2741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 23, 2020, 02:57:54 PM
Is a big mistake to use an exchange as a wallet, people must learn this because is easy for them to leave their coins and there are multiple risks on this move:

1.- If the exchange gets hacked you will lose your coins
2.- If your account gets hacked you will lose your coins
3.- If the exchange decide it them will take your coins

So, take this as a lesson and play it wisely the next time Wink
2742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASINO AFFILIATES on: November 21, 2020, 03:40:49 PM
It would be better if they mention the Rakeback % on the affiliates page... They don't mention how much the users can earn with this affiliate system, and I'm not on the way to open an account just to see how low it is.

Isn't easy at all to get affiliates, or to win a nice income with them, the lucky ones are those who can bring a whale under their referral, that's the truth about the affiliates system.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another person losses $20k to Fake Uniswap on Google Play on: November 21, 2020, 03:07:03 PM
Fake and Scam APP's are becoming more common nowadays, and the problem is the paid SEO (search engine optimization) they get. So, if a user googles the app, then the ads will show the fake one on the first positions.

I have a friend who loses some money this way too, but I realize the problem isn't the attack, the problem is google, they should have better filters to verify if a crypto app is from a real company or if it's a scam.

I like the transactions visualizations, you can see the transactions in real-time with some nice animations, some good examples of these services are:

http://www.bitlisten.com/
http://bitcoinglobe.com/
https://blocks.wizb.it/
https://privacypros.io/tools/bitbonkers/

Feels kind of relaxing to see all that money flow in real-time  Tongue
2745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Coding made fun on: November 20, 2020, 10:43:08 PM
As a coder, i can say the best way to make coding fun is with a bash script, I will give you an example...

Some days ago I was getting images for social media from 4chan/wallpapers, but download one by one those images was a boring task, so I made a script to download all the images from a thread:

Code:
echo "Please input the thread link"
read lk
mkdir newImg
cd newImg
lynx --dump $lk | grep i.4cdn | cut -d " " -f3 | sort -u > lst.txt
for a in $(cat lst.txt)
do
wget $a
done

I found a nice thread about skylines... with the script, I only input the link and get all the Full HD images in a new folder...

Now I use more web codes like JS, HTML, CSS... but sometimes I have fun with shot lines codes with Bash.
2746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Airbnb next to accept Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2020, 07:49:52 PM
Airbnb has been in some troubles with this pandemic, now the houses need some extra requirements to accept customers, and with all the paranoid people stop using this kind of service and move back to the classic hotels.

But BTC could be a nice move on their side to bring the service back. Let's see if they start accepting it.

2748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Sure On Whether To Buy Crypto Or Not? on: November 20, 2020, 04:41:02 PM
Now is a risky move to buy crypto, see how long had to wait for those who buy at 19k in the past bum, and until now they are close to recovering the loss. So, if you buy now and tomorrow it drops back to $10k then 50% will be gone, so play it smart. I don't really think is the right time to buy, but if you do it then good luck.
2749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 20, 2020, 12:19:00 AM
This is totally possible, and more if we think about the million of bitcoins that satoshi is holding... Isn't hard for him to become the richest man in the world if the Bitcoin price goes up to $100,000 dollars. I know $100k sounds as a fantasy, but is possible if bitcoin gets a huge market cap like Apple's market.

But the sad part of this is it only applies to Satoshi Nakamoto, and only for him because he is the only one holding 1 million Bitcoins.

2751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC market cap hits ATH on: November 19, 2020, 05:26:32 PM
Is a huge market capitalization, we can compare it with the Adobe market cap of 225B, but it still far away from the market capitalization of companies like Microsoft or Apple with 1.6T and 2T.

What will happen when the bitcoin market capitalization hits its first trillion? now that's the question...

With the first spot on the leaderboard
Wow awesome win, some people have gut, congrats to him.
By the way was it a plinko or dice bet?

