341  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: November 04, 2023, 12:43:41 PM
May simpleng chart sa blockchain.com na kung saan pinapakita nito ang "average transaction fees in USD", pero it's worth noting na may mga missing data from the earlier years ng Bitcoin kaya walang accurate data for ATL [the same thing applies to other platforms].
342  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [LIST] T-Shirts/SOCCER TEAMS Sponsored by blockchain companies on: November 03, 2023, 08:28:52 PM
fc flyeralarm admira is breaking new ground in sponsorship and is now marketing Bitcoin as a technology for decentralized payment systems.
For a second, I thought they'd be promoting it for free so I wanted to applaud them, but it appears that they're getting paid by Hubert Thonhauser [source].

343  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Tangem Ring HW - The Lord of the Rings? on: November 03, 2023, 08:21:00 AM
First I thought it was some kind of joke, but than I received confirmation from several source, and I see some preview images.
Design-wise, it reminded me of the Bitcoin Bolt Ring, and even if it comes with a lot of features, I think it'd suffer the same fate as the one I mentioned earlier [e.g. little to no success].

First thing on my mind was about sizing, because you can't have universal one-size-fits-all, fir different fingers.
They'd probably offer it in two/three sizes.
344  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ANN] Cypherock X1 - Hardware based Wallet Aggregator for your Crypto on: November 02, 2023, 07:04:11 PM
  • Use it to keep other hardware wallets along with your Cypherock X1 safe against scratches
Regardless of its durability and strength, I still don't think it's a good idea to keep all of our hardware wallets in a single place!

  • It is Dust & Water Resistant
Does it come with a rating?

BTW, you might want to lock one of the threads on the Hardware wallets sub-board [there's no point in having two (the "lock topic" button is located in the bottom-left corner of the page)].
345  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nirerecomend Mo Ba Ang Article Na Ito Sa Mga Baguhan Sa Bitcoin on: November 02, 2023, 12:39:25 PM

Bukod doon sa nabanggit ko kanina, nire-recommend ko na basahin ang "The Internet of Money: A collection of talks by Andreas M. Antonopoulos [Vol 1, Vol 2 at Vol 3]".

347  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 📖 BLOCKXS.COM - CRYPTO WEBSITE DIRECTORY on: November 01, 2023, 09:33:41 AM
@Stakefast
I didn't expect to see another crypto directory "from you" and since I prefer using the other one over this, I'm wondering if you're planning to halt Bitpr0's operations in order to focus on this one instead.
348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some world maps for Bitcoiners on: October 31, 2023, 06:07:47 PM
There are some global maps that are helpful for Bitcoiners:
This is a great list of maps, but considering that your sole target is Bitcoiners, I think you should remove some of them...

In addition to the above things, I have mixed feelings about including some of the outdated maps [e.g. cryptocurrency world map] on the list.
349  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 31, 2023, 02:07:59 PM

I'm comparing it with a forum, it makes everything worse!

351  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: NEW SafePal X1 hardware wallet on: October 29, 2023, 04:32:10 PM
To those who might be interested in getting this specific HW, videos [unboxing, review, or tutorial] are slowly coming out and the best one so far is probably from SafePal: Learn How to Set Up Your SafePal X1 Hardware Wallet
- I'm not sure if there was an agreement in place for those who got it from the event to not release any reviews or videos, but someone else did it prior to them: SAFEPAL X1 Unboxing

  • It appears that the Bluetooth pairing mode is somewhat buggy [8:31 to 9:44].
  • By the look of things, I was wrong about the displayed addresses being limited to the first and last bits only [10.08]
352  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] kollektra.com (Beta) on: October 28, 2023, 12:58:39 PM
- search for collectibles and view details
In addition to all of the categories on the above spreadsheet, you might want to link each of the collectibles to their respective official pages as well.

- add to your portfolio
It'd be nice if we also had the ability to pick their conditions together with the prices that we paid for them.

- Track and get notification if there are price spikes
I'm not sure if you're planning to monitor only a specific place or many places but the latter would lead to a disaster [unfortunately, this should be the route if you want to do it accurately]!

BTW, I noticed a bunch of duplicate listings.
353  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin rings? Bracelet and other jewelry? on: October 28, 2023, 09:15:53 AM
But since everyone here loves bitcoin, want to hear your honest opinion, would you buy something like this with bitcoin logo?
Only if I really like its design, I'd consider getting one as a collectible item, but you might get more potential buyers if the manner in which you incorporate it into your design isn't that recognizable to normal people.
354  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Safe 3 New Hardware Wallet on: October 27, 2023, 02:23:21 PM
Packaging is different compared to older version of hardware wallet,
This may sound weird, but I like this kind of packaging more since we no longer have to literally destroy the box in order to get to the HW itself... Having said that, I didn't like how they wrapped their devices with sticky paper that left glue residue in the crevices [the back cover of the Model One was better].
- I also have mixed feelings about the tamper-evident seal on the device since it gives a false sense of security!

356  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 27, 2023, 07:10:01 AM
Kung binabalak mong i-convert lahat ng mga altcoin mo sa Bitcoin, go with Passport Batch 2 [for holding your altcoins, I'd go with BitBox02 (multi-edition)].

Except trezor
Out of curiosity, bakit ayaw mo ng Trezor devices? Dahil ba ito sa CoinJoin [optional] or iba?

Additional notes:
This explorer is one of the many products on the above website and it's still evolving [source]... For the time being, it doesn't have an easy way to see the details of a block [we have to manually add the block hash to he following link (for some reason, using the block height in the following spaces results into inaccurate data for the block hash)]:

358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Create Taproot address for your Bitcoin on: October 26, 2023, 03:55:58 PM
Other wallets that are supporting pay-to-taproot are: Fully Nodes, BitBox02, Coldcard, Specter, Bitmask, Muun, Zeus wallet, Blixt walletz, MyCitadel, Exodus wallet etc cetera.
You're right, but it's worth mentioning that @SquirrelJulietGarden wanted to only list open-source wallets so some of the above names would've not been added to the list, but I don't think it matters anymore since it appears that OP is no longer interested in updating the thread [unfortunately].
359  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Discussion]Business idea gamit ang Bitcoin on: October 26, 2023, 01:53:58 PM
Up to 50% discount since 70% naman ang profit margin ko. Most of my customer talaga ay ayaw magventure sa Bitcoin since mas preferred talaga nila ang fiat para no hassle sa transaction.
Grabe...
Note: Hindi ko sinasabi na 100% safe ang mga decentralized alternatives, pero for the most part, mas okay sila!

Anu sa palagay nyo, sa nangyayare na security breaches all over the world,?
Unfortunately, they're bound to happen at some point.
