2601  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: October 30, 2019, 02:22:18 PM
What are the things differ from mindset of common man with investor, please share your thoughts.

IMO,investors never want to take loans for their consumption like home loan, car loan, etc then just save money and will buy the things for their needs but common man like you and me will buy the things immediately when we get the desire of it using loans but we are paying 20% of interest to those kind of loans.
There aren't that much difference between an investor and a common man for they still have a lot in common. There are common man that also has the mindset of an investor that might have shaped by how his environment is like making him wise and good at handling things but just doesn't have the assets or the needs to do investment. There are also investors who has everything it takes and needs to start an investment but has the mindset of a common man. Generally and usually, an investor is good at decision making especially financially and do less loans but do more savings while common man is otherwise.
2602  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: October 30, 2019, 02:06:45 PM
Now that crypto is allowing us to transact globally I am questioning if we are going  to start to see more scams happen between countries. Do we need more compliance companies to step in to help major scams and illegal trafficking?

Full report: https://ciphertrace.com/articles/q1-2019-cryptocurrency-anti-money-laundering-report/
Scams are really getting serious as its rate grow bigger and bigger. But when it comes to crypto scams, it doesn't really concerns the government of most countries for most of them aren't into supporting cryptocurrency, relying into compliance companies isn't of any convenience for it might cost us more, nothing is free. It is our responsibility to make sure that we aren't getting ourselves into scams for scams aren't controllable and not easy to get rid of. Also there aren't that much scams when it comes to crypto, it's not the cryptocurrency that is a scam but those people makes scam and is just using crypto to earn something out of their schemes.
2603  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: October 30, 2019, 10:01:43 AM
The world economy keeps crashing with many incidence of inflation. What is happening at the moment is  a clear indication of a world that has failed the minority. Although the underdeveloped countries could partly be blamed for the high inflation that exists in their respective economies. Would things turn around for good  if underdeveloped countries start to add value to their natural resources themselves without selling to the countries with good economy?
Severe inflation is really enormous especially for developing and underdeveloped countries. One reason might be, the country is making a move to counter something that is happeming within the country. For instance, the government of the country is trying to lessen and minimize the usage of cigarretes and tobacco due to the growing number of people dying from diseases caused by it, so their counter action to this is raising it's price. It could have been more better and effective if instead of raising prices, they raise their exporting price if their natural and native products.
2604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: October 29, 2019, 06:58:36 PM
I notice that some experts doing online trading journals just show you all their wins, and they hide their loses and anything stupid they did to lose money.  What traders out there sharing their daily trades are The Real McCoy?  I am sure that ever super traders make super stupid mistakes, then they just do not want people to think they did anything stupid. Where are their big loses at? Why do they only show their wins?

The Real McCoy
People are already a flaw and fault finder why would they show and flaunt their loses, downfalls and shortcomings ? Some might find it inspirational to know what they've been through and want to learn from it but experts rather not take the risk for it might destroy them and used against them.
2605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tired of all the bullshit charts people spread... on: October 29, 2019, 06:55:35 PM
I get wanting to have a sense of the big picture.
... but anything more than a few key pieces of information will just muddy the waters.

Maybe he's capable of keeping track of all that junk all at once.
But I know that I'm definitely not.

Like most of you, if I find myself in a strategy that's too muddy, I start drifting.

Finding myself in trades that I don't need, or want to be in...
Only noticing the bad decision after I've felt the pain of losing money.

So I keep it simple.

I make it easy for myself to stick to my strategy because I know firsthand what happens when you don’t…
It’s not pretty.

Are you tired of these tea leaf charts?
These fake charts are really good at giving crypto enthusiasts a hard time especially those who use charts as a reference in their trading and investment strategy. This could lead traders and investors into confusion and end up losing their assets because of the bullshits that they are spreading. Not very helpful at all and is highly destructing for those who uses technical analysis.
2606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some essential trading rules beginners! on: October 29, 2019, 06:49:33 PM

1. Yes, it's theoretically possible that you can make huge money in a very short period of time but there's very high chance you would end up loosing all your money so never think of making easy and quick money!

