261  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Tutoryal]: Paano gamitin ang Viabtc transaction accelerator on: January 03, 2024, 05:16:22 PM

262  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Suite Update, February 2022 on: January 03, 2024, 03:56:54 PM
screen of Trezor One is probably to small to show all the characters correctly with spacing.
You have a point, but considering that there are two physical buttons on the Model One, they could've easily added another page for the remaining alphanumeric characters [the same applies to the Safe 3 model as well].
- A weird decision by Trezor to exclude the other two!
263  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Safepal hardware wallet review and opinions on: January 03, 2024, 02:01:52 PM
I was more interested in knowing if in the earn section, when you activate the stake, the coins remain in the wallet or are transferred to another platform,
I'm not sure if you already know the answer or not, but from a bunch of videos I've seen on YouTube, it appears to require a transaction for staking/unstaking so it definitely goes to another platform [unfortunately].

After Safepal released the latest X1 series of hardware, Safepal seems to be more serious in developing firmware by adding several new chains that are now quite popular such as Core Network and some BRC20 network tokens that are currently popular.
Regarding the latter part, I think it's a direct result of their close ties with Binance, as opposed to their latest hardware wallet.
264  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin rings? Bracelet and other jewelry? on: January 03, 2024, 12:04:07 PM
If you don't use Bitcoin logo, how can jewelry represent bitcoin? If you use cryptographic patterns, it can represent many things, one might think about encryption, someone else might think about bitcoin or altcoin and the perception will be very individual. Btw do you have any creative ideas? I would love to see it.
The first thing that comes to my mind is utilizing the spaces on both sides of the ring for the POW model [due to its limited space, a simple mining process would be more than enough] and as for the centerpiece, you can creatively show its max supply of 21M [you can go crazy with this part].
- For the back part of the ring, the usual known slogans (e.g. Vires in Numeris) would be fine (even if they were not solely made for Bitcoin).
265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are your experiences with NGRAVE wallet? on: December 28, 2023, 09:54:17 AM
It also says they hold the highest security level certificate, which I assumed to be genuine because of the price tag.
If NGRAVE is bad, I wonder why it has the highest security certificate.
I've seen these lines in multiple parts of their website but unfortunately, it's somewhat misleading [they're putting emphasis on something (secure firmware grading of EAL7, as opposed to their secure element grading of EAL5+) that other manufacturers don't even publish anything about it], but just ignore everything that I said and focus in the following part:

  • Let's assume that their so-called secure OS was indeed very secure, then why they're still afraid to make it open-source with "zero-day vulnerabilities" excuses [more than two years have passed since its launch date, but there's still nothing]?
266  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Year end survey ; Best Signature campaign manager on: December 27, 2023, 02:12:17 PM
(take note, wag nyung isulat ang pangalan ng campaign manager, kundi i vote nyu lang sa poll).
Roger that Wink

Keep up the good work Smiley

I've chosen Ngrave because of the customer service (they are located in my country)
The latter part is not always a good thing [e.g. if their database gets hacked by a local hacker, you'll become an easy target]!

Are there any things I have to watch out for?
If you're using the firmware v1.4 that introduced the passphrase feature earlier in the month, only use it if you fully understand it [I've seen a lot of users who lost access to their wallets because of this feature].
269  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Safe 3 New Hardware Wallet on: December 24, 2023, 09:36:36 AM
I have checked the tracking number, which has marked delivered but I haven't received anything yet.
If you're checking it with the UPS tracker or one of those universal trackers, I'd recommend using only local trackers to get the most accurate status updates [I had similar issues in the past (not with Trezor, other stuff) and this helped me figure things out about my package].
270  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Suite Update, February 2022 on: December 23, 2023, 06:35:21 PM
Are you running the latest firmware?
Yes, it has 1.12.1 firmware in it.

Try the oldest tricks in the world: restart the Trezor Suite or the PC after the update and try again.
Tried both of them [I even reinstalled Trezor Suite], but still no luck on my side.

I don't think this is something that only works for their Model T and Trezor Safe 3 models, and that they intentionally didn't introduce it for the Model One.
Considering that their December update didn't have any firmware for the Model One, I'm leaning towards the latter part being the case [unfortunately].
271  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Anyone selling Bitcoin Magazine old editions? on: December 23, 2023, 04:41:39 PM
I am looking to purchase the older editions of Bitcoin Magazine for my collection.
Not sure if you have any issues with direct purchases from their website, but they still have almost all of the older editions [except for issue 2] in their store [in perfect condition]: Bitcoin Magazines
272  Economy / Services / Re: Compliance solutions on: December 23, 2023, 02:01:38 PM
@zezole
While we're still waiting for you to properly introduce the company you're representing here, would you mind providing an in-depth explanation concerning how KYC data is being kept safe from hackers?
- The company that you're trying to represent here belongs to a field with not the best reputation in recent years (e.g. compromised databases, etc...), so it's a sensitive subject!
273  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 23, 2023, 12:23:00 PM

- I'm not referring to Bitcoin developers!

274  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Suite Update, February 2022 on: December 23, 2023, 09:42:37 AM
During address verification, the addresses are now displayed in chunks of 4 characters each, making it easier to verify. I am not sure if this applies only to the addresses shown in Trezor Suite or also the ones on the hardware wallet screen. I hope it's for both.
Just finished updating it to the latest version, but for some reason, it's not working on my end [Trezor Suite and Model One]... I tried toggling it off and then on [address display (continuous/spaced)], but still had no luck getting it to work.
275  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cfoptionnetwork - Ponzi scheme on: December 22, 2023, 04:20:35 PM
Through some research, I found another domain for the same Ponzi scheme, with an interface and content identical to it, which is apexreconminers[.]com
Found a few more websites using the same template and content:
- Surprisingly, all of them are using the same registrar (OwnRegistrar) as well, so there's a high chance they're being controlled by the same scammer and that makes it easier for us to report all of them at the same time.

276  Other / Meta / Re: Who is in charge of editing the "Bitcoin Wiki: Editing Privilages" page? on: December 22, 2023, 12:55:35 PM
Based on its "revision history", Taras is/was probably the one who's responsible for updating it, but it seems that's no longer the case... Out of the other three contributors, only Luke-jr is still contributing stuff, so the following route that you mentioned earlier is probably also the best way of getting his attention:

277  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 22, 2023, 11:57:24 AM
Ayon  , ganon pala ang technique kabayan? i ready kona ang transaction ID ko all time hanggang mag 59 minutes?

san ko kaya makukuha ang exact time and seconds ?
Since UTC ang ginagamit nila, kailangan lang natin abangan ang time sa PC or mobile devices natin Smiley
278  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Tutoryal]: Paano gamitin ang Viabtc transaction accelerator on: December 22, 2023, 11:03:57 AM

279  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 22, 2023, 09:32:41 AM
Dapat naka ready yung transaction mo one minute bago mareset ang timer nila [e.g. 10:59], tapos as soon as na nag reset, isubmit mo agad.

280  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW coming soon! on: December 21, 2023, 10:54:29 PM
Does Keystone Pro differ from Keystone 3 only in that it has a removable battery?
As previously mentioned by @dkbit98, neither of them comes with a removable battery, but here are a couple of differences between the two:

  • One less secure element [or rather an MCU] chip on the Keystone 3 [2 vs 3 on the Pro version].
  • No biometric authentication feature on the Keystone 3.
