2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 05, 2021, 06:36:07 AM
I dont know why peoe want to see this fight.  In theor prime is where its at.  People might want to hate on money but pound for pound probably one of the best to ever put on gloves regardless if they fought "now".  He has been out of the game for awhile and don't give me that Connor talk.  No one could ever hit floyd that solidly, exquisite as defensive boxing has ever seen.  And if you do t like defensive boxing then you do t like boxing its part of the sport.

I guess I have a bias answer to that first line.

I want Manny Pacquiao to win this fight, that's all. I don't hate Floyd Mayweather, I know his style, his strategy the reason he is undefeated in his career but in their last fight, I feel that Manny won. Although I am not certain about that since I am not a professional judge nor a boxer, I just felt that that match is for Pacquiao to win.

Most of us wants Manny to win, he has a lot of fans in the world, different races, they still admire Manny Pacman. If this would really happen, this should be the biggest fight this year, I think bigger than Fury vs AJ as the whole would will watch at this fight and rooting for Manny to beat Mayweather, probably a KO so this will not reach in judges scorecards.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: February 05, 2021, 06:21:15 AM
~snip~
And also consistency. They were consistent in keeping the number until it had it hit after a very long year of waiting. We will never know even if someone becomes consistent for 20 years, there's no assurance that they'll be hitting the jackpot.
Maybe when they were betting on that number, they just made it as a hobby and didn't expect that it will hit someday until it finally did.

It will better if we can use the lottery game as a hobby and we buy the ticket occasionally and not trying to buy as that woman. We don't have to think about when we hit the jackpot because we never know the time, and we can buy it continuously. But it will be better to allocate some money, for example, $10-$20 monthly, and we never use more than that amount.

Perhaps, consistency and persistence will bring luck to us, so someday we can hit the jackpot by coincidentally. That will surprise us if we can hit it after we wait for a long time like that woman.

Definitely it should be a hobby, otherwise if you are too serious with lottery, you'll be bankrupt easily.

Just imagine the bettors chance of winning, not even close to 1% and you are spending a lot of money when you bet, that's a suicide to be frank.
This kind of lottery is usually for charity, the word itself says you are only donating money, means you'll likely to lose, 99%. Grin

I thought the injury was serious.

Joel Embiid Nasty Knee Injury After Collision With Enes Kanter

Good thing he was able to come back and play, unfortunately they loss by a huge margin against the Lillard less Portland TrailBlazers.

What a disappointment.
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could DOGE could reach 1$...? on: February 04, 2021, 11:47:41 PM
As what the saying goes, "Nothing is impossible".... therefore the answer is yes.

Maybe we should ask when will it happen? or how long will it take to reach 1 usd?

you know what, as the hype still in the market, manipulators can play around, so anything could happen, even at 2 usd, it should not be impossible.
2645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherum overtake bitcoin marketcap? on: February 04, 2021, 11:34:01 PM
How long until this happens?

It will take an eternity- lol

Honestly, I believe ETH is a great coin, a great project with a great future but I don't think it will ever surpass the success of bitcoin as this market is mostly controlled by bitcoin.

look how big the market is, and how big also the dominant rate of bitcoin. https://coinmarketcap.com/

61.2% Dominant rate now, that's bitcoin => entire altcoins market.
2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: February 04, 2021, 11:22:25 PM
I don't think the bounty scam will disappear on the grounds that, supposedly, the scam will consistently be there on the crypto market. At the point when the new pattern comes, numerous scammers will be prepared to scam individuals, particularly new individuals who don't have a lot of data about crypto. It is difficult to say that the bounty scam will leave us since when money is included, individuals will pursue it, and they won't check the project's legitimacy. So consistently be cautious when you need to invest or participate in the bounty program.

I agree, even in our present world where regulators are strict, there are still a lot of scammers. As a bounty hunters, we should act like an investor, we need to be knowledgeable and responsible on the projects we are promoting, that way scammers will not succeed because we are not supporting them.