I highly agree with this. The market movement is very unpredictable, investing and trading will be a rollercoaster ride of predictions, hoping and thinking what would be next. Prices, which is highly affected by the actions and movement of crypto enthusiasts inside the crypto space could kick up to the highest possible price now then go back down to the lowest, that's why being impulsive doesn't have a place here. Everything should be calculated and decision wise.
2607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it necessary for a university to be registered from a government to issue... on: October 29, 2019, 06:43:06 PM
Is it necessary for a university to be registered from a government to issue a degree/diploma certificate? Or are there any governments who offer free registration of universities online?

I want to open a blockchain university which may offer master and graduation level courses for free
For you are planning to offer education, the standards for it to be accomplished and take place seamlessly would be high and would be a lot to work on, and will probably test your dedication and will to finish it. There will be lots of accreditation to be done depending on the count of the institutions related to education in your country and will vary among the regulations and laws implemented that needs to be reached within your country. Aside from the accreditations, you need to register everything so there would be no legal issues.
2608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 29, 2019, 06:24:06 PM
At first I thought this post was about getting tired of bitcoin price falls and can't wait for rise but it's a whole different subject of discussion.
Well, OP, everything was amazing, fun and interesting at first, I would call that time era of freebitco because that website introduced me into bitcoins. That time bitcoin wasn't commercial thing like it is now (can't mine at home, a lot of regulations on exchanges, KYC documents everywhere and etc).
That's getting boring but I'm still here because of bitcoin's possibilities, it's just nice payment method and consider this as an investment option too on long term.
If you can, get best it from it and use it for your needs, things get abused as time goes and that's why we have so terrible situation now. Bitcoin was nice when only few people knew it.
Indeed, we are supposed to do and get involved in cryptocurrency to do what we are supposed to do, focusing on our own pace and minding our business and not getting affected easily by the movements and actions of other crypto enthusiasts that co-exist with us within the crypto space. You aren't here to expect for a fair deal and easy peasy lemon squeezy type of environment, our era is in a race of getting to the top and escaping the life of being poor so no discussion for the greediness, it is inevitable and you can't change their mind. What you are experiencing right now is the reason why before entering the crypto space you should learn how not to be affected by your emotions, otherwise, you'll end up being like this.
2609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Attitudes in Latin America on: October 29, 2019, 06:11:49 PM
Latin America seems like ground zero for adoption but some governments are starting to take a hostile attitude towards private issuance of money. This article touches on some of it https://medium.com/altcoin-magazine/dows-panel-explores-different-perspectives-on-blockchain-and-cryptocurrencies-5475ce187312
There would be no wonder why a government would react in a hostile way towards private issuance of money for this is a big threat to them. The government is so used to controlling and manipulating everybody's money, the economy even rely upon it specifically from the taxations that all the money is having for every transaction it was going through, so privatization is a big move against their usual work and might affect them big time. So blockchain and digital currency would seem like getting into the government's way because of the decentralization.
2610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 ways China is boosting blockchain on: October 29, 2019, 05:56:44 PM
Xi Jinping has called Blockchain the core technology for Industries.

