You made good decision to create not too long videos. 10 minutes to 12 minutes are enough for watching a video as if it is longer, it will be harder for us to focus on the video.
Yeah, I think that 10-15 minutes is optimal length for such kind of videos. I doubt that you would find many people who would watch 1 hour documentary about online forum. With our fast rhytm of life not everyone has time for long videos, also, younger generation often struggle to keep attention for longer time. Some long documentary still have popularity, but it need to have lot of visual content, like documentary about history or nature.

I thought that my 15 points was not bad performance, but when I saw other results, I realised that it was just average. I predicted qualification winner, fastest lap and 9 of 10 Top 10 finishers, only struggled with exact positions.
Congrats to @swogerino with first yellow cap of season. With getting EBPI'm afraid that he will leave no chances for us Cheesy

Twitter is awash with people giving up on watching though, another Max-imum Red Bull season will tend to throw the switch off for a lot of people -- perhaps even myself included.

22-second lead. What competition?
I must admit that I almost fall asleep during the race. There was no questions about the winner already after first turn. Furthermore, there weren't much action in rest of peloton what made race boring to watch.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: March 01, 2024, 11:43:56 PM
Portugal's match schedule has become a bit confusing hehe. Maybe it's because of the teams participating in the continental championships and they are obligated to change some dates
Yeah, probably that's a reason why we have such schedule, but usually, in other countries calendar is made in such way that there is no need to make changes in calendar because of continental cups. There is room for improvement for Portugal

Quote
Benfica seem to have improved over the last few games and are doing very well in the championships right now
It's going to be a VERY tough game for both teams, but I also believe Sporting will qualify
Viktor Gyökeres is helping the team a lot, yesterday he scored another goal in an important match, and if he continues at the same level, he can help Sporting get further in the Europa League as well
I actually thought that in semifinals we have single leg format, same like in previous rounds, but yeah, there is second leg game remaining. Meanwhile Benfica have big game with Porto this round. If Porto still have intentions to get involved into title race, it's must win game for them.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: March 01, 2024, 11:33:00 PM
match is in final moments, and Partizan is near a win over Efes, and probably over 100 points scored tonight
important win, hopefully there will not be some major surprise in last seconds, that gets us back into play-off race

on the other side, Efes is now pretty far from that fight, 2 wins at least, and there is not much games left
Maccabi already won over Alba, while Virtus is ahead over Valencia, and Real is surprisingly losing at home against PAO
If we're talking about play-in, being 2 games away still isn't mission impossible, but situation is complicated after you lose against direct competitor. Zalgiris is 2 wins away too, they didn't had chances against Olympiacos today, but I'm not sure that they had that much expectations to win this game.
What is a bit unexpected is Monaco win against Barca away. Seems that Monaco become most difficult opponent for Barca after Real recently. And Alba - they didn't lost, they were humiliated. It's justshameful to lose at home by 35 points...
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2024 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: March 01, 2024, 07:33:54 PM
First of all, gentlemen, congratulations with start of new season! 22 participants in pool - really nice number, don't remember how many we had last year, but I guess that something similar. Nothing unexpected in qualifying. It seems that Ferrari have some unused potential to go faster, but on the other hand I'm not sure that Max has showed his best. Haas looks fast on qualifying, question what they can show on races.

For me is the first time I am enjoying full EBP points since race one as the previous seasons I missed the first race despite me scoring prize spots in both other previous seasons.
Getting into prize spots without EBP is serious stuff. Please continue not to use it, otherwise I'm afraid that we don't have chances against you Cheesy.
266  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 01, 2024, 07:14:40 PM
Meanwhile is time to start talking about a disaster for the Ruzzian aviation. Another A-50 and two more SU fighter / bomber. The free-ride to launch the gliding bombs is becoming more of a roulette game (I cannot avoid the pun: a Ruzzian Roulette game) and I so surprised that Ruzzis are actually letting the A-50 (this are those planes with a huge radar on-top like the AWACS) actually get in the danger zone. It smells of desperation.

The A-50s are soviet tek, the production lines are not there, the know how has been lost and the components will be nearly impossible to source. As said, buying Ukrainian agricultural land at Manhattan prices.
I read somehwere that after losing second A-50 plane, Russia didn't tried to use one of few their remaining planes near to Ukraine. So, it may be one of reasons why they lost so many fighter jets in such short time, sometimes even more than one jet per day. 13 fighter jets in 13 days in huge loses
Today I read interesting article with revealed details of Istanbul peace deal draft:
https://kyivindependent.com/wsj-russias-peace-terms-include-ukraine-outside-nato-limited-military-2022-document-shows/
Main points of it:
Quote
According to the 17-page document dated April 15, 2022, Ukraine would be allowed to seek EU membership but not entry to NATO or any other military bloc. Ukraine's Armed Forces would have to be reduced to a certain size, no foreign weapons would be stationed on its territory, and  Crimea would remain de facto in Russian hands.

Russia would see Ukrainian forces limited to 85,000 troops, 342 tanks, and 519 artillery pieces, while Ukrainian negotiators wanted 250,000 troops, 800 tanks, and 1,900 artillery pieces, according to the document.

