261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worth more use of gold? on: September 23, 2018, 07:27:24 PM
Gold itself is an investment but i believe that bitcoin is of more worth. Investing in bitcoin can help you earning the double amount of money and number of profits. But this is not so in the case of gold. Gold cannot bring stability in the economy but bitcoin can do. So it can be concluded that bitcoin is better than the gold.

As an Investment Gold has more value or more demand, but if we talk about usability feature, I would say Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies have more worth. But I doubt what you said about bringing stability in the economy, I think nobody can do so, if you are talking about it as an investment, then Bitcoin itself being unstable, I doubt how it can stable an economy.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 23, 2018, 05:36:34 PM
Pakistan has performed poorly against India in multi-nation tournaments such as World Cup, Champions Trophy and Asia Cup. So I don't expect to Pakistan to win today. They are a very good team, but against India they seems to be having issues.
Pakistan is a good team but their performance is not stable and whenever they play against India i don't know what will happen they will lose easy matches. I think today also they may lose this match. Just one over left and the score is 232/6 i think India can easily chase this small target.

Rohit Sharma's catch dropped in the beginning and now the rest is history, India is going to win the match counting the current status of the match. Currently, around 160 with no loss of wickets, I guess and hope we could see duo century from the openers.

Afghanistan vs Bangladesh match is now quite interesting, as it seems Afghanistan is facing tough times, they need to hit harder in order to win, not a bad target after all, and now with good bowling by Bangladesh.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: September 22, 2018, 06:01:37 PM
Nothing can predict in market situations and sometimes predictions don't match what you want, let the market go as it is and hold the coins you have when the price of the coin you hold is very low.
because the movement of the market or your coin depends on how strong you hold the coin when the price falls, believe me sooner or later there will be changes and increases.

Absolutely true, and moreover recently max prediction came false. Rather it made some of my newbie friends panicked as well as they completely believed in what they said. I agree that we should let it go as it is going, just use cryptocurrency, trade or use it to transact or hold. Just don't sell them for fiat if not needed urgently.
And actually, it is recovering but again falling, now if the expectation is retouching $20k, then I will say it will take time and God knows when it will recover.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Dethroned Ethereum on: September 21, 2018, 07:26:30 PM
This is good that both Ripple and Ethereum started to grow again. Now Ripple started faster but that doesn't mean that it will stay like this forever. I think Ethereum could take leadership again.

Ethereum grew today along with XRP. Nearly all coins are green with few up by more than 10%. I hope this is the start of something new, something good.
I am not sure, but it seems XRP created this rise or might have helped. Ethereum is still strong than XRP, I don't think Ethereum even if surpassed by other coins will be far behind for long.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 21, 2018, 06:16:28 PM
India have restricted Bangladesh for 173 and India started of good if they play properly then they can easily win this match

Afghanistan played superbly and scored 257/6 , this score can be defended as Pakistan batsman are not that good and Seeing the Afghanistan spinners bowling i think Afghanistan will win this match and they will play against India in Final.

Afghanistan played mind-blowing the last match, showed their batting and bowling capability. Now today with 257, it is possible to restrict PAK, but if there is no fall of a wicket, Pakistan may win this match as its 105 from 102 balls, not quite hard if they hold their wickets.
Today India won the match. Even in the absence of Kohli, Captain Rohit is guiding the team brilliantly, providing a good score from his side as well.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 21, 2018, 05:03:14 PM
Bitcoin is still the first valuable cryptocurrency right now, so I think the people still interested about this coin and having confidence in it, and we can see that the volume of trading BTC is still high compared to other cryptocurrencies.