Read link - https://decrypt.co/10832/7-ways-china-boosting-blockchain-what-it-means-for-bitcoin
China is a big influence on the market and the world economy because of its economic status and how well it manages the whole country. Very powerful that its words and perspectives are very ideal to follow and be influenced at. Because of China's President Xi Jin Ping's announcement and words about blockchain technology being a good technology and a possible adaptation of the country to it, investors invested in blockchain-related stocks which could include bitcoin causing its price boost. How powerful.
2611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holiday Season Card with QR code on: October 29, 2019, 05:24:50 PM
Holiday season is just around the corner and I am planning to come up with my own design of card with holiday seasons message and a QR code that they can scan and get Bitcoins as a gift. Its not limited to Holiday seasons only, it maybe used for special occasion too like birthday and weddings. Its a simple way to promote Bitcoin and increase awareness. What do you think guys?
I like the reason for your initiative, bitcoin is indeed in need of help and action to achieve massive adaption for it was the only thing that bitcoin is lacking. So delighted to know that there are people making steps and is really in for making bitcoin popular and raise awareness about its existence. But somehow your initiative has a downside, crypto enthusiasts are already aware that there are lots of scams that just around the corner waiting for their victims and they might not buy yours due to being careful and cautious. It's still a good initiative tho.
2612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rising number of Americans own crypto and nearly 13 million women says study.. on: October 29, 2019, 04:59:08 PM

Americans who own a cryptocurrency has almost doubled from 7.95% in 2018 to 14.4% in 2019, an increase of 81% in one year,
according to a new survey. That means roughly 36.5 million Americans own some form of crypto.
https://www.finder.com/how-many-people-own-cryptocurrency

That is a big change after 1 year. Trump is known as being against the cryptocurrencies but the interest in Bitcoin of the people of the U.S.A is increasing very quickly. If it goes continually like this, the government may not think of banning cryptos not ever.
No matter how tight the government is in implementing rules against cryptocurrency, it's still up on the people's discretion and prerogative to choose what to do. People are already enlightened and exposed to crypto making them want to do it and have it more. They already knew what are the advantages and the good side of cryptocurrency, how profitable bitcoin could be once started. Also, people are already suffocated with the government's interference with their lives that's why some cryptocurrency's decentralization like bitcoin is such a relief.
2613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin needs institutional money coming in? on: October 29, 2019, 04:01:51 PM

I am just curious: Why do we need institutional money coming in to Bitcoin as if it is the one that can rescue Bitcoin from going down? Is this not an obvious sign that as a supposedly P2P currency Bitcoin is failing on this aspect?

Bitcoin is supposed to be in the hands of the people and not with institutions, or so that is the impression I got by reading some articles about Bitcoin and it should be taking the many traditional institutions by storm, right? Now, I am seeing that it is the other way around.

Please correct me if my impressions is really wrong. Or maybe I miss something here. But please don't insult my ignorance...

What you've been missing is fact-checking, you don't need to believe everything you will see, everything you will hear, and everything you will read anywhere especially from media, they used to cut out details and emphasize something wrongly, making a biased and the most one-sided thing you'll ever encounter. But it's very healthy and essential that you are taking time asking questions you didn't completely understand or might mistake. Well, on the other hand,  bitcoin doesn't necessarily need institutional money but it would be very helpful to have some for liquidity and stableness of the coin.
2614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [WARNING] Blockchain.com Clone - PHISING on: October 28, 2019, 06:58:19 PM
The look of this site is exactly the same as the original only a different domain, scamers have now done everything to fool many people, at this time I don't receive emails like that, but I will be vigilant and be careful when viewing domains.
This fake website could trick and fool so many crypto enthusiasts especially beginners. Beginners aren't really familiar with the site so they are probably the ones that have a high risk of falling into these traps. Good thing this was posted here so people, again, especially the beginners could take note and be warned of this one. Scammers are doing everything just to collect information through phishing and use it for executing other schemes like identity theft or stealing assets, so beginners or the so-called newbies, be cautious, y'all has been warned.
2615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re:
Blockchain Powered Phones on: October 28, 2019, 06:49:40 PM
The growth of crypto apps on mobile devices is good for crypto currency ecosystem because it will bring crypto to more people, but using phones or mobile devices to store crypto, and trade is one of worst things crypto enthusiasts can do, in my opinion.

If I had a large amount of coinage with only one place to put it I would choose a phone over an internet capable laptop 8 days of the week.

I have genuinely never heard of a phone wallet being hacked.