Russia also reportedly wanted to limit the range of Ukrainian missiles to 40 kilometers (25 miles).
And then people are wondering why Ukraine didn't agreed with. Such conditions basically is capitulation of Ukraine and would end in similar and probably worse way than Budapest memorandum.

OP, even after your second post it didn't become clear what exactly you're planning to do. OK, your Mac is too old to instal Bitcoincore and run a node. But why exactly you need it. Why lightweight wallets like Electrum isn't an option for you, I'm sure that it would work on your Mac. Yeah, you won't be able to run a node on it, but do you really need it?
And as said above, why exactly you need Mac? PC's with Windows OS is significantly cheaper. And you can buy decent used PC for much less than $800.
And finally, you haven't explained clear enough what you're planning to do next. Because now you just come to forum asking money from random strangers, do you expect that money comes so easy. After all, Bitcointalk isn't crowdfunding platform.

When I saw title of topic I was a bit sceptical and didn't expected that video will be as good as described. But actually it was very well made. Keep up with it!
BTW, took a look on your Youtube channel, I see that you have plenty of good looking videos, over 140k subscribers, but there is so few views. I'm wondering why? Maybe you bought subscribers. Sorry for this question, just a bit curious.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: February 29, 2024, 08:08:48 PM
It looks a bit strange when two different rounds of cup are played on the same day, but we have such situation in Portugal today.
Santa Clara and Porto played last 1/4 final game and Porto won it 1:2. They will face Vitoria Guimares in semifinal. Other semifinal is starting soon. We have derby between Sporting and Benfica. Personally, I see Sporting as favorites in this game, they're looking more solid and consistent all season long.

Of course, I am sure you are going to get 10 "kills" a week minimum now until you reach twice the number of Abrams actually sent  Grin Grin Grin Nothing new, bonus in the Ruzzian army are common place and one of the main reasons why kills are miscounted by design.

Anyway, it seems that Macron has spoken out the idea of an increased European involvement with Ukraine. US may retreat, EU does not have that luxury. I guess Macron can speak out loud because France does have a nuclear deterrent.
This is how propaganda works:
https://twitter.com/Xenta777/status/1761724381867257984
As of February 24, 2022: Ukraine had 250 airplanes and helicopters

By February 24, 2024: 839 airplanes and helicopters had been destroyed

About Macron words, I was surprised to hear it from him, you would expect to hear it from maybe Poland, Czechia or Baltics, but not from him. And seems that these ideas didn't got much support.
And I'm getting more and more sceptical about words of politicians about this war. C'mon, they failed to supply promised 1 million 155 mm shells and now they're talking about sending troops from NATO countries.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision 2024 bets on: February 28, 2024, 08:36:13 PM
I think the countries that have a guaranteed spot in the final rarely bother to send an entry that's too good partly because it would be too cocky, but also because they don't need to bother. These entries don't reach the final on merit so if they want to send a joke entry and get it seen by everyone without having to bother with semi-finals, they sure can. But I think the United Kingdom and Germany specifically, being some of the largest countries in Europe, as well as having a guaranteed spot in the final, usually don't want to be too competitive.

It's so weird and really a shame to see the U.K., a country with such a robust music scene, to end up taking places close to the last year after year. Like yeah, ok, some countries really don't like the UK., but they've also been sending irrelevant songs. Not particularly bad, just really forgettable.
It's strange that being biggest financial contributors they're ok with ending in last places every year, sometimes even without gettting any points. On the other hand, it would be even more strange and maybe even unfair if they would start sending their A tier stars like Dua Lipa or Ed Sheeran.

Yes, I agree. Croatia has a much better song than last year's entry, (which was a bit too controversial, imho.)  If I'm not mistaken, it resembles Rammstein's music a bit.
I'm not saying it's a ripoff, but maybe the artist was inspired by the iconic German rock band. Wink
Actually, nowadays almost allsongs that I hear resembles something. It's getting hard to find something 100% unique. And probably to create too. They probably can sample parts of other songs not intentionally without even knowing about it.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: February 28, 2024, 08:21:56 PM
Finally Euroleague is back, this break looked such long. Partizan - Efes sound interesting, it's like 2 points game because direct competitors is playing.
Barca - Monaco should be good one too.

I am also not a fan of "buying players" and bringing them into the national team. I mean we also did this in the past with Chris Kaman and lately with Nick Weiler-Babb. But at least these guys have some German descent.
I'm fine when player have somie ties with country that he represents. But when they sign random players who maybe can't even find that country on the map, it's complete joke.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2023/2024 on: February 27, 2024, 09:43:50 PM
I think that most of us expected easy game for City, but damn, 2:6 was difficult to predict. And 5 goals of Haaland, damn, I just don't know what to say.
Was surprised that Bournemouth were heavy favoured vs Leicester by bookmakers. But when I saw their squad, it's all clear - Foxes gave priority to Championship and promotion to EPL. Despite it, game went to extra time and Leicester even took a lead.
And Newcastle didn't managed win against quite weak Championship side Blackburn in regular time and game went to another ET.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision 2024 bets on: February 27, 2024, 08:24:59 PM
Always interesting to have discussion about Eurovision here. Personally I'm happy with our (Lithuania choice. We sent Silvester Belt with song Luktelk https://youtu.be/OrL668EQRu0?si=WP-Zk6VDHlNyd5Ko
That was only song that I liked in our national selection. Yeah, it's not winning material, but I'm sure we will get into final and maybe will get decent place. I also like that we started to send song in Lithuanian language. IMO, our English songs sounds too much generic.