Being the primary currency/coin, people still have a good amount of trust, as in many cases, people trade with other coins using Bitcoin only. So the trade volume of BTC is high as well. Today the market is in a pretty good position, up by 4.44%
And on tough days, investors have to show some confidence or else, panic can create more bad stories and situation.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The era of bounty hunter comes to an edd? on: September 20, 2018, 04:45:04 PM
I don't think so. In last year the market grew. And when the tokens began to trade they did x3-4. Now the market if fallowing. I think bounty will be as long as ICOs. We need to wait until the new waves of
growth

As long as the ICOs will be there, for sure there will be Bounties, but the question is how good are these coins/projects. I agree even this year we saw a good amount of ICOs coming in, but very few are productive and with a good future prospect, thus many Bounties were closed in between as the project could not even acquire Soft Cap. So yeah this year it is hard, but that does not mean its the end of ICOs as well as the Bounty Hunters. Even this year, I personally saw some good ICOs, a personal favorite as well, now let's see if they deliver.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 19, 2018, 06:14:22 PM
Well played team India, a required win in absence of Kohli. Rohit Sharma, current Capt. did really good, lead his team perfectly. A win was quite predictable, but the target was quite low for them. Didn't thought bowlers of Indian team would do so well.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: September 19, 2018, 05:06:54 PM
a lot of exchange gives wider space for tokens and coins that are not as fast as possible listing on the market, this is the advantage of the project owner or ICO side. while the advantage of the coin owner or trader is that they have more opportunities to determine the market and the price they want

Not only the coin owner, but it also helps the investor as well. We don't have to like wait for any particular exchange to get the coins listed on their website. And many new ICOs doesn't get listed too easily or quickly in few exchanges, so I think having a vast good exchange is necessary. With more quality exchange in the market, there will be a competition which will make them increase there service quality.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your worst investment decision this year on: September 19, 2018, 06:00:10 AM
The worst part was investing in ETH, and every time I thought I could buy at the lowest price, there was another crash. I've lost a lot of money so far.

The same thing happened with me as well buddy, I invested twice in ETH thinking it will grow, but as of now, I am in huge loss. Though we don't know what might happen in future and if and only if there is a bull run, and it crosses $450-$500, I will be in some profit. Only hoping for the best will be a choice.
Another bad decision is I didn't sell off few airdrop coins, which went little high upon listing but now they are like nothing to where they were.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the price of cryptocurrencies be stable? on: September 18, 2018, 06:38:50 PM
I believe that this market has never been characterized by great stability, because unlike institutional markets, the crypto market has been much more susceptible to experiencing large inflows or outflows of capital according to the rumors or the emotional aspect of the investors.

And personally I do not think this will change much in the medium term, because the decentralized aspect of the market prevents it from being intervened by regulatory authorities that prevent the speculative manipulation of prices.
I think that government support will be very influential in increasing the stability of cryptocurrency prices. Until now, cryptocurrency prices will never be stable because there is still not enough support. One that has the biggest impact is the support and actions taken by the government. The government has a very big role because when the government provides support, everything will be much better, the ultimate goal is that cryptocurrency will have a very good level of stability.

Government support will bring in more people and it will increase the price value, and people will be transacting, trading thus, making it kind of more volatile. I don't think it will be stable ever, the supply being limited will make it go up and down as per the demand and supply. But cryptocurrency introduced in terms of fiat will be stable, like USDT etc.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: September 18, 2018, 06:13:31 PM
I think regulation mean that cryptocurrency is legal in that country.  So it is GOOD.
I do think the same, with regulation it can help to introduce cryptocurrency to new people that dont even know about it. With regulations there will be a protection for investors and it will become barrier for people that trying to make a scam from it. ICO seems the easiest way to fund money and many people use it as a way to scam people so i do believe regulations is good for everyone.

As my country has put some restrictions upon Cryptocurrency and its transaction with fiat, so I feel it's better to be regulated than completely or partially restricted or banned. P2P system is good, but still, people are hesitant to take up this system and use it. New users have seemingly gone down after the restriction was imposed. While introducing to my friends, maximum of them said no after knowing the restriction by government.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many think crypto is dead. It is not. on: September 10, 2018, 07:12:37 PM
Those people who said that Crypto is dead are the same people who said the same thing before. They just don't know when to stop and accept the reality that Crypto will stay. it will not be dead just because of the situation right now. Crypto has proven itself over and over again. so let's just Hold and be patient.