Let's just accept the reality that the market is still in the status of a "HIGH RISK" now, all we need to do is to manage it minimize its risk.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Broner vs Santiago Feb 20 on: February 04, 2021, 10:10:39 PM
Broner is already a worn out fighter his boxing has been broken. We see how Pacquiao expose the weakness of his style in close range combat. He's an open book, should end his career if he's to lose with this match, we all know that Mexicans are skilled and love to brawl. Steady counter puncher like Broner should be an easy target. Probably the underdog has the upperhand here.

Though bookies has not yet placed an odds for this fight but i do think that Broner would be the favorite to win here and Santiago would be on the other side.

He may have lost to Manny Pacquiao and have not fight since but i do thing he is not yet a worn out boxer, he is just 31 years old and i do think that he still have a fight left in him, he have to train more and talk less  Smiley.

Of course, on his age he would come so far to become the most highest paid boxer and show more good fights in the future. This man placed more odds rather than those new boxers, because his experience on several fight fights is a key factor to enhance according to his skills as well. At that age, it's not yet over and I believed he definitely acquire more match and boost up his career in order to take that legacy.

I don't see what kind of legacy Broner will leave in boxing, probably his "trash talking" which he was popular of. Any boxer that fought Manny Pacquiao will always be remembered and as cocky as Broner, fans will not be having a hard time to remember him.
2648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 04, 2021, 09:54:26 PM
I love watching 50 cent's movie but fighting against the best in the sports of boxing, I doubt he would last here, unless they'll stage this one like a movie that is scripted. Well, good luck, I hope this will not again be the same with Mayweather's previous fight that did not gain a lot of attention.

Why this?

Why not Manny Pacquiao? I thought he called out Manny already.

Breaking News:

Gregg Slaughter signs new contract with Ginebra

As expected, Slaughter returns to the BGSM with a new contract. There are no details about the contract were revealed yet but whatever it is, it's a good improvement to the BGSM lineup this upcoming All-Filipino Cup.

I hope to see some big movements too outside SMC teams aside from hunting good rookies on the Rookie draft.

For seeing what SMB got from trade recently I doubt other teams can out numbered them but since Slaughter is now back maybe he can contribute on the paint and I really hope he improve so well in this season since he need to be dominant specially he is so tall and he should used that advantage against his enemy since he's so soft before that's why other players doesn't really take him as a big threat.

But hope he's improved guy when filipino cup is open.

We have lots of suprising news lately, honestly I did not expect Slaughter to come back in the PBA, maybe they assure him that he will not get traded for C. Stand? I can't wait for the new season to start, let's see if his training in the US can help him up his performance.
2651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 04, 2021, 11:39:48 AM
I'm just curious, why there's no hype in this fight anymore, was the source unreliable? because if it's a reliable information then media outlets are already talking about this fight, but now not seeing anything yet. What's the real score here?
because Mayweather has already fading career , and Pacman's Fans knew that He only uses this Fight to cover His failure gaining
attention to the public and gamblers in His fight against that YouTuber .

So now he is Bugging Pacquiao's Team to save His Failures.

His career does not fade because in the first place he is already a retired boxer, can't compare that to Manny Pacquiao who is still active in boxing. In terms of finances, we never know Mayweather's status as he doesn't share, what he showed to us is he can spend a lot of money, so it does not tell us that he is struggling financially.

2653  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: February 03, 2021, 11:26:05 PM
Accept your mistake and move on to find a new opportunity again. Correcting our mistakes everytime is important to grow, we don't have to stop right away after making mistakes, even if we are successful already, we still want to make more by doing our effective strategy, some with making mistakes, we will not stop until we learn and be good at what we are doing.
2654  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk-takers always ahead financially on: February 03, 2021, 10:47:50 PM
Indeed, risk takers are not afraid to get out of their comfort zone, they are willing to take even bigger risk trying to gamble their knowledge and skills for the aim of getting successful. Before I was too focus of being a corporate employee but later I realized that I'm becoming a corporate slave that's why I get out because I realized I don't want to spent the rest of my life making my boss richer while I struggle financially.

