Which things have been accomplished?

Nothing yet, but MsCollec has put together a good whitepaper and roadmap ahead. They say next week will be some releases. If you have faith, invest. If not, then dont. Right now theres no reason to call it either way, just wait another week before making subtle accusations.

I was responding to another poster but since you decided to butt in, when I make accusations, I am anything but subtle.
2702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VOOT] X11 VootCoin-Nitesend | Tor | Multi-Pool | Yahoo!Finance|CRYPTSY on: July 18, 2014, 03:32:30 PM
Well, back to sub 1000 again, but it was a nice pump.

Mintpal after launch of Vootmarket (will it happen in a month?).
.

why would mintpal only add voot when market is released?
They add loads of shitcoins, coins that barely have anything going on with them.. or coins with promises of being anon with devs that are full of shit....voot is already technologically more advanced than a lot of coins on mp..but now voot needs to have a freaking market for mintpal to add voot as well??

Can someone (or you) post a screenshot or log/link confirming this has been said by mp, i just cant believe it..

Dont think MintPal will have the same effect as it did when it was ninja listing while being #1. Their last 2 ninja listings Isis and Tor have been a complete flop, trading at a combined 8BTC volume atm, and factor in the VRC security breach, theyre on the decline. If anything let other worthy coins get ninja listed first to break their cold streak. Voot is better off added while they have momentum on their side again. My 2cents

I'm not really bothered about being on mintpal, and for me it's not about being added.
It's the fact people are saying that mintpal will add voot when there is a market, seems like a very weird thing to say when you look at the roadmap for voot and things accomplished already.

and if mp would hold such high standards for voot, then how could they ever justify adding tor and isis ... Roll Eyes

Which things have been accomplished?

Note: after writing this I realized the gay sex part was your photoshop, I found it amusing, I really have no clue what Jim Carrey movie it comes from (if that is him at all).  I have a sick sense of humor, again, aspies thing did not offend me at all.   A lot of time but the coin wars crap I'm very over is all and your posts seemed mostly to be stemming from that.   Anyfuck, blah blah blah, go Vericoin!

Gay sex part was not his photoshop.  It is an actual screenshot from film I Love You Philip Morris (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1045772/
Actors are Jim Carrey (background) and Ewan McGregor (foreground)
The coin "tattoos" were edited parts.

"As Ewan [McGregor] said, 'When you're kissing another guy it can get a little prickly.' Actually, you had to put out of your mind your own sexual preference and just try to understand that you were loving another person who just happens to be a guy.” – Jim Carrey on his sex scenes with Ewan McGregor in “I Love You Phillip Morris”

Oh wow, I thought dude in front was Christian Bale.  Looking into that movie now.  Thanks for the information

It is not Ewan McGregor.

Where's all the basic info on VOOT? How many coins, how many pre-mined and an explanation of the main features?

are you serious? Everything you just asked for is in the OP
Pay him no mind. He's a vericoin talking head trying to start something.  Funny thing is he spends most of the time there attacking blackcoin holders for doing the same thing on the vrc thread.

You both, definitely, should pay no mind (if you would have any). Cannot agree more.
Just relax.  I'm sure the next pump will come again on vrc. I'm sorry it was postponed from the mintpal debacle. Until then just sit and wait instead of attacking voot. Go try one of the 100 shitcoins started everyday.

Why do you insist on "paying mind" to me? I already told you that you don't have any and that I am not interested in engaging you in any way. Any way at all.

I posed questions and would appreciate answers ... from people with minds, that is.
how do you expect to be taken seriously when you pose questions and then immediately insult the people who reply? go back to whatever hole youve been hiding in. Go troll the URO people, they believe anything...

Just stop feeding the troll guys. The more you reply, even with serious answers to his questions, the more he will poke and prod until the thread devolves into a bunch of crap...

One last time: I posed the questions for people WITH MINDS to answer them. You two insist in engaging and, once again, I am NOT INTERESTED at all on anything any of you two can ever say. "Serious" or not. Clear now I hope.