It's still not sensible to have money on something you're not completely in control of but phone's are a much less bad option than anything with Windows on it.

I wouldn't be willing to put coins into phones like these, we've no idea how competent the developers are, but an established wallet on an up to date phone with the seed safely stored is a good option.
Entrusting your crypto wallet on your phone would be the worst and the dumbest thing an enthusiast could do. Mobile phones are by far the most vulnerable hardware devices ever made because of its portability and size, it could be lost within just a snap. SO I guess this mobile phones with built-in blockchain-related apps shouldn't make you feel excited because just the idea? it's so risky.
2616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Cryptocurrency Trading for Beginners on: October 28, 2019, 06:39:34 PM
I know there are a number of people here who have been looking for simplified ways to automate aspects of their portfolio.

As a result, I would like to suggest the following guide:

https://cryptopress.news/automated-cryptocurrency-trading-for-beginners/

This guide discusses how to automate your portfolio using strategies like portfolio rebalancing.

I think it's worth a read for everyone to explore this new concept.
People like you are such a heaven-sent for beginners especially for those who are actually looking for things like this, it's like an answered prayer. It would help them a lot since they are like walking to a street without any light in it. This could guide them and could be their starters with their trade for there is a lot to learn in trading, but I'm hoping they won't fully rely on this and take time learning automation and actual trading so they could stand alone.
2617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: October 28, 2019, 06:28:38 PM
Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading?
i hard to say when you sometimes tired from trading or have stress from ico or lose part of deposit. What you do to relax refresh youself and get inspiration for new trade. How much time you need to refresh youself for new hight.
It would take me a day or two to refresh my mind and condition myself again. I will be needing some time reflecting and spend time without thinking about anything related to trading cause it would be exhausting forcing my mind to be involved with things that made it tired. Then, I will think about the things that made me start doing trading then keep myself reminded of the things that have to be accomplished, then go back to the game.
2618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 28, 2019, 06:20:17 PM
No wonder why, people are already adopting and accepting digital currency like bitcoin. Some people finally understand how a digital currency works, maybe they realize its value and the advantage on using it. Just like them i'll also choose digital, because it can be used for a lot of other things and its less hassle in making transactions and payments.
Even I would prefer receiving my gift through a digital currency for I don't want other people to have a say and access to it. I would much prefer receiving it in the form of bitcoin for it would be more convenient and decentralized so no taxations and such will interfere with my enjoyment. More people realized that it was the digital currency that could give us the most advantageous place.
2619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple and undeniable proof that Bitcoin is a scam on: October 28, 2019, 05:59:49 PM
All of the above are valid concerns but hold true for gold and precious metals as well. Do you regard those as scams too?
Well the post could really make sense and has a point, but maybe people are being blinded with features of bitcoin that they didn't found on fiat. One of those features could be the decentralization of bitcoin, making tyhe assets of users be free from the manipulation of the government which people or investors highly prefer for they want complete power over their assets, who wouldn't want to, right? Plus the convenience. So no matter how sensible the concern said above, if people don't wanna believe you, they won't.
2620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Has Something to Do with Bitcoin's Price Increase After All on: October 28, 2019, 05:51:16 PM
China’s state-controlled television station, CCTV.com, recently hosted a segment breaking down Bitcoin, according to a prominent trader that closely follows the region’s cryptocurrency scene.

China's state controlled television explaining the basics of "first ever blockchain technology" #bitcoin $btc, and how a distributed ledger works

Imagine 1.3 billion people got to know bitcoin because state made an effort to explain how it works.
As much as we want to stop thinking that bitcoin's price in the market is driven by any country, so as china, we can't deny the fact that China's reputation is very huge and powerful that their words could manipulate things. So if they declare that they will be acknowledging blockchain or they've already acknowledged blockchain and commend bitcoin for being one of its greatest customers in using a ledger, they'll surely could take part in changing and influencing people's mind.
