what he personally believed in.
Obama care was a great idea but it may yet get torn down.... a real and lasting peace agreement somewhere... now that would be worthy of a nobel peace prize.

I agree with this and I thought about this for a while, but it doesn't matter really as any decision he'll make would be blocked anyway, not only that but he needs to take into consideration his carrier after his presidency, I guess it's hard to go counter the flow of things, and the only president to do in our dear west in recent years is probably Jacques Chirac, which wasn't a tool that flow anything he was told.
272  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Become Muslims by noon today... or we kill all of you' on: August 11, 2014, 02:37:01 PM
I believe the title is not precise enough, ISIS will kill anyone that doesn't follow them muslim or not, You'll find dozens of videos of Muslims getting beheaded or shot to death just because they don't want to follow ISIS and doesn't recognize their so called Qalifat (which is a middle age thing), this is getting beyond being psycho, I don't know what references are they even following to justify their crimes ....
273  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. Aircraft Strike ISIS Targets in Iraq on: August 11, 2014, 01:55:56 PM
Unsurprising, US military direct involvement was just a matter of time after the Iraqi Army turned tail and ran from a numerically inferior ISIS force. And given that we had a pretty large part in creating this mess, I can't say I take much issue with it vs. other military campaigns.

wise words...

although the people do not want to go back to Iraq.. this was a mess created by western governments and so we should clean it up.
I personally was deeply ashamed when my country went to war just because my prime minister had his head so firmly wedged up George w. bushes ass.

Saddam was a threat to the region but very little threat to the world... ISIS is much more of a threat both to the region and to the entire world.

Obama was warned that ISIS is very dangerous, but the smartest man in the world just blew it off by calling them 'JV". Obama has made lots of blunders, but this is one that's going to get lots of people killed. I used to think that I didn't want Obama to step down because that meant we'd have Joe Biden the idiot in charge, but now I think Biden might actually be better.

I absolutely detest the people who gave the US; George bush, liberal gun laws and the Tea party. but in all honesty... you guys would probably be safer with someone like John McCain running the place in a time of crisis at least he would stick to his convictions and make tough decisions.  Obama on the other hand .. you don't know what he's going to do next... I know it must be tough trying to get things done when congress is blocking everything.. but he seems to just change direction every-time he thinks he is going to make a political enemy.

oh no I wont get tough on Isreal they are going to get angry at me.. oh no I cant support the revolution in Libya, Syria and Egypt then more Muslims might get angry... oh no I better not close down gwantanamo more angry people might be let loose. better not deploy US troops all those soldiers angry mothers are going come at me....

when he first came in to office I had high hopes for Obama and the world, but I'm really starting to wonder what happened to "Yes we can"

I don't know really but this article shows a an SA-11/BUK M1 being transported by separatist, but so far and like I said before no definitive proof for either case scenarios was presented that's why I believe that both of them are possible
275  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is getting ready to bomb the USA :( on: August 11, 2014, 01:42:14 PM

Yup, claiming that he invented hamburgers is a pretty rational thing. Their country is powered by brainwashing, btw.
There is no reference to him claiming so, and here is the article from where that information came with the correct wording http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2611998/Bizarre-lifestyle-North-Korean-women-convinced-burgers-local-treat-Lady-Gaga-MAN.html

I think what happened there is that as usual with every propaganda and telling half truths, one of his ministries or whatever it is probably introduced hamburger shops in recent year, and since anything is related to glorious leader, hamburgers weren't safe from it

Like I said before, his action are logical from a political stand point he is spreading propaganda to stay and keep his regime in control, like we do in the west to be honest, only here it happens on a much more sophiticated way thanks or because of globalisation and easy access to information

Here is a picture from Mosul. Yazidi women, who were captured by the ISIS on their way to the local slave market. They are going to be sold to the highest bidder. ISIS has set ambitious revenue targets from the sale of captive women.

yes that same picture was in the second link I posted, I'll just delete the link as it is quite brutal here is another image

ISIS is beheading anyone that doesn't follow them in the region, and making women slaves and selling them (welcome back to the middle age), but I find it sad, that only when Catholics got involved that international intervention started ....

Yeah... heard that 300 Yazidi women were abducted from Sinjar and then forcibly married to the ISIS terrorists. The Islamists call this procedure Jihad marriage. And you are right... no one cares about the Yazidis and Assyrians. Only if the Catholics are targeted, people will act.

They are not only marrying them but selling them http://madworldnews.com/isis-sex-slave-market-christian-women/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=isis-sex-slave-market-christian-women

279  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is getting ready to bomb the USA :( on: August 11, 2014, 01:01:47 PM
If countries that are against China, such as USA, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines and many others declare war on China at the same time, they can't really do much. All they can do is ask for help from Russia and North Korea, and escalate it into a WW3, but China will get bombarded anyway.

In case of a China vs US war, Russia is going to remain neutral. At the most, they might announce some token sanctions against the Americans. Every single one of China's neighbors are concerned about the growing military might of China. Russia is no exception.

Russia is also "neutral" in the Ukranian conflict. I think that would also be the case if that were to happen in US vs China.
Also, everyone is concerned except for Kim Jong Un, who is a crazy pig that has no idea what he's doing. And he would side with China.

I doubt he is a crazy pig that doesn't know what he is doing (as he is portrayed by our medias), in fact what he is doing is pretty rational from a political stand point, hence the only reason why he and his group is in power is because of strong nationalism in the country under the threat of a war with the west and the S.Korea, that's why from time to time you see those kind of baseless acclamations as if he is standing against the US, while in fact N.Korea doesn't stand a chance the real concern with N.Korea is that they could potentially harm S.Korea and maybe Japan.

A full scale war between China and US is not going to happen, as it is the case with Russia, it's even worse with China because both sides will hurt on a large scale economically