Well 68 million with an asterisk that is not explained doesn't mean much, does it? And 10 BTC premine is more confusing than explanatory.
As for the features, there's plenty of code but nothing I can see that could explain in an understandable manner to anyone interested, what it is that this coin actually does. They are not "selling the pen", so to speak, at all, at the OP... which is the main door for anyone interested.

Perhaps more importantly, the 10% "interest" is a very serious problem for that alone will add MILLIONS of coins per year. How is this going to be a store of any value when the level of inflation will eventually make it completely worthless?

I must be missing something in this picture, something that definitely is not in the OP.

Lol

Incredible coin, devs and community, we are unstoppable.

Price, by the way, is 20% above recent lows just under 30k.

The markets have spoken.

Bullshitters will shut up.

Because I own 0 VRC I am technically a neutral party giving my outside perspective.

Take it for what it is worth, or you can cry about it. The choice is your.

Mahalo,

Smoothie  Grin

Oh no risk of people here and everywhere not taking "... it for what it is worth": Crap.

I guess the 3-4 fudders who kept vrc at the top of the forums posting 12 hours straight 5 times a page finally all bought after getting their victims to sell to them.

Was actually very impressive how badly they wanted to buy.  No sane person posts the way smoothie and crew did without needing/wanting to buy a substantial amount.

Why do people assume (and make accusations with no proof) that I wanted to buy a substantial amount of VRC?

FULL DISCLOSURE: I own 0 VRC and will never buy a single one ever.

REASONING: I would not ever want to be a part of the catastrophic effects of a rollback in the future should a massive hack/scam/theft happen related to VRC.

My posting has much to do with pointing out BS and calling things as I see it. If you knew my reputation on this forum you would know what is how I operated from day 1.

Frankly my dear, nobody gives a fuck here... Or anywhere.

blackcoin is so dead. It doesn't even get a pump anymore. Which explains why the BC community is so desperate in trolling another coin. It's all they have left. Kiss

Hit the nail right in the head.... Best case scenario, though...

You are VERY wrong.

Those few will not buy into VRC now (one or two already are in), not for any sustained period, anyway. One of them, at least, I can guarantee you, is the actual thief. The others either are in it somehow -not all, that's for sure- or are just foot soldiers from BC and a couple self-called "purists" (nut cases, in fact).
The BC platform is actually quite impressive and include all the BC Foundation members posting here an on Twitter and especially at the IRC channel. The vultures were circling the wagons looking for carrion and coming against the Black Hand -formerly ruling BC- and its frontman "Mr. Yo Soy Boricua Pa que Tu lo Sepas", who have jumped ship in not precisely amicable terms. These are already in VRC big time. Too big a time, in fact. But they direly need to pump it up before cashing in so be careful, but by all means, stay for the ride...

Nice story, Jose.
Not ging to dignify it with an answer, but why don't you just write adventures for kids? Those can also lack both logic and coherence, and as long as your picture is not on the cover they will find you funny and not just moronic.

Ah the fanboys, omnipresent.

Lost in the rubble, so to speak:

There's no Bristol PR campaign. Bristol refused to represent VRC because they didn't believe they could enhance the image of VRC in view of the constant attacks the coin is receiving... This is  quite strange, really. First of all, the refusal happened BEFORE the Mintpal "incident" and at that point, to my knowledge, the attacks on VRC were very few and far between. VRC was, in fact, one of the very few coins with the best possible image. Like I said, strange, strange, strange...

More significantly, Doug pointed towards "better PR things in store". Looking forward to them.

It was also clarified -no one asked, by I am quite interested- that Joel Bosch, Mr Boricuaman, had not only paid Bristol from his nown pocket but they had even cashed the check before they decided to refuse the job... again: Strange, strange, strange...