Croatia, it will be great or just terrible. Last year they also sent a bit strange song, but didn't got good result.

The Eurovision winner is determined by political alliances between countries and geographical proximity. Of course, a music contest sounds nice, and artistic activities lift our spirits, but this contest does not interest me because of its voting system. I wish the voting system of this contest was done by people living all over the world. Because in this case, the result is determined not by the quality of the music but by the political conjuncture. I'm sorry but I won't bet on this contest.
There is is lot of politics in Eurovision, but I wouldn't say that's main factor how winner is decided always. Let's take Sweden and Loreen last year - it would be difficult to find political context there.

Well, Germany has struck out at Eurovision again.  I hate to say it, but this year's entry just doesn't seem like a good fit for the contest.  We picked a decent song and Isaac is a talented singer, but the whole package lacks that special Eurovision sparkle needed to stand out.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twhq3S4YHdQ
Yeah, it's not bad, but nothing special. It sounds like song that you will forget after few minutes. Don't know why Germany aren't taking Eurovision more seriously.

LTU_btc what happened man? you were so tired after battle so much in the trenches.
Man, I don't know... I saved my ass on final seconds so many times during this season that my luck had to end sooner or later. Now I just hope to don't stuck in Division 2 for long like Stoke City, but it will be difficult with many big names playing there. Already waiting for next season to begin.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: February 26, 2024, 08:40:24 PM
So, Spain ends this window with 2 loses, Germany lost to Bulgaria, Lithuania to Estonia, but c'mon, what kind of basketball we have with results like 58-53 or 64-52.
Don't know how about you, but I hate that rules allow to hire random Anerican to play for national team like it would be club. Like Codi Miller - Mccintyre playing for Bulgaria or Zach Leday for Azerbaijan, it's just ridiculous.
Finally it's over, can't wait for Euroleague to see some proper basketball.
278  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Circus (Battery, Recover and more) on: February 26, 2024, 08:31:25 PM
Go to a local PC or mobile store in your city and get a long data cable that is long enough for your needs. Alternatively, use the Bluetooth feature of your Nano X.
Fortunately I have plenty of cables from other devices at home, so I can use it instead of original one.

The standard length of the Ledger Nano S / S+ / X cable has always been less than 1m. The following sizes are indicated on the official website: 71 mm x 86 mm x 25 mm.
Now I took cable from my old Nano S to check and it's exactly 1m long

Considering that it's impossible to find a replacement screen for the Nano X [it's exactly the opposite for the Nano S], the only option would be to ask for a replacement unit [if it's still under warranty].
- As a workaround, place your device in a slightly darker room, then try looking at it through the rear camera of your phone (default settings) to slightly improve what you're seeing (it's not going to be as good as what you're experiencing on the Nano S [4K], but it's better than nothing [maybe FHD]).
I didn't bought it, got it from promotion for free. And later sender turned into scam (Betnomi). So, I'm not sure that's under warranty and can I ask for replacement. Anyway, it doesn't looks that bad that I would need such lifehack to see things on screen. Just inconvenient and I wouldn't use it as my main wallet.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: February 26, 2024, 08:14:43 PM
Sometimes I notice that when a team plays in the continental championship, such as the Champions League or Europa League, the team can't play as well in the next game in the national championship
It can be a number of factors, travel to another country, physical and mental fatigue, the difficulty of the previous game, etc
And look, Porto and Sporting didn't get good results in the last round, while they got excelent results in Europa League and UCL  Cheesy

Maybe I'll avoid betting on those rounds
Yeah, good point, such things really happens. Especially if it was long away trip or tough game with extra time.
Rio Ave - Sporting was good game to watch. If you wouldn't know, it would be difficult to tell that Rio Ave is fighting to avoid relegation. They played great game yesterday.
Porto after dropping points vs Vizela made their situation very complicated. Next round game with Benfica will be do or die if they're still dreaming about title. But for me it's just doesn't looks that they have potential for it this season.

Well, that was fun ride, but my crazy luck couldn't continue forever. Sorry guys who backed me that I disappointed you. Expected something more from Milan against such dull today's Atalanta. Congratulations with promotion and got luck in Division 1! Congrats to arallmuus too with saving spot in Division 2, see you there next season!

Damn... That late goal by Liverpool in the overtime costed me.  UT never mind. As I said, I'll get my payback against Harkorede in the next round.

@LTU_btc give me your wallet to send you your reward
This win is at least some consolation for me. PM'ed you with BTC address

LTU_btc,  all the best of the new season...
Thanks, mate!