Crypto was really a blessing for me, it changed my life and thanks for the wisdom God has given my that time I realize it.
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 03, 2021, 10:31:05 PM
We still have old veterans left in the PBA, if I'm not wrong, we still have the following players.

1- Mark Caguioa  of Ginebra San Miguel (41 years old)
2- Rafi Reavis of Magnolia Hotshots ( 43 years old)
3- Reynel Hugnatan of Meralco Bolts (42 years old)

These players have not thought of retiring yet, so we might see them in the upcoming seasons.
Rafi Reavis and Reynel Hugnatan are still very active as they are getting good minutes in a game, so I also like them to stay active.

News about Rafi Reavis (as you can see not interested yet in retiring)

https://tribune.net.ph/index.php/2020/12/27/retirement-far-from-reavis-agenda/

With a bunch of young talent in the upcoming draft, PBA need space for them and these players should have retired lol.

But in fairness to Hugnatan and Reavis, they have done a good job of keeping their body on top shape thus enabling them to compete with the younger guys.

Even though Cyrus Baguio could still play competitive basketball but he decided to retire, Mark Caguioa should do the same  Smiley.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/cyrus-baguio-finally-retires-after-colorful-17-year-pba-career-a793-20210124

Mark Caguioa is enjoying himself being a bench warmer, probably he won't retire soon since he can still play and he can give a spark to the team when it needed, his experience is very helpful to the team and though he played a limited minutes but he can give a quality game.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: January 22, 2021, 08:59:25 AM
If this is the mandatory so be it, Canelo should have an easy time against Yildirim. And Yildirim is a win-win situation here, Canelo is the cash cow now so he is lucky, like winning a lottery, and then *potentially* upset Canelo.

Not expecting an upset here, of course it can happen, but this version of Canelo I would say in unbeatable. No one can even touch this guy. He is in the prime of his career.

Looks like Canelo didn't take any damage in the Callum Smith fight, as he is ready to go to fight again in three months time, I reckon it will be like 1.1x odds for Canelo here.

That's what I saying, supposedly to be his toughest opponent, but look what happen, he didn't get any damage and can go active in two months to fight. And at 168 lbs, he will clean up this division whenever he want to.

I agree, it seems that Canelo is getting better every fight and I think it has something to do with his coach Reynoso who really took Canelo to the next level and becoming p4p best in the last 2 years.

Well, in paper it look like Callum Smith will be a big threat to Canelo, natural 168 lbs champion with power and has height advantage. Canelo negate everything and win impressively. So yes, this is going to be like  a walk in the park for Canelo and yeah, the odds could be lower than 1.1x, could be 1.0x when the betting odds open. Probably it's best to bet by per round, the odds might be attractive at least.

The odds are as follows according to . https://bettinginsiderjournal.com/boxing-odds-for-canelo-alvarez-vs-avni-yildirim/

-5000 is equivalent to 1.02, so you are right mate, no one would take that 1.02, there should be more odds available like the handicap betting odds so betting on this fight will be more exciting.

2657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 21, 2021, 04:17:59 PM
Crypto is ruled soon by sec and goverment its not goodw

Make your cash and get out of crypto
Pepple dont like regulated things fuck rules and regulations crypto is freedom if the goverment start fuck woth our bitcoins and crypto then its not good

We stay for using cash
Even though the future of crypto is still unpredictable, it doesn't mean we should already jump into conclusion that someday, the government will take over the authority in it. We should not forget that cryptocurrency is a decentralized currency meaning no organization or no  government has authority over it. If I would be ask if I would stay for long in crypto, I'll say yes cause there are still a lot of things that will occur which will more likely be beneficial for us who stayed faithful towards it. We can estay using cash whilst using crypto too. Nothing's needed to be abandoned.

Yes. We can continue investing in crypto and fiat at the same time. I was here for quite long years, and with that long stay in crypto i was able to gain good amount of income. So i don't believe that crypto is not good for long term because the truth is crypto is more profitable if you keep it for long term. And crypto will never be controlled by the government because of its nature being decentralized.
2658  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami mayor considers investing in bitcoin with public funds on: January 20, 2021, 10:10:44 AM
Diversifying your investment portfolio is a great idea.