On the subject of Mr Boricuaman, the frontman of the Black Hand, don't forget that, on their move to VRC... he seems to be the "reason" for the flock of BC so called "elite" (elite of the biggest altcoin scam in history, mind you), flooding twitter, the VRC IRC channel and even here, front the regular foot soldiers, fanboys to the very board of the BC Foundation. He, as "Wizrig", has fallen from grace from BC and has become a much hated man by them. The Black Hand, mind you, has left BC because there's no more blood to be sucked out of the community since BC is only going down and in less and less volume and everyone in the Black Hand and his cohorts in BC -the dog, rat4, stgnu...- has already cashed out. So there was no possible save-face exit for Mr Boricuaman.

They are circling the wagons here very much the same way that they circled them when IE got on board promoting LibertyCoin, fully knowing that the foot soldiers and the Black Hand, with ... yes, Joel Bosch as captain, were positioned to take it down. Here, the strategy of the Black Hand, fully invested in VRC at present, I believe, is not just different than at LibertyCoin, it is actually opposed to the BC crowd. Interesting developments ahead. Where are you morituri13/dognip? How's that $30k plus PR campaign working for BC? Oh I know it is working quite well for you and your company but for BC? Who cares about a dying species, right? Come out, come out wherever you are...

Finally "Mr. Yo Soy Boricua Pa que Tu lo Sepas", what happened to the big party in Miami in which you were going to have world celebrities, red-carpet, CNN and CNBC -amongst many other media outlets- coverage? Oh, you are back to working on clothing now? We already have the T-Shirts...

Interesting developments ahead to say the least. Get the popcorn out...
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRC] | VeriCoin | POS - NSDI | VeriBit | VeriSend | VeriSMS on: July 16, 2014, 07:45:40 PM
I dunno.

Taking a look at the wallet, it seems pretty much the same as all the others, but with some centralised links to resources. The issue of centralisation of this coin bothers me - the core wallet shouldn't specify where you should buy your coin from, or where you should talk about it.

It's sort of like telling people that Tescos is where you need to spend your Visa cards, or Walmart is where you can buy your bananas.

I get the links, and the integration bit. But it seems, I dunno - a bit "faddy" to me. Also, this PoS stuff really has me troubled, because if it takes off and gets a serious market cap, then the security of its PoS system will be Properly tested. And honestly, PoS makes me uneasy.

I look at this coin, and all the others like it that were released around the same time, and since - and I think, why would I want to keep any of these coins longer than a few weeks and hope for a quick pump or release of new features that makes the price go up.

They don't seem to offer any actual practical value that I can tell. They just serve to take value away from the existing other coins, with their temporary short lived "features".

That is because you are thinking "inside the bubble" and obviously not "outside of the box". If you were you would have found long ago that in any investment, you bet on the people, not on any particular product or service for it is only the people manning the boat who will take you places. Especially in the long run. And the people here are NOT the community -it will quickly disappear, no matter how "faithful" if price doesn't move up, much quicker if it moves down in  a few weeks, a couple months at most-. The people at the helm are the one that count. The ONLY one that counts. And, in this particular coin, and responding to your pointed question, it is not the "features" or any of that shit that differs only slightly and in some cases lacks and in others is ahead from other "similar" coins. It is, again, the people: No other coin offers you a developer who is on the payroll of Microsoft. No one. Think of that what you want but no other developer can even remotely come close. I'd say that right away distinguishes VRC from all the others. They also were the first to come out of the anonymity closet, and that brings with it transparency that before was unheard and unthought of... the transparency going to the extreme of stating the amount of the dev teams ownership in VRC. No other coin has done that. And the bar keeps on going higher setting the standards for other coins to follow, like their "controversial" action in the recent theft that they thwarted.

So, as you can see, there's still a distance -quickly growing larger- between VRC and other "similar" coins.

And that is probably why, at the time of this writing, the price is starting to reflect it... in spite of "the controversy". Already 10% from lows of minutes ago after Mintpal's reopening the trading. The traders/investors DO get it. Hopefully you will too.