Quite true, people who are not happy or ready to accept the emerging market of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, assets are the people who are continuously trying to slow down the spread among the people by spreading or indulging fear. But someday even those people will realize this fact as you said, this technology is here to stay. I believe hold them and also use them or transact using it. This will keep it alive and with the increased transaction it will benefit.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is going down, is it a good time to hold the coin? on: September 10, 2018, 06:36:06 PM
All 2018, the market collapses and we hear that you just have to wait, I think that I need to wait for anything, just sell your coins and leave the game. I think that this is a good option to save some of your money and spend it on something important

Totally depends upon the HODLer, if the person is ready to risk it, then it's good option HODL. And if fear is killing him/her and some important work needs to be done with fiat money and you are waiting for some miracle suddenly after hearing people giving their speculative thoughts, then just withdraw it.
Before selling or buying just forget everything you hear or read, just think on your own before taking a decision.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: September 08, 2018, 06:49:07 PM
I think and hope they will only tax the people who have invested and then earned some on which tax will be imposed. If the tax is put on every transaction, which I guess is not possible, or on every fiat-crypto trade, then it will be a bad thing as there are many online sellers who now accept Bitcoins or other crypto coins. Its better if tax is imposed upon the earnings, not in terms of each fiat-crypto trading.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: September 08, 2018, 06:35:16 PM
When they first heard about it from me, few heard it after it went high suddenly. They were pretty amazed, few had some wrong info but boasted it as 100% true information  Grin  Later when it plunged down, they used to say NO, whenever I wanted to talk about it or suggested them to invest or at least try to know more.
Even one of my professor supported what the government tried to do, banning fiat-crypto trading after I submitted a paper on it. But I did challenge her the decision is temporary and someday you will remember me  Grin But she started laughing, now I couldn't figure out what was on her mind after I completed my presentation.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 07, 2018, 10:45:21 AM
The 5th and final test match will start later today and from all reports it will be Alastair Cook's final Test before the 33 year old former captain retires from international cricket. Its a shame that he lost his form over the past couple of years as he was a great run scorer for England, I believe he now holds the record for most runs score for England in test matches. It will be an interesting 5th test as England would want to win to send their former captain out on a high while India will be looking to bounce back after a hard loss.

The last match of a very interesting series is ending, both the teams gave it all, but in the end team England came out on the top in almost all departments. Alastair cook made his debut against team India, and it's sheer coincidence he's retiring against them, he's truly humble and one of the best captain I have ever seen. I'm expecting team India to make wholesale changes to thier team, with a series of Australia looming ahead, this is an excellent chance to experiment. I would yet mark team England as favourites and Alastair to score big, what do you'll think.

Even I want Cook to retire having a good score in the last test match. Cook is quite humble I believe and it's a beautiful time he is retiring, won the series, the team is in good form, everything is positive. And about India, I agree they need to change their setting completely, or like in this series, the result can be the same against Australia. Watching this test series, England at the moment is the best team I felt.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: September 07, 2018, 08:48:18 AM
When I was a beginner, I realized a fact about a few online gambling portals/websites. I used to win very easily while in the other one, it was hard to win. Later some seniors said that the ones where I win easily, they are just letting me win to boost my confidence so that later I put in more money. Mainly Dice games where I found this scenario. Another game Poker, where I never used to win until and unless I learned few things and used my skill, thus now I win a little bit.
So, luck will be constant I guess, but in different games and different websites, it will vary.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market? on: September 06, 2018, 10:54:40 AM
Investing would be a good option, avoid day to day trade if anyone is new and if he/she is unable to handle a sudden loss. At every dip, try to buy few, and then you may decide to keep it for long term or for a shorter period of time, not day to day though. But even now one can earn, people just have to be very good with analysis and prediction capability, which will make them earn when there is a sudden rise.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will keep people from getting into cryptocurrency? on: September 06, 2018, 06:13:14 AM
Most people are unsure about the future of cryptocurrency, I am talking about the general people or people with orthodox mindset. Also, newcomers are currently thinking more than twice before getting them indulged with cryptocurrency because governments are putting restrictions and also the usability feature is lacking, investors find it more convenient and safe to invest in stock markets rather than cryptos, lack of support is one of the cause.

A support from the government followed by the coverage of news media and few big companies adopting it as a payment option or at least giving a support statement can possibly not only keep people getting into cryptocurrency but also will increase the volume of use.