It must be a plinko bet on the Red Line, as it is a rare thing to see someone hunt for a specific x130 on dice game.
By the way, seems that I missed the news on how much you earn from your octopus line few months back?
@Luckybit will be there another payline contest in the near future?

The bet was on plinko and you can replay it if you want with the next link:

https://luckyb.it/games/plinko/f9e6f03d-0f8f-4f56-b2cb-6f45965b25d4/48704da4-bbfe-4c36-a18b-90bb5681a4c9

And about the payline contest, I don't think there is a plan for them yet, better stay focus on the current promotion, where you can get a Rakeback up to 0.75%... So, if you bet 10BTC you get 0.075 back (with the first spot on the leaderboard)

So, let's ride the wave guys Wink
2753  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Lista blanca: nombre de dominio igual o parecido. on: November 17, 2020, 02:53:16 PM

https://www.coingecko.com/es/monedas/luckybit

2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 17, 2020, 04:08:17 AM
Have you investigated the legal face of this decision?

In my country (Mexico) isn't legal to add bitcoin as payment for your local business because bitcoin is not considered 'Money', it's legal face says it's a digital asset, but since isn't money, then you can't have it as a payment method...
2755  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where to learn Online about Digital marketing for the blockchain space on: November 16, 2020, 09:02:50 PM
Digital Marketing and online advertising for Blockchain projects can be done just like the same ordinary online marketing you do for any other project that is not blockchain related.
You can learn about digital marketing in online courses that exist in educating platforms such as coursera, udemy, etc.

I'm not sure if the normal marketing will work with blockchain, i mean some social networks don't allow us to promote the crypto projects. They have a bad concept about cryptos because it has been abused with scams and Ponzi. So if we want to make a facebook campaign or a twitter campaign to promote our crypto project, they will don't allow us at all.

I think the best way to promote a crypto project is in forums like this one. That's why signature campaigns exist.
¿Sería posible? on: November 16, 2020, 04:50:06 PM

2757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 16, 2020, 04:26:00 PM
First of all thanks for the video, it explains very well the issue with Paypal, i would not call them scammers for this but they limitations really sucks.

You can only buy, hold and sell bitcoins... The fact that you can't spend the bitcoins or dump your privatekey shows us how a centralized project deals with a descentralized one.
2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash: Halving Is Coming on: November 16, 2020, 03:26:12 PM
Zcash halving incoming might not result to any break in price in terms of pumping. Zcash as one of the old coins around might have stayed for too long. So many new projects coming up with newer technologies to compete with Zcash.

I feel like the halving will come with a prize crash because a lot of miners will have to move to another coin to still make a nice profit. And some of them will sell their coins, so, if a whale like that does his move then say bye to the $64. Halving always bring chaos and some hard moves on the markets.
2759  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: November 16, 2020, 03:17:43 PM
Hey suchmoon, congrats for this winning, i didn't think Trump could lose this one but looks the pandemic and all that people dying win that country plays an important role on this elections. When there were the elections vs Hillary odds was paying x5 on trump, i bet on trump and i get some nice profit, and is nice to see someone making profit while he lose the bone, so congrats again  Wink

...

As long as all are calculated wisely, I dont think it will be a risk. But as we are in gambling world, of course we are dealing with risks. Not only risks for players but also risks for the house.
Many sites out there with similar non stop promotions. It means that they are taking the risks to get more and more players.
Surely decision is on the owner, whether the owner is brave enough to take higher risks for higher possible returns or not.

if calculated correctly, it shouldn't be a problem. we can assume that they have thought about this carefully on the site. if certain mistakes are made with requirements or percentages, this can otherwise have major consequences

Is complex because if Luckybit adds a feature like that they have to cut some other features. So, would you risk the chat lottos and the welcome bonus for constant cashback? i don't think so :p

And to win in the cashback you have to lose first, to win with the chatbot you only have to be active.

----------------------- UPDATE

Luckybit listens to their customers and they launched a rackeback event for this week!!!
