I feel you bro. So this mean they have not paid last week?
...

They did pay eventually, with 2 days delay. And hopefully it will be on time next week.

I don't really get what is happening in this campaign anymore. Payment day has been changed to Thursday, and now I did not receive payments, and a new week has started counting??? Someone, please explain what is going on here

You haven't received payment for the previous period (up to Sun 23.59) as you only made 1 post (minimum is 15).
Yes, payment day is moved to Thu. That's when you should get your payment. Current period runs from Mon, 15th (if you haven't removed your signature) till Wed 24th 23.59 (to be paid on Thu 25th).
2665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Legolas Exchange, fair, secure and realistic exchange on: January 18, 2018, 05:27:33 PM
lol
this guys even dont have money to pay for their signature campaign

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2705913.0
You have a time to complain and spread negativity when you didnt get payment but you dont have courtesy to come here and post again when you get paid. How silly some people posts only for money. If you pay them, they will say all good things about you,if they dont, they will spread bad words lol

Yes, that's how things work. You stick to your part of agreement and pay on time - you earn good reputation. You don't pay on time and fail to communicate - you earn bad reputation.

Sure, he could pop in and say that payments have been received. But then again, no one from Legolas team came here to apologise for the delay and lack of communication. Do you want to comment on that or just picking on easy target?

At least he had balls to speak up. What I see right now is that most of campaign participants (not Legolas, but in general) are too afraid to criticise their managers/campaigns even if they are treated like shit. What's worse, they would be "white-knighting" and piling on against anyone who dares to speak up. Why? Because they are the ones who are here only for profit and they're too afraid to lose their spots + thinking that sucking up would earn them few 'points' and make their spots more secure. No surprise, a lot of them are from shithole countries (where "employer-employee = master-slave" mentality is common) and they do this for a living. Sad to watch really.

2666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price drops transferring bitcoin to exchange question on: January 18, 2018, 12:05:32 PM
ok thanks for explaining!

So just another couple question if ok, when you say "send your transaction with highest possible fee" what roughly is the dollar amount for a fee like this?

Fees are defined in BTC (satoshi per byte) not USD. If your wallet allows you to set fee manually, check what are the current recommended fees and set it slightly higher:
https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

Scroll down, you'll see:

Quote
Which fee should I use?

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 510 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.

If your wallet only gives you options to choose i.e. "low priority", "normal", "priority" - go for the highest ("priority") and hope it's sufficient, not much more you can do.

And which of trezor or nano hardwired wallets are better?

Don't use any of them so don't know.
2667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price drops transferring bitcoin to exchange question on: January 18, 2018, 11:51:45 AM
ok so there stories online of of people having their money stuck in between a wallet and the exchange and not being able to sell for 12 hours or a day is incorrect even after they used highest possible fees?

Could be true, I can't tell, you'd have to look at each case separately to tell what was the reason. There are plenty of factors to consider, such as: many wallets have poorly designed fee calculations (their 'priority fee' could be insufficient), exchanges tend to have problems during high traffic and deposits are stuck as 'pending' even when confirmed, blocks are not always mined every 10 minutes (especially when the hashrate drops), miners could be mining empty blocks or prioritising transactions of their clients etc. And of course, what I mentioned above - if the demand exceeds network capacity - some transactions simply won't go through.
2668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price drops transferring bitcoin to exchange question on: January 18, 2018, 11:33:04 AM
So 30 minutes from wallet to exchange and to be able sell is double while massive price drops and demand? I just assumed next day or at least many hours.

No, 20-30 minutes is the minimum time you should expect before you can trade your deposit assuming your transaction gets in the next block (and that exchange requires 3 confirmations).

The short answer: If time is a priority to you - send your transaction with highest possible fee. That's the only thing you can do. Most of the time it will get 3 confirms within 1 hour (even during high demand), but again - it's not guaranteed.
2669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price drops transferring bitcoin to exchange question on: January 18, 2018, 11:12:26 AM
...
Basically what i am asking is if i do choose a decent mining fee would you get the bitcoin deposited into the exchange within a hour or? so you can sell?
...

Heavy "traffic" won't affect frequency of blocks being mined (every 10 minutes on average), but it's harder to get your transaction included in the next block.

The higher fee you choose to pay - the higher the chance of your transaction getting in the next block. But no one can guarantee you that. If million people send their txs exactly the same time (even with super-high fees) most of them will have to wait for the next blocks.

Also note that every exchange sets their own preference in terms of minimum confirmations (before making your btc deposit available to you). Usually it's around 3. So even if your transaction goes through fast, you'll have to wait for miners to mine 2 more blocks. So the process would take (on average) 20-30 minutes.
2670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 18, 2018, 10:16:34 AM
This isn’t the crash I was promised.

I sold all my coins at $9222 because they were no longer valuable. I’ll buy them again when they’re really worth something. Maybe in March at a new ATH seems a good buy point. I don’t want to miss out....

Buy high - sell low. Trade like a pro! Buying dips is for amateurs.

No it will be on Thursday

For everyone, or only for those who removed signatures and are reapplying?

Little update:

Legolas have paid for the first week - with slight delay: https://blockchain.info/tx/b8c89b61a194f9513dec3ee7859a8cfc9cef87051ac8f468cffac647c145e829

And they're looking to escrow the funds for future periods: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2771232 Go for it Mitchell. edit: changed their mind. They won't escrow.
2673  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 17, 2018, 01:05:21 PM
They have calculated with a BTC price of about $11.764,98. But this BTC price did not exist in the last hours.
That's really disappointing. First, the payment arrives very late and then even less than promised.

Well, it's not specified whether they would use a rate at the time the payment is made, or any other i.e. rate at the start of campaign period, or an average rate for the period.

I also expected they would pay at current rate, but as long as it's somewhere between the rates of the start of the period and date of the payment, I don't see a major issue here.

I do NOT blame the manager! He was very accommodating!

I don't see anyone blaming him.
2674  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 17, 2018, 12:46:50 PM
Payment received. Thanks Wapinter for chasing them and for getting that sorted.

I have received 0.00254994 BTC. But this is only $26,90.

BTC Price on Bitstamp $10.551,06 * 0.00254994= $26,90. Why not the promised $30?  Huh

Yup, I've got $35.75 instead of $40. Looks like they used ~$12k BTC/USD rate, which is a bit strange. But then again, the payments were meant to be made on Mon 15th, when BTC was at above $14k. So if they paid on time, you'll get less than you got today.

Update :Good news guys,Legolas team has asked me to find a good escrow with minimum fee.I am searching for the one who is online

Great. This would ensure future payments will be done on time. But what about payments for last week?
2677  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 17, 2018, 10:48:28 AM

Let's give them 2 more hours. 12 hours (as per Wapinter's last post) haven't yet passed.

Then yes, let's put some warning in their ANN thread and leave appropriate trust feedback to the OP of that thread:

They said on discord that the payment is "on their plate today". Lets just wait and see

...You guys can stop promoting till you get your payment

Fair enough.
2680  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 16, 2018, 02:59:09 PM
when do we receive our payment?

By the end of yesterday. So pretty much this:

Probably never Cheesy

It's starting to look like we all got Legolased. That's the risk you take when joining non-escrowed, untrusted campaigns.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm dropping the sig if no payment is done today.