Investing in stocks and bonds is currently quite risky.  After all, the economic situation in the United States and in the world is not very good.  Bank deposit accounts offer zero interest rates.  At the same time, keeping funds in commercial banks is also risky.  Therefore, it makes sense to keep part of the investment portfolio in Bitcoin and gold bars.

Therefore, the proposals of the Mayor of Miami seem absolutely reasonable.

The main thing is that the acquisition of Bitcoins with government money does not contradict US law.
I guess just for now it becomes more risky to keep money in the bank. actually according to my current understanding, the safest investment is the gold bar, because its value may not be able to decrease on a significant scale. and I think it's just a matter of time before governments in other regions will announce their interest in bitcoin, when bitcoin is getting known and gaining trust as a good investment, that's where bitcoin starts to become a trusted investment
Even before bitcoin was still in its early stage, we have made profits already. This time, investing in bitcoin is of high risk because of its expensive price but we all know that its highly volatile so more likely, the price will still go down. And that would be the perfect time for Miami mayor to start investing in bitcoin especially that he will use public funds. The profit is definitely bigger if you buy bitcoin with a cheap price. I also think Suarez has studied this bitcoin investment deeply before he propose it to his citizens and for that, he's already aware of its do's and dont's and its advantages and disadvantages.
2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 19, 2021, 01:54:12 PM
If you look back at 2017 pump it was average users like us who got the benefit of bull run as Bitcoin was easily affordable before the bullrun hence a good portion of users had bitcoin in their portfolio as there were not that much altcoins available in the market. But this year who has gained more ? Is it average users or else institutions and traders who made most of it? I think it's trader's who bought at cheap and sold at high because institutions are yet to cashoutm what do you all think?
This time institutions were more active than were in 2017. The institutional players added additional power to Bitcoin. We can almost conclude that institutions were the engine and the collector of profit. The huge investments in Bitcoin were significant by MicroStrategy and Grayscale. At the same time, traders get the chance to benefit from the price differences. In 22 days Bitcoin doubled its price it was unprecedented. Also, hodlers and who bought Bitcoin in March 2020 were the absolute winners here.
Winners are those investors who have bought bitcoins when the price was around $3k-$4k and up to the present patiently hold their bitcoins. If they sell them with the current price, huge profits surely awaits them. Whales are also winners of their own since they own huge amount of bitcoin which makes the price pumps more. And institutional investors too who accepts bitcoin as a payment to accumulate more bitcoin and in return, hold them so that the current bitcoin price will still keep on pumping.

2660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin price had not crashed in 2018 on: January 18, 2021, 10:36:00 PM
The crash that happened way back at early stage of 2018 have become frustrating to all of us for the fact that after long years of existence, Bitcoin have attained its first largest ATH recorded in the late months of 2017 which gave hype to all of us and comes the entrance of many people wanting to get into Bitcoin because of that happening but all of a sudden have been burst out getting into dump which also drags down many people that have bought and get engage when the ATH happened. If ever Bitcoin price did not crash way back 2018 maybe many people are into Bitcoin since then because after the crash, many gets against Bitcoin once again calling it a scam when in the reality it just undergo the process of correction for it have been hyped up and gets into an increase all of a sudden. Well, it doesn't matter anymore discussing the past for we are already at the present getting into the future. Such happenings will now be just part of our past that left us learnings and lessons we can use.
2017 was indeed a very challenging year for all of us and even when 2018 came, it gave us lessons to learn so we can still make profits despite of its sudden crash in the market. Although many have become frustrated on the market when bitcoin and altcoins price suddenly dump when we least expect it, but if we became wise enough to seize every opportunitues to make profits, then we might have made it when 2017 had became a bullish year end. I think it's not the market's fault but all things could be possibly rightfully done if the investors are wise enough and have not become greedy.
